Speaker 1 (00:21):
Greene Societations. Everyone at Church Wilson, Welcome to Fantasy Baseball
Live are Just Prospect Podcast. Today is the thirty first
of August, about one thirty in the afternoon, about an
hour and a half before Tim and I do our podcast.
I am putting this together ahead of time. This will
be published on the seventh of September, the next Sunday,

(00:47):
so week from today, because I'll be traveling on vacation.
And this is our final cut of our top one
hundred prospects in baseball. If you want all five hundred
of them, they will be published on for our Patreon members.
And just a note to our Patreon members. I've got
to five and I got to four hundred and eighty two,

(01:10):
so I wrote up profiles of four hundred and eighty
two of the five hundreds. I didn't get the eighteen
of eighteen of them. They're kind of in the obviously
in the back of the five hundred. I just didn't
get to them. I've been working my way through the
top twenties and I've gotten I did the Central, all
the East except for the Toronto Blue Jays because I

(01:31):
substituted in the Seattle Mariners for the so I've done
twenty out of the thirty, but the Seattle Mayners had
so many of the top hundred prospects, I felt like
I wanted to do a thorough analysis of all of
those players just to make sure there wasn't any creepy
Crawley thing in there that would cause me to downgrade

(01:51):
some of their of their rankings. So that's how I did.
It's again last cut of the top one hundred, the
top five hundred before the end of the season. Then
all of the top twenties will come out, and then
once they're done, probably at the end of the calendar year,
I will put out a new revision of the top
five hundred for everybody as they're going through their first

(02:14):
year player drafts and if they join in a new
dynasty leagues or just having the information available for trades,
et cetera. And also in this list, I've got fifty
eight of fifty eight rank Fifty eight of the twenty

(02:34):
twenty five draftees are included in this list as well,
so that's a pretty good list. So that I will
include some other guys that didn't make the top five
hundred that'll be hopefully maybe seventy five. Maybe we'll get
to seventy five, not sure. So like I still got
another twenty three to go to get to seventy five.

(02:56):
I'm not exactly sure how many I've actually written up
that I can in there. But my goal was one hundred,
but there's just not I just can't get there. It's,
you know, I don't know if there's one hundred guys
that you could draft in a first year player draft
that I know enough about that I feel confident that
I would be drafting these. But I think if I
can get it to seventy seventy five, including some guys

(03:18):
that'll be included in the twenty twenty six international draft class,
I think that'll really good for first year player drafts.
But that's a project for this fall, so I'll be
working on that. So that's a note to our Patreon
members who are also included on this one podcast because
I'm doing it all together. But if you're not a

(03:40):
member and you want all that stuff and a lot more,
join us out at the patreons ipatreo n dot com.
Forward Slash Prospect three sixty one. Not only do you
get all this prospect work that we're going to talk
about today and even the deeper stuff for deeper dynasty leagues.
You get a lot of baseball savent breakdown throughout the
season from me. You get Tim, who is out with

(04:05):
our discord site. A lot of people use that Discord's
like good opportunity to talk to other fantasy baseball guys
out in that list. Then you have access to me,
you have access to Tim, and you also get our
podcasts at free. You get it six hours five hours
earlier than everybody else does, so that you know, if

(04:27):
you want to put waiver claims in for the weekend,
you've got that available four o'clock or so on the
probably more like four thirty five o'clock in the afternoon
on Sunday, because Tim and I record at three, usually
done by four thirty fifteen twenty minutes for me to
edit it and put it up. So that's what you
get for being a Patreon memory. Let's get into the

(04:49):
details here. So I'm just going to go through my
spreadsheet have for again for our non Patreon members, have
a huge spreadsheet with all this stuff in there, so
you can sort it all kinds different ways. You can
actually use it if fan tracks allows you to put
load those lists up in there for rankings, and I
do that all the time and actually create list for

(05:12):
better fan track fan tracks ready for our Patreon members,
and I'll do that again, or you can do it yourself.
I've had a couple of people joined just to get
the list and Excel formats that they can kind of
kind of use it and do it. So they do
their own rankings and mix it together with other stuff.
And I give you the raw data with all of

(05:33):
that top on our list getting really, really really young,
I'm going to go from one hundred to one, but
I am going to tell you who the number one
prospect in the game is, And it's kind of Griffin.
He went to mac Clark a month ago, was at
the top of the list, but it's now kind of Griffin.

(05:54):
He's now in double A. Yeah, he's striking out a
little bit more. It's still very early. A couple of
home run on Friday night, a seven or eight more
stolen basis. I mean, the tools are outrageous. Yeah, I
don't know if he's going to hit as well as
he's done so far this season, but I mean, you're
you're looking at a guy Fernando tatist Junior. I don't

(06:16):
think it's Ronald Acuna type of level, but it's twenty twenty,
twenty five, twenty five type of a player who I
think is going to hit enough to get to it.
I think he's proven that kind of gets a little
bit more complicated and harder and double a but so
far early going striking out a little bit more, but
we're not talking a forty percent strikeout, right. So I
was originally copying him to Neil Cruz and crazy skills,

(06:40):
lots of swing and missing his game. But Neil Cruz
good player, Max. Guess what, Connor Griffin is going to
be better. This is a dude. And when you're looking
at Paul Skeans, I think Bulba Chandler's going to eventually
be a major part of that rotation. They get Jared
Jones back, and then you've got guys at kind of

(07:01):
Griffin that are gonna be up next season. It's just
gonna happen, and maybe Edward Florentine coming up a couple
of years after that. You know there's something going on
in Pittsburgh. Can they can it all come together before
Paul Skins makes you know, a billion dollars in free agency.
They probably won't get a billion dollars. This is gonna

(07:23):
be an obscene amount of money, and he's not gonna
stay at Pittsburgh, so they're gonna they've got him for
So this is the second year. They've got him for
another four years, really another three years before they have
to decide on what to do with Paul Skans. Does
kind of Griffin come up and be able to anchor
that offense enough so that they can try to at

(07:43):
least make the playoffs. Why Paul Skeens is there. I
think it's gonna be a little tricky to do it
all because you figure Paul Skeens is gonna get hurt
one of those years in there as well. I don't
want to be you know, Debbie Downer here, but that
just happens with these guys. But kind of Griffin's a dude,
a really really good baseball player, really really tooled up.

(08:04):
So he's number one overall obviously the offensive player of
the season. The pitcher of the year is pretty easy.
It's Jonah Thong. So that podcast and post and work,
I'm gonna it's gonna be easy. And those are the
two guys I mean, it's Jonahtong. We saw what he
did on Friday night. Fantastic in the major leagues. He's
been the best pitcher in the minor leagues all season long. Yeah.

