[Henry Faherty]I couldn't care less about all the Zack
[Henry Faherty]Snyder haters out there. I think that no
[Henry Faherty]one else could have made this movie the
[Henry Faherty]way he did. Some may love it, some
[Henry Faherty]may hate it, but for me, there's nothing
[Henry Faherty]better than watching a movie that whether it's
[Henry Faherty]good or bad, could have only been made
[Henry Faherty]by that person. Hello, everybody. Welcome Hello, everybody.

(00:27):
[Henry Faherty]Welcome back to
[Henry Faherty]the Film Buds podcast. This is episode number
[Henry Faherty]five hundred and sixty seven, and my name
[Henry Faherty]is Henry. This time around, I'm going to
[Henry Faherty]be tackling Zack Snyder's Justice League, but more
[Henry Faherty]specifically, the alternate version that he also released,
[Henry Faherty]which is called Justice is Grey,
[Henry Faherty]and that's the black and white version of

(00:49):
[Henry Faherty]the movie. Then we'll be doing some Letterboxd
[Henry Faherty]reviews of it as always, and
[Henry Faherty]then we'll end off with my top ten
[Henry Faherty]DC movies of all time. And this is
[Henry Faherty]broad in terms of it not just being
[Henry Faherty]the extended universe, this is the Dark Knight
[Henry Faherty]trilogy, the Joker films, And at some point,

(01:11):
[Henry Faherty]I will be doing more specific lists, so
[Henry Faherty]best Batman, best Superman movies, that kind of
[Henry Faherty]thing. So this will by no means be
[Henry Faherty]the only list. But thank you so much
[Henry Faherty]for joining us. Make sure to rate, review,
[Henry Faherty]subscribe, like, share, all that good stuff, and
[Henry Faherty]thank you very much for doing that. Figured
[Henry Faherty]this would be a kind of a more

(01:32):
[Henry Faherty]unique, less covered film. I know that we
[Henry Faherty]did the original Zack Snyder Justice League a
[Henry Faherty]couple years ago, I think, but figured I
[Henry Faherty]would revisit it and then do this alternate
[Henry Faherty]version for a change of pace. Well, with
[Henry Faherty]that being said, let's go ahead and get
[Henry Faherty]into it. And as always, we do have
[Henry Faherty]a clip, so take a listen.

(01:55):
[Henry Faherty]You don't wanna kill me. I'm your best
[Henry Faherty]friend. Besides, who's gonna give you a reach
[Henry Faherty]around? Anyway, you need me. You need me
[Henry Faherty]to help you undo this world you created

(02:17):
[Henry Faherty]by letting her die. Poor Lois.
[Henry Faherty]The house. He suffered so.
[Henry Faherty]Alright. Zack Snyder's Justice League, Justice is Grey,
[Henry Faherty]came out in twenty twenty one, is a
[Henry Faherty]Max original, of

(02:39):
[Henry Faherty]course, done by Snyder. Stars Henry Cavill, Ben
[Henry Faherty]Affleck, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Ray Fisher, Jason
[Henry Faherty]Momoa, Amber Heard, Ezra Miller, Willem Dafoe. I
[Henry Faherty]mean, list goes on and on and on.
[Henry Faherty]And the synopsis is determined to ensure that
[Henry Faherty]Superman's ultimate sacrifice wasn't in vain, Bruce Wayne
[Henry Faherty]recruits a team of metahumans to protect the

(03:02):
[Henry Faherty]world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions.
[Henry Faherty]Well, a little background with this. So the
[Henry Faherty]original version of the movie came out, I
[Henry Faherty]think, in twenty sixteen, twenty seventeen, and it
[Henry Faherty]was terribly received, didn't do well financially. It

(03:22):
[Henry Faherty]was just a mess, and I think it
[Henry Faherty]is still the worst movie or close to
[Henry Faherty]the worst of the DC Extended Universe films.
[Henry Faherty]However, the defense of that movie was Zack
[Henry Faherty]Snyder stepped down during the production because his
[Henry Faherty]daughter died, and then Joss Whedon took over

