Speaker 2 (02:29):
I gave up. That is it? Okay, this isn't worth it.
This isn't worth a friendship.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
Speaking of By the way, you're already to jump into work.
Speaker 4 (02:42):
I love you a lot without question.
Speaker 1 (02:44):
Rivalry week, let's jump from friendship to hate, and let's
start off clean on fashion hate. Because George Georgia Tech
played Friday Night? Was that the first? That was the
first Friday night game that I remember George Georgia Tech
ever playing me too? Yeah, so it is probably the
first round a while. Next year they're moving it to
Mercedes Benz Georgia Tech's can start doing that when they
(03:05):
host it.
Speaker 4 (03:06):
Nice okay, but this.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
Year was in Athens night game game Friday Night, Friday Night,
seven overtimes, eight eight eight over time.
Speaker 2 (03:15):
This is the level of research you get here eight
eight over the he said, it's so confident.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
I did a very confident.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
There was a lot. Just to your credit, there.
Speaker 1 (03:25):
Was a lot. And also, I'll be honest before we
really jump into the analytics, I hate the new overtime rules.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
I love them. Let's talk about this hat. It's the
best ending in sports period.
Speaker 1 (03:40):
I understand that they are efficient and I understand why
they implemented them.
Speaker 4 (03:46):
Give it to them in thirty seconds PEO thirty seconds
overtime rules.
Speaker 1 (03:49):
Two teams started the twenty five yard line. Basically, you
answered the team in front of you, they score three points,
you score a touchdown, you win, You don't score, you lose.
That's it. You got to match their score or exceed
it to win. Now though after the first overtime you
have to go for two. After you score after the
second overtime, then it's just alternating two point conversions.
Speaker 3 (04:09):
Yep.
Speaker 1 (04:12):
Now they did this because I don't know what year was,
but I think it was LSU in Texas A and M.
They had six sixty seven overtimes that was up until
it was like seventy five to seventy four. It was
like the total score it's like three in the morning.
So I understand that they were like, we can't keep
doing this.
Speaker 4 (04:31):
Yep, safety hills, But I hate would you give your
what you what you wanted to be?
Speaker 1 (04:38):
Oh that I don't I don't know what I wanted
to be. I like the I like the older version better.
I think I like the rule where they switched to
where you have to go for two points. But I
still like that you have to you still have to score.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
But you and you also like the fact that you
have to drive the football.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
You have to drive the football. You still have the
three points the defense, so full football. It's still a
full full time and not just like a run one
play now everybody goes to the other side of the field.
There's not a commercial break every fifteen seconds. So stuff
like that felt like it was dragging.
Speaker 2 (05:15):
I loved it. Now I would agree that there was
probably some level of drag, but like with what was
on the line, Georgia getting into the college like confirming
their spot into the college football playoffs ivalry. I mean,
Kirby Smart for sure dragged it out where he called
time out every single time they were on defense as
they would come out, so it would. But it is
(05:35):
one I love the fact that it's basically penalty shots,
full team penalty shots at the end of a game.
So it kind of takes a little bit from soccer
and the fun of penalty shots. And I love that
it's three yards because ultimately, if you can dry, if
you can gain three yards on average in a football game,
you will gain first downs and you will score touchdowns.
(05:58):
And it literally just boils down to this simple fact
of can I gain three yards and can I keep
you from gaining three yards? And if you can do that,
you're gonna win the game. And so I think that
there is a simplicity and it's on it's start the
balls on the three yard line? Can you score a touchdown?
And I think the drama is off the charge. Like
literally I was watching it in silence with Alison and
(06:20):
I as like our baby was asleep, we were in
bed and like just the back and forth, like I
couldn't go to sleep until two.
Speaker 4 (06:28):
Ayem, I have to know.
Speaker 2 (06:30):
It was amazing.
Speaker 4 (06:33):
No matter what, I'll go bigger picture for a second here.
I just am a huge fan of rivalry, specifically in
college definitely division football, just that kind of stuff because
I think it brings out, ultimately, which is so weird,
the best or worst than teams in a sense of
like we know each other. There's this real animosity there.
We don't some schools don't call the other school by name,
(06:55):
like you know, an a rivalry. Georgia Tech could be one,
one and seven, you can be undefeated, but somehow, somewhere
is eighteen eighteen at the end of the fourth like
how is this happening? And there's this love this for
this hatred for this other team. You know, it's it's
Pittsburgh versus Cleveland. It's like, how we seven to seven
at the halftime. It's because we despise each other. And
(07:16):
so there's something exciting, without question for that. The drama there,
the animosity is there, the the the legacy of this
series is there. So in general as rivals, I just
love that week. In general, I do want to say,
you just brought it up. I think that's my favorite ending.
Is penalty kicks in soccer specifically compared to this one
(07:38):
here as a one A because that is mono, we mono.
That is one athlete literally versus another athlete, and very
clear one is at a big disadvantage. Let me be
very clear. Okay, one is playing cornerback with skates, all right,
with a whole you said, but as far as endings
that drama, man as a sports fan can't beat it.
Speaker 1 (07:58):
And it was like, why did it take you five
overtimes to run the ball? Like it's like it's three yards?
Speaker 2 (08:07):
Yeah, I mean I I think that there's probably a
lot of strategy that goes into it. There are a
few trick plays that they tried to pull. One was successful,
one was it's tough in.
Speaker 4 (08:18):
General, your play calling changes the defensive schematics like it's
it's the lad going on with a very small twenty
two man, you know what I'm saying in a space.
Speaker 2 (08:26):
Here's good news for the Georgia Georgia Tech rivalry. Georgie's
won the last eight. Sure, it shouldn't be a rival
shouldn't be, but it is this single handedly like reignites
the reality that when bran Kee is a great coach.
And I can say that as a Georgia fan, fair
fair I hate how much he hates Georgia, but I
(08:46):
think that adds an added element to the rivalry. But
you can see the mutual respect at the end of
the game between the teams, unlike it's called clean, clean,
old fashioned hate. I think at this point in time,
it's a little bit more of like we're both good
football teams going toe to toe versus the Ohio State
and Michigan rivalry. Let's let's talk about that one because,
(09:10):
oh my.
Speaker 4 (09:11):
God, arguably in my opinion, top three college football rivalry
of all time. There's a few others in the SEC
that I think you could be in that category. But
what is what does one team called the other team
the team up north? Right?
Speaker 2 (09:25):
Like every m has crossed out, Like it's like bluzz.
Speaker 5 (09:29):
And crips when they don't say the seat and it's
like this is a lot.
Speaker 2 (09:32):
Bro they true Like I think rivalries in the South,
the bragging rights are real, right, Like you're gonna I
see a Tennessee fan this year. I'm gonna laugh a
little bit a little bit. That being said, they hate
each other.
Speaker 4 (09:46):
It's capital H up there.
Speaker 2 (09:48):
They hate each capital H and here. Ryan Day should
be fired, even though he still has a shot at
the national championship. But if I was an Ohio State fan,
I wouldn't care.
Speaker 4 (10:01):
Ryan Day coach of the Ohio State. He pretty much
just being there everybody most times. But he has lost
four years in a row against the biggest rival that
his university cares about and and.
