I USA installeras Donald Trump för andra gången som president. I flera år har den liberala demokratin varit på nedgång och mer auktoritära styren kommit till makten, vilket fått filosofer och många andra att diskutera demokrati och kunskap. Är det nya frågor som väcks nu när Trump tar makten med Musk vid sin sida?
EU:s klimattjänst Copernicus har konstaterat att förra året blev det varmaste hittills som man har uppmätt. Tankar om människans förhållande till djur och natur väcks i takt med nya kunskaper om djurs känslor och medvetande, och vi ser också ett ifrågasättande av människans överordning och exploatering av naturen. Håller gränsen mellan människan och djuren och naturen på att delvis suddas ut?
Vart kommer AI-utvecklingen föra oss 2025? AI har tagit kliv in i mångas vardag, samtidigt fortsätter forskare att varna för att AI kan komma att ta över och förgöra människan, senast nobelpristagaren i fysik, Geoffrey Hinton. Är frågan om AI som ett existentiell hot fortfarande lika stor?