(08:27):
Do I wish he had a better curveball and slide
or slider. It's gonna be a curveball because of his
arm angle. Yeah, but he doesn't have it. But he's
still been dominant. I thought Peyton Totley was better on
Friday night, but Jonahtong was really good as well. So
he's our minor league player of the year. Anyway, let's
get to the list down here. Let's go down to

(08:47):
one hundred one under's Ricky Tieterman. I keep looking for
a stat line with him. I know he's been throwing.
He had Tommy John surgery. I wanted to keep him
kind of close to that top one hundred so everybody
didn't forget about him. But obviously we need to see
what he can do when he comes back from Andrew.
But it's a great arm. Tommy Troy at third basement

(09:08):
with you Arizona Diamondbacks coming at ninety nine. There's a
lot here. He's changed a swing a little bit to
ad some home run power, So that's good to see
zach Vin coming in at ninety eight. I'm surprised he
hasn't seen time back up in the major leagues. I
think he's better than what he showed has really been.
His biggest problem is just staying healthy. There's a lot

(09:29):
of guys in this list that just cannot stay healthy,
and Zach Vine has been one of those. But hopefully
he'll get a chance here at the end of the season.
Back up in Colorado. Ninety seven is well been Francesca,
who's had a tough season, still making great contact as
a kid who's never hit under three hundred at any
one level. And guess what that is going to be

(09:51):
broken the season because the last I looked, he was
hitting thirty to forty something like that two twenty nine.
It was even worse than that two twenty nine. But look,
it's a it's a seventeen percent strikeout rate, a twelve
percent walk rate, forty five stolen bases, and it's been

(10:13):
a two seventy three babbit, so before it was a
three ninety five babbot in the DSL, a three point
fifty seven babbit and Complex League low way last season
of four to sixteen babbit. So his babbit corrected and
so did his batting average. He doesn't hit the ball
all that hard, but I think it's enough for eight
to ten home runs and a lot of speed and
a guy that's just going to get on base a ton.

(10:35):
It's a really good baseball player. In ninety seven might
even be a little low, but that's where he that's
you know, where things kind of came out for him.
Ninety six is Winston Santos. I guess he is the
number one pitching prospect now in Texas. Fastball, heavy arsenal,
excellent control, good player. Unfortunately, the guy that I really

(10:58):
liked is just went down for Tommy John surgery, which
was a real bummer in that organization. He was the
I had him as the number one pitching prospect, and
that was Alejando Rosario, who's now closer to two hundred.
I got him down at one ninety eight. But Winston
Santos now is the number one pitching prospect for your

(11:20):
Texas Rangers. And it's good to see Jack Lighter really
having a much better season after just going through lots
of struggle. Good New Jersey kid, a son of a
former Major League Baseball player and Coomber Rocker has been terrible,
So at least I got one out of two right there.

(11:40):
I still think Kumber Rocker is going to be okay.
Coming in number ninety five is Kyle Labarge, Kansas City
Royal shortstop really moving off from one twenty nine, makes
excellent contact, seventy great speed, He's only five foot nine.
It's probably going to be more doubles and home run
pop there. I think one of the things that you're
going to find out is I don't know if I'm

(12:02):
changing my philosophy a little bit, but I'm starting to
give a little bit more grace I don't know if
that's the right word, but a little bit more patience
with guys that hit the ball really hard in her
home run hitters that as opposed to and who might
strike out a lot. So I'm actually pumping three true

(12:24):
outcome guys up the list a little bit more, just
because I've become a believer that it's about how hard
you hit the ball, and hard you hit the ball
is driving your babbitt, which drives your batting average, et cetera,
et cetera, et cetera. So you're going to start to
see some of the guys, even Spencer Jones, a little
higher in this list than where I had him at

(12:46):
my last cut. And it's just come to that realization
that hitting the ball hard is very, very important. I
think Spencer Jones will strike out a lot and it's
going to be a two thirty hitter as long as
you know that. Look at Kyle Schwerber, I mean, oh
my gosh, that guy is one of the best players
in baseball, and he hits the ball really hard. He

(13:06):
hits a lot of home runs. Kyle Riley the same thing.
Sometimes it doesn't work. I mean we saw that with
the Christmas Tree in Cleveland. I mean sometimes it's you know,
it's such an extreme amount of swing and missing this
game that they don't make it. But I think the
guys that have big power. Lazarro Montes is another one
that you're going to see pretty high on this list.
So I've started to tweak my thought process here as

(13:30):
we kind of go through this. I don't know why
I brought that up at Kyle Debars, but because he
was small one of my favorite guys in base in
baseball now just because I love his name Wuihiwa Alloy.
I think he has already made a couple of daily notes,
might even made a hot Prospect of the week. I
think there's good power there, solid eggs at velocities. You know,

(13:52):
maybe a little bit more strikeouts than you like. But
I think I think that Baltimore Orioles draft was exceptional
and to get Alloy where they were to get him,
I think was really great. River Ryan should be back
sometime next season. I would think it's probably May June.
He looked fantastic for he went down with Tommy John surgery.
Did not want to lose lose him in the list,

(14:13):
just wanted to make sure that he was in that
eighty to one hundred and twenty range. And we've got
him at ninety three. Chase the Latter, I could be
come completely out the launch here he was at fifty
eight the last cuts down the ninety two. I mean,
this guy just can't stay healthy. And maybe it's Royce
Lewis all over again. Tons of tools and also Royce

(14:36):
Lewis now is starting to play very well. But Royce
Lewis can't stay healthy. And maybe it is just the
fact that Chase the Lauder is just not meant to
stay healthy, and maybe that's just going to be the
way it is. Jay r Ritchie's had a really good season,
got him at number ninety one, up from one oh
three Double A now in triple A. So he's run
on the precipice to make in his major league debut.

(15:00):
Pitch your solid number three starter. I don't think he's
going to pitch at the top of the rotation. My
good friend Bob king Hi's a big fan of Ja
R Richie as well, but got him at number ninety one.
That sitting at number ninety is Johnny Fermelo talking about
a guy can't stay healthy. Hurt his knee last July,

(15:22):
was out for most of the season. I think it
was actually last June, so out for most of the season.
It was an ACL tear. So he comes back in
late April, plays really well for two or three weeks,
and then all of a sudden he has a stress
reaction and a rib in his ribcage because of an
overswing that he had, and then missed two and a

(15:42):
half months of the season. He's finally back, but another
guy's really tooled up. Their's speed. There's power, particularly lots
of speed, enough power to probably get fifteen home runs.
He probably, based on his town alone, should be higher
on this list. But I mean at some point you
got a dean guys because they can't stay healthy, and
until he does, you know, it's a problem. Kind of

(16:04):
Number ninety excuse me. Eighty nine would be Emmanuel Rodriguez
with the Minnesota Twins. Has really been dropping on this
list from last season, partly because he can't stay healthy,
partly because the strikeout raid is just through the roof.
I mean, there's definitely power there. It's good speed too,
at least early in his career. But he's one of
those guys I really worry about if he's going to

(16:25):
hit enough to make it because it's pretty obscene strikeout reading.
The same thing is true with number eighty eight and
Xavier Isaac. He's had a really tough season as well.
Also another guy that's been injured quite a bit. But
there's big boy power there. He's been hurt so much.
We haven't seen the power that he showed last season.
I'm calling BS on the power. I do not see

(16:46):
that long term as a guy that's going to be
a stolen based right. He got in a good shape
of last season, and yes, stole some bases, but I'm
not going to go to Las Vegas spind the wheel
and say, yeah, uh, Xavier Isaac is going to steal
fifteen to twenty bases a year. Not going to do that.
I think he's a he's a He's a guy that