Speaker 2 (10:10):
So he has a similar record in the playoff. So
when it comes to the biggest, biggest game in the games,
I can't win.
Speaker 4 (10:18):
He gotta go, James Harden, he gotta go.
Speaker 2 (10:21):
Is anyone keeping him? Or if you're Ohio State athletic director,
are you keeping Ryan Day.
Speaker 4 (10:26):
If he wins the Natty?
Speaker 1 (10:27):
Day will if he wins. If he wins the National Championship,
obviously you can't fire him. And then you have to go,
who's who who do we upgrade? Who's who's our.
Speaker 2 (10:36):
Up but his talent? Uh looking at talent at his
team and letting a quarterback go to Syracuse? Who just
put who is the leading FBS quarterback in the country? Now, grant,
it's at Syracuse and they're playing in acc schedule, not
a big ten schedule. There's some nuance here, But like
in general, he let the best quarterback in the country
(10:57):
statistically leave the university to bring in somebody who literally
could not complete a pass on Saturday against Michigan.
Speaker 4 (11:07):
So all those things are true. The rivalry gets crazy
and general off top from the beginning, but when it
gets to the end of the game, bro right, So
Michigan wins in Ohio State, right, and it's already all
the emotions both on a high on one side of
the field and the lowest of lows and in the crowd.
The crowd got everybody, So just you put yourself in
(11:29):
the shoes if you're not familiar with what had happened
a couple of days ago. And then shout out to
Baker Mayfield, the Michigan crew, somebody like, yo, look at
this flag, which I didn't know we were still bringing flags
in general, just as people they're like, yo, go get
the flag and put the flag right in the middle
of the field.
Speaker 2 (11:47):
Own that.
Speaker 4 (11:47):
Oh let them know, bang right and put that down.
The team hype Ohio States was like, nah, bro, Mala's
in the palace and then it turns into Mayhem, Mayhem.
I'm I'm a think for myself and my college football
love is definitely different than y'all. So this was probably
arguably the wildest scene I had ever seen post football
(12:09):
college football game. Right, we're fighting, you know what I'm saying. Uh,
brawls that happened and people getting pushed down. Helme is
again thrown out here. Uh. There was a couple of
coaches who fell down. Last thing you want to do
is fall down under big boys with Cleeton. I'm gonna
tell you who are angry. I saw that. I was like,
get my man up. I don't know who, get my
man up. He gonna be hurt for real, for real.
(12:30):
And so it was wild. Did y'all watch that live?
Speaker 5 (12:33):
You see the replay? Where were y'all at when it happened?
Speaker 2 (12:35):
The replay?
Speaker 4 (12:36):
Yeah, so I saw it live.
Speaker 1 (12:39):
And then their interviewing, yeah, the white guy, yeah. And
then that's when the fight that was real specific and
he kills the interview kills it. He like I gotta
go yeah, and he's like, I'll see it. I'll see
and he just turns around and just jumps and.
Speaker 4 (12:52):
Jumps right in that thing. I gotta I gotta fad
my ball. He could have should should has a weapon,
one of the two. I'm coming through, like throw them
bowls or.
Speaker 1 (13:03):
You grab somebody else's. So he hits out and then
it so so the brawl is happening going, and I
still don't know how you break up these kind of fights.
Speaker 4 (13:18):
I don't. As a former.
Speaker 2 (13:20):
Teacher, I know how they did it. In this instance,
they sprayed all the players with pepper spray.
Speaker 1 (13:25):
Well, get you say all the players things that I
saw were only Michigan players were the ones getting doused
with pepper spring That's what I saw from some media members.
Speaker 2 (13:37):
How is that possible if they're engaged in a fight.
How to only this is the like.
Speaker 1 (13:42):
Another media members were all saying like.
Speaker 4 (13:43):
Pepper spray was getting gone by, like back up, back up,
off me.
Speaker 1 (13:47):
They people got pepper spray. Then they had another interview.
So they have a second interview with the same guy.
Is the new guy fight? Yes, post fight, talk about
the fight one of the run back, I believe, and
he was. So he's just talking trash about Ohio State
letting him have it, which is great, Like everything's flying,
(14:09):
the fight's still behind it still kind of sort of
getting broken. Yeah, he's running his mouth basically like, look,
if y'all didn't want us to plant a flag, there's
a lot of time to stop us. And then well
so then there's another flag planting situation in the flag
u n C North Carolina.
Speaker 4 (14:29):
There are multiple flag planting in general.
Speaker 1 (14:31):
So after that game, so this game happens at new.
Speaker 4 (14:33):
Noon early, so this is the Maybe the kids are
watching the teams are watching is in a locker room, and.
Speaker 1 (14:38):
So two or three other teams try. Things start happening.
The U s C. South Carolina's mascot took a poop
on Clemson's pall the handlers the chicken.
Speaker 4 (14:53):
It's talk about the human over it, talking about an animal.
Speaker 1 (14:55):
Animal, so you so they have the game, have a
big chicken, okay, and they and I don't know how
intentional it was, they walked him out to midfield. The
chicken took a poop.
Speaker 2 (15:05):
She puts his homet on.
Speaker 4 (15:09):
We got people throwing stuff like it's gone.
Speaker 2 (15:12):
Listen.
Speaker 4 (15:13):
What you don't do is you don't leave your boys.
I would have stayed around the white jerseys. If I'm white,
I wouldn't have got all up in that rid. They
going at my man eleven over here to the right,
going at it like it's it is, got tell us back.
It is a lot happening out there. And then there's
also other jerseys walking away. They walk into locker room, and.
Speaker 2 (15:31):
Then what's great is there's a there's actually like the
the like f C, A prayer huddle that's happening like
over here, there's like only four people doing yeah. Uh,
like I mean it was here's where I want to
like take us next? Does like this game matters for sure?
Speaker 4 (15:49):
That question?
Speaker 2 (15:51):
It used to matter a lot more because what is
used to mean is Ohio State was out of the
Big Ten championship, which they are now it's Penn State, Oregon,
and it would mean they're also out of the College
Football Playoff. They're not one of the four best teams.
You're gone, right, they're gonna make it in. Yeah, and
with an at large bid they're gonna make it in
for sure. Has the expanded playoff already started to cheapen
(16:16):
these games from a national level?
Speaker 4 (16:18):
Yes, we'll rip the flag off. We'll rip the flag
off the pole.
Speaker 1 (16:24):
This is still happening because the machine guy took the
flag through the Ohio State team like he started.
Speaker 4 (16:31):
Oh he failed out now punches. Listen, man, it's and
I've never been in a brawl, I can tell you that.
Speaker 2 (16:38):
Right now.
Speaker 4 (16:38):
We got people. We got a young lady holding her
phone up in beige over here' just like I don't
want to get too close, but I want to get
this for the scoop. But it seems like that's the
worst place to be in that and being in a
mosh pit with a lot of thirty five year old
white man out here with long beards and nobody hygiene
like this seems like the two worst places to ever
be in right there, situationally, But back to your question
(17:01):
here about on a national level, I don't think so.
I think because this age is capital I think this
game is going to whether they both come in five
and and five, I think specifically, uh, for this game,
for this rivalry, I think it's gonna always feel like this,
whether they are both going to the championship opportunities, the
(17:21):
playoffs in general or not. This is what he been
doing the whole time.