(03:43):
[Henry Faherty]and did reshoots and cut the runtime down
[Henry Faherty]and to make it more accessible, I suppose,
[Henry Faherty]but really did not help, and it just
[Henry Faherty]did not turn out well. And there was
[Henry Faherty]all these talks about, are we gonna get
[Henry Faherty]Zack Snyder's version of the movie ever? And
[Henry Faherty]then finally, Warner Brothers or HBO, whoever, financed

(04:05):
[Henry Faherty]it, and we got this four hour version
[Henry Faherty]of the movie as well as the black
[Henry Faherty]and white one that I'm talking about. And
[Henry Faherty]I think this was my third time watching
[Henry Faherty]it all the way through. You kinda have
[Henry Faherty]to devote a afternoon or an evening to
[Henry Faherty]it considering the runtime. But flat out, this
[Henry Faherty]is and it might appear on the list
[Henry Faherty]coming up soon, but this is one of

(04:27):
[Henry Faherty]my favorite DC films ever and is my
[Henry Faherty]favorite Zack Snyder movie to date. I understand
[Henry Faherty]that with the scale of the film that
[Henry Faherty]it's not for everyone, and some people just
[Henry Faherty]love to hate on DC and just love
[Henry Faherty]to pick Zack Snyder apart. I don't really
[Henry Faherty]get it compared to a lot of other

(04:48):
[Henry Faherty]filmmakers or other comic book films, but, yeah,
[Henry Faherty]it's an exhausting watch, but it's so satisfying.
[Henry Faherty]There's so much interesting character work. And actually,
[Henry Faherty]one thing, the black and white look of
[Henry Faherty]the film is beautiful. I prefer it over
[Henry Faherty]the color version, and I think that's something
[Henry Faherty]that DC just has the advantage of. It

(05:11):
[Henry Faherty]just fits the world, especially dealing with Batman
[Henry Faherty]or Joker or anything. It has that noir
[Henry Faherty]mystery vibe, that classic vibe that I don't
[Henry Faherty]think a lot of Marvel movies could pull
[Henry Faherty]off, if any. And I would like to
[Henry Faherty]see other Zack Snyder movies in black and
[Henry Faherty]white, honestly. But in terms of the extra

(05:32):
[Henry Faherty]plot, the original version was two hours, I
[Henry Faherty]think. So this one adds basically a whole
[Henry Faherty]another movie to the runtime, but for the
[Henry Faherty]better, like, I'm never bored. I think for
[Henry Faherty]anyone who loves comic books, who likes this
[Henry Faherty]kind of world, it's a dream. You know,
[Henry Faherty]you just have so much time to get

(05:53):
[Henry Faherty]invested in the world, to go on endless
[Henry Faherty]amounts of journeys and experiences with this group
[Henry Faherty]and forming the team, which is very signature
[Henry Faherty]for Zack Snyder of he always likes to
[Henry Faherty]bring together a ragtag team of some sort
[Henry Faherty]to complete a goal or a mission, whatever.
[Henry Faherty]Some major newer scenes or extended scenes, the

(06:17):
[Henry Faherty]second nightmare sequence with the Batman that we
[Henry Faherty]saw in the first part in Batman v
[Henry Faherty]Superman, which I love that in that movie
[Henry Faherty]too, and I like the ultimate addition of
[Henry Faherty]that movie. The rescue by Wonder Woman towards
[Henry Faherty]the beginning when there's that bomb, when Darkseid
[Henry Faherty]and his army attack the Amazonians to try

(06:40):
[Henry Faherty]and get that essential, you know, mythical artifact.
[Henry Faherty]The flashback to the invasion by Darkseid, which
[Henry Faherty]I will say, I don't love the villain
[Henry Faherty]of Darkseid. I wish they'd found someone a
[Henry Faherty]little bit more grounded in terms of relatability,
[Henry Faherty]but the flashback to that huge epic fight,

