Jonathan Correia (00:00):
A minisode!
welcome to Talking All's Fair,
(00:09):
the mini show where we talkabout Ryan Murphy's new
masterpiece, All's Fair. Now, ofcourse, we know in the last
episode, Kim
Waylon Jordan (00:16):
Kardashian doing
that.
Jonathan Correia (00:21):
What we're not
back it up. We're not doing
All's Fair today.
Lindsey (00:25):
We're doing talking
Titans. All's fair is tomorrow.
Oh, I
Jonathan Correia (00:29):
just really
want to talk about how Kim
Kardashian stole that embryo andforged her husband's signature.
All right. Apologies, folks.
Welcome to Talking Titans, theminisodes, where we come
together and talk BouletBrothers' Dragula Titans, I'm
your host, Jonathan Correia, andas always, I'm joined with my
friend Waylon. Jordan. Waylon, how are you today?
Waylon Jordan (00:51):
Oh, I'm great. I
am so ready to get into these
messy episodes.
Jonathan Correia (00:57):
Oh, they've
been messy. They've been messy,
but we can't get into the messyet, not without Lindsey. Gant
Lindsay, how are you today?
Lindsey (01:05):
Oh, I'm swimming in
that mess. We are deep in it. We
are just floundering around. Whoknows how to get Messier from
here? Is it possible? Is itpossible? These two episodes are
crazy.
Jonathan Correia (01:16):
This this
season. We're six episodes in,
and it has been nuts. So let'sget into a quick recap of
Episode Five, holiday ofhorrors. Episode Five saw the
contestants battling it out witha haunted holiday looks, each
one picking a different holidayas their main inspiration. So
(01:36):
the contestants battle it outwith a holiday themed
competition, each one picking adifferent holiday. We learned at
the top of the episode that LaZava Letta and Dollya Black both
went home from the previousepisode with the holiday theme.
We saw Abhora win the challenge, which was definitely something
we didn't see happening at thebeginning of the season, but
(01:57):
she's really earned her placethere. The guest judges were Don
Mancini and Jennifer Tilly ofthe Chucky franchise fame. We
also, by the end of the episode, had to say goodbye to
Disasterina and PriscillaChambers. My two of my absolute
favorites, Boo in the hellboundshowdown. Jade Jolie knocked
Dollya Black out of thecompetition, and we learned that
(02:19):
last Valetta was disqualifiedfor future hell bound showdown.
Before they left, they quicklyteased episode six, theme of the
ghost town. That's right, we'regoing back to an early season
classic with guest judges, TwinTemple the satanic do up duo we
saw in the showcase was aWestern ghost look, and they had
(02:42):
to lip sync to Twin Temple's I'mWicked, which was a lot of fun.
The Challenge winner was twopeople, Abhora again, and
Sigourney Beaver, getting herseasons first win on the bottom
two was Blackberri and CynthiaDoll, very worried for both
because they had to do anextermination challenge to see
(03:04):
who could spend the longest timein a coffin filled with snakes.
We don't know who gotexterminated. They left it up in
the air again. So we quicklywent back to the hellbound
showbound, where we learned asecond contestant was
disqualified. Jay Jon Lee is nolonger a part of the show. Don't
know what the fuck is going onwith that, but it's happening.
So the hellbound showdown wasbetween recently deceased
(03:27):
Disasterina and PriscillaChambers, with Priscilla
chambers winning and continuingon to next week. So that's the
recap. Let's jump into EpisodeFive, holiday of horrors. Well,
let's start with the drama atthe very beginning. It seems
like Cynthia, for a moment, wasor like, for a couple episodes,
forgot that she was pissed offat Blackberri, and then suddenly
(03:50):
remembered with a vengeance. Iguess is the only way to put it,
Waylon Jordan (03:53):
remembered with a
vengeance is about the only way
I think, to put it, I mean, it'slike, it's, it's literally a
switch flip, like, I'm not mad.
I'm not mad. I am the angriestperson who has ever been angry
in the history of anger. I mean, that's what we get from her when
she goes into these rants andit's just so shrill and she's
just shrieking. And I'm like,Shut up and sit down and listen,
(04:16):
which eventually somebody toldher, maybe you should try
listening for a little bit. But,you know, I mean, just like, it
really was a total crash outthere for a little while.