Speaker 2 (17:25):
What happened? He literally says what happened?
Speaker 1 (17:27):
But this is the reason.
Speaker 2 (17:28):
Five minutes in and he's like, what happened? You lost, dude,
That's what happened.
Speaker 1 (17:34):
And that's what I think. Like all the fans are
mad because they're just like, where was this fight the
entire whole game?
Speaker 4 (17:40):
Yeah, so, and and I get it.
Speaker 1 (17:43):
It's it's silly. It's silly to care about the team
planting a flag on your field.
Speaker 4 (17:48):
Oh flap planting, U that flag planting and anything else
like that. It's gonna be big trouble. Next year, it's
gonna be big trouble. Now it's suspensions.
Speaker 2 (18:00):
Though. Is the n C double A find both of
the teams one hundred thousand dollars?
Speaker 4 (18:06):
That's it.
Speaker 2 (18:09):
Every player on this it's make it one hundred thousand dollars.
Speaker 4 (18:12):
They get it, They get get it today. Does I
hear you want this one pocket you want to get?
Speaker 2 (18:17):
I got what you want. You gotta make it hurt,
so you gotta make it hurt. I think they had
the full time. There was some other great rivalries with fights.
Here's the way I want to go with this college
football conversation to wrap it up, because we got so
much to get to today. There are really four teams
on the bubble as of today. You have South Carolina,
(18:38):
which is arguably the hottest team in college football today.
On them, Bro that quarterback, salers, that quarterback he say something.
I'm gonna say something. They will win a national championship.
If that man stays at South Carolina, that is Cam
Newton incarnate. Everyone else thinks they have Cam new and reincarnate.
(19:01):
I watched that man run man. I have not seen
that athleticism since watching Cam Newton play at Auburn. It
stays insane, he got rid of the spectacles and he
became a superhero. Sellers is legit. No one wants to
see South Carolina in the playoff, including this guy.
Speaker 4 (19:20):
Fair statement.
Speaker 2 (19:21):
I don't want to see fair statement. Ole miss who
beat two of the teams that will be in the playoffs,
maybe three? Did they beat Tennessee? I don't even know
they played Tennessee.
Speaker 4 (19:32):
Actually at least two.
Speaker 3 (19:33):
They don't mean they played.
Speaker 2 (19:34):
So they beat two of the teams. They beat Alabama, Well,
Alabama's on the bubble. They beat Georgia badly at home.
You got Bama on the bubble, Bama who beat Georgia.
Also the two Georgia losses on the bubble. And then
you have Miami who just Leiden naggets.
Speaker 4 (19:51):
Syracuse that that Mammy loss and at Colorado loss who
could have got to the Big tourch championship. Those were
just two games. I was like, y'all didn't that show
up to play?
Speaker 5 (20:00):
So but anyway, back to those four here who won
the bubble. You're saying, which one do you think who's in?
Speaker 4 (20:05):
Well? On who I want to see level, That's where
I just want to go as a as a solid
college football fan. I want to see Cam Moore just
because I think he is. He has the potential uh
to be a really good quarterback on Sundays, and I
(20:25):
want to see that a little bit more in the
brightest lights, on the biggest stages, you know what I'm saying.
So that's that would be my my route.
Speaker 2 (20:33):
It's a shame that their defense probably the reason they're
not going.
Speaker 4 (20:39):
The defense.
Speaker 2 (20:40):
I think they're the least likely team to get in.
I don't think that's necessarily fair. But they lost the tech.
Speaker 4 (20:47):
They guess somebody losses. They got some toughness for sure.
What y'all got?
Speaker 2 (20:51):
Who do you think is in? Man?
Speaker 1 (20:55):
I I don't. I don't know because because the thing is,
I don't because I think Georgia is going to beat Texas.
So I think the SEC.
Speaker 2 (21:02):
Is how fast to beat a good team twice?
Speaker 1 (21:04):
But it is, But I don't. I don't think any
coach not named Nick sabans beating Kirby twice in a year.
Speaker 2 (21:10):
Well they yeah, sure, Well they didn't beat Georgia the
first time.
Speaker 1 (21:16):
Oh man, that's right, I'm I know. I completely have
those flips. Because Georgia lost Alabama, they beat.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
Sexas George is not losing Alabama again.
Speaker 1 (21:27):
I can tell you that George is not losing Alabama again.
I know that.
Speaker 2 (21:30):
But I think Alabama has Kargis Mars number. We can
we can play Island.
Speaker 1 (21:35):
In my mind, Georgia lost Texas.
Speaker 4 (21:36):
You they have.
Speaker 2 (21:37):
They went into Texas and and they won. Convinced. So
who's in?
Speaker 1 (21:43):
I think I think the SEC the the way that
I'm looking at it right now, They've got Georgia and
Tennessee in the in that first match.
Speaker 2 (21:50):
Tennessee's in Tennessee's. They won't put that. They won't rank
the teams that way, so that there's an SEC versus
SEC in the in the first round. But Tennis season
put that trega sign just it's a guest due.
Speaker 1 (22:07):
To put them in. I think the committee is gonna
get as many SEC teams in there well.
Speaker 2 (22:13):
I think the question is is that South Carolina or Obama?
And here is the ultimate debate in college football today,
which is they played head to head they did and
Bama beat them. They did, So the question is does
the season matter or is it who is the hottest now?
Because if they played again, I think we all would
(22:34):
say Bama's trending down. South Carolina is trending up. But
they played head to head, and this is where I
don't want to put Bama in. I think that they've
they've gotten the past too many times and that I
don't think they deserve to be in this twelve team playoff.
But the full season has to matter, and if we
(22:55):
are going to start to that, that is the only
thing college football has left against the NFL.
Speaker 4 (23:00):
Who's got an uglier, uglier loss.
Speaker 2 (23:02):
Yes, that is college football right now. That's the last
thing they have to not be compared directly to the NFL,
which is a superior product in every way, every way possible.
And the drama is the last bit that we have left,
the full season drama. So for that reason, I think
it has to have and I think they have to
go in as like a twelve seed and they have
to go to five seed and and go up to
(23:26):
Notre Dame and beat Notre Dame in the snow in
order to make.
Speaker 4 (23:29):
It Notre Dame. Let me just say this, I need
somebody's VPN because I'm putting all my money on Oregon.
That's all I want to say. I think you're right,
they are a pound for pound, the best team in
the country.
Speaker 2 (23:41):
They have, they have the best quarterback outside of Sellers
right now, they have the best defense period and so
I think they're the only holistic.
Speaker 4 (23:53):
Team top to bottom.
Speaker 2 (23:54):
Now have they been tested. Ohio State looks questionable. So
with that being the biggest win, that that becomes problem. Like,
we're gonna find out Penn State's a good team.
Speaker 4 (24:05):
She's a good team.
Speaker 2 (24:06):
We're gonna find out the ten Championship what they're all about.
But what I'm most excited for is to watch warm
weather teams go to cold weather places to play these
at these away games in this first round. Uh, it's
gonna be interesting. So you got Bama, South Carolina and
Miami hosts and dreams.
Speaker 4 (24:26):
We'll say, no old miss, here we go.
Speaker 2 (24:28):
They're out.
