Des Powell is a former SAS sergeant major and member of the 22 SAS regiment with a military career spanning over two decades in the heart of counter terrorism and special covert operations. Before joining the SAS, Des spent eight years in the Parachute Regiment specialising in unarmed combat and high-altitude free-fall parachuting while he advanced through the ranks as a certified physical training instructor for the 1st Battalion.