Jonathan Correia (04:29):
Yeah, thank
God for Jaharia to be like,
girl, you say you're listening, but you're not like, you didn't
do that at all. And even Cynthiahad a moment of like, I guess
Lindsey (04:37):
I didn't really, did I
I was proud of BlackBerri for
not backing down in thatconfrontation a little bit too.
Because if I had Cynthia yellingin my face, I'd be like, okay,
okay, okay, okay, bye. I can't Ican't handle the noise. I'm
gonna go hide in the corner, butBlackBerry is to the ground, and
you know what she was, she wasright for doing so, and I
appreciate that. But also Ireally like Cynthia quite a bit
this season, and I think thatshe when she. He talked to
(05:00):
Jaharia and realized that sheactually didn't listen, and then
eventually she would go back andapologize. I think that that's
all really good.
Jonathan Correia (05:06):
And I think
the continuation of this between
the two of them into Episode Sixin the Ghost Town, where they
kind of had a bit of a heart toheart. Cynthia apologized
sincerely, and Blackberri wasjust kind of like, I'm really
glad she apologized sincerely. Idon't trust a bitch, but I
appreciate it. And then shelocked her in the outhouse, of
course, which was, you know,Cynthia and outhouses just it's
(05:29):
a constant,
Lindsey (05:31):
beautiful.
Jonathan Correia (05:32):
How are you
guys feeling about Jaharia
trying to play both sides?
Because we see it. We saw it abit in episode four, but episode
five and six, we're seeing it alot more, where Jaharia is
making alliances and breakingthem instantly. It's like she
thinks she's on survivor.
Lindsey (05:50):
Listen, can we talk a
little bit about how they are
playing survivor when this isnot fucking survivor? Like
alliances means shit in thisgame, like it doesn't matter
what you do, like, who you workwith. Like, it doesn't matter
these alliances. So this is kindof insane. All these promises
are being broken, promises beingkept. Like, who's making these
Pinky promises and stuff? It'sjust, like, it's kind of really
(06:13):
funny.
Waylon Jordan (06:14):
I almost wonder
if it's being encouraged behind
the scenes, just a little bitlike, yeah, go make alliances.
That's a great idea, and, like, who came up, who started this?
Because, like, no, there's neverbeen alliances on this show for
fucking ever. Yeah, I
Lindsey (06:28):
will say, though, that
if they do make a Dragula
survivor season, I am all aboutit. I'm all for it. I am
bringing this podcast back. Sowhatever we can do to get that
to happen. Let's, let's makesure we encourage that, folks
and talking to you, listener, you you write to your senator
and say, We want a Dragulathemed survivor episode. Chuck
Jonathan Correia (06:49):
Schumer, make
Dragula survivor happen. Do
something with your time.
Waylon Jordan (06:55):
Let's talk about
that filth challenge for a
second. I was just about
Jonathan Correia (06:59):
to say we
finally got a filth challenge.
We
Waylon Jordan (07:01):
got a filth
challenge. And some of it was
filth, and some of it, I justkept, I kept feeling kind of
like I was back with Kate Siegelgoing, where is the filth?
Jonathan Correia (07:14):
You better not
be coming after Sigourney
because she presented pussyjuice on
Waylon Jordan (07:18):
stage. I will, I
will give her that. That was a
bold move. I
Jonathan Correia (07:23):
mean, throw
back to season one, where we had
somebody as a nun masturbatingon stage. It wasn't quite as
filth or shocking as that, but,I mean, as it's been done since
then. So, you know, hats off onthat one. I think
Lindsey (07:37):
Waylon. Who do you
think had the most fillth for
the brought the
Waylon Jordan (07:39):
challenge? Okay,
well, I did, I will say I did
love Jay Kay's Mardi Gras lookwith the vomiting. Back face,
what? Yeah, back face, whateveryou want to call it. That was
kind of fun, not really filth, but I did love that look, and I
love what they were doing withit. It was not as filthy as it
could have been. I mean, ifyou're going to vomit on stage,
(08:02):
blow chunks, that's what I'msaying. I mean, if you're just
going to put a bunch of liquidout there, it's not going to do
it for you. But, you know, I didkind of like what BlackBerry was
doing with the giant turkey andall the nasty food and
everything. It was a real shamethat her whole costume fell
apart by the end of it. Oh
Jonathan Correia (08:20):
man, that the
whole nothing waist down. I
think she was wearing shoesstuck, but Right, whole waist
down thing, and it's like you'renot gonna do anything waist
down, make sure that fuckingtable is sturdy
Waylon Jordan (08:31):
Exactly. Oh,
exactly. Because, yeah, that
thing falling apart. Not a greatlook for her. And did not help
her coming into the sixthepisode either, when she had yet
another wardrobe problem.
