(00:04):
One, get Jimmy out of here? Oh non do I shound where sweat
the best? I don't want tohurt your feelings. I just want you
to be sorry that you exist.Hello and welcome to the gamer Lamp Podcast.

(00:28):
I'm your host, Justin Worsham withme as always is the one,
the only, the sweater to myvest. Yeah, the the Kevin Miller
dot com jump and press a circleback with heaven. I am so pleased
that I googled that in time?Um, can you drink alcohol on Twitch?

(00:49):
What? I just googled to makesure that we weren't breaking something we
can't? You can use it,yes we can, but we are not
allowed to harm ourselves. So tobe clear, you can harm yourself,
but cannot be drinking at the sametime. That. Now here's where it
gets weird. Because my kid,I like to have a cigar from time
to time. Yeah, very fearvery rarely. You're not a huge cigar

(01:11):
guy, but it's more like inhomage to your father. No, my
dad never smoked cigars. He wasa pipe guy at a cigarette guy you
talk about. To be honestly, this is gonna sound crazy. I feel
like you had a whiskey and cigarparty, and I wanted to go so
bad and I couldn't go the nightthat you had it, and so I
was like cigars. So I waslike, I don't know anything about a
cigar really, So I went outand I bought some cigars and I learned

(01:34):
how to light them and I likedit. And so that was how it's
amazing, we need all, well, I need another cigar and whiskey party
though, so you can come around. So I bought cigars. I remember,
I think one time I said, hey, do you you want a
cigar? And you're like, ohyeah. It was like, oh you
do that thing. It comes upa lot because we host those parties often,
but I don't. I don't smoke. It's just so everybody else just

(01:57):
smokes in your backyard out everybody. Now that we have kids, there's less
smoking involved. We kind of breakit into two parties. There's like the
pre uh smoking party where everybody iss'mores and the kids hang out, and
then we put the kids to bed, and then more the like singles or
dads and stuff come around and theybring the cigars and it becomes a smoking
party. Singles and deaths so singleladies like to smoke cigars. Oh yeah,
yeah, yeah, yeah, Idon't know. Oh it's LA Yeah,

(02:20):
and moms will come around with cigarstoo. What's it? What's the
over under a number of tats ladieswho likes cigars have? Uh I three?
You mean like how many tattoos theyhave? Yes? Oh, yeah,
yeah, yeah? Or oh no. I guess a better way to
break that down is how many Howmany of the girls who like cigars also
have tattoos? Yeah, I thinkthat's that's pretty high. But I also

(02:42):
think there are lots of women inLA that have tattoos that don't smoke cigars.
What I'm trying to say is thattattoos are not an our usual thing.
Yeah, a subset of cigar smoker. Yeah, exactly. It's not
that it's not that strange for ladies. You're right, because I would argue,
in my mind of judgment, isthat that that if you have a

(03:02):
tattoo and you are of a ladypersuasion, that you always call those females
really ye never heard of it?Go on that you also like cigars.
See, and that's because you grewup on the last buckle of the Bible.
Belt where things are a kind ofrednecky, kind of kind of backwoodsie

(03:28):
conservative. There there's no part ofme that'swoods. There is atwood a little
you have you have a farmer likeroute to you in a way. Yes,
I grew up in a strictly urbansuburban environment. Yes, you and
I have very different childhoods in thatperspect of It's not bad. I'm just
saying you have a far more biggerunderstanding of agricultural farming life, what it

(03:53):
means to be in that environment. Then that's more Well, this is I'm
going to shoot myself in the foothere, but that's more families farmers.
That's a farmer analogy. See,if you grew up at the suburbs,
you'd say you drove, drove upfor your own foot, but you don't.
You don't have cars, you havetractors. Listen, I maybe eating

(04:13):
the pigeon. I'm feeding on this, but exactly I don't verstand what you
mean. You mean, like shootingyourself in the foot on that. Yeah,
it's like that. It's like that. Okay, Okay, Now I
know how many guns do you?Yes? Or like my family, which