Speaker 4 (24:29):
Every time I see them in those retro jerseys, it
just thinks Confederacy and I'm out. Every time I see
that powder blue, I'm just like, really, Jefferson Davis beat it.
I'm out, I'm out, get out of here.
Speaker 2 (24:39):
Side Lane Kiffen doesn't doesn't help the situation.
Speaker 4 (24:43):
Oh he pro Jefferson Davis get out of here.
Speaker 2 (24:46):
It kind of looks like he would have fought for
the Confederates.
Speaker 4 (24:48):
Oh yeah, he like he had a little mustache and
a little hat. This kind of like this.
Speaker 2 (24:51):
He was like in the North. He's like, I'm going
back South.
Speaker 4 (24:53):
I'm going back with my papa. Yeah, papa's dead.
Speaker 1 (24:57):
Yeah he's got he's got the biaber bangs after forty.
That's that's a dead giveaway. All right, next topic, let's
talk a little in the NFL. We got a few
NFL topics. Let's let's first talk. Let's talk love, because
we don't. We don't talk love on here much. And
that is the Josh Allen and Hailey Steinfeld. It's not Seinfeld.
Speaker 2 (25:18):
You want me to tell you I love you more?
Is that what you're saying. No, there's so much love
hates when people touch it.
Speaker 1 (25:23):
I'm not the shoulders. I'm not a fan of shoulders.
Speaker 4 (25:26):
A good massage, bro, that's what don't a good massage?
Massage are good?
Speaker 1 (25:31):
I have I have one massages that I've given away
because massages stressed me out.
Speaker 3 (25:36):
He can I have the next massage?
Speaker 1 (25:38):
You went, absolutely, I've gotten a massage.
Speaker 4 (25:41):
Maybe let me get a second behind it? Massides twelve
days ago. I'm like, I need to book it.
Speaker 1 (25:47):
I got a massage once and she commented on how
much more tense I was getting.
Speaker 4 (25:51):
Yeah, how old were you in this massage?
Speaker 1 (25:55):
Early twenties.
Speaker 4 (25:56):
Yeah, they don't count. You're still trying to get used
to it. Women do like it's a lot happening. I
think you're more settled. I mean it's honestly, I think
you're more settled as a human. You're in a better
place assumingly, mentally, and holistically.
Speaker 2 (26:07):
And that was the most intimate one.
Speaker 4 (26:09):
I'm saying like jokes, and I'm saying that for no,
I'm being straight serious, like straight up. But now you
know what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (26:16):
There's been a little bit more and touching.
Speaker 4 (26:19):
Yeah, yeah, go get a couple's massage, y'all both hear
nice room to massuicide here. It's a dope date night,
for sure. It's a good vibe. I'm just letting y'all know,
rock with me here, Josh, Oh, that's also true. I've
had a man that's a good time. Just straight up. Hey,
how you want to tell medium hard medium? But we're
going to work that. Maybe that's maybe that maybe the
move to get the service well done, you may need
(26:41):
to just go to the feller a preference.
Speaker 1 (26:43):
I've never asked for a woman.
Speaker 4 (26:45):
Well you you only had it once, So you're talking
like you had a buffet of options, So settle down.
I've never came in and said blonde. No you haven't. Okay,
that's a differents You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (26:59):
Korean Steinfeld are engaged.
Speaker 4 (27:01):
Got good beef, So three beef.
Speaker 2 (27:04):
Josh Allen is my favorite football player in.
Speaker 4 (27:08):
The world currently, right now period.
Speaker 2 (27:10):
Okay, that man loves football. He does love football, and
I love watching him play football.
Speaker 4 (27:15):
Great player.
Speaker 2 (27:16):
Did you guys see this play from this past Sunday
in the snow game where he got the he's following
the play. I'm like, I was like, how many times
is that a potential in a football game? But because
of the paradigm of like I don't want to lose
the game, or like I don't want to get hurt,
people don't follow the play Josh Allen in a snow game.
(27:38):
We're gonna talk snow games in a bit teaser. Josh
Allen's my favorite.
Speaker 4 (27:41):
Favorite player right now.
Speaker 1 (27:42):
I'll also say the older I get the worst. I
am with ages, and I see that with like celebrities
and athletes where like in my mind, Hailey Steinfeld's twenty
and Josh Allen is thirty. But and I think they're
both like twenty six.
Speaker 4 (28:00):
Yeah, they're probably both.
Speaker 2 (28:01):
What's this thing about Josh Allen's ex girlfriend got hacked?
Speaker 4 (28:05):
No, no, no, where about did We're not talking about it.
We don't bring up ex. I don't bring up.
Speaker 2 (28:13):
That was Uh, I had this.
Speaker 1 (28:23):
I had this come up to Darren speaking of we
talked about parades a little bit.
Speaker 3 (28:26):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (28:27):
There were so many performers that I was like, no idea,
no idea.
Speaker 2 (28:31):
That was the Thanksgiving Day parade really specialized though in
c list like way too old, way too young, Like
no one's in their prime there. You're either on the
way up, you've been out, you've been gone.
Speaker 4 (28:46):
This is the best gig you got this year.
Speaker 2 (28:49):
They put you up at the plaza. They said, you're
going to do this for an hour, not a limb.
Speaker 1 (28:54):
But I also, I was no idea. They were dating.
Speaker 4 (28:58):
Uh No, that's that's how a good relationship goes.
Speaker 2 (29:01):
Yeah, you said that, like do I should we should?
I know this Steinfield woman.
Speaker 1 (29:06):
So she was I the first time I saw her
was true grit. When they remade true grit. Okay, she
was in the Hawkeye TV show.
Speaker 4 (29:16):
That's true, miss that.
Speaker 1 (29:18):
I mean, she's been in a lot of stuff. I
think she's a.
Speaker 2 (29:20):
She's an actress.
Speaker 4 (29:21):
She's an actress.
Speaker 1 (29:22):
She tried to do some music for a little bit.
Speaker 4 (29:24):
You got to give her I m b D.
Speaker 1 (29:25):
But Disney tried for a minute.
Speaker 4 (29:28):
Yeah, she's trivia, righty. You need her to be Yoma sous.
Speaker 1 (29:34):
Yeah, this Hailey Steinfield trivia. She has been in several.
Speaker 4 (29:40):
Moving on, got it check, we got I follow. I
want to get back to what you said for a
secondfore we move on. You said Josh is your favorite
player right now? Right? Do you think he's the best
player right now? Okay, because those are those words are different.
I can be the same, but they are different. Enjoy
watching him play.
Speaker 2 (30:01):
He just he's there. He I think he legitimately would
play on the minimums, like he's going to be the quarterback.
Speaker 4 (30:07):
Got you?
Speaker 2 (30:07):
That's like, Hey, I want to play ownership in the
in the in the bills, like cut my salary.
Speaker 4 (30:13):
Yeah yeah, I want to be here.
Speaker 2 (30:15):
Pay the other guys.
Speaker 4 (30:16):
Yeah, I'm here.
Speaker 2 (30:16):
Put a team around me.
Speaker 4 (30:17):
I got you, I got you.
Speaker 2 (30:18):
There's I know that that's like a bygone era in
like professional athletics.