Jonathan Correia (08:43):
Yeah, it's,
it's an ongoing issue, which I
gotta say, I don't know ifthere's ever been a more vacuum
of personality in the cauldronthan in this episode, because
now that Zav and Dolly are outof out of the cauldron. Episode
Five, cauldron was just passive.
It was very like low energy, like everyone was just kind of
like, yeah,
Waylon Jordan (09:05):
it was kind of
like they were tired, but also
they didn't have the shitstirrers. So it's not like, it
was almost like they weresitting there trying to figure
out, what should we be yellingabout right now? Because, like,
the people that we want to yellat aren't here anymore.
Jonathan Correia (09:21):
And you couple
that with like, two favorites of
everybody. Everyone lovesDisasterina and Priscilla. Like
everyone talks about how muchthey just bring great vibes and
great energy to the room, to theto the competition and and so
when you have, like, the twoshit stirrers gone, and you have
the two favorites up forextermination, it can, yeah, it
was a funeral in there, dude, everyone's so quiet and passive.
Waylon Jordan (09:43):
Yeah, just let me
sit here and drink my drink, and
don't talk to me, and let mejust be in my feelings for a
little bit. That's really whatwe were getting in the culprit
in this time around,
Jonathan Correia (09:53):
yeah, how
shocked or gagged were you guys
when both Disasterina andPriscilla dropped back into the
abyss.
Lindsey (10:03):
I was shocked, but not
nearly as shocked as Eva, high
pitched crying or even Abhora. Iwas shocked at Abhora falling to
the ground and like starting tocry as well. I was like, what is
happening right now?
Waylon Jordan (10:18):
What did Eva say?
It's episode five, so you'regoing to see me cry. That's just
how it goes. Has she cried inepisode five of every season
that she's been on? Because youshould really go back and look
at that some point.
Jonathan Correia (10:30):
Well, as
Sigourney Beaver said earlier in
the episode, Eva's got a lot offeelings. She does, and it's
true, and it comes back a lot, which is, again, it's just so
funny, because, like, sometimes, like, she just comes, I love Eva
to death, but she's such a nerd.
She's such a dork. That's partof the reason why we do love
(10:50):
her, like the whole thing inEpisode Six, where she's like,
Fuck your track record. Yourtrack record doesn't mean shit,
fuck your track record and fuckyou do the work. And she's like,
Okay, thank you.
Lindsey (11:07):
I love her and I hate
her. She's just such a mess.
Waylon Jordan (11:12):
She really is,
and really one of the hairiest
queens that we ever see on oneof these shows. Say it louder.
It never ceases to amaze me,though, because, like, I'll
forget, because she'll be allcovered up. And then she comes
walking in with her littlemidriff showing and that trail
(11:32):
going down the front of herstomach. And I'm like, oh yeah,
this bitch is hairy as fuckWaylon.
Lindsey (11:38):
And I just do the whole
rolling our lower jaw back up
into our mouth.
Waylon Jordan (11:42):
Well, yes, there
is that. But
Jonathan Correia (11:44):
anyway, I'm
happy for the representation for
the fellow Harry's out there. Sowe found out La Zava Leta was
disqualified, and she did onsocial media that she was going
to release a video on and shereleased one on Monday. It's a
20 minute video where she talksabout everything but being
(12:08):
disqualified, which is amazing.
I love her for it. We weregenuinely glued to the TV. I
felt like I was, like, waitingfor the presidential results or
some shit, because, like, juston this edge of my seat, and
then she goes like, Well, thereason why I got disqualified.
And then just like, fastforwards, it was brilliant, but
I don't think we'll ever findout Jay Jolie did a similar
(12:29):
thing, not quite as dramatic ordrawn out, but she did release a
statement saying, I'm not gonnasay why. Just know that chapter
is closed. And then she posted abunch of photos of her and her
partner eating at Waffle Houseor some shit.