(04:35):
one do you have more of tattoos, guns or cigars. Oh good question
right now at this moment, yeacigars. If I were to smoke a
cigar, it would be a tiefor guns and cigars. Wow, how
many of each do you have? That right now? If I'm not mistaken,
I have three cigars in my humidor Yeah. And so for those

(04:58):
who playing along doing math at home, I I have two guns. Really,
yes, I have a shotgun anda nine millimeter I have never only
one of which is loaded. Andthat's to protect your home from invaders and
that sort of thing very common herein Burbank. Most of the time I
decide I think of using it.It's more about coyotes and my dogs.
But there are not a lot ofcoyotes. There aren't down here in Burbank,

(05:21):
Burbank. There is, but butthis area of bur area Burbank,
traditionally you would have to technically streamYeah, absolutely worth it. Uh No,
them here in the hills you getcoyotes, bobcats, stuff like you

(05:44):
are two three miles from the hills, and now they're seeing more and more
than what they call the flats ofBurbank. They're seeing more coyotes and then
just the last month we've had ortwo months, I should say, we've
had two or three sidings. Itcould be the same coyote. But there's
an app called next Door where youit's like Facebook for your neighbors. It's
it's a fear based social network. It's a great article that was written about
it. Really. Yeah. Sothere's social networks based on popularity, friendship,

(06:08):
and then there are fear based socialnetworks like next door that are just
like, oh, some crazy thingis happening. I be afraid that you're
right because most of it is likewe got coyote, Yeah, what's going
on with the helicopters in the sky? Yeah, you see those cons over
Verduco. Yeah, Like it's alot of that. Meanwhile, and they're
on Facebook. They're like, checkout my oatmeal today. I got an

(06:28):
alert and somebody goes it Is itjust me? Or are we enjoying these
parrots? Like because you have theburmaig parents that fly around and I was
like, who is this guy?Get out of here? Like totally tasted
wrong to me, Yeah, becausehe's not anything, yeah exactly. But
every other time it's so good.I'm so glad you said that, because
that's gonna amuse every email I getfrom next door down. People have to

(06:48):
be able to categorize it and laughbased on what it is. So,
but this coyote coming around, isit really just a guy that's kind of
trolling you all, or I thinkit's a real coyote, or yet to
see a coyote in my neighborhood. But I have seen a coyote further south
from here, which is even furtherfrom the hills. I have seen a
live coyote that's fascinating. And thenthere, but it's up in the hills.

(07:09):
There always you see a coyote runningaround, even in broad daylight at
the golf course from because I've beenup to Pasadena. There's a monastery up
there that I go and hang outat, and yeah, there are deer
and there they have you can seetracks for cougars and whatever, and like
it's legit. And I've watched deerlike come twenty feet and like, where
did you come from? You ghostanimal? So I know they're here.

(07:29):
We're not removed from it. Butfor a coyote to come into your neighborhood,
it is to cross freeways, lanesof traffic is KFC and it's gotten
like dogs thing. I have littledogs. Now, if I had the
big dog, I wouldn't worry becausehe's bigger. He was bigger than the
coyotes. But it doesn't attack humans, No, not that I'm aware of.
No, it's always your pets always, but it's live animal doesn't go

(07:50):
I have this thought process in mymind that now my dogs do not go
out at night to go to thebathroom by themselves. Both of them have
to go together. And then there'sbeen a couple of times where I hear
barking and I have to listen tohear if they're playing, like but for
a couple of barks one hand onthe gun. No, but because the
gun is in the bedroom, soI would have to run into the bedroom

(08:11):
grab the gun. Tactically, Ihave a clip that's loaded. It's not
in the gun, got it,So I'd have to clip it and then
come out there and then plan toyou know, train on a coyote and
kill it while it's got my dogin its mouth. Yeah, and then
possibly put the dog down. Thisis a great how up tone? How
much experience do you have firing alive weapon in the last say, ten

(08:35):
years? Yeah? None? Okay, but you did. As a way,
it was pretty frequently. Would itcome back quickly? I think so.
I think it was. I thinkthat you all you have to do?
Really is the difference is that,Like I think I've told the story
on the show, is that mydad taught me how to shoot a gun,
and he taught I was climbing throughthe caliber and I shot at twenty
two, which is a very smallgun, and then there was a three