Speaker 4 (30:23):
I'm with you, but I bring that up to say
because this is I want to slide. Keep this conversation here,
but connected to m v P because my favorite player
to watch right now is Saquon Barkley, who, according to
odds and if you have been watching football the eye
test and consistency, Josh Allen and Saquon Barkley are playing
(30:44):
the best m VP level bass of excuse me football,
uh and are the best MVP candidates right now? Do
you stick with those eyes as well?
Speaker 3 (30:53):
Right here?
Speaker 4 (30:53):
Do you keeping up with that m v P mark, I.
Speaker 1 (30:55):
Don't really keep up with MVP.
Speaker 5 (30:56):
Okay, okay, got you? So they are playing the best.
Speaker 4 (30:59):
I'm a big fan of bar here watching him play,
I mean as a former running back and just a
lover of just that position, specifically him on the pace
to break Eric Dickerson.
Speaker 1 (31:08):
The watching him play with Joy Joy.
Speaker 5 (31:12):
A great offensive line skill players.
Speaker 4 (31:15):
I don't think he's played this freeze Ricky Year, you
know what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (31:19):
Like he's been definitely bogged down by the Giants, bogged
down by that organization.
Speaker 4 (31:23):
Yeah, a couple of injuries a couple of seasons, like
what a terrible organization? Top top three of the worst.
Speaker 2 (31:31):
Did you guys see the Vikings head coach basically like
reached sent up the like flair to Daniel Jones to
basically be like organizations rule ruined. Oh yeah, quarterbacks, It's
not the other way around here, And and I was
really appreciative of that because I think that these quarterbacks,
whether you're looking at Bryce Young and Carolina or some
(31:51):
of the these amazing wis in college, go to these
places high level prediction, high level squared up as a bus,
and really there's an organizational issue there. We're seeing it
in with Sam Darnold with the Vikings right now.
Speaker 4 (32:06):
Yeah, Baker Mayfield totally you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (32:08):
And you put these guys in the right situations, they're
gonna win. And I just think it's helpful within the
professional football realms to be like it. Just because they
are drafted early, it actually means they're going to a
terrible organization who they're not set up for success from.
Speaker 4 (32:23):
If you go, if you start, and this is gonna
get niche for a second, so forgive me here, but
if a comic respectfully starts in austin it nine times
out of ten. It's probably not gonna go well with comedy.
You could do that. In business, you could do that. Whatever.
Cas can be like where I prop you in. You
put a kid in a bad family and they can
look up at eighteen and be a douche. This is
the world we live in, you know what I'm saying, right,
(32:45):
So that matters. That order matters, that structure matters. So
if we're gonna say, specifically Americans that this the quarterback,
the quarterbacks position specificly is the hardest position in sports.
Speaker 5 (32:56):
This is a twenty to twenty two year roll coming
out who.
Speaker 4 (33:01):
Played at a high level. Let's be specific, played at
a high level. Put them here, give you money system,
et cetera. Play the hardest position as a rookie. Not
sit them for a year, now for two years, not
for twelve games. Day one against this thirty two year
old man who's all Pro for eight years on the edge,
and I'm like, hey, bro, your bus out of twelve
game sit on the bench, just like what I think.
(33:22):
We got a lot of issues we got to address.
Speaker 1 (33:24):
Also, we're giving you a rookie defensive mind head.
Speaker 4 (33:27):
Coach that, and you've got one offensive lineman and he's
on the right guard position. Yeah, be well, so now
I hear you on that for sure. And Josh Allen
les sorry, Josh Allen wasn't greatest first year going back
to your favorite player here, right, you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (33:40):
So it's like, hes, guys, everybody an't.
Speaker 4 (33:42):
Going to be mahomes who pull up and like you'll
win an AFC championship game.
Speaker 1 (33:45):
The only thing, guys you see, I think have decent
first years. I feel like our guys that are athletic
and are running for their lives and you don't have tape.
Speaker 4 (33:56):
On you or like Big Ben. Everything else is set
up defense the baddest a championship coach. It's like, hey,
give me fifteen out of twenty two for one hundred
and eighty two yards and ang boom we win.
Speaker 1 (34:07):
Lock it in, uh, Baker Mayfield as soon as Dad's company.
Speaker 4 (34:11):
That's tough. That's tough.
Speaker 1 (34:13):
That is tough. So I believe it's a twelve million
or one point yeah, twelve million.
Speaker 4 (34:18):
I like how the article started with uh in no
disrespect because I forgot her against Emily, But it was
like Baker and Emily Mayfield was like, oh they tacked,
they locked in. Daddy did them wrong?
Speaker 1 (34:28):
So claiming they transferred twelve million dollars from make from
Mayfield three years. I've been taking money for three authorization.
Come on, Papa, the money. The lawsuit claims the father's
company used the money however they desired, including to fund
acquisitions or cover general operating expense.
Speaker 4 (34:48):
Come on, Papa. I want I want to go big.
I want to go specific for a second. We all
love our dads, right, love our fathers. Yep, this is
right here. When I when I dropped this story link
into the note and I read like three paragraphs, I
was like, dead decision, and I'm gonna put all conjection assumptions.
I'm assuming the best that they before this moment had
(35:08):
a good relationship, right, the thought process, the discussions with
your wife and your team and et cetera. I don't
know if I can even fathom that, bro.
Speaker 2 (35:19):
This is this is what happens when you mix family
and money. I've hardcore. If you're if anyone in our family,
extended family, whatever, they need something, I treat them like
homeless people. What do you need? What do you need
I'm gonna take you and I'm gonna get you what
you need. Uh, and then we're gonna we're gonna do
(35:41):
with it whatever the needs are.
Speaker 4 (35:43):
I'm gonna figure it out.
Speaker 2 (35:45):
Like someone needs soccer cleeds, someone needs we.
Speaker 5 (35:47):
Gotta buy me and run the dicks right now, bro,
we go like.
Speaker 2 (35:50):
We can take care of, like we can share, we
can take care of and take. But what we're not
gonna do is share financial resources. I'm out of that
is hey, that is that is not for family, because
it always ends like, oh, I didn't expect you to
do X, Y and Z. I was on a phone
call last night with a friend who her uncle bought
(36:13):
her her grandmother's house for ten dollars because he was
the executor of the state, bought the house for ten dollars,
moved into an LLC, and now they're now they're they're
in a lawsuit and you're just like absolutely like this
is why this doesn't go well. And also I really
hope they do whatever State Farm commercial Baker makes a
joke about this or whatever whenever he's camping out inside
(36:36):
the stadium.
Speaker 4 (36:37):
That's tough. That's that's that's tough right there. Just on
a you know what I'm saying, Owens, You're just daddy Owens,
just like Yo, man, I'm taking I'm taking the money
on the low.
Speaker 1 (36:46):
It's brutal.
Speaker 4 (36:46):
That's tough.
Speaker 3 (36:47):
It would be.
Speaker 1 (36:49):
I don't know how you come back from that.
Speaker 4 (36:52):
Oh we don't.
Speaker 2 (36:54):
Yeah you don't.
Speaker 4 (36:54):
Oh yeah, I cut people quick, bro, Yeah I have to.
Theyved have had a different different apece is about this.
I cut people quick. I don't look behind. What I
will say is I can I can forget and move on,
but I'm not gonna forget it.
