May is mental health awareness month. As many of us either know or have known a narcissist, this is a very important topic that I can't wait to share with you all! Today, Laurie and I dive deeper into understanding narcissistic personalities. But you might be asking, what is a narcissist?

Initially, narcissistic abuse starts with 'small jab' comments. Over time, they grow and behavior changes. You might experience passive aggressiveness and/or the silent treatment. Narcissists are like mind ninjas!
As Laurie shares, "they will start to diminish your self-esteem...and you don't really feel it straight away." You might think, as Laurie also shared, "what's wrong with me...?"
Mental abuse is still abuse. Please remember that your emotions and thoughts are valid and that there is NOTHING wrong with you. Narcissists prey on those who are empathetic and use it against them. Remember your inner power and use this episode to empower you to show yourself compassion, acceptance, and love