(08:58):
fifty seven magnet, which is abigger gun, and I really like that
one. And then he had aforty four, which is even bigger,
and he told me to line upmy shot and then move my head to
the side like this, And Isaid, why he goes because if that
thing kicks, you don't want tohit you in the face because it'll really
hurt. Yeah, is what I'veseen cop shows. That's what they do.
Yeah. The forty four, Ithink is the game. I always
thought because my dad had a chromethree fifty seven Smith and Wesson that look

(09:20):
like Dirty Harry's gun would just aslightly shorter barrel. I didn't talk that
Dirty Harry. What was that showwith the gun talk show me? This
was a super weird eighties show,or the gun had a mouth and he'd
like talk, I'll look that up. Yeah yeah, and he had a
long barrel, but I think hiswas technically a forty four. Oh okay,

(09:41):
but anyway, so that's I would. I would just know to,
you know, keep my arms bentand you you squeeze the trigger, you
don't pull it. I remember thatkind of stuff. And did it pop
you in the face? Did thatever? Oh? You? You hurt
my palms? And I didn't.I don't think I ever shot it again.
My son has shot a forty fourdifferent gun, not that same gun
that I shot. But if mydad taught about its mouth talk, it's

(10:05):
so interesting. I got what amI talking about? Um? So,
the only gun I've ever legitimately firedwas at Disneyland. I was an ow
boy and the Sheriff of Frontier Landa true story and they give you,
uh, it's a real weapon witha quarter quarter blanks, so they more
pope, but still deadly probably twoyeah, yeah, yeah, but still

(10:28):
deadly. Pointed to somebody's head andthey're gone exactly yeah. And they showed
us that they're like they put itto a piece of paper and they're like,
this is a safety testing you haveto watch, and you're like,
okay, yeah, you're serious, don't don't put that in anything. And
so I'm like, but that's that'sthe only gun. But here's the here's
why I bothered to go down thistrail. In the vein of video games.
We had hornets nests in our inour neighbor They come and go,

(10:50):
And it was maybe two years agothat I went outside. We opened up
the screen door and looked up andthere was one right up above us,
the beginnings of a pretty healthy nest. You know, there was probably two
or three in they're already going andthere. I hate hornets, yellow jack
Is. They're just disgusting creatures andthey make those pine cone looking things and

(11:11):
they're crawling. It to make memad just thinking about So I go around
the other side of the house thatI bring out the spray, the stuff
that can propel twenty feet in theair, and I take you know,
I'm about six eight feet back fromit, and I aim at it.
I hit the nest, but thehornet happened to be coming out at the
same time, and so now he'scoming straight at me while I'm firing at

(11:35):
this nest and it was like videogame mode came over because I realized this,
I'm going to get hit. He'scoming for me. And I was
able to train on him and smackhim like I was playing Ghostbusters or something.
When it was over, I waslike, yeah, that was like
this is why I play video gamesabout shooting guns. Yeah, I would
be really embarrassing if I went.I mean realistically, I think if I

(11:58):
had to grab either one of thoseguns, whether it's the shotgun or anything,
first shot would be into the air. Like that's what really I'm purpose
like not, I wouldn't know whyI would be comfortable training it see on
somebody or something first, Like Iwould want to, you know, scare
it before doing anything. Yeah.Yeah, But is the air the right
call not the ground? You don'twant to You don't want to shoot the

(12:18):
ground because it's gonna ricochet if you'renot then that. But shooting in the
air isn't going to be because theair it's gonna it's gonna slow it down
to a point and it's just gonnafall like a rock. It's it's gonna
be like dropping a nickel from theGrand Canyon. Now, But it is
a bullet. It has a pointto it, and it goes flat in
the air like when it fires asit travels through the air. It actually

(12:39):
the it flattens out a little bit, fascinating. It doesn't stay bullet shaped.
Oh interesting, this is See thisis the things you learn when you
grow up on a farm. Brilliant. But you know what if red dead,
redemption is any indication of my marksmanship. Yeah, I'm dead. It's
my dog is dead. Everybody's dead. I'm not gonna do any good because