Speaker 1 (37:08):
And maybe maybe that's that's a different for forgiveness versus
because that's that's that's what that Actually we talk about
a lot. It's like there's still consequences, and the consequence
is you hurt this relationship hard.
Speaker 2 (37:23):
Trust. The trust is gone trust.
Speaker 1 (37:24):
Like I don't have to reconcile.
Speaker 2 (37:26):
But here's the deal. Would this be an issue if
Baker Mayfield was Tom Brady? What you mean if twelve
million dollars is a rounding error in your account? I
don't know that this is like, this is this is
dealt with privately?
Speaker 4 (37:41):
Oh I got you, we we this.
Speaker 2 (37:43):
Doesn't hit the news. The deal with Baker is that
this was a significant part of whatever contract he's on
in Tampa right now because he's he has he has
to prove himself before he gets paid again.
Speaker 4 (37:54):
No, he just got paid.
Speaker 2 (37:55):
So but this man knows the value, yeah, saying he's
been grinding. Yeah yeah, team team, Yeah, minimum contracts, tracts.
Speaker 4 (38:05):
I see what you're saying. Uh yeah, I think I
think it does. I think it does a bit. You know,
just how like in court cases and things like that
Rock and Roll out there, Uh you know, uh Tom,
you know Rogers like, hey, we handled this.
Speaker 2 (38:19):
You don't get access anymore.
Speaker 4 (38:20):
Yeah, you're boomba boom. We figured that out. We keep
pushing your dad to me respectfully, and we keep pushing
right there. So you want to see the grand kids.
That hope you enjoyed the twelve milk, all right, you
know what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (38:28):
I hope those acquisitions.
Speaker 4 (38:31):
I hope you enjoyed the island, bro, because it's just
you went at twenty two year old over there, so
I enjoyed yourself. But no, I definitely think it does.
But him who went team to team, you know, was
considered a bus leveland Cleveland and things like that.
Speaker 5 (38:43):
Uh yeah, that twelve milk came out a couple of articles.
Speaker 1 (38:46):
All right, let's talk and ba Okay, how much are
you all enjoying the NBA Cup this year?
Speaker 4 (38:50):
I have seen none of it?
Speaker 1 (38:52):
Oh okay, yeah, because last year y'all were all about it.
Speaker 4 (38:55):
Not him. He doesn't watch it too, doesn't I was
all that last year?
Speaker 1 (38:58):
Yeah? Yeah, and the newness is worn awful. What's what's
the no?
Speaker 4 (39:01):
I think life is just life and sports bro. Life
dictates my sports watching. Yeah, life dictates watches. I don't
feel like I'm seeing any hype about it this year.
Yeah people are.
Speaker 1 (39:12):
It feels like such a slog to get through this year.
Speaker 4 (39:15):
Yeah. If I catch a highlight, I realized the court's different,
and I'm like, oh, the Cup is happening. But otherwise
I'm not.
Speaker 2 (39:22):
The court is the only reason I know about it,
the reason courts are wild.
Speaker 4 (39:26):
Yeah, they are wild. Like that turn my contrast down
that what has happened right now?
Speaker 2 (39:31):
I also I also think that they're you know, there's
not a young superstar who's like going in on the
Cup games where you're where it feels like, oh, they
have no shot at the championship this year. For X,
Y and Z reasons. But this young team is gonna
make a deep run in this Cup and we're gonna
get to see what the future of the NBA looks like.
I feel like that was a storyline last year, and
(39:53):
I feel like this year it's just.
Speaker 1 (39:54):
Like you don't have Halliburton.
Speaker 4 (39:56):
Yeah, probably, I'm probably gonna do Dan's rout and probably
not watched NBA really for real, for real to post
All Star Break, just straight up, it's probably gonna be
NFL College Football Super Bowl and then we'll probably you know,
go from there, lock in for there. I could. I
couldn't tell you who who You've been in the heavy
I'm assuming.
Speaker 1 (40:13):
I mean, I keep up with the Hawks, I keep
up with the top five teams.
Speaker 4 (40:16):
You'll be keeping up. You'll be keeping up.
Speaker 1 (40:18):
The NBA is the top.
Speaker 4 (40:19):
I think our schedules are a little different. US too,
is a little different schedules.
Speaker 1 (40:23):
Yeah, I have a little bit more.
Speaker 2 (40:24):
An NBA game, a college football.
Speaker 4 (40:26):
Game in the NFL game at the same time.
Speaker 2 (40:28):
At the same time. What are you watching?
Speaker 1 (40:30):
If the college football game is the top fifteen matchup,
you're watching, it's that over the NFL.
Speaker 4 (40:36):
If it's the Falcons, Falcons, Vikings, Cousins home coming.
Speaker 1 (40:39):
Bro No, I'm going I'm going NFL okay top thanks
college football and the n NBA, NBA or NFL NBA college.
Speaker 2 (40:49):
Can we do two rapid topics.
Speaker 4 (40:51):
Let's go Rabbit.
Speaker 2 (40:53):
Kirk Cousins bust No not yet. Six interceptions in two games.
Speaker 1 (40:58):
Well, it's bad, He's he's not He's not playing great.
But I don't think he's been healthy all year, and
I think the Falcons haven't been honest about that. I
don't think Kirk's been honest about that. I don't think
Pennicks starting Pinicks at this point is the answer. I
think Pinnick should have started the season and given Kirk
three or four more weeks to get healthy.
Speaker 4 (41:19):
I agree with that one because they are in first
in the division. They beat the Tampa Bay Books twice,
same record. Two. I think people are underestimating age and Achilles.
I think Kevin Durant did it when he was like
twenty nine. Big boy, my man is thirty five to
thirty seven. Shout out to Riders who was terrible over there.
(41:39):
And so I think you're right that more time to
be fully healed as a quarterback. I think was I
just think the.
Speaker 1 (41:47):
Chargers in the Broncos are much better than people give them. True,
but again six nasty work. But also he wicked. Oh
ok and he says you should should sing in the theater.
Speaker 2 (41:58):
He would love the wicked.
Speaker 4 (41:59):
That's hers.
Speaker 2 (42:00):
West Virginia in need of a head coach. Who are
your top three realistic RAPI file choices for West Virginia
to get a head coach to dig them out of this.
Just they're they're in a league that they should win,
can win historically. That like, they're a team that has
won national championships. They have a good brand. Who who's
(42:24):
the coach coming in that's going to that cares about
West Virginia the era. Who's the Brent Key for West Virginia?
Speaker 1 (42:31):
Okay, you got it's Pat White?
Speaker 4 (42:35):
Pat White, the former player Pat White.
Speaker 1 (42:37):
He spent time in the NFL coaching. Okay, he was
with the Dolphins for a while, with the Chargers for
a while. Now I think he's with he's coaching some
high school team. Okay, give an opportunity, to give an
opportunity bring him back.
Speaker 4 (42:51):
I like it.
Speaker 1 (42:52):
He's the I think he's he was the the architect
of the greatest era of West Virginia sports.
Speaker 4 (42:57):
Best best West Virginia history. Hands damn sure.
Speaker 1 (43:00):
You bring back that nostalgia of that era the school. Obviously,
it's going to repair the relationship with McAfee, which.
Speaker 4 (43:07):
The school needs.
