This is a conversation with Edward Deci, Professor of Psychology at the University of Rochester. Edward's work is focused on motivation. He developed Self-Determination Theory with Richard Ryan. Much of what we talked about was taken from theories described in Why We Do What Do. We didn't get a chance to talk for too long.