(13:03):
you're no good. There's gonna bepressing L two the whole time. You're
like, why won't everybody go cpsstly, hold on, let me get some
chaw in my mouth and then I'llbe able to eight. Where's the red
eggs? Hold still? Stop movingand then when I shoot you with this,
everybody should stop. And I wantedto watch your head. I've gotten

(13:24):
back into that game. It's likeit's like a TV show that I pick
up every now and then and puttingout. I saw an advertisement for I
think there's new DLC for like onlinefor like Frontier mode, and you can
work with trappers, collectors and bountyhunters. Interesting and it's called the Frontier
or something. I saw a commercialfor it on one of my kids YouTube

(13:46):
videos zero watch. All of thatis good indication that there's still life in
this current generation of consoles. Likeas Borderlands comes out this week, I'm
like, oh, we're not doneCyberpunk twenty seventy seven. I really thought
that they were gonna at the lastsecond go psych that's coming out on the
PS five. Everything we've shown youis actually for the PS five, But
we're we're life. Here's what Idid, guys, and this is all

(14:07):
for you, is that I recentlynow have indirectly and directly purchased two PlayStations.
How do you indirectly purchase? Sowe had a deal. I purchased
it, Okay, t kid indirectly? Uh no. I we had to

(14:28):
deal with my kids where if theysaved up enough money they could have a
TV and a PlayStation in the room. They Uh, they saved up enough
money to buy TVs. I boughtTVs for my son's birthday for Best Buy.
As I've we've told us stories isthat I will buy them and then
return them. But I've ended that. So I bought four TVs. They're
just small thirty two inch TVs.They're three d lcd Uh they're they're not.

(14:52):
There's seventy two seven twenty, aren'tthey? Yeah, I'm looking at
them. They're right here. Idon't tell it's funny because at first I
was like, I wonder if Ishould be trying to get better TVs.
They have Roku. They're Roku SmartTV's. I'm not a fan of the
Roku, but my friend Leslie said, no, I love Roku is great
and the kids seem to dig it. So I was like, all right,
so, uh, they that's whatthey want. When I said it

(15:13):
like you could buy it with yourmoney if you want to buy this off
of me, And I gave himtwenty dollars off. Oh what a good
day. So they bought him allyour money anyway, Yeah exactly. They
bought him each for one hundred bucksand then h and then Jacob today,
Poor poor Jacob. He thought hehad saved up enough money, even had
him recount it, but he waskeeping a mental tally and he's about fifty
bucks short. Oh no, hehas some other birthday money. So there

(15:37):
will be a conversation later. Butthen he will be oh he owes you
more money. Yeah, like hehas so he might have his own PlayStation.
And then I bought a second oneso that when we did this party
there would be enough for everybody. And uh so I bought two of the
ps PS four slims one terabyte.Uh and then he bought one or paid

(15:58):
for most of it. What areyou gonna do with these TVs when they're
not set up in somewhere? You'regonna put one in your room? No,
I'm gonna leave two in the box, and then two stay in their
room. And then if they everhave like friends over or sleep over.
I feel like it's coming down thepike where they're gonna have Jacob especially is
going to have friends over. They'regoing to spend the night, and they're
gonna want to all hang out playgames like they do on their by for

(16:21):
the birthday, Jack already said forhis birthday he wanted to do the same
thing. So I'm keeping yeah,so we could do that. I go,
but I don't know how many ofyour friends have a PS four,
Like that's the you know, Igot to put that on my calendar.
I had so many questions about this. Now that you have multiple PS fours,
are you having to purchase digital downloadsand discs all over again. So

(16:42):
I need to reach out to PlayStationI think because I have a family plan,
so all of my two kids areon have online access, but I
only pay the sixty fifty bucks ayear whatever it is for PS plus,
so their accounts have access. Butat one point I had to do so
they weren't restricted content wise, wasI had to make it seem like they

(17:03):
were twenty one. Yeah, soI put their actual birthdays in, but
added I think like ten or elevenyears or whatever it was. And then
that let him play like Plants VersusZombies, which is so weird thing that
one really, Yeah, that Iwouldn't think play because the online experience,
yes, is so because you couldhave a thirty one year old taking a
bong rip and cursing. You canhave it make that game. You can
have a ten year old taking upon. Yeah, the ten year olds