Speaker 1 (43:09):
He played it. Do you want that relationship?
Speaker 4 (43:13):
You want that, you want that anyway that you want.
Speaker 2 (43:21):
This man's out here wearing Bama jerseys. Oh yeah, he
has a bam of jersey on his uh background.
Speaker 1 (43:28):
And and Brown I think came in and kind of
hurt that relationship a little bit because he's just he
wanted to. I think he did. I think he did
the right thing of like, I'm going to establish my
culture and his is very different than mcaffee, so he
I think he hurts some feelings initially. So I think
you bring in Pat White and you let him create
his own thing. But that's I think for a school
(43:50):
like West Virginia, you're not getting a big name unless
it's a stepping stone. So your job is to either
I'm I'm letting a big name re build who they are.
You're bringing somebody in after a scandal urban and giving
them I don't want it.
Speaker 2 (44:05):
It'll work for start in Texas.
Speaker 1 (44:07):
But that's that's that's if you're West Virginia, these are
your roles. Fact, I'm bringing you in after a scandal.
Let you repair your relationship.
Speaker 4 (44:15):
Get a couple of conference championships, Honey, your bell or.
Speaker 1 (44:17):
I'm giving a young guy a chance, and I'm going
to be Vandy and I'm going to surprise team two
or three years, and then I'm going to get looted
every four years by bigger schools.
Speaker 2 (44:27):
Which happens at Georgia. I mean it happens in every
Every school is getting.
Speaker 1 (44:31):
Lead at this point. If you're West Virginia, though, you
need to find an insane, personality driven coach.
Speaker 4 (44:38):
Did you did you give him that question before the show?
That was a well done answer. I get prepped on that.
Speaker 1 (44:43):
I can good the amount of hours that I involuntarily
think about West Virginia.
Speaker 4 (44:49):
But the fact that you were following Pat White's college
coaching career.
Speaker 1 (44:53):
What has been so many times that I have tweeted
at West Virginia. I'm like, please just hind this man.
Speaker 4 (44:58):
We know you have brothers, we know you go to
Blue Sky and relax.
Speaker 1 (45:02):
I was on Blue Skott for two weeks before I
started tweeting the fire Niel Brown. I thought this was
a new different energy. I thought it was a new beginning.
And I was on there like, man, this is great.
All my all my faves are back. We're all hanging
out watching college football. In one quarter into West Virginia,
Texas Tech. I was like fire, this spand s.
Speaker 3 (45:25):
Talk.
Speaker 1 (45:26):
Wizards didn't win a game in November. That was bad,
but they did beat the Hawks twice in September. But
the Hawks were the only team to beat Boston and Cleveland.
They beat Cleveland twice. It's insane. It is an absolutely
(45:47):
insane y'all want to talk about how lucky the Chiefs are?
Uh dame in did this one hit close to home
yet against your Raiders?
Speaker 4 (45:54):
Not at all?
Speaker 3 (45:55):
You know.
Speaker 4 (45:55):
Two thoughts. One, the Chiefs are not lucky?
Speaker 1 (45:59):
How would you how would you describe them?
Speaker 3 (46:01):
What you mean?
Speaker 1 (46:02):
Because this is this is obviously I think.
Speaker 4 (46:04):
The Chiefs are the best team in football. That's how
I describe them. With the best planning planet.
Speaker 2 (46:10):
I don't believe in luck, So I'm with.
Speaker 4 (46:13):
I don't know if you will telling about the two
time defendited champs with two time vople winning Super Bowl
winner right here.
Speaker 1 (46:18):
So I think this is the worst eleven and one
team we've ever seen.
Speaker 4 (46:21):
I can't disagree with that. I also, I'm not gonna
call them lucky. With Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reed and
two Super Bowl banners looking up, three Super Bowl banners looking.
Speaker 1 (46:29):
Up, I'm talking about this year me too.
Speaker 4 (46:31):
I'm talking about the fact that they're going for a
three people this year.
Speaker 2 (46:34):
I think that they're gonna get everybody's best shot, everybody
best shot, and I think people teams crack under the
pressure of being on I just said that the day
against them, you're trying to knock the giant off and
the pressure.
Speaker 4 (46:48):
Everybody can't handle the pressure. Let me sit up because
now I got tough. So they are too, all right,
I'm gonna give you for thirty seconds. So two things. One,
best team, best planet, best interior defender, they're best coach,
hold up, best tight end. So you got all the
best right there. Bone that's one. Two the pressure thing underrated,
and I talked about enough. Three they are continue to
(47:10):
showcase that in the biggest moments. I think they are
nine and one or eight and oh something crazy good.
When they win by game seven or less. They can
handle the pressure, they can be down in clutch time.
They could be on the road, they could take it
two minutesana to get in field goal position. Mahomes get
a twelve yard scramble and get in the field goal
to win the game. Other teams haven't been able to
do that in those moments. So we get scared and
(47:31):
nervous and it's a step or we don't watch out
far toe when we step out of bounds right or
because our special teams, which is part of football, blocks
a field goal, the game is over right, These are
part of football. Right here, you gotta stay in bounds.
You gotta kick the black people who do the field
goals right here, you.
Speaker 5 (47:46):
Gotta catch the snaps.
Speaker 4 (47:47):
It's pressure. It's time. You're on the road. You're trying
to beat Mahomes and you don't. So I don't call
it luck. I call it them being prepared for the
biggest moments. So when you're on the road in Buffalo
and you're down by three, Mahomes ain't sweating because we've
won nine and oho in the regulars seas. So I
think that's why the best.
Speaker 1 (48:02):
Do you think though there's anything to a team, It
doesn't feel like they've had to face adversity because it
feels like in the sense that all of these wins
have come at the expense of the other team making
the mistake. So it doesn't feel like as many times
Mahomes has been the one to overcome anything.
Speaker 4 (48:21):
So here's the thing that's the impoint to though they've
been down a lot of these games, that's adversity to me.
They've been on the road for many of these games.
That's adversity to me. In this situation, they were down
a lot and the Bills whish they lost. They were
down against the Ravens at one point, and the Bengals,
which arguably three of the pound for pound better teams
or quarterbacks. That's a good way to put it. And
so right there, that's a piece of the postal right there.
They had to come back. They were up big against
(48:44):
the Panthers who have been playing really good shot the
Bryce Young post Benching, I've been playing really good ball
right there in a tough fight. So I think I
think they just are equipped with all the clutch moments, yep.
And that's just how I see it. Can Detroit do that?
Can Green Bay do that? You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (48:59):
We'll see we went across the NFL, we would say
if there was a similar situation, but those they had
lost some of those games, we would say, oh, they
have no like they're heard at running back, so of
course they lost this game. Dude, they're winning despite.
Speaker 4 (49:13):
Bring up the injuries. I ain't even bring up the injuries.
Speaker 2 (49:15):
So it is wild to me that they are overcoming
a key component of their offense, the read option. Right now,
it doesn't even work.
Speaker 4 (49:25):
The RPO Rice out, Holly Brown out, Juju was out,
Pa Checko was out multiple weeks.
Speaker 5 (49:30):
The left title, the left tackles are the worst left
tackle in football.
Speaker 4 (49:34):
And so yeah, I ain't even I ain't even bring
up that because that would be a quote unquote excuse.