(07:02):
[Henry Faherty]and it just has tons of slow mo
[Henry Faherty]and great visuals. It's just all the things
[Henry Faherty]I love about Zack Snyder. The Speed Force
[Henry Faherty]by The Flash, and there's also more origin
[Henry Faherty]work with Cyborg and really everybody. And I
[Henry Faherty]know one thing that some people don't like
[Henry Faherty]is the design of Aquaman. I think for

(07:23):
[Henry Faherty]one, Jason Momoa, he's grown on me. I
[Henry Faherty]don't think he's an amazing actor, but he
[Henry Faherty]works as Aquaman. He just has that look
[Henry Faherty]that works, and he has enough acting chops
[Henry Faherty]to pull it off, I think. But how
[Henry Faherty]they make him out to be a rock
[Henry Faherty]star, basically, you know, there's that scene where
[Henry Faherty]he's walking on the pier and it's in

(07:44):
[Henry Faherty]slow mo. There's the Hallelujah song playing. He's
[Henry Faherty]drinking vodka or something, and it's this really
[Henry Faherty]epic moment where he dives into the water
[Henry Faherty]and disappears like that, as well as that
[Henry Faherty]initial meeting between him and Bruce Wayne of
[Henry Faherty]that's the first step in getting the Justice
[Henry Faherty]League going. The sequences with Harry Allen or

(08:06):
[Henry Faherty]the Flash and his dad when his dad
[Henry Faherty]is in prison, and that's very touching, I
[Henry Faherty]think. I don't love Ezra Miller for a
[Henry Faherty]number of reasons, but I think he's pretty
[Henry Faherty]decent in this. And despite all the things
[Henry Faherty]going on with Amber Heard, I like her
[Henry Faherty]in general, and I think she's very good
[Henry Faherty]in this. I love the design of Mera,
[Henry Faherty]and she and Jason Momoa work well together.

(08:29):
[Henry Faherty]Like, there's the scene with them in that
[Henry Faherty]swirling whirlpool on the ocean floor or something
[Henry Faherty]along those lines. That looks amazing and is
[Henry Faherty]another reason why I think the black and
[Henry Faherty]white works for that because sometimes with Zack
[Henry Faherty]Snyder, you get the really glossy, super CG
[Henry Faherty]heavy sequences that usually look good, but the

(08:51):
[Henry Faherty]black and white hides the flaws. Another possible
[Henry Faherty]hot take, I love Jared Leto as Joker.
[Henry Faherty]I love everything about the performance. I like
[Henry Faherty]the design. I just wish there was way
[Henry Faherty]more of him aside from that one main
[Henry Faherty]scene at the end with him and Batman,
[Henry Faherty]which is one of my favorites in the

(09:12):
[Henry Faherty]entire movie. And in terms of the Zack
[Henry Faherty]Snyder aesthetic, I think he is absolutely an
[Henry Faherty]auteur. That doesn't mean he's perfect.
[Henry Faherty]He has his flaws. He has his duds
[Henry Faherty]for sure, but he's one of the only
[Henry Faherty]filmmakers, and I mean this in the best
[Henry Faherty]way, who I would describe his style as

(09:33):
[Henry Faherty]cool. Like, he's just a really cool filmmaker.
[Henry Faherty]He's got big action. He's got big scale.
[Henry Faherty]He's got melodrama. He uses slow mo, speed
[Henry Faherty]ramping. There's operatic score, cool soundtrack choices,
[Henry Faherty]a graphic novel visual style, so I will

(09:54):
[Henry Faherty]always go and see whatever Zack Snyder does,
[Henry Faherty]whether I love it or hate it. And
[Henry Faherty]even someone like Christopher Nolan has come out
[Henry Faherty]and said recently how much he loves Zack
[Henry Faherty]Snyder, and if you saw the original and
[Henry Faherty]didn't like it or if you
[Henry Faherty]haven't seen any cut of the movie, this
[Henry Faherty]one would be the one to start with