(17:26):
on that Plants Versus Zombies more.I would love to hear a high ten
year old. Oh my god,I every time my son plays it,
we very strict rules that he hasto mute the players because they're usually screaming
at each other. Really disgusting obscenitiesand I'm like you you can't have that,
or they they're talking trash, orthere's just noise like grown up some

(17:48):
backup and you know kids they canthey just sort of tune it out or
something that they don't It doesn't showup on the register. Like, I
don't need you finding it, don'tneed you asking me what a bong is
at age six? See if you'rehearing background noise on a on a headset
like that, yeah, I reallythink that that's absentee parenting, Like they

(18:08):
just go, here's the thing.I need you to put a headset on.
Yeah, because I don't want tohear it, and they don't understand.
Why does it have a microphone?People can Yeah, you can mute
the microphone. Yeah. The restof the people, though, can hear
them. They don't know that, you know what I mean, Like you
and I know to beute the microphone. Yeah, they're gonna be on a
headset r right, But I don'tI don't know. I don't know that

(18:30):
we're there yet. Were the majorityof the parents that are allowing this or
don't understas ironic? I think toothat you and I grew up playing games.
But I don't know that. Wouldyou do you feel like clearly you
already said we we monitor what ourkid can have. Act, it's because
you and I grew up with it, so we know the potential that's there.
I'm I know what the limits andlimitations that need to be in place.
I think that there are people thatalso, like, if you have

(18:52):
a PS four and you're playing Plansversus Zombies online, that means you have
you have some disposable cash, oryou have access to money that you're willing
to spend. So yeah, thefull complete experience is that the kid needs
a headset, right, Like that'swhat So give him all the things without
thinking like maybe it's not a goodidea, And when he's done, he's
flipping over to YouTube, he's goneTwitch where there are no or Twitter where

(19:18):
there are no sensors at all.Yeah, I think there's some absentee parenting.
Yeah, it's gotta be I likeit, though Jacob has actually made
some I don't know if he's stuckwith him, but like he'll be playing
Fortnite with his headset. When hefirst got it and he really liked it,
and he would talk and there wouldnever be kids where he's having a
nice conversation. No where he's like, oh, okay, thanks for the
AMMO. And there are people heknows. These are just people that he's

(19:42):
met through Fortnite and they happen tobe a line on the same squad and
that person had a headset and theywere a decent human being, and then
he would just have a conversation withhim and they're friendly, like okay,
and they're talking and I like that. Yeah, there's a part of me.
I recently read an article. Iwas doing the parenting segment on KFI
and they I learned that they didit. It's a very small study,

(20:04):
but they found that teenagers who feltmore connected that we're allowed to basically have
access to their cell phones after saybedtime, like overnight kind of a thing.
That the feeling is that the reasonwhy kids today feel so much anxiety
and stress, they want to pointthe finger at social media, and they
want to point the finger at likescreen time and cell phones because those things

(20:25):
are new and different. Yes,that explains why kids are more stressed and
more depressed and all this stuff. But in actuality, they found that the
kids who had access to that stuffwere would define themselves as being less stressed
because they had an opportunity to connectwith someone else with their cell phone.
The hosts of the radio show pointedout that, well, we're we are

(20:47):
redefining the word connect next. That'sright, Like that's the real thing,
which I thought was a great point. But I think it is like like
we talked about on the show.I think it is like it's rock and
roll, it's cable TV of theAIG. It's like it's we think this
wrots their brain, but it actuallyI just rots it differently. Yeah,
that's I need you to rot yourbrain the way we rotted our brain television

(21:07):
or rock and roll or acid. And I stand by it. I stand
by that. I think why thereare more kids who are stressed and anxious.
Sure you could point the finger atsocial media being the cause, but
I think it's because they're more andmore kids are growing up without understanding how
to process negative experiences. And Ithink that's what makes them more stressed.
Is that and that maybe social mediacan becommon negative experience, But in reality,

