Meet Khalil & Kyara, known as @CharmCityBuyers on social media, were able to go from recent college grads to entrepreneurs with a 7 figure real estate empire all before the big 3-0. With a portfolio of rentals and an eye for great flip deals, Khalil & Kyara are passionate about using their real estate expertise to build community wealth. While managing tenants, contractors and the business, the happily married couple can be found with the "real CEO", their daughter Mikayla. We began investing when we purchased our first property in Connecticut in September of 2012. We knew that we wanted to build wealth, a legacy and our own empire - so we developed a plan to make it happen! We started from scratch, with no formal training, (which we don’t recommend) which was not an easy task. Over 5 years later we’re still going strong and have been able to exit the rat race and focus all of our efforts on maintaining empire and working with others to build their own.
