F.C. Københavns U19-hold rejste i sidste uge til Rabat i Marokko for at deltage i en stor, international turnering, som var arrangeret af Mohammed VI Football Academy.
Drengene gik hele vejen til finalen, men tabte 1-2 til AFC Ajax i et tæt opgør.
"Vi fik ikke pokalen, men vi fik hvad vi kom for," sammenfattede cheftræner Morten Bisgaard de fire dage, som bød på fem kampe mod stærke modstandere fra Marokko, Brasilien, Senegal og Ajax.
Her hentydede han især til, at turneringen var en vigtig og kærkommen forberedelse til tirsdagens 1/8-finale i UEFA Youth League og forårets kampe i den hjemlige U19-liga.