(21:32):
I mean you and I were pickedon or at some point by somebody,
and it doesn't. It never feltgood. And I don't know that
I would say that. You know, I'll speak for myself. I didn't
handle it right or correctly, andit didn't completely roll off my back the
way I would like for it toofor my kids, you know what I
mean. Like I wish I coulddismiss it, but I think in actuality
like that, it's the it's adiet version of those idiots who go fun,

(21:57):
you know, like it it hasa purpose or something. I get
what they're saying and why they're sayingit, but I think in reality,
uh, it's just you have tolearn to deal with asshole. It's true.
I really, I really, Ireally changed my mind on having to
say that word. But yeah, you were you almost choked it down.
Yeah, but then you landed offit. It was already in the hop

(22:19):
we're coming out. But yeah,I think that's that's what really has to
happen. And I don't know.I'm sorry I fell down a rabbit hole
on that, but the but Idon't I don't know that the real solution,
to go back to what we're talkingabout is to let your kids,
you know, have access to anybody. I mean, I would probably be
comfortable obviously, with Jacob getting onlinewith Fortnite in here and some dude taking
a bond grip because he and Ihave had conversations where like he's like he's

(22:42):
also older now, yes, likeyou wouldn't have been down with that when
he was six. No no,no, no, no no no no,
far from it, no no,far from it. No. All
right, we should take a break. We should take a break. I
have a fun idea for a gamewhen we can. Oh, let's do
it. We're still not harming ourselves, so we're good. Oh are we
rolling? Fuming? Tell me?Oh, Paula Paula Abdul dot com doctor,

(23:37):
she got a fair near you everybody. She was popular before dot com
was a joke. Yeah, andshe still got a career. Guess what.
Guess what I'm doing dot com?See what's up coming on? There?
Is it? This is the question. Is it going to be a
website about her or or just somethingelse that's going to redirect you to buy
this uurl dot org? Oh it'sthinking this is the website? No no,

(24:07):
no, oh, I'm all abduel. How much do you think they
had to pay for that? Oh? It's loading Facebook? Oh look at
that forever your gruel. Oh she'sin a Las Vegas residency. I didn't
know this. Oh she's having aroad trip podcast. Turn it off.
Let's go see. Well, it'lltake us longer than I mean. We

(24:29):
could leave later. We could dolike more more for twenty second is opening
day? Well, being a LasVegas you can see Paula Abduel forever your
gruel, the Las Vegas residency. How long is she there? Because Brittany
was only there for a year.To that for a year, isn't the
only are selling tickets up to Januaryfourth? Right? Now? That's interesting?
How much I U? I don'tthink i'd go to that. Look,

(24:52):
evidently you don't even have to buythem. You can RSVP that you're
gonna be there. There's tickets orRSVP. I'm an rs VP, thank
you, right, I'm busy thisweekend. Also, I don't want to
give you four hundred dollars. SoI'm interested. I'm interested in So we

(25:15):
were talking about in the break thatI did not answer your question about to
the maximum. I mainly because Iwant to know if I buy a second
PlayStation in my house, do Ihave to buy all my games? Again?
No, But it was they're discs, no, because you could download
them. So what happens are youtalking about? So? Well? No,
if they're discs, you do okay. If it's a digital download,

(25:36):
you do not shut up? Thenwhy don't we buy everything got digital download?
I think that's what they're trying tomake you. So the thing though,
with Jack, I accidentally pushed somethingand asked me a thing and I
hit the button too soon where itmade him like his own account, and
so that I'm trying I got tobring him back into the full because but
if they're in the family, soPlayStation has family accounts, yes, and
you can be like you have afamily plan or Apple has a family plan

(25:57):
yes, So why aren't we ina family plan? And if you make
the new PlayStation your primary PlayStation, then everybody who's on that PlayStation can play
the games that you own. Seewhy don't why don't more people do this?
Why don't you have in the sameway that exactly? I think there's
there's something in there that I thinkmakes that a non thing. There's got

(26:18):
to be I don't know. Ithink this seems to be it seems much
more regulated because Jack was independent. But when I got so I bought Minecraft.
I had to buy the digital downloadof Minecraft for him and put it
on the PlayStation and then but inorder for Jacob to play it on mine,
it was fine. I'll bet thatthey don't. They don't have to