(10:15):
[Henry Faherty]or the only one to watch. That one
[Henry Faherty]is a heavy five out of five.
[Henry Faherty]Alright. Well, let's end off with some letterbox
[Henry Faherty]reviews of the film. And as always, if
[Henry Faherty]you wanna have your review read, let me
[Henry Faherty]know. If you have a suggestion for a
[Henry Faherty]movie that you wanna see done so you
[Henry Faherty]can have your review read, please let me

(10:36):
[Henry Faherty]know in any of the contact links in
[Henry Faherty]the show notes. And if this is your
[Henry Faherty]first time listening because you got your review
[Henry Faherty]featured, make sure to give the show a
[Henry Faherty]rating, a review, all that. First one comes
[Henry Faherty]from Josh Lobo,
[Henry Faherty]gave it four out of five and says,
[Henry Faherty]there's an elegance to the

(10:57):
[Henry Faherty]way Snyder minds big emotion from simple moments.
[Henry Faherty]It's so grand and sentimental in a way
[Henry Faherty]I hadn't quite expected. Gods as broken individuals
[Henry Faherty]striving to feel whole. Steven Sajdak, sorry if
[Henry Faherty]I said that name wrong, gave it two
[Henry Faherty]out of five and says definitely more cohesive

(11:19):
[Henry Faherty]than the theatrical, and it sure is fuller.
[Henry Faherty]One might call it bloated. Me, I would
[Henry Faherty]call it bloated. The runtime is a travesty.
[Henry Faherty]In a perfect world, there's a two and
[Henry Faherty]a half hour version of this movie, and
[Henry Faherty]I still wouldn't like it very much. For
[Henry Faherty]ass tacks, I don't like Snyder style, and
[Henry Faherty]I don't like his take
[Henry Faherty]on these characters, especially Superman. All told, I'm

(11:39):
[Henry Faherty]glad I never need to see it again.
[Henry Faherty]Neecee, nicey, sorry if I butchered that, gave
[Henry Faherty]it three out of five, and just says,
[Henry Faherty]I'm so exhausted dot dot dot. I need
[Henry Faherty]to sleep. Last one comes from Jay, gave
[Henry Faherty]it five out of five, and says, this

(12:01):
[Henry Faherty]movie is just a story about Batman creating
[Henry Faherty]a team built on the idea of heroism
[Henry Faherty]rather than fear, a way
[Henry Faherty]for him to make amends for twenty years
[Henry Faherty]of believing fear is what
[Henry Faherty]the world needed to feel safe. His parents
[Henry Faherty]would be proud, Crying emoji.
[Henry Faherty]Well, there you go. And, again, if you
[Henry Faherty]wanna have yours read, please let me know

(12:22):
[Henry Faherty]in whatever fashion. Would be happy to feature
[Henry Faherty]yours on the show. Let's end off with
[Henry Faherty]my top ten DC movies of all time.
[Henry Faherty]So number ten is Man of Steel, still
[Henry Faherty]remains my favorite Superman movie to date. We'll
[Henry Faherty]see how the new James Gunn one fares

(12:43):
[Henry Faherty]later this year, and I will probably do
[Henry Faherty]a ranked list of the Superman movies at
[Henry Faherty]that point, so keep an eye out for
[Henry Faherty]that. But this was the first one that
[Henry Faherty]I ever saw. I really like Henry Cavill
[Henry Faherty]as Superman. This is one of Zack Snyder's
[Henry Faherty]sturdier solid films. It's not too bloated, but

(13:06):
[Henry Faherty]for the most part, it's a fairly quieter
[Henry Faherty]film at points at least compared to his
[Henry Faherty]other stuff. The look of Krypton, Hans Zimmer's
[Henry Faherty]score is amazing. I like Amy Adams a
[Henry Faherty]lot, even though the character of Lois Lane
[Henry Faherty]doesn't have that much to do in any
[Henry Faherty]of these movies. While I had an issue
[Henry Faherty]with the big action scene at the end,

