今天的讲述者张中臣，来自安徽省最北端的一个小村子，张中臣高中毕业后读了技校，后来进了厂，车间主任说，小张，再干十年你就是车间主任了。
但小张后来还是辞工北上，到了北京电影学院做保安，在这里，他结识了一群热爱电影的保安兄弟。
2019 年，这几位兄弟集资 50 万元，拍摄了他们的第一部电影，《最后的告别》，这部电影获得了 FIRST 青年电影展 2021 年度最佳剧情长片和最佳导演两项大奖。2024 年，电影在院线上映。
今天张中臣来讲述的，是一个追逐梦想的故事，也是一个故事中的故事。
