El 19 de junio de 2005, la Ciudad de México vio el nacimiento de un medio de transporte que vino a transformar la movilidad de los ciudadanos: el Metrobús, que se ha caracterizado por su sostenibilidad y compromiso con el medio ambiente.
El Metrobús está conformado por un sistema de autobuses que emulan la velocidad y capacidad del ferrocarril, ahorrando un 50% del tiempo de viaje y reduciendo, aproximadamente, un 30% de la exposición a los contaminantes del aire.
Para hablar del papel que ha jugado el Metrobús en la capital, Sergio Almazán tiene como pasajero invitado al arquitecto, Emmanuel León Martínez, director general de política urbanística de la Secretaría de Planeación, Ordenamiento Territorial y Coordinación Metropolitana de la CDMX.