(13:28):
[Henry Faherty]at this point, I honestly enjoy it. It
[Henry Faherty]is a little tiring, but it's just so
[Henry Faherty]destructive and visually insane that I get a
[Henry Faherty]lot of entertainment out of it. And just
[Henry Faherty]seeing a whole city destroyed and that epic
[Henry Faherty]feel of Superman versus Zod, and Michael Shannon
[Henry Faherty]is another great casting choice in the movie.

(13:50):
[Henry Faherty]Number nine, the Suicide Squad. So I am
[Henry Faherty]a defender of the David Ayer Suicide Squad.
[Henry Faherty]I think the extended cut is pretty solid
[Henry Faherty]and it came close to making this list.
[Henry Faherty]It does have some issues, but I genuinely
[Henry Faherty]do like that movie quite a bit. But
[Henry Faherty]if I had to choose which one is
[Henry Faherty]a little bit better overall, it would be

(14:12):
[Henry Faherty]this one. I still don't love this movie,
[Henry Faherty]but the new set of characters are really
[Henry Faherty]weird and interesting and iconic. Margot Robbie is
[Henry Faherty]a staple in all these movies. I just
[Henry Faherty]wish she would go on
[Henry Faherty]to be in more Harley Quinn movies from
[Henry Faherty]this point. Maybe she will, but I don't
[Henry Faherty]think so. It's r rated, so there's a

(14:32):
[Henry Faherty]lot more signature James Gunn gore and body
[Henry Faherty]horror. It's very funny. It's got some good
[Henry Faherty]dramatic moments, though. Number eight, this might be
[Henry Faherty]a little crazy, a little hot take, sorry,
[Henry Faherty]but it is Joker two, which I reviewed
[Henry Faherty]in full on the show late last year,

(14:53):
[Henry Faherty]so you can check out that review. I
[Henry Faherty]thought it was so ambitious, beautifully shot. Walking
[Henry Faherty]Phoenix and Lady Gaga are phenomenal together. I
[Henry Faherty]like the ideas. I like the ending of
[Henry Faherty]the film with the twist on who we
[Henry Faherty]thought was Joker, who's gonna be Joker.
[Henry Faherty]Number seven, Wonder Woman, the first one.

(15:16):
[Henry Faherty]I do also really like nineteen eighty four,
[Henry Faherty]the second film, but this would be my
[Henry Faherty]favorite of the two. The origin story is
[Henry Faherty]so strong. Gal Gadot is perfect as Wonder
[Henry Faherty]Woman, and Chris Pine is great along with
[Henry Faherty]her. The World War one setting, it's so
[Henry Faherty]well built. It looks great. It also has

(15:38):
[Henry Faherty]one of the better, I guess, secondary villains
[Henry Faherty]of the DC films, which is the scientist
[Henry Faherty]who's coming up with the mustard gas during
[Henry Faherty]the war and overall is a very inspiring
[Henry Faherty]character, and
[Henry Faherty]I think does Wonder Woman, the character, justice.
[Henry Faherty]Number six, the dark knight rises.

(16:00):
[Henry Faherty]It and the whole trilogy really helped to
[Henry Faherty]modernize even though there was the Sam Raimi
[Henry Faherty]films, the Spider Man films, and all that.
[Henry Faherty]Before, this was still very much early on
[Henry Faherty]in the modern age of comic book films,
[Henry Faherty]and Christopher Nolan brought all of his best
[Henry Faherty]strengths and skills to it. Christian Bale and