Lindsey (12:43):
I will say, though,
that the Zav video, I really
enjoyed the video, and I wantedto make it clear that she didn't
just do it just to troll peoplelike she had some really good
points in there that were made.
What one is that she reallycan't say anything period about
it, because she's in a contract.
And two, she said, just becauseeveryone's trying to say it's
because of the ketamine, likeit's she said, It's not that, so
(13:07):
we want to take that for herword, she said. So she said, she
said, nothing to do with drugs.
And then she also was sayingthat she went on this whole
tangent about making that herfamily came to this country
breaking the rules, butsometimes you have to break the
rules in order to make a betterlife for yourself. And so I
think there's a little bit ofthing there in which maybe she
disagree with the rules, andthat's why she did it. So I
think that those things wereclarified in there. I think she
(13:29):
actually said a lot of goodstuff in that video without
actually saying the thing thatpeople are actually
Jonathan Correia (13:36):
looking for,
which is, yeah, she used the
moment that she had where peoplewere like looking at her to say
a lot of things, and I really doappreciate that in the moment I
did not like being teased thathard. But, you know, that's
okay. We wish her nothing butlove and prosperity. That being
(13:56):
said, we need to go back to theghost town. Guys.
Waylon Jordan (14:02):
Was fun. I mean,
it was just fun. And they gave
us so much of their interactionswhen we got there, like it gave
us such a long time to just letthem sit and talk and do and get
be around one another and stuff.
And I feel like we've beenmissing that up till this point
in the season. And I don't knowif it's that they've finally
eliminated enough people that, like, we can actually spend some
(14:23):
time with sort of everybody, orwhat, it was really cool to just
see them kind of sit around andshoot the shit while they were
Jonathan Correia (14:31):
doing this.
And the amount of ADHD amongstthe cast is insane. Like,
immediately they're like, there's a pig. We got to go find
the pig. What's up with thosedonkeys? Why are you scared of
donkeys, especially miniatureJay Kay, that does leave the
donkeys alone.
Lindsey (14:46):
Okay, my favorite part
of that scene was Sigourney just
decking out her teeth into thenastiest like, just paint job.
She didn't even look in themirror. She just, like, did it
and she. Just like that the restof the time. Just like talking,
it was amazing. I loved it somuch. Yeah, probably my best
Sigourney moment in the seasonso far. It's so good.
Waylon Jordan (15:09):
And I was really
into their looks, too. I mean,
all of them had really funlooks. I mean, there were some
issues. Not everybody was up tosnuff, but like, they all seem
to really be having a good timewith it, and I love the
performance, that performance isjust a lot of fun.
Jonathan Correia (15:25):
And I'm, I'm
so glad that they showed so much
of the performance, becauseisn't that always the complaint
we have is that we're not seeingenough of the performance. We're
not seeing, yeah, enough of thelooks. And like, we spent a lot
of time with it, and I and Iloved it, because we got to see
not only people like highpoints, but we got to see some
low points too. So we got tosee, you know, Blackberry is
(15:46):
awesome, revealing of the eyepatch of the eye moment, which
was great. But then you also sawthat, like everyone else is
moving around, giving this bigenergy, and she's still just
sitting there on the chair, andit's like, get the fuck up,
mother. Like, come on, girl, youfight for your life here,
Lindsey (16:01):
I love that location,
that whatever building they were
in, be able to film in, that thecolor scheme, it was really
cool. So even if they felt likethey had to be stuck in a
certain place, like, I mean,Sigourney was able to get up and
move around and do a bunch ofstuff. And so I think that the
space shouldn't have been toolimiting. And I think people let
that be a bit of a limitingfactor. Even Eva, she kind of
just, like, stayed put. She hada lot of face, but she really
(16:24):
didn't move very much in thatlocation. Yeah.
Jonathan Correia (16:26):
Could see,
like, how they were kind of
commanding the camera with whatthey were doing. Because, I
mean, Jay Kay, stole the lastmoment of it, I think, from
everyone else, by swapping ontothe floor, which is fantastic
for her.
Lindsey (16:40):
I love Jay Kay's
outfit. I loved it so much. I
thought that it was a really, really cool look. And also love
how Jay Kay did the little bitwith Abhora, where the silent
film from the sheriff and, yeah,it was amazing. I thought that
was so fun. So it's cool thatthey wanted to work together for
that part of it. They didn'twant to be totally separate.