(17:08):
got in good shape, but his body type is one
that it's gonna be hard for him to stay in shape.
You just you see huge weight fluctuations there. But he's
one of the better first base prospects in the game.
I think there's thirty maybe forty home run pop there.
It's going to come with a low batting average, but

(17:28):
I think it's there. We just he's got to stay
healthy and we might see him some point next season.
He also got to I mean Tampa. I mean, they've
got some guys that are coming up. It's funny because
obviously Junior cameran Aaro is a superstar, right, He's going
to hit forty five home runs this season, maybe even fifty.
I mean, who knows, who knows how many home runs
you can hit in the future. Carson Williams is a

(17:50):
you know, five to guy, four tool guy, can't hit
Xavier Isaac is an interesting guy. Can't hit as well
uh Junior Kim and Eric hit but he never walks.
So it's funny how the Tampa Bay Rays have gone
to this model of more toolsy guys. Obviously Carson Williams
being the epitome of toolsy speed and power, but I

(18:13):
mean cam and Aarra's got incredible power. We saw Chandler
Simpson incredible speed. But they have gotten away from guys
that almost like the Curtis Means of the world, who
are good hitters but have marginal speed, power type stuff.
And I think we've seen that reflected in the team

(18:34):
that they're trying to create. Is it going to work,
I don't know, because it's definitely away from the model
that they've they've lived with for years and years and years.
Johanni Lovell comes in at number eighty seven to one
of the better young prospects in the game, just to
controls the strike zone well, plus Speed's got emerging power
like Johnny level a lot. Cole Carrick has really had

(18:58):
a tough season this year, got to double a first.
Of all. In Colorado, we see these great hitters ballparks
all throughout the Minor leagues, and all of a sudden
you get to double A where it's much more of
a it's a more of a pitchers league, except for Redding,
which is the Philadelphia Phillies Double A Aphilly. But all
the other parks are pretty big fields. They're not you know,

(19:22):
environmentally hit or friendly, so there's no high deserts or
you're not elevated up and you know, from a mountain
range or anything like that, so they're they're definitely picture
sparks as opposed to hitter sparks. And the Rockies guys
get there and all of a sudden you get the
Cole Krrick type of season where it's and I saw
some play three games a couple of weeks ago with

(19:44):
the yard Goats. One of the best names in all
the minor leagues, kind of came in to see the
Somerset Patriots, and he was very good. Didn't make very
hard contact these fast That is for sure a good
outfielder as well. I'm not buying the power as twenty
plus home run pop. Maybe it's more like fifteen home
run twelve to fifteen. He'll get he'll get an advantage

(20:04):
because he's going to be playing in Colorado, but I
think he's more of a Colorado May type of player
as opposed to a really great player, if you know
what I mean. There, let's take a quick break at
the twenty minute mark. I need to pick up the
pace a little bit. Coming to a number eighty five

(20:36):
is Carson Wisenheim we've already seen in the minor leagues.
Has had a really good season, a bounce back season
for the Giants, and good to see him having some yeah, sporadic,
sporadic success here in the major leagues. I think he's
going to be a fine number three four starter, maybe
more of a low win number three starter because he's
going to play half his games in San Francisco. What

(20:58):
is it's like Oracle Park? Is that? Is that? What
it is? Now? So Starlin Kaba comes in at number
eighty four. He's now with the Miami Marlins, originally in
the Philadelphia Philly Phillies. Plus speed, good feel for hitting.
He just siedes it gets stronger. He's one of these
guys that I keep pushing up high because I think
one day's one spring training is gonna come in having

(21:21):
put on, you know, ten pounds of muscles and gonna
be a different guy. I don't think he's ever gonna
be a thirty run thirty home run guy, but I
think he's gonna be There's gonna be enough power to
make him interesting. Number eighty three is Cjkafis. We've already
seen him in the major leagues again. He's a good hitter,
modest power, really good baseball player, decent first baseman. I

(21:44):
don't know how he's hitting at the moment, but you know,
he's had moments that he's looked pretty good and I
think he's going to be just a solid player. Jaden
Ham comes in at number eighty two. There's a chance
for a guy to have a really really good arsenal
here potential plus arsenal. He's not a big guy. He's
been a little bit more harmer prone and high a

(22:05):
excuse me, double A did get another chance to a
get another shot to see him pitch as well, and
I actually like him. It's a really simple delivery. It's
good stuff, but I mean he doesn't have you see
this with Jonah Toong has been like a reminder of

(22:26):
when you're a short guy, you've got to do something
different to give your stuff more of a of a tail,
if you will, and Jonahtong has done it much like
Tien linsey Come and Tien Linzigon talked about this a lot.
By a huge long stride, giving that extension which helps
elevate the pitches you're coming across, you know, as the

(22:47):
as your arm is coming across your body. It just
has that natural kind of elevation. So you see with
Jonah Toong, he's got that great back spin on his fastball,
and that's what his fastbass. You know, people were talking
after the game, the hitters were they couldn't pick it
up because it was a huge extension. You get distracted
by the huge extension. You don't see the ball then

(23:08):
because you're, you know, half a foot closer to the
plate than you think you are. The ball just pops
up on you. So but Jane Hamp doesn't have that.
He doesn't he hasn't taken that approach yet. And I
think maybe Jonah Tong will remind a lot of these dominions.
And I'm not saying Jane Ham's a diminutive guy, but
the guys that are not six foot six, you know,

(23:30):
like Thomas White or something like that, who just has
this you know, huge extent or Peyton Totley Peyton. It's interesting.
Peyton Totley had a seven and a half foot extension,
but he's six foot six, so he's got a long
stride as well. It's part of the reason for his success.
But Jonah Toong had a seven foot extension. You know,
his his outing on on Friday Night, I mean, which

(23:54):
is crazy for a guy who's six feet tall if that.
And it just shows the importance of extensions. And I
talk about that a lot when I do Baseball Savant breakdowns,
and that's something that people don't talk about. Everybody gets
distracted by velocity and spend, which are really important stuff,
don't get me wrong, but the extension part of the

(24:16):
delivery process is also very critical. EDWARDO. Tate just traded
for EDWARDO. Tate in the Dynasty League. Pretty excited about
that huge raw power. He probably needs a walk a
little bit more. He loves to swing the pole. But
this is a catcher formerly in the Philadelphia Phillies. A
lot of formerly in the Philadelphia Phillies on this list
now with the Minnesota Twins. Aj Ewing comes at a

(24:39):
number eighty. Kind of holding steady with her now in
double a seventy runner, maybe even an eighty runner. Really
good defender, great contact, there's not a ton of power yet.
I think it'll eventually get the five to ten arm runs,
maybe ten to twelve type of arm runs. If he does,
he gets to ten to twelve. Also, an aj Ewing
looks a lot like Justin Crawford as much hire on

(25:00):
this list, but I do like a j Ewing. Carlos
Legron Hay l A g R A n g E.
I've got him below e ERC because I'm an e
ercuh fanatic. I love Elmer Rodriguez Cruz. I do think
Elmer Rodrigez Cruz could go to the bullpen, but Legron
Hay I think is more likely going to UH to