(16:23):
[Henry Faherty]Tom Hardy are great together in terms of
[Henry Faherty]Batman versus Bane. There's endless amounts of practical
[Henry Faherty]action and effects, which is something Christopher Nolan
[Henry Faherty]is, of course, very well known for. It's
[Henry Faherty]a long movie. It's an epic movie, and
[Henry Faherty]there might be
[Henry Faherty]a few issues here and there, but I

(16:43):
[Henry Faherty]was in awe when I saw
[Henry Faherty]it in theaters for the first time,
[Henry Faherty]and it still holds up very well. Number
[Henry Faherty]five, Birds of Prey.
[Henry Faherty]One of my favorite things about DC, and
[Henry Faherty]I wish they would do it more often
[Henry Faherty]because I like it when they can do
[Henry Faherty]grounded, smaller scale, r rated comic book films.

(17:04):
[Henry Faherty]They can be gritty, violent, coarse, graphic. There's
[Henry Faherty]not a lot of CG. This movie is,
[Henry Faherty]for the most part, not doing anything too
[Henry Faherty]fantastical or supernatural. It's so much fun and
[Henry Faherty]to me is a very underrated film that
[Henry Faherty]I think people maybe wrote off because of
[Henry Faherty]the things that I just said I like

(17:25):
[Henry Faherty]about it. I don't know or something along
[Henry Faherty]those lines, but I've always loved it since
[Henry Faherty]I first saw it and I've seen
[Henry Faherty]it probably four or five times since and
[Henry Faherty]I like it more and more each time.
[Henry Faherty]Number four, Watchmen, The Ultimate Cut, another Zack
[Henry Faherty]Snyder film. I just watched The Ultimate Cut
[Henry Faherty]for
[Henry Faherty]the first time. I'd seen the theatrical and

(17:49):
[Henry Faherty]the director's cut, but this was
[Henry Faherty]my first time watching the biggest version of
[Henry Faherty]the movie. And similar to Zack Snyder's Justice
[Henry Faherty]League, not for everybody, it's three and a
[Henry Faherty]half hours. It's very violent. It's very dark.
[Henry Faherty]There's a
[Henry Faherty]lot of characters, but it is,
[Henry Faherty]I think, one of the best adaptations of

(18:09):
[Henry Faherty]any graphic novel, comic book ever. Not necessarily
[Henry Faherty]in terms of just adapting the look and
[Henry Faherty]feel of the original source material, but it
[Henry Faherty]has such great drama and emotion. The casting
[Henry Faherty]is perfect. Jackie Earle Haley as Rorschach, Billy

(18:30):
[Henry Faherty]Crudup as Doctor Manhattan. There's so many interesting
[Henry Faherty]ideas that were in the original, but are
[Henry Faherty]also evoked through this movie about nuclear war,
[Henry Faherty]nuclear power, about changing of society over time,
[Henry Faherty]and about the past. It's not too big
[Henry Faherty]scale in action or anything, so it's very
[Henry Faherty]story driven. It's very character driven. The addition

(18:54):
[Henry Faherty]of this animated storyline sprinkled throughout the narrative,
[Henry Faherty]I like. It doesn't necessarily need to be
[Henry Faherty]there, but it's got great animation and the
[Henry Faherty]movie is already three plus hours, so what's
[Henry Faherty]an extra ten or fifteen minutes? If you
[Henry Faherty]haven't seen any version of the movie, I
[Henry Faherty]would maybe start with the director's cut.

(19:15):
[Henry Faherty]I think it's around two fifty, three hours,
[Henry Faherty]and it doesn't have that animated feature. Number
[Henry Faherty]three, The Batman, the Matt Reeves film. And
[Henry Faherty]I
[Henry Faherty]know that, unfortunately, they just recently pushed back
[Henry Faherty]the Batman part two release date by a
[Henry Faherty]year. But I remember when Robert Pattinson was

