Eva ist krass verliebt und will mit Deepak zusammensein. Dafür zieht sie nach dem Studium zu ihm nach Indien. Um auch Deepaks Eltern von sich zu überzeugen, verspricht Eva für immer dort zu bleiben. Eva und Deepak eröffnen ein erfolgreiches Restaurant in Pushkar. Der Preis dafür: Viel harte Arbeit, wenig Schlaf und kaum Freizeit. Nach ein paar Jahren bekommt Eva ständig Migräneanfälle, sie ist erschöpft. Eine Lösung wäre, gemeinsam zurück nach München zu ziehen. Eva hadert mit der Entscheidung. Sie will ihr Versprechen halten und dann machen die deutschen Behörden den Beiden noch fast einen Strich durch die Rechnung.