(25:24):
be a closer than e ERC, even though the delivery
is probably more in line U with a starter repertoire.
For Legron Hey, he just doesn't do enough strikes. But
it's big boy stuff up to one hundred miles an hour,
really really good stuff. The Yankees have great pitching in
the upper levels of the Minor League. I mean great pitching.
I mean Kyle Karr cannot he's in high eight, can't

(25:46):
get a job. Up in double A because in double
A you've got Legron, Hey, you got e arc you
got Ben Hesse. Oh, a bunch of other guys too.
I can't I can't even think of the other guys
that are up there. Fearly now got moved, moved. Oh,
who's the other guy? Selvach is hurt. Anyway they've got
There's no we're up for any of these guys to

(26:07):
get promoted. Travis Bazana keeps falling. He was at fifty
three the last cuts and out seventy eight. He's just
not as good of a player as I thought. Everybody thought.
We went one to one. It was kind of a
deal to save money for the Cleveland Guardians that could
use it on other players, and everybody's looking for that
Carlo's carea move that the Houston Astros did ten twelve

(26:31):
years ago, and I don't think it's work with Travis Bizano.
I mean, you're looking at this twenty twenty four draft
class is one of the best draft class, at least
at the top of the top of the heat, that
we've seen in a long time. I mean, Nick Kurtz,
Chase Burns, Jack kagalanone Peyton Totley. He wasn't even at

(26:55):
the top of the I mean, they just keep coming
and Travis Bazana can't get out of his way, and
he kept promoted the triple A. Probably not deserved. It's
just a lot more swing and missing his game. It's
really really disappointing. Lewis Morales. We've seen him have some
good starts, and that I give myself a gold star there.
The great Tim McCleod thought he'd be a reliever, and

(27:16):
you know, I know he'd been moved to the bullpen
a little bit, but I always saw him as a starter.
I'm glad the Athletics see him as a starter as well.
It's good stuff, so Louis Morales. Eli Willets comes in
at number seventy six, up from ninety two. He's already starting,
He's already gotten out and played a little bit of

(27:36):
the in low way. Look, I'm a little down in
Eli Willets. It could be because I had his I've
been playing Fantasy baseball long enough to have rostered his father,
who was a great guy to get off the waiver
warred to get you some steals. But there wasn't anything
else there, and maybe Eli Willets will develop more power.

(27:57):
I know he can hit supposedly a shortstop. You know
he's going to be a seventy runner maybe more, but
I'm not sure about the power. And until I see that,
I've got him pushed down a little bit. If you
disagree with that and think he is a guy that
should be going one one overall in first year player,
dress by all means go for it. I want to see.
I don't like the swing. There's just no leverage in it.

(28:20):
He's a little tiny dude. I don't know. That's just
where I have him tomorrow. Johnson, look, I mean he
was supposed to he's his high floor player. I think
he's just gotten himself lost in development process. He's going
to be a power hitter. Is he going to be
as he gonna be a guy that hits for average.
I think he's decided he's going to hit for average,
and I think that's the player who he is. Kind

(28:42):
of modest speed and power, high floor player. I don't
think he's a power guy, which he tried to show
in low A. I think he just needs to gotten
make contact and on bass, steal steal some basses, score
a lot of runs. Hit two ninety with twelve home
runs and fifteen stolen bases and call it a day.
I think that's who the player is. Michael Arroyo show

(29:02):
an excellent feel for hitting the vance approach at the plate.
I dropped him a little bit. I just literally just
redid the Seattle Mariners. Listen. I think I had him
a little bit too high at thirty six at the
mid season. I think he's somewhere between sixty and eighty.
Somewhere in that range feels about right for Michael Rorio.
Slate Caldwell maybe a little bit high here, but I'm

(29:23):
still I love the fact that the Arizona Diamondbacks like
to sign these little diminutive outfielders and they usually turn
out better than what the scouting report says. And there's
a lot to like with Slake Callwell. Elma Rodriguez Cruz
comes in at seventy two. Love, love, love Elma Rodriguez Cruz.

(29:44):
There is a chance though he does move to the bullpen.
I get it. The delivery is a lower three quarters delivery,
kind of slings the ball, but it's big stuff. He
throws strikes. I like the player. Jojo Parker with the
Toronto Blue Jays comes at number seventy one. Another first
year player, first year player draft guy here. I think

(30:07):
he's going to be a plus hitter, above average speed,
modest power type player. But I've gotten so many positive
feedback from people in baseball. A couple of front offices
call me when they saw my original where I had
Jojo Parker. They thought I was too low on him,
and they sent one team actually sent me a little

(30:29):
bit of extra detail on him with how Hardy was
hitting the ball, so the modest power might be a
little bit light on that. So Jojo Parker, from what
I'm hearing, I haven't seen him play live, could be
a guy that's a pretty interesting get by the Toronto
Blue Jays here. So let's see if he's actually gone out.

(30:51):
Jojo It's together, right, Jojo Nutt. Jojo Parker doesn't look
like they have sent him out, So it looks like
that'll be next season. Coming in in at number seventies.
Durangelo's and Gente the switch pitcher. You saw him in
the Future's game if you got a chance to watch that,
it's already been promoted up the double A definitely a

(31:13):
better picture is a right handed pitcher. I think that
the left handed thing would be kind of I think
he'll be used sparingly when he's early in his career,
and then one day he's just not gonna be doing
it at all. I think he's gonna be a power
right handed picture is gonna be pretty damn good because
he's up the upper nineties, a good slider from the

(31:36):
right side. Maybe if he gets it, particularly earliest career,
if he gets going against a lefty killer that comes up.
I guess before Ramon Leriana kind of he was always
known as a lefty killer. Now he's a lefty and
righty killer killer. Maybe too strong a word on the
right side, but let's just say that you got somebody
like Roman Leriano and you simply turn him around because

(31:59):
you can't you can't hit lefties, and that's maybe the
way you go, and that's what Syingente can do for you.
But I don't think it's going to be. I just
don't think he's good enough from the left side to
turn everybody around. So every left handed batter that you
come up with, you're gonna pitch left hand. I don't
think that's the way it's gonna work. But He's a
really interesting guy and I think Cou'd be a You

(32:21):
could see him up next season. And look pitchers in
Seattle because of where they pitch and how they develop guys,
they do quite well. Boston Red Sox always seemed to
hire the right guy or draft the right guys, and
Kyson Weatherspoon is another top of the rotation. Arsenal's been

(32:42):
able to throw strikes and I like him. He's got
a brother twin brother that got drafted. I forgot who
a few rounds later, But Kyson Weatherspoon I like a lot.
Is he gonna be Peyton Totley? Maybe maybe coming to
sixty eight as mister Charlie Condon. I had a chance

(33:02):
to see him when he came to Somerset with the
yard Goats. I got a chance to see one of
his home runs, and I got a chance to see
batting practice. It's been of a long swing. He can't
pick up spin very well, but it's some of the
best power I've seen a long time in the minor leagues.
I mean it is huge raw power. I mean it's
such a leverage swing. The batspeed is really good, so

(33:24):
he can wait on pitches. I think it's gonna be
thirty maybe forty home run pop and it could be
an accelerant when he gets out to Colorado, but he
can't pick up spin. I mean, I saw him just
getting completely fooled. And again he was going up against
ERC and Legron Hay, and I saw him against Hess
as well. I mean, it's these are really good pictures,

(33:44):
not major league pictures yet, but really good minor league pitchers.
And he was completely full. He had no chance against
the ERC splitter. He just it was you know, he
could an arc. He could have said, hey, I'm about
to throw on my splitter, try to hit it. He
just couldn't hit it. I mean, he just could not
pick up the spin on it, which is a little disconcerting,

(34:04):
which means he might hit two thirty, but he could
also hit thirty five home runs. Right in front of
him is Spencer Jones. Spencer Jones the last I look, well,
he does have thirty two home runs a twenty five
stolen bases, and let that settle in from a thirty
two home runs and twenty five stolen basis. He got
off to that crazy start when it went to triple A.

