El buscador de R5

El Buscador es un microespacio que versa sobre ciencia y tecnología. En su parte tecnológica analiza cuestiones como la posible o nula influencia de las redes sociales. Y - por alusiones al oficio- escruta el modo en que internet ha cambiado el periodismo al terminar con la jerarquía de las noticias; y el mentidero en que se convierte internet cuando amplifica los chismes. En su parte científica, se centra en la neurociencia y en lo que ha dado en llamarse las raíces biológicas de la conducta. Es decir: hasta qué punto nuestra conducta está más determinada por nuestro cerebro que por el ambiente. Con el añadido de que la neurociencia es un puente entre las humanidades y la ciencia. Asimismo, siempre hay un rincón para la lingüística y las teorías que confirman el innatismo del lenguaje en el cerebro humano. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole.