(19:37):
[Henry Faherty]cast, people were very unsure even though he'd
[Henry Faherty]been doing very well in other films. It's
[Henry Faherty]like, okay. Is he the right fit? He's
[Henry Faherty]young. You know, how is this gonna work?
[Henry Faherty]I had total faith in Matt Reeves because
[Henry Faherty]of his work with the Planet of the
[Henry Faherty]Apes films, and it turned out to be
[Henry Faherty]one of the best Batman movies ever to
[Henry Faherty]me. It's really one of the first where

(20:01):
[Henry Faherty]he actually feels like a detective. There's that
[Henry Faherty]noir vibe, the procedural. It's one
[Henry Faherty]of the best looking. I like the emo
[Henry Faherty]Batman with the eye makeup and the nocturnal
[Henry Faherty]feel to everything. Paul Dano's great. The whole
[Henry Faherty]cast, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, top notch. It's

(20:22):
[Henry Faherty]definitely a series or a trilogy, I guess,
[Henry Faherty]it's gonna be that has the potential to
[Henry Faherty]be one of
[Henry Faherty]the best of all time in the superhero
[Henry Faherty]genre. Number two, Zack Snyder's Justice League Justice
[Henry Faherty]is Grey, which I just talked about, and
[Henry Faherty]it's fantastic. Nothing else needs to
[Henry Faherty]be said. And number one, maybe it's not

(20:45):
[Henry Faherty]a hard one to predict. It is The
[Henry Faherty]Dark Knight. Even more so than The Dark
[Henry Faherty]Knight Rises, I had never seen anything like
[Henry Faherty]it. It remains my favorite Christopher Nolan movie
[Henry Faherty]to date. And some people say, oh, people
[Henry Faherty]only like it because of Heath Ledger as
[Henry Faherty]the Joker. No. Not for me. Yeah. He's
[Henry Faherty]amazing, and that dynamic between Batman and Joker

(21:10):
[Henry Faherty]will always be one of my favorite conflicts
[Henry Faherty]or relationships in comic books. But everything about
[Henry Faherty]the movie is I would say it's a
[Henry Faherty]perfect film. The ideas about society and chaos
[Henry Faherty]and Joker being this kind of figure of
[Henry Faherty]just wanting to spread destruction and seeing if

(21:32):
[Henry Faherty]he can turn Batman evil is very interesting.
[Henry Faherty]I think we'll never go out of relevance
[Henry Faherty]with people and the possibility to do bad
[Henry Faherty]things and Batman trying
[Henry Faherty]to maintain a sense of morality even though
[Henry Faherty]he wants Joker to be stopped. The opening
[Henry Faherty]heist is probably one

(21:52):
[Henry Faherty]of the most iconic in all of film
[Henry Faherty]history. The boat or ferry sequence at the
[Henry Faherty]end with the dual bombs and the triggers,
[Henry Faherty]the interrogation sequence with Joker, his monologues about
[Henry Faherty]how he got the scars, the relationship between

(22:13):
[Henry Faherty]Batman or Bruce Wayne and Harvey Dent and
[Henry Faherty]Harvey Dent's decline into Two Face, I think
[Henry Faherty]it's generally considered to be one of the
[Henry Faherty]best of all time, not really just in
[Henry Faherty]comic books, but one of the best movies
[Henry Faherty]ever made. And, yeah, just an absolute total
[Henry Faherty]masterpiece. There you go. That is my top

(22:34):
[Henry Faherty]ten DC movies of all time. Please rate,

[Henry Faherty]social media, and I hope you enjoyed it

I started this podcast 5 years ago to invite you into conversations and workshops that are designed to help make you happier, healthier and more healed. I believe that when you (yes you) feel seen, heard and understood you’re able to deal with relationship struggles, work challenges and life’s ups and downs with more ease and grace. I interview experts, celebrities, thought leaders and athletes so that we can grow our mindset, build better habits and uncover a side of them we’ve never seen before. New episodes every Monday and Friday. Your support means the world to me and I don’t take it for granted — click the follow button and leave a review to help us spread the love with On Purpose. I can’t wait for you to listen to your first or 500th episode!