(34:25):
He's back to swing and a missing a ton back
to striking out a lot. That's just who he is.
It's a long swing. I don't think the bat speed
is all that great, but he's really athletic. He can
really run. He's gonna have huge power. It's a big,
strong kid, but it's gonna come with a two twenty
two to thirty batting average. He walks a lot, so
it could come with a three twenty on base percentage.

(34:47):
You know, Look, I mean Anthony Volpi is having a
I mean, I know he's getting criticized as he can't
field ground balls, and that's a problem. You know if
I think it's actually been on this throwing that has
been problematic. Look, he's getting killed by a low Babbitt.
This is Anthony Volpey. Anthony Volpe's gonna be a good player.
These guys are getting caught up so young and they
just don't have a chance to focus on their on

(35:11):
their hit tools. Spitcher Jones has because they kept them
in Double A for over a season. I think the
Yankees have just come to the conclusion that this is
who this player is. He's toolsy, big power, decent outfielder.
He's gonna swing and miss a lot. And I think
as a fantasy manager, as long as you know that,
then you know you've just you know, as long as

(35:33):
you know that, then then you should know what is
up with Spencer Judges. Just know your parameters number sixty six.
Maybe this guy should be a lot higher. And that's
Nolan McClain. He looks really good. I mean, Jonah Toong's
got better stuff, but Nolan McLain's probably the better pitcher overall, pictures, bigger,
he's stronger, more complete than a Jonah Tong. And it's

(35:56):
just been just shoving it. And you know, if you
take a let me out go up the roster resource.
I was just thinking about this the other night and
when Nolan Jones shoved it, is he the best picture
in that rotation? I mean, David Peterson has his moments,
but he got torched last night. Could I sing, I'm sorry,

(36:18):
mister McClain, Mister Tim McClain, he's okay, he's not a
I mean that guy walks to me and he goes
SHAWM and I is a nice picture. These are all
veteran guys in front of Nolan McClain. I thinks, as
they're getting as the Mets are getting into the place.
I think Nolan McLain's their best starter, really do. I'd
put him out of Game one if it were me,
and maybe Jonah Thong in game three, maybe you go

(36:41):
Nolan McClain code I sing a Jonah Thong uh. And
particularly if Jonahtong, he just gives gives the Mets a
whole nother look along with Nolan McClain. These are these
are these are dudes? Man sixty five is Carter Jensen?
Catch you with the Kansas City Royal was pretty good
in double A, go a triple A into the PCL

(37:01):
and just starts mashing and it just happens. That's why
it's so hard just to scout the stat line. It's
just like, and Carter Jensen looks like he's got fifty
harm run power when he's sitting a triple eight dozen.
He's a good player, fifteen to twenty arm run pop,
good good defender. Obviously he's blocked by Salvador Perez. I
don't think that's gonna last forever. That's not gonna last forever.

(37:22):
It's a dumb statement because because eventually Salvador Perez is
going to retire, and I think it could be you
might start to see the transition at some point next season. Uh.
Jefferson Quaro comes out at number sixty four with the
Milwaukee burugh same kind of situation with William Pentreras. Jefferson

(37:43):
quarr is a really good player. Missed all last season
with an injury. Yeah, William Contreras hasn't been the same
guy we saw last season. A lot of that's just
been injury related. But Jefferson quarr is a good player,
really really good hitter, strong on base skills. I see
that I missed an oral hitter. Fix that strong on
based skills. There's potentially fifteen to twenty home runs. So

(38:06):
I think it's a really good player. Coming in at
number sixty three is ten kents keeps dropping. The guy
can't stay healthy. I mean it's a little disconcerting. It's
top of the rotation stuff. But if you can't stay healthy,
can't stay on the field. By this by the beginning
of the season, if I'm still he still could just

(38:29):
be dropping. So this is a guy that I'm not
sure a lot's going to change in the top one
hundred by this time at the beginning of the season,
but it could be ten Kents because I'm really torn
on this guy. Good stuff, but he's just can't stay healthy.
Robbie Snelling, it's just been a great success story here
with the left handed pitcher now with the Miami Marlins.

(38:52):
Grew up as a padre. Padres were rushing them. Miami
Marlin said, let's slow it down a little bit. Let's
get you throwing. He lost a lot of velocity, the
great curveball he had as an amateur kind of lost
a little bit, and they brought it all back and
he looks fantastic. I think we see him here at
the end of the season for a September call up,
a one or two starts. That's my prediction. A big

(39:15):
move here for Alfred to Duna one sixty five to
sixty one plus power potential with the Cincinnati Reds. Another catcher,
good on base skills, ability. I think he's going to
be able to stay behind the plate. He was one
of the big international signees in twenty twenty four. That's moving.
Looks like he's going to move quickly. Another catcher, Ike Irish.

(39:37):
I'm not sure Ike Irish is going to stay behind
the plate. He was first round draft picked by the
Orioles really dropped in the draft. I think he went
sixteenth over on going for memory on that. But he's
a really good hitter above average power. I think he
moves the first base, maybe even a corner outfield. I
don't know if he stays behind the plate, but they've
already put him to low Ay and last I looked,

(40:00):
is playing well. Cooper Pratt comes in at number fifty nine.
High floor player, makes great contact. I think there's enough
ex of lossy to suggest future power. It's also a
really good runner. That is Cooper Pratt and the guy
that probably doesn't get a whole lot of love. Let's
take another quick break, come back and do the next
swath of guys here. Next guy's painful Travis Lecora. He

(40:36):
started the season late with a hit problem and just
first of all, absolutely shoved it last season. The Nationals
kept in low way the entire season and was, I
mean was arguably one of the best pitchers in baseball.
He starts the season late and just shoved it in
high A. I think he just got promoted the double
A when he blew out his elbow, which is a

(40:58):
real bummer. I had him as the twentieth rank prospect
my last cut, and I've got him down to fifty
eight just because of the risk factor of him having
Tommy johnsond Or. It's a real shame, Ryan Sloan. I
told everyone to go pick this guy up when the
Mariners drafted him, got him a little late. Of course,
I didn't pick him up anywhere, which was a real bummer.