Jonathan Correia (17:00):
I was really
worried when Abhora said she was
doing a counterpart to herprevious Ghost Town look of the
bank robber and that she wasgoing to do the sheriff. But she
really fucking elevated thattype of design, and I loved or
her silly Symphony sheriff.
Waylon Jordan (17:17):
I'm telling you
this, this drag queen heard me
talk about her in our firstepisode has been trying to prove
me wrong ever since we starteddoing this. But geez, she's so
good. I mean, she's really beentuned in this season,
Jonathan Correia (17:32):
and she's
calmed down on like, a lot of
the very like, over the toptheater manic, theater kid Ness
that would like, drive me insaneduring the cauldron bits like
she's actually fun outside ofdrag as well these last couple
episodes. So I do she keeps thisup, she might turn into a
favorite of the season. To behonest,
Lindsey (17:51):
I turned to Jon, and I
was like, dare I say that Abhora
is looking hot this episode.
Waylon Jordan (17:58):
Okay. Well, if
we're going to talk hot this
episode, I do have to give mythirsty moment and, Jay Kay, in
the overalls and no shirt andjust kind of hanging out with
everybody. I was like, oh, Ineed a fan, because this is
doing something, you know. Youcome from the country, you see
somebody dressed like that. Itjust does something to you, you
know.
Lindsey (18:20):
Jay Kay, of all people
that boys grown up, yeah,
Jonathan Correia (18:25):
since their
last season, oh yeah, they've
grown
Lindsey (18:27):
up 100% when their
first season, they were known
as, like, the, I don't know theindie kid. I don't know the
person who they had to scrape bywith, like, very little. What
would they call? Them poor,
Jonathan Correia (18:39):
poor peasant.
Lindsey (18:43):
He was great and bad
with what he had, but now maybe
he has money, I don't know.
Lord, he has some sort ofsponsor that's allowing him to
actually have funds for makinghis costumes this year. You
know, he still he's he still hashis DIY esthetic. He still has
that his costume. Oh, yeah, verylot more polished than what he
first presented to us,
Waylon Jordan (19:04):
yeah. And it's,
yeah, and I think that comes
with the growth too, also himjust kind of like figuring out
how to make it work like youlike, you know, first, and it's,
it's a lot the same, like whenyou're writing and stuff, you
know, you spend forever lookingfor that voice that says, this
is, I wrote something that youknow, and everybody knows that
I'm the guy that wrote it whenthey read it. Yeah, it's the
(19:26):
same thing with drag. It's thesame thing with any kind of art.
And I think, you know, it was amatter of finding the voice and
then figuring out how to own it.
And that seems to be a lot ofwhat we're seeing with a lot of
people in this season.
Jonathan Correia (19:39):
Yeah, well.
Jay Kay, especially theirseason, they came off very
little annoying brother energy.
And it's almost like when you doencounter that little brother
later in life, and, like, theywent off to college and stuff,
and it's like, Wait, you're afucking adult now. Like, yeah,
what? Like, they still havetheir little moments where it
reminds you of, like, at Thereyou are. Um. But there's,
(20:01):
there's definitely a maturity tonot only their art, but their
personality and how they'rehandling themselves, but they're
still not afraid to, like, getin the muck. I mean, they keep
picking fights with SigourneyBeaver for some fucking reason.
Now, of course, we had our twowinners of Sigourney Beaver and
Abhora well earned. I mean, itwas a lip syncing performance,
glam challenge. Of course,Sigourney was gonna kill it, and
(20:21):
Abhora's look was phenomenal.
Lindsey (20:23):
When they said that
Abhora knew the lyrics, so
that's all I could focus on. Waswatching her during the
performance. It's like not justthat she wouldn't know the
lyrics, but she knew them sowell that she had so much
energy, but she was there forit.
Jonathan Correia (20:36):
Well, it's
also a very sultry song, how it
sung and and it's, it's lyricsand everything. It's sultry.
That's not Abhori's usual bag.