(26:40):
regulate it because so many games areoptical based. There are discs, so
many of them are discs, somuch of their product is discs, and
they're like, well, it wouldbe an interesting stat to know, is
how many people have shifted over buyingdigital games. I had no idea that
PlayStation had a family network until thismoment. Till this moment, I didn't

(27:00):
now know you'd mentioned it, butI didn't. I didn't quite process that.
Yeah, you go and log intoyour PSN, and if Quinn has
his own account, then you justyou put in his account and you added
under your family. I'm so gladwe're discussing this because before we get to
the fun game, I came upwith that. I had another PlayStation information
factoid that I wanted to blow yourmind with. Right, okay, you're

(27:21):
ready. PlayStation information factoid from zeKevin Miller dot com. Not to be
confused with PAULA Abdul dot com.D no Okay, So you know if
you are if you want to replacethe fan on your PlayStation, right,
which we've talked about it that I'mdealing with you. Um, you turn
the thing around and then on theback of those four stickers there and if

(27:44):
you peel those off, you avoidthe warranty, right, And that's the
problem. And then but once youget in there, you can and if
your past warranty, it's not abig deal. Would you believe me if
I told you that that is illegaland it is a urban myth that PlayStation
propagated that according to the FTC,you cannot avoid a warranty by opening up
an electronic device. I ooh,so would I believe that it is illegal

(28:11):
to open up your PlayStation? Itwould avoid the warrant? Does it avoid
the warranties? Avoid the arranty whenI open it up? As like,
uh, like, is that anillegal act? Yes? I would say,
yeah, it is it? Itwould it makes it okay if you
if they prove that you tampered withit in some way and you're not a
certified person, I would say thatwould avoid the warranty. According to Forbes

(28:32):
and Polygon have gone on multiple accountsto talk about this that the FTC has
administered warnings to several electronic companies thatthey have to change their end user agreement
because it is a violation of anineteen seventy five act that it goes against
this that says before video games,it says you cannot because what they're trying

(28:52):
to do is control the pipeline ofmaintenance. So which is why it goes
back to nineteen seventy five. Soif you're like, we built this,
and also if anybody butts us workson it, you avoid the warranty,
They're like, you can't do that. There has to be other people available
to work on your product, otherwiseyou have a straight up monopoly on their
own thing. So so those arethe rules within it. Now though the

(29:15):
restrictions are if you they can tellthat you've clearly damaged the item. So
that's where it could get a littlegray. If I open it up and
I'm like, I'm going to installa new fan by the want, They'll
be like, well, but ifI open it up, do it change
out the fan and then six monthslater something else is wrong with it,

(29:37):
they can't go, oh, youvoided the warranty by open it that's actually
a myth that they helped like putout there and scare people to say right,
right and knowing is half the battle. It I love it, so
you can crack open your PlayStation. After they administered these warnings, both Nintendo
and Sony change the information on theirwebsites. Microsoft did not interesting, but

(30:02):
FTC did not say who they screwyou. I own you, that's right.
Do you know seventy percent shareholder inthe United States of We're already working
on six g three trillion dollars awayfrom a hostile takeover of a foreign nation.
We own Australia. All right. For this fun game, we're going

(30:22):
to go over to the discord thepoint by you. I want you to
I was better at this. Iwould have opened this before storing your whisk.
That's important. And I was tellingyou random things. It's absorbing the
contents, sorbing, absorbing, absorbing. I think that's absorbing. That's it's
absorbing. It's ab sr It's areference to a video game. Really,

(30:48):
man, I don't know anything.Calm and google it. That was a
drop, that was I do notlaugh like that. I've removed exactly why
does it? No? No,what is happening. I don't like anything

(31:11):
tech space. We defeated the nefariousturn that off? Is that video out
here? Jimmy out of there? All right, you can pull anybody you
want any All of this is mine. Anybody. Well, there's a lot
of people hanging out today. Didthey know you were doing this? No?
I just I made it up inmy mind. I don't think we've
ever talked to Nolan. All right, bring Nolan? Is it just one
person? Ye? All right, let's see if Nolan could talk to us.