(41:19):
And he's striking out over striking out over a batter
and ending one point six y five walks per nine
great stuff, close to one hundred miles an hour, if
not one hundred miles an hour touching this guy. I mean,
fifty seven is pretty strong for a young nineteen year
old pitcher. But it's a big deal. Mick Abel probably

(41:40):
won't make this list because it's just about out of eligibility.
I think one more starting will be out of eligibility.
But I think we know who mckabel is and what
he's able to do. I think it's a good get
by the Minnesota Twins. Carson Williams at fifty five speed
and power is going to hit two thirty book it.
That's just no, that's the way it is. Years he'll

(42:01):
hit to sixty two seventy because they'll have a high
babbit because he hits the ball pretty hard. But the
year and in the year out, he's going to be
a two twenty to two forty hitter with and go
twenty twenty. That's the player. Can to get better, of course,
but that's the player. Ethan Sallas at fifty four is
probably a gift here. I mean, look, the guy is

(42:22):
talented heat another guy that missed the whole season because
of injuries and missed a lot of the season last
year because of injuries. The uh, the Padres have just
really rushed him. He would have been traded if have
been healthy, because if they were going to trade, uh Devrise,
they would definitely trade. They were definitely gonna trade Ethan

(42:44):
Salas as well. I got him at fifty four, down
from forty four just because he can't stay healthy. Ryan
Waldschmidt is having a really good season, high flirt player
field to hit fifteen to fifteen type of busside. Actually
showed a bit more power than I thought and has
really had a great season this year. So he's he's
going up. He was at sixty six, rising at fifty three.

(43:06):
He might sometime next season if he continues to play well,
he might be a top twenty five prospect. He's really
moving up. Lazarro Montes goes up from one to one
to fifty two, and again going back to my philosophy,
I'm just look, he's going to swing and miss a lot.
There's no speed or minimal speed, but he's going to
hit forty home runs, maybe thirty because he's going to

(43:28):
play in Seattle. But it is big boy power, really
really hard hit rates, and I just think that's who
the player is. And I guess instead of trying to
build the optimal baseball player, when you building a fantasy team,
just know your parameters and build around it. If you
got lazarro Montes, I mean, if he comes at DH,

(43:50):
then fifty one's a bit of an over or fifty
two is a bit of an overstretch here, but I
don't think he will. South Stewart another guy that hitting
the ball really hard. It's the number one prospect now
in Cincinnati, given Chase Burns has now graduated from there
from the list. Another high floor player that's actually showing
a little bit more pop, Jacob Melton. I have him

(44:13):
too high. Maybe I haven't really done the Houston Astros
to really think about that system, so he might drop
a little bit their speed and power, canny hit. I
don't know. Harry Ford high floor player plus B modest
power that he hasn't in Triple A. He's he's shown
more power because of the PCL, but he hasn't run
as much, which has been disappointing. I still think there's

(44:34):
fifteen to twenty soul and bases there with probably ten
to twelve home runs and the guy that can hit
it's a good player. Peyton Totley stud comes up from
one forty nine to forty eight. Maybe you should put
him at number one on this list. I just love
that outing that he had. Avia Arquette, Miami Marlin's first

(44:55):
round draft pick. The Marlins do a terrible job at
the draft table. I think they got a really good
one with our Ki. I think there's gonna be potentially
a power. There's gonna be some questions whether how much
he hits. Let's see how he's done this season so far. Shit,
I'm assuming they deployed him out somewhere. Is it high A. Yeah,
he sent in two five one home run, six dolen

(45:15):
bases two seventy three Babbitt and a two of five
batting average. So yeah, so he's not playing very well.
And I don't know why these teams put guys in
High A. Put him in low A. They've had a
long college season. Put him in low w A. Let
them dominate. You've seen some of the players like Kane
Kepley as is dominated in Low A and Dex Kilby

(45:40):
with the with the Yankees have dominated in Low A.
Give these guys a shot. I mean you have to
throw them at high A to start their careers. Cage
Jump has had a remarkable season except for the last outing,
at least the last one I wrote about, which I
think was last weekend. I think he had one and
two thirds endings, gave up minor and runs. It just

(46:01):
I mean almost in that one out. In his entire
season overall statistics kind of went down. The toilet is
a good pitcher guy that's been a real pop up guy,
and that is cage Jump. You know, I think you
see him next season. I think he's gonna be a
number three starter. The password Garcia is next at forty five.

(46:23):
We've already seen him in the major leagues. There's going
to be big boy power there is he going to
hit enough? I have questions about that. Noah Schultz has dropped.
Actually I had him at sixty the last guy. He's
at the forty four. It is probably just because of promotions,
but he's dropped for being kind of a top twenty
five guy. Just is exposed. His fastball was flat. It's

(46:45):
getting hit hard. He doesn't have a change up. I
think this is more of a number three starter than
than an ace. I could be wrong, but that's the
data does not look good on Noah Schultz. Justin Crawford
has had in a remarkable month. They're actually remarkable week.
I think he hit four home runs this past I

(47:06):
think he makes my hot prospect of the month, so
it must have been the month of August. He's hit
seven for the season, so all of a sudden he's
started to leave the park. Is it just a hot streak? Probably,
But if he can get up to just average power
with his speed and feel to hit, this guy could
be his father all over again, his father being Carl Crawford.

(47:29):
I think the upside is eight to ten home runs,
maybe a bit more forty stolen bases than the guy
that can hit. George Lombard Junior was at twenty six,
drop to forty two. I see him play every other
week for three games. I've seen him play a lot.
It could be too close to the situation. He looks
great in the uniform. He's really athletic, he's fast, a

(47:51):
swing is great. I've never seen a guy miss though
as much as he. It just not swing and miss,
though there's been more of that, particularly of late. Just
doesn't hit the ball solid. He just off. It just
looks like his swing is off. And I think they
promoted him really quickly. Probably should have stayed in High

(48:11):
A a little bit longer. It's been a tough challenge
and you have to kind of reflect that. I still
think he's going to be fine. THEO Gillian comes in
at number Gillan I believe fifty five up to forty one, athletics,
seventy great speed, probably more in the eight to ten
home run power. Guy hasn't shown a ton of pop

(48:32):
in his really first full season in low A. Seth
Hernandez Pittsburgh Pirate. Maybe he's a little low here at forty,
but he was. He's a high school pitcher. Top of
the rotation stuff, it smells and feels a lot like
when they drafted Bubble Chandler a couple of years ago.
It's that kind of upside. But look, he's a high

(48:54):
school pitcher and it's tough to get any of those
guys up in the top fifty. And that's where seth
and As already is. Trey You Savage Toronto Blue Jays
really good fastball splitter combination. I'm a little bit concerned
that he doesn't have a great slider or curveball, but really,
when you say curveball, curveball changes the eye of the

(49:15):
picture of the hitter right, so it drops into the
bottom part of the zone. So he needs something that's
going the other way. So remember your fastball always tails
back into an armsight hitter. So if you're right in
a pitcher like Trey you Savage, fastball is tailing in
a little bit, so that's going into the hitter. The
splitter is also dropping down and going into a right

(49:38):
handed hitter, so he needs something that goes in or
away from a right handed hitter too, So he needs
some kind of slider cutter something like that. But I mean,
it's been really good this season. Luke Keyshau, Minnesota Twins.
We've already seen what he can do in the big
League's pretty interesting guy. A run Escobar destroyed low eight,

(50:01):
got the high ad the power disappeared. I think it
comes back because that guy can really really It's got
huge raw power. I think the Saint Louis Cardinals got
themselves a good win. Liam Dole, he was my number
one pitcher off the board, lefting a picture with the
Saint Louis Cardinals. It's got a plus splitter, big fastball.