That's also not what that lookwas. But the second she threw
the baby out and like, the bitswere done, and she was like,
doing the like, going in withthe camera and stuff, it was
just like, that's when we turnedto each other. We're like, is
Abhora hot this episode? What'sgoing on? Now, the two on the
(20:57):
bottom, though, had one majorthing in common, and that is
malfunctions. We had CynthiaDoll and Blackberri at the
bottom this week, and theirelimination challenge is to be
in a coffin with a bunch ofsnakes, which I fucking lost it
when Cynthia started singingBritney Spears, I'm a slave for
(21:17):
you. Like that was,
Waylon Jordan (21:21):
that was perfect.
Okay, well, I would beeliminated before we even got
started, because I am completelyphobic of snakes. So that would
not have happened. Like, you'renot gonna put me in a coffin. I
don't care. $100,000 is notenough, but
you're a country boy Waylon, yeah, yes, there are snakes in
the country, and I activelyavoided them. I have pulled off
(21:42):
feats of superhuman strength andagility when one of those
suckers has come up. Yeah, no, II admire them both for lying
there and letting them pack allthose snakes on top of them,
because I could not have doneit. And then when they shut the
lid, I was like, I would havedied. I would have died and they
(22:02):
I would have won that challengebecause I couldn't have gotten
out, because I would have beendead inside the cough. So Well,
Jonathan Correia (22:12):
for the
underground showdown, we had
Priscilla Chambers versusDisasterina due to two
disqualifications. And I reallyappreciate that they gave
Disasterina a moment to talkafter because girl did not know
the lyrics at all and was verylost and just kept jumping over
(22:36):
the fire pit
Lindsey (22:38):
was waiting for her of
skirts to catch fire. I
Jonathan Correia (22:41):
think she was
too.
Waylon Jordan (22:42):
Do you think she
really didn't know it, or do you
think that she kind of threw itbecause she is so thorough in
everything that she does, evenif she's not getting a lot of
camera time? And it just felt,it looked, to me, like she was
not even trying to mount thelyrics. And I I just kept
thinking, Did she see Priscilla?
And think, no, she needs to goon. And, I mean, you know, this
(23:06):
is my moment where I onegeneration step aside, let
another wouldn't come up, thatkind of thing. I don't know. It
just seemed like she might nothave really been in it, and
maybe intentionally not in itwhile I was watching, and we'll
never know, probably, but that'sjust how it kind of played to
me. Yeah, I think
Lindsey (23:28):
we might have seen her
love a little bit, and then I
don't know if she just they lostall kind of mental energy in
order to can't keep up thatfight at that point. I feel like
I kind of saw that happen. Shecame up with an energy she like,
broke all the bottles and hersnake oil sign, and she broke
the chair. And I was like, hellyeah, bring it on. And then I
think she may have seen how thiswas Priscilla's song. This was
(23:50):
exactly made for her to kind offlaunt her energy here, and then
just didn't have anything elseto present after that. I don't
know, but Priscilla killed itlike that. She was absolutely
incredible, like, so sexy, moving around in that outfit.
And then they both had a momentthere. And I was like, hell
yeah, this is a great scene.
Disasterina can use Priscilla'senergy to kind of pull through,
and then she kind of fell offagain. So wait,
Jonathan Correia (24:13):
I think you're
brushing over the scene when
they start grinding on eachother and are on the ground just
like, right Priscilla waswrithing on top of disasterina,
and it was just like, wow, everyone's everyone's so hot
today. It was a bit sad to seeDisasterina Just kind of go out
(24:34):
like that. I That's why I reallyappreciated the Boulets
allowing, a lot like did theinterview, because we haven't
done that with the previousshowdowns. And just having
disaster and being like, Ididn't have enough time to
remember the lyrics. But youknow what, even when I lose, I'm
a winner, because I'mDisasterina, and it's like,
yeah, you are. She's gonna keepgoing. She's gonna keep being a
fucking mess, and we're gonnakeep loving her, but excited
(24:55):
that we get to see morePriscilla at least
Waylon Jordan (24:57):
well, you know?
And really, Disasterina. Has, inher own way, kind of earned her
place as being one of the dragmonster grand dams. I mean,
she's been at this a long time,so, you know, just kind of
letting her, sort of, you know, step up into that place. It is a
good place for her to be, Ithink.
Jonathan Correia (25:15):
So I need to
ask you guys a question, because
we there's something that's beengoing on that we haven't quite
addressed the opening sceneswhere the boulets do their
introduction recap. Theyintroduced a sidekick. This,
this talking fur rug. What'syour opinions on it?
