S2 E9: My First Monster Truck Show

Join me as I go to my first Monster truck rally event. I give my pre-show thoughts have some sounds from the monster trucks and then my post-show analysis of the event. 

Show Notes:

Scooby doo (female driver), grace digger, zombie, el toro loco (horns and smoke out of front) max-d, solider fortune, monster mutt (has teeth on sides), zombie (arms coming out), megaladon

- suspension is nuts, tires are like as tall as me 

- weigh 12 thousand pounds 

- full throttle it is so loud 

- wheelies with a monster truck - unbelieveable 

- Describe arena - platform in the middle, circular, dirt flying up at you and car fumes (little nervous eating popcorn)

- kids behind getting scared 

- The competition: Bracket tournament style - start with racing in a circle 

- atv racing 

- 2 wheel trick competition 

- 1v1 caged cars 

- freestyle

- love how animated and excited announcers get, announced the race results like every 2 mins lol  

- crane driving cars around 

- breaking blue cardboard boxes

Surprises:

- not about cars: but dude throwing boomerang spinner thing 

-cars go out of commission, not as durable as you would think 

- cosmetics on the cars 

- shear ability to maneuver such a big vehicles

- no cars getting smashed 

- all vehicles have to worry about tipping over 

- parts of car falling off 

- won the whole thing is Max-D, funny when they interview people 

Overall:

Big cars defying gravity, really bounce around, time stand stills when they are at the height of their jump 

- can stand on one wheel like a break dancer 

Favorite driver: Grave Digger - would just go super high, balanced on wheels, manuerved well
