《中国在梁庄》这本书大家可能都不陌生，它的作者，文学教授梁鸿，用十几年的时间，一次又一次地回到她位于河南的家乡梁庄。通过记录这个小村庄里的人情世故、变迁与流动，她为我们呈现了一个血肉丰满的当代乡土中国。对很多读者来说，梁鸿的名字，是和「乡土」、「乡村」紧密联系在一起的。
所以，当梁鸿老师的最新作品《要有光》问世时，很多人都有一点惊讶。这本书的关注点，从广阔的乡土大地，转向了一个看似迥然不同的领域——中国青少年的心理健康。为什么一位乡土文学的研究者和写作者，会去书写这样一个沉重的社会议题？这背后，并非一次突然的转向。
