This week on The Final Word, Frangela is grieving, raging, and refusing to let the madness slide under the radar. We begin with the horrific shooting at Annunciation Catholic School, where 23-year-old Robin Westman fired through church windows, killing two children and injuring seventeen others. And right on cue, the “thoughts and prayers” brigade dusts off their empty platitudes while doing absolutely nothing to stop the violence. We’re not here for it.
Meanwhile in Portland, ICE—Trump’s personal army—gassed a public school into submission. Because apparently, protecting children now means traumatizing them with chemical weapons. The cruelty isn’t just the point—it’s the policy.
The FDA quietly revoked emergency use authorizations for COVID-19 vaccines and restricted access to new shots. And RFK Jr., aka Brain-Worm, fired the newly confirmed CDC director for the crime of not supporting Trump’s agenda. Science? Facts? Public health? Not in this administration.
Over at FEMA, at least 30 employees were placed on administrative leave after signing a letter warning that Trump’s leadership has left the agency unable to respond to major disasters. When the people tasked with saving lives are sidelined for telling the truth, something ain’t right.
And in Trump’s latest fantasy firing spree, he claims to have dismissed Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook over unproven mortgage fraud allegations. No evidence, no process, just vibes and vengeance.
But we end on a high note: Democrats flipped a Republican-held Iowa Senate seat, breaking the GOP’s supermajority. It’s a glimmer of hope in a week full of heartbreak.
Frangela’s got the fire, the fury, and the final word on a week that proves once again—if you’re not outraged, you’re not paying attention.