(50:24):
It's a little little nutty on the mound. I've seen
him do some crazy stuff. If you watch a couple
of his games, it's pretty animated out there. So so
I don't know if nutty is the right word or
politically correct word, but I think you know what I
mean there, Brandon Sprout. I mean, look, Nolan McLain and
and Jonah Tanker getting all the press, and rightly so.
But Brandon Sprout's got really good stuff as well. And

(50:45):
I think I think we see him at some point
next season, and all of a sudden, you've got three
young guys complimenting Singa. Singa might be elsbre for free agency,
but I mean, that's that's pretty good for the Mets.
Let's see where are we in the list here? At
number thirty four is Angel Genoa, now the number one

(51:06):
prospect in the Cleveland Guardians. He's a Cleveland Guardian guy.
He's elak, contact, excellent speed, needs to get bigger and stronger.
He arrived at camp a little bit bigger. We still
haven't seen the power develop with him, though. Caitlin Clepepper
with the Minnesota Twins at thirty three. This is the
guy that had just missed on I guess I missed
on him and Connor Griffin. He's just a lot better
player coming out of the draft last season than I

(51:29):
originally thought. There's a lot more power and speed than
I originally gave him credit for. Another guy from that
twenty twenty four draft class hit at number thirty two
is Carson Binge. Man, that guy. I've seen him play
a couple of times in double as. Now at the
Triple A. Look Jet Williams. I got him in front

(51:50):
because just from a fantasy standpoint, Jet Williams has got
more speeds. I like him a little bit more there,
but Carson Binge he might shoot ahead. I mean, this
is a guy that can really play, really good player.
Five tools. He kind of guid and the speed and
power aren't really loud, but you put it all together,
it's a really good, really good player. One guy that's

(52:11):
just outside my hunter is another another Mets and a
Met guy. And again another thought I have on just
huge power guys, and that's uh, Ryan Clifford. I got
him at one twenty eight, up from two ninety and
you got Binge Jet Williams and Carson Carson Binge, Jet
Williams and Ryan Clifford all can help the Mets next season.

(52:35):
And Ryan Clifford in particular, Alonso can opt out of
his contract, and if he does, I'm wondering if the
Mets say see you later and deploy their finances elsewhere
and bring up Ryan Clifford. I don't know. It's hard
to say. Ryan Clifford could be Pete Alonso, but it's
got similar power. Ryan Clifford's got huge rule power. I mean,

(52:58):
he's gonna swing and miss a lot, so Lons is
probably the better hitter. But it's something interesting there for
particularly if if he opts out, it'd be really interesting
to see what the Mets do there. We're going to
get back to my list, oh, Thomas White and I'll
take a quick break. Really good stuff. He's not been
as sharp in twenty twenty five with the Miami Marlins.

(53:20):
But the left side. Anybody that throws in the upper
nineties from the left side is tall and long and
lanky side. It's just going to take him a while
to develop kind of control. But I think eventually he
gets there. It's like another quick break, and I'm gonna
have to plow through these last ones quick quickly. Bray

(53:48):
Montgommery comes in at number thirty, formerly of the Boston
Red Sox, now with the White Sox. Seventy great power.
We haven't seen tons of power, We've seen a little
bit of speed. He's now up in Double A. He's
had a good season. On a great season, I think
there's more power in the tank. Moyes's Bell Asterios saw
him in the major leagues for a brief spell with
the Cubs. Eggs is a really good baseball player. Does

(54:10):
he stay at catcher? Is he really a DH? He
might be, but that guy can hit. There's good power there.
He just needs to get a shot. Bryce Rayner was
looking great and he got hurt plus raw power field
to hit a little bit of speed, but he's missed
the rest of the season. I think what I write
down on my little notes here, what was it, I

(54:30):
didn't write it down on my capsule. I think it
was an acl with some significant injury that he had
come out of twenty seven as Jonah Toong maybe should
be number one on this list, but Jonah Thong is
just He wasn't even on the top one hunder at
the start the season. He was a two hundred or
something like that. So he's had a remarkable rise here

(54:52):
and I'll probably get a chance to re rank him
if he performs well in the major leagues. He'll be
a top ten guy because he deserves it. I mean,
he's been that good. Jordan Lawler, I'm so sick of
this guy. I hope he loses prospect eligibility. He's back
up Tim and I are going to talk about him
in an hour or so. I don't know what to

(55:13):
think of him. I think he's a good player, but
he's just not been able to stay healthy. Felmon Celestine
comes in at number twenty five. Good season, not a
great season, still really young for the level, same same
age as Ethan Sallas. Both those guys were the five
million dollars CO signees in that particular draft class field
to hit plus speed, he just needs to get stronger.

(55:36):
Osway Prisino, my guy hits the ball really hard, a
good field to hit already up in Double A. Let's
see how he's doing. I haven't written about him in
a while, which means he's probably not doing very well.
That's usually what that means. No doing, just falling, thank
you very much. Uh. Four home runs in thirty four

(55:59):
games in Double A, nineteen home runs overall, twenty percent
striker rate, fifteen percent walk rate. Kind of getting hurt
by a low lower Babbitt, which is a little strange
because he does hit the ball really hard. I think
this is a guy, This is a dude. Osway Brisino
a run namala Ar johnnamala Ar Jun comes in at

(56:19):
number twenty three. Action haven't written about him in a
while either. Let's let's see what he's up to. I did.
I did not right up the Toronto Blue didn't get
a chance Analyzer's system. So yeah, I mean thirteen home run,
seventeen stolen bases. The fast starred he got off to
is really slowed down A two twenty six batting average,
but I think the tools are still there. What is

(56:41):
he nineteen years old? Still in high A Yeah, that
guy's going to be a player too, Kat Anderson. If
he pitches for Seattle, you gotta like left handed pitcher.
He's a high school kid. No, no, I'm sorry, not that
high school kid. He was the LSU guy only played,
only pitched two years at LSU, was a draft sophomore,
pitched one hundred and nineteen innings last season, So they're

(57:05):
probably going to take it really easy with him next season.
Having said that he'll probably make his debut next year,
they should take it easy with him, make sure his
arm's good, and then see him up in twenty twenty seven.
This guy has a chance to pitch at the top
of the rotation at Duardo Quintara. You probably won't see
him up this high and mini list, but he's got speed,
the powers growing. I really got to understanding of the

(57:27):
strike zone outfit of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Love Love,
Love Eduardo Quintara. Jet Williams at number twenty talked a
lot about him plus speed, plus field to hit average power,
but I think he's going to be a player. Really
good baseball player. Ethan Holliday is the highest ranked guy

