En España, al igual que ocurre muchos países de nuestro entorno, crece el interés por llevar una nutrición sana y equilibrada. El sobrepeso, la obesidad y las enfermedades derivadas se han convertido en un problema de salud que afecta a más de 1.500 millones de personas en todo el mundo. Muchos expertos señalan la necesidad de poner en marcha medidas educativas sobre la nutrición para evitar enfermedades y tener una buena salud.
Esta semana hablamos de la nutrición con Vanessa Martín, doctora en fisiología, médico especialista en nutrición humana y dietética y dietista-nutricionista en IVADI, Hospital la Fe y Obsalud Hospital La Salud; Ana Elbusto, médico nutricionista, miembro del grupo de Dietoterapia y Obesidad infantil y de la adolescencia de la Sociedad Española para el Estudio de la Obesidad (SEEDO); Miguel Herrero, doctor en Ciencia y Tecnología de los Alimentos, investigador científico en el Instituto de Investigación en Ciencias de la Alimentación (CIAL) del CSIC-UAM reconocimiento a su labor científica y autor de los "bulos de la nutrición", y Antonio Villarino, catedrático de Bioquímica, tesorero y miembro de la Junta Directiva de la Federación Española de Sociedades de Nutrición Alimentación y Dietética (FESNAD) y presidente de la Sociedad Española de Dietética y Ciencias de la Alimentación (SEDCA).
