Il Gatto con gli Stivali è stato un 45 giri con un libro in italiano coi disegni, la trama del racconto fu ripresa per più di un cartone: nel 1969 con Hayao Miyazaki all’animazione, in un film del 1988. Ma ancora in Shrek 4 il Gatto con gli Stivali con la voce di Banderas diventa grasso e beve il latte. Mentre nel cartone animato del 2011, uscito con lo spot con la canzone Americano di Lady Gaga e la colonna sonora originale di Henry Jackman, il più noto dei personaggi del film Shrek, il Gatto con gli Stivali, con l’amico uovo Humpty Dumpty e Jack e Jill, è protagonista con i suoi occhioni dolci e col ballo con Kitty.
La fiaba de il Gatto con gli Stivali è anche un gioco per ps3, nintendo ds, xbox360 e wii, un musical ed uno spettacolo di Giacomo Battaglia. Insomma, il Gatto con gli Stivali va in giro per il mondo, manca solo la Walt Disney a raccontarlo.