Injuries is real. I ain't to bring it.
Speaker 1 (49:40):
Up, all right. So teams with double digit win talk
to me. Eagles, yep, Lions boom best to an NFC
Bill's Chiefs. Yeah, I mean, that's that's the championship and
you're taking the Chiefs, said Chiefs.
Speaker 4 (49:52):
The Lions. Check the record, baby, I said Chiefs. The
Lions at the beginning of the season.
Speaker 1 (49:57):
And still Chiefs. No hesitation, no hesitation, all right, they didn't.
Speaker 4 (50:02):
Feel the same way as Mahomes, giving us a reason
to doubt him.
Speaker 2 (50:04):
I would say that the margin for air is smaller,
which we've seen why they've played closer games. Sure, but
I think from when Patrick Mahomes drove down the field
at the very end of the Buffalo game, after the
Buffalo scored in the last couple of minutes and then
all of a sudden, the Chiefs pull out a miracle.
(50:25):
Ever since that AFC Championship game, I will never question.
Speaker 4 (50:29):
In conclusion, I'll say, is did we not have the
same storyline, if not worse with the Chiefs last year
they won the whole.
Speaker 2 (50:37):
Thing, so he he.
Speaker 1 (50:42):
I don't know if it was quite the same.
Speaker 4 (50:44):
It was worse because they had the most drops in
the league. They didn't they didn't have a rise in
Rashid Rice, they didn't have Xavier Worthy, they didn't have
Hollywood Brown, who were all hurt.
Speaker 1 (50:53):
I think I think beating the Panthers by three that
was the that was the most That was the more
worrying win. And then beating I think the Panthers by three,
the Raiders by two at home.
Speaker 4 (51:06):
Why is it worse.
Speaker 1 (51:07):
Because those are the two worst teams in the league.
And it felt like you eked by both of them,
versus having.
Speaker 4 (51:14):
A let me give you a status.
Speaker 1 (51:15):
I felt was like a confidence, let me.
Speaker 4 (51:17):
Make your status. You ain't gonna like here, But I'm
just a factual man. So when the Patriots were on
their Destiny run the first time, they won thirteen games
by I want to say, eleven eleven to twelve eleven
to thirteen games by seven points. So less as they
won their all these super Bowls, the Chiefs have done
(51:37):
one more than that. The era of blowing teams out
all the time, that's not one what they're doing. Shout
out to Tyreek, Keel and two great teams. They win
tough games.
Speaker 1 (51:48):
No, I get it. And you're really proving my point
for me by comparing this year's Chiefs two that they're
gonna win two thousands Patriots.
Speaker 4 (51:56):
They're gonna win, sure, yea it is.
Speaker 2 (51:59):
What is the point then, that you're making.
Speaker 1 (52:03):
That in close games they're gonna pull it out? There
we go because the NFL is gonna make sure they.
Speaker 2 (52:10):
See I knew it. I wanted him to say it
out loud.
Speaker 4 (52:13):
I was trying to get people a chance because I
like to assume I'm a man of assuming the best.
I was like, man, grow, it's almost twenty twenty five.
Speaker 2 (52:21):
Grow you think that all these fumbled don't do it?
Speaker 1 (52:26):
I don't do no.
Speaker 4 (52:26):
No.
Speaker 1 (52:26):
I teams, teams do lose their minds against the chiefs,
and I think refs are also ready. Okay, so when
the team has it together.
Speaker 2 (52:36):
Put your money where your mouth is.
Speaker 1 (52:38):
You take I don't have money.
Speaker 2 (52:39):
You take the field, he'll take the chiefs.
Speaker 4 (52:43):
Very simple, very simple.
Speaker 2 (52:44):
It doesn't have to be monetary. We can, we can,
you can figure out. You can figure out some steaks here.
Speaker 1 (52:51):
Why Why would I bet against a shadow government?
Speaker 3 (52:54):
Right?
Speaker 2 (52:56):
Why you are doing so?
Speaker 1 (52:59):
Do that? Why would I bet against the emperor.
Speaker 3 (53:02):
As a man, as a man on so many jersey
and sweatpants. You can't be talking about the shadow government
like you're just gonna have a bad image. It's a
slippery slow It's.
Speaker 4 (53:12):
A slippery slow, slippery slow.
Speaker 3 (53:15):
I can matching tracksuits right now, h And I.
Speaker 1 (53:19):
Can participate in something and also call out the evil
flaws in it as well.
Speaker 3 (53:25):
You can't do that.
Speaker 4 (53:26):
I can what you called hypocrisy.
Speaker 5 (53:31):
I don't like this flag be me, but I'm gonna
still rock with it.
Speaker 1 (53:36):
Win s Bowl.
Speaker 4 (53:38):
I'm pretty I'm pretty sure. We didn't have his podcast,
we wouldn't be we won't be frame. It just wouldn't connect.
It is because I wouldn't have to try to grow
with people. You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (53:49):
That's a team aspect.
Speaker 5 (53:51):
I wouldn't have to.
Speaker 4 (53:53):
Because if I if we take the podcast out, I'm
hearing stuff like that twice. I'm done. I'm out, Phone deleted, Facebook,
unfriended like shadow go next. I'm out.
Speaker 1 (54:07):
You guys can find me Fruary. As I watch my
next parade, I'll stay role ha.
Speaker 2 (54:16):
Nate says things and he believes in his chest, in
his heart.
Speaker 1 (54:19):
There's certain things about this podcast that a bit of
a character. There's certain that I let we'll not say,
not exaggerate, but we'll kind of filter off a bit
and go, yeah, I wouldn't have said that if the
mic hat and been back. This would be a fun conversation,
if I let my real opinion fly. No, this is
not one of them. Every single year, I believe one
hundred percent, wholeheartedly, the team that I love the most
(54:43):
will win.
Speaker 2 (54:44):
That's fine, I understand, fanship. What I don't understand is
seeing aliens everywhere you.
Speaker 1 (54:51):
Look at on a swivel. Man. Look, I am a
white ged recipient who grew up in World Georgia.
Speaker 4 (55:00):
Oh yeah, we definitely gonna be fir.
Speaker 1 (55:01):
I am literally on aliens lists. That is like, if
they are coming, if they are coming from any demographic, it's.
Speaker 2 (55:08):
Me the most targeted group in society.
Speaker 1 (55:13):
By aliens, uneducated rural whites. I've been targeted by aliens
more than anything.
Speaker 4 (55:20):
Let uneducated white male stand in my house for a year, bro,
this is crazy. That was a young damon.
Speaker 5 (55:25):
That was because this thirty eight year old daemon, We're

The government told us. The government said they were there,
and they just strategically told us as we were all
dying of COVID, we're all barely choking down our last breast,
and like, oh yeah, by the way, there's aliens.
Speaker 4 (55:54):
All right, when you get those two Taiwanese keys, you
don't need them aliens to build a playground in the backyard,
so chill out, all right.

Speaker 1 (56:26):
Damn that's true.
Speaker 4 (56:28):
Yeah, yeah, man, gotta play a game.
Speaker 1 (56:30):

Speaker 4 (56:32):
You know you haven't told us one yet.
Speaker 1 (56:35):
Well, you don't have to take your bens out there
always out.
Speaker 4 (56:37):
