Em Masafer Yatta, no sul da região, colonatos cresceram em tamanho, novos postos foram ganhando forma, colonos passaram a usar uniforme militar e armas mais poderosas, os ataques, raptos e detenções tornaram-se diários e a tortura nas prisões passou a ser um pesadelo. Para Sami Huraini, residente da aldeia de Twani e membro da Popular Struggle Coordination Committee e dos Youth of Sumud, esta a realidade é o dia-a-dia. Nesta entrevista, fala da resistência popular das comunidades de Masafer Yatta contra o regime sionista, e da sua decisão comum: não abandonar a terra.

[English] Since October 7, 2023, while all eyes were on Gaza, the Zionist colonial project expanded its control of the West Bank, mainly in Area C. In Masafer Yatta, in the south of the region, settlements grew in size, new outposts took shape, settlers began to wear military uniforms and more powerful weapons, attacks, kidnappings and arrests became daily and torture in prisons became a nightmare. For Sami Huraini, a resident of the village of Twani and a member of the Popular Struggle Coordination Committee and Youth of Sumud, this is everyday life. In this interview, he talks about the popular resistance of the Masafer Yatta communities against the Zionist regime, and their common decision: not to abandon the land.