Waylon Jordan (25:34):
I think somebody
seen one too many episodes of
the Adams family and themonsters. But I don't hate it
like it is very camp. It is avery Paul Lind Halloween
special. And enjoy it.
Jonathan Correia (25:45):
Girl, you
know, I love, I love the fucking
Paul Lind Halloween special.
It's so fucking good. I love
Lindsey (25:54):
it. I think it's great.
Jonathan Correia (25:55):
It's fun. I
loved the addition of this
little sidekick character. Yousay they watch too many Adams
family, I don't think that'spossible. It's fun. It's camp.
It's bringing back, like whatthey said in their interviews
about Rocky Horror, about alwaysmaking it, making sure it's fun.
And I do think that, like in avery emotionally charged season,
I know we always contextualizeit as drama, but there's a lot
(26:18):
of shit going on in people'slives, and it's very emotionally
charged. So balancing out thatthat with a bit of camp, with a
bit of with a lot of fun, Ithink, is is healthy and helps
with keep the roller coaster go.
Now, who do you think is notcoming back for Episode Seven?
Lindsey (26:38):
I have a feeling that
it BlackBerri this week. Dare I
say it? I feel like there's justbeen too many complications with
their outfits, maybe not toomany successful ideas pulling
together. And what I've lookedI've been seeing, I think I've
loved more so what I've beenseeing with Cynthia, and I think
the blades even said thatthey're seeing a side of Cynthia
(26:58):
that they haven't seen before, and they don't know what to
expect necessarily anymore, in agood way in which they also said
that BlackBerri is not meetingtheir expectations for where
they thought that she would beat this point in the
competition. And so taking thatinto account, plus my experience
in terms of what outfits I'veloved and who have been loving
most on the show, I think thatat least I'm hoping that
(27:20):
Cynthia's when returning,
Waylon Jordan (27:21):
yeah, I think, I
think the last two episodes with
Blackberri having technicalissues while she's out on stage
and performing and doing onething and another, I think it's
really working against her. Andlike they said, you know, at
this stage in the game, theyhave to nitpick. They have to
really get down to the nittygritty. And if you know, if you
are repeatedly having the samesort of issues, then, yeah, I
(27:45):
think you're, I think your headgets on the chopping block much
faster. It is a shame, because Ithink she's got so much talent,
and she's one of my Texas girls, and, you know, I really want her
to keep going, but yeah, Ithink, I think it's coming down
to it. And I think that she'sgoing to be out, and we're going
to be back with Cynthia, eventhough her prosthetic was
(28:06):
actually about to come off ofher head.
Lindsey (28:08):
I think the thing with
Cynthia was that her costume was
falling apart, but it was aresult of her taking a risk more
so than she's ever done before, like I've never seen that kind
of look from her before, and Ithink that's exciting for me to
see that she's trying new thingsand trying to sip out of her
box. Are
Jonathan Correia (28:25):
you talking
about those eyebrows? Yeah,
Lindsey (28:27):
eyebrows specifically
are out of the box. The whole
like, non makeup, makeup look. Ithink that that's something that
she's definitely she'sdefinitely not glam the way
she's normally doing, and shelooks a lot more mask in that
than I've ever seen, a percenteither. And so I think it's a
little bit more of that. Of thatthat I'm happy to see. And
Blackberry, while seeing how asimilar kind of wardrobe
(28:47):
malfunction, it was a lot ofwhat I've already seen from her.
And I'm not sure that I wouldn'tdo anything different
necessarily in
Jonathan Correia (28:53):
the future. I
mean, it's, it's it's really
hard. Early in a season, you cansay, oh, I can see this person
not making it to top five. I cansee this person. They're not
going to make it to this. All ofthese contestants, I can see
getting there, getting to thattop three spot. So it really is
a week to week thing. And Ithink BlackBerri had too many
notes against her. I think bothwent into the extermination
(29:16):
challenge and went hard with it.
I think Cynthia, doing theBritney Spears thing, probably
helped her out a bit more withit, but I not happy to see
BlackBerry go. If that's thecase. I've mentioned it before
on this show that I love her todeath, and I was really excited
when she got her win a coupleepisodes ago, but it's a
competition, dude, someone's gotto go.