(57:48):
from the twenty twenty five class, obviously in Colorado. Let's
see how he is doing in his early Ethn Holiday
see here, Now he's done on his Okay, fifty six
plate appearances, no home runs, no solo bases, striking out

(58:10):
twenty one times, twenty one times, and fifty six played appearances. Yikes. Yeah, no, boy,
the Curse of the Rockies. Ye all right, I'm just
gonna leave it at that. I like Ethan Holiday, I
hate where he went. I feel like I pick on

(58:31):
the Colorado Rockies all the time. Bryce Eldridge, you know,
he's been moving quickly. He's a child, and he's already
in triple A, huge raw power. We'll probably see him
next season. It's probably gonna take him a year or
two to establish and stuff. I think they rushed him.
He's actually spent a little bit time on the iel
this season as well. But this guy could be a
forty home run guy. Cold Emerson solid season. I did

(58:53):
have him at nine the last cut, He's down at seventeen.
It's a high floor player to eighty three hundred hitter,
you know, so kind of fifteen to twenty home run pop.
There's not going to be any speed there, zay Er, hope,
is that a more of a challenging season than I
was hoping for in High A? But their speed and
power there. He's played at a very high level for

(59:14):
a long time as a young kid too. Louis Penia,
my guy, has not looked good in High A. Contact
rates are great, He's shown some powers, obviously very fast,
but the batting average is babbit corrected and with that
is least I looked. He was hitting below the Indoza
ligned But man, I love Louis Poenia a lot, so

(59:36):
it's funny how he was the better player. It's hitt
one seventy three, three ar runs, two stolen bases, twenty
three percent strikeout rate. It's a guy that can flat
out hit. So just a little overwhelmed by the level.
And Hazus Moday said that you saw the separator. Both
of those guys have looked great in the DSL and
low way together, but even Louis Penia has looked better.

(59:58):
And Hayzus, they get to High A and he just
takes off. It wasn't phased by the better pitching at all,
and that's why he's ranked really high. Franklin a Rise
season has been a bit of a yawn for me,
so you know, I still got him as the best
Boston Red Sox prospect. Maybe it should be totally. It

(01:00:20):
may be something I reevaluate, and that was the guy
was really torn on. I didn't really change him too much.
I love players like Luisa or I mean, like Franklin
a Rise, but it's been a bit of a dud season.
Just hasn't shown the pop that I think he's eventually
going to show. Andrew Paynter a bit of a flat fastball,
hasn't done very well in Triple A. I think we

(01:00:41):
need to give him a little bit of grace as
he's coming back from Tommy John surgery. Lea Dallas the
Rise now with the Athletics comes in at number twelve.
Guy's a chance to be a star. I mean it
is probably a Corey Seeger kind of starter kit, huge power,
some speed, not a lot. I think he's gonna hit.
Remember he's still nineteen years old. Hasway de paula huge

(01:01:03):
raw power outfielder with the Los Angeles Dodgers, comes in
at number eleven. He's going to be a really great player.
And then the top ten are guys we all know.
Bubba Chandler we're seeing up at the big leagues now.
I think he's going to be a mainstay there next season.
Really struggled this year with his control, which was really
really strange, but that's just what he did aight. Miller

(01:01:25):
comes in at nine. First three or four months of
the season, not so good. August, He's literally been tearing
the cover off the ball. I think it's just taking
the time to adjust to the better level and the
better pitching. Now. Could he be getting lucky, sure, but
I think there's a lot here in the tank. There's
speed and power. I think he's got forty five stolen
bases and the power still emergency. And again the Phillies

(01:01:48):
rush their guys. So he's still pretty young. And see
how old Ady Miller is here. Aidan Miller not to
be confused with Aiden Smith formerly they Seattle Mariner. So
Aidan Miller's got fifty stolen bases, twelve home runs, and
he is twenty one years old, twenty one years, twenty

(01:02:10):
one years, two months. So he's going to play the
next half season in triple A as a twenty two
year old, So that's probably he's going to come up
as to the major leagues as a twenty two year old.
Sebastian Walcott comes in at number eight. It's been kind
of a whole home season. This year's tremendous bat speed.
Another kid that's really really young, been rushed. He's with
the Texas Rangers. In case you're wondering, let's see, yeah,

(01:02:34):
twelve home runs, twenty nine stolen base is a two
forty one average, twenty percent strikeout rate, double A, and
he's what nineteen years old, nineteen years old five months.
Remember he's in that same class as Ethan Sallas and
Celestine Fellas Felstine. So these guys are just being rushed

(01:02:55):
and he's struggling a little bit with the lower but
there's going to be thirty hour run power here. Off.
The speed's gonna last, but there's thirty her run pop
Sam Besiah for his first arm run, huge power. I
think he's gonna move to first base, but they've been catching.
I haven't seen him catch too much, but I think
he's just an average catcher. It's gonna be like Gary
Sanchez esque behind the plate. Kevin McGonagall comes in at

(01:03:19):
number six. Boy can this guy hit. He might even
beat Max Clark to the major leagues. I wouldn't be
surprised if Kevin McGonagall finishes the season in TRIPLEI. That
guy can really hit. There's some growing power, not a
ton of speeds. I think Max Clark is definitely the
better Fantasy player, but Kevin McGonagall is good. Jose Hazus

(01:03:40):
mo day as a nineteen year old. They got two
nineteen year olds here in the top ten. It's crazy.
Connor Griffin, I still think, is nineteen, and Walter Jenkins
is barely twenty, and so is Max Clark, so this
is a really young top ten. Hazes Is Mada I
think might be the best player on this list. I

(01:04:00):
just think he's that good. Yeah, Conder Griffin is great,
but Hayesu's my day will be at there, will be
the number one prospect in the game at some point.
He's that good. It is a field to hit. Is
in really good pitch recognition skills. I've seen him play
the bat. Speed is ridiculous. He's gonna have speed early
in his career. I don't think he's going to stay
at shortstop. But who cares? That guy is going to

(01:04:21):
be an offensive force. Top four guys in Bay in
the minor leagues. Walker Jenkins now in Triple A. I
don't know how he's in Triple A with all the
injuries he's had. Saw that kid in high school, saw
the kid in tenth grade in high school, and it
looked like a men amongst boys. Uh, Walker Jenkins is
going to be a right field power, thirty home run

(01:04:43):
guy that's going to hit two seventy five in hit
one hundred RBIs year over year over year. That guy's
going to be a really good baseball player. Number three
is JJ Weatherholt. I'm surprised he's not in the major
leagues already, should be. He's that a great season and uh,
it's just a matter of time. There's more tools there
that I think people gave him credit for. At the

(01:05:04):
draft table, Max Clark comes in at number two. Look,
I didn't like having Max Clark as number one. I
just didn't think the tools were loud enough to be
a number one prospect in baseball, but I put him there,
and then I was kind of glad when I put
Connor Griffin as number one because that's like a number
one player, number one minor league player in baseball, somebody

(01:05:26):
with that type of loud tools. Jesus my Day is
another one of those guys that I think in twenty
twenty seven will be the number one player in baseball.
That is the list. Love the list, really happy with it.
