Shane Scalf is a member and a ministry director at Meadow Glade Adventist Church in Battle Ground, WA. His brief encounter with homelessness as a child led him to make a difference in that community. By partnering with Family Promise and twelve other churches, he and other members of the church spend a week hosting homeless families using the church facilities.

Sermin "Manny" Uribe is a passionate, hard-working, God-fear man, although that wasn't always the case. His childhood was filled with gangs and drugs which eventually landed him in prison. Manny's transformational story is filled with unexpected encounters and hope. His story sheds light in a world that is stigmatized and misunderstood. Manny shares what can be done for former inmates transitioning into society.

Monte Church is the Native Ministry Assistant of the NPUC. He grew up on the Menominee reservation in northern Wisconsin. There, Monte saw the tragedies and hardship of life on the reservation, but he also saw the beauty of the culture.
