This week the Film Lovers look back on 2018, and share their top ten favorite movies of of 2018 (13:27). Before that, Casey sneaks in his top five favorite documentaries via a declarative discussion topic (3:50), and Russ endlessly mentions articles you can read which are linked to below! As usual the guys had a lot of fun crafting their lists and want to hear yours, so please share your top ten lists with them on Twitter.

Join the Film Lovers as they jump into a portal and travel back in time to 2001 in order to watch and discuss Richard Kelly's accidental masterpiece "Donnie Darko." This episode draws out deep feelings as the lovers explore both fear and love (the deepest of human emotions). This second volume of the "Film Lovers Flashback" is so intense, some moms of the PTA may just want to have it banned from school.

The Film Lovers are back this week, and they're reflecting on the year thus far and ranking their top five movies of 2018 (20:55). Before that they discuss Pixar's Incredibles II (10:55); and finish off the episode sharing some love and emotion with one another about film (1:08:30).

Before that, they manage to discuss the merits of both Tom Cruise and Jeff Goldblum (6:00); and, as always, they end the show by sharing their love for something cinematic (1:09:10). This episode is the perfect escape from reality!

This week the Film Lovers travel to Wakanda and dive deep into the vibranium mines as they dig through the cinematic marvel that is “Black Panther” (18:16). Before that, thanks to MoviePass, Russ overhauls his Top Ten list of 2017 (5:25); the Lovers discuss the eternal commercialization of movie theaters (7:50); and there’s a lot of love to be had for Taika Waititi (1:13:00). It’s an episode fit for a king (or queen).

This week the Film Lovers reflect on 2017, and share their lists for the Top Ten Movies of 2017 (19:10). They feel pride, shame, inadequacy, self-doubt, and above all things, love. Before all that, they "discuss" a very esoteric comparison of two decades (4:20), they pick their front runners for the Oscar for Best Picture (15:10), and end the show sharing something they love (1:13:35).

This week the Film Lovers venture off to a galaxy far far away to discuss their love (and some of their hate) for the latest installment of the Star Wars franchise, "The Last Jedi." It's back-to-back Star Wars for the entire episode, so set your blasters to stun and get ready for a debate that would put the Galactic Senate to shame.