(31:36):
Um, we're connecting, we're authentic, hitting, we're rt seeing.
Hello, Nolan, how are youhi? I'm doing good? How about
you? We're doing great? Areyou a regular listener in a participator in
our discord? Yeah? Yeah,Carmen out wonderful, glad to have you
here. I like your tone,I like your energy. You're in Uh,

(31:57):
Nolan, thank you? Um.Do you you play a lot of
video games? Unfortunately? Yes,I do play a lot. Oh no,
that's good. It's very close toits very close, very close.
So so here's the game. Noone can play less video games than me
and still talk on this show. He's the base, all right. So
here's the game. Nolan, Iwant you to take a moment, since

(32:20):
you're being surprised for this, Iwant you to think of the most random
title, uh you've ever played?Think of it. Don't say it out
loud yet, Okay, think ofit in your mind. You're gonna be
great. You're gonna do the magicTrap. Oh yeah, yeah, so
so, Nolan, do you reallygood? That's gonna be just like that.
Do you have the title of thegame in your mind? Yeah?

(32:43):
But one quick question, is it, like, does it have to be
the most random game or is itthe title specifically? Let's go with just
the title, the title specifically,so something obscure. Uh. Yeah,
that's very good. I like Ilike it. And now you're going to
tell us the title of this, and Justin is going to tell you the
genre and how to play the game. Oh. Perfect, Okay, go

(33:06):
for the excellent because I have theperfect title. Okay. Kingdom hearts three
five eight over two days mail, thank you? Fun with that one,
buddy, Kingdom hearts three five eightover five eights, over five days,

(33:29):
over five days, alright, threefive eight three over two days, two
days. Oh, I've only playedover five days. Well, tell us
about the two alright, Kingdom Heartsthree five eights, as we all know,
yeah, over two days. WellI'm getting to oh sorry, So
Kingdom Hearts three five eights was theprequel to Kingdom Hearts. And we all

(33:53):
know that Kingdom Hearts is the wellknown role playing game that incorporates Disneyland and
Disney characters. We're all familiar withthat. Yes, yes, Kingdom Hearts
three five eight was a prequel, which was an early beta that they did
which involved Mary Melodies cartoons. Yeah, and Over two Days was a DLC

(34:15):
that they added to that, whichwas a parody of Five Nights of Freddie's
where you just had to survive twodays, uh during rabbit season. What
system is this game? On allof them? It's but most popular it
was on Saga Dreamcast and and howwhat's the gameplay? Like? What do
you? Uh? It's it's alot of like it's not the same like

(34:37):
turn based battle that you would findin uh in your RPG uh, because
Kingdom Hearts is, you know, but it's so it's got some platform elements
in it, mostly RPG elements. Is like building, you gain a lot
of XP. The more carrots youeat, the more that you can there's
a there's a fun mini game whereyou have to decipher what Daffy Duck is
saying a Disney carrotter. I know. That was my point is very Melodies

(35:00):
in three five eight, Mary Melodiesis Disney, Mary Beldies, Mooney Tunes
is Daffy Duck. That's why Ithought it was the whole point that you
were going classic Disney. All right. I thought, yes, Mary Melodies,
that was Looney Tunes. But Ithought so too. Oh I could

(35:23):
be wrong. I oh, oh, you know what, You're right.
I'm sorry, Silly Symphony was earlyDisney. Mary Melodies Tunes. All right,
I'm sorry. I've never played thisgame. Uh, Nolan, how
Kevin? You gotta play video games? If you're gonna do the show,

(35:43):
read an article. I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna lie. Please,
don't want I need to get aprequel. It was a prequel. It
was a No, it's a prequel, a med quel, and a sequel
all at once. Midquol is Ithink that's a medicine you take when you
have a head cold. But I'lltry to day will it is for waking

(36:08):
up, Like mid quill is whatyou take after lunch, will you go
to sleep? That's right, allright? So how do you play this
game? Um? It is anRPG. You do level up, but
and the way you level up asyou get like certain blocks and you have
to put them together like Tetris pieces. And it's as tedious as it sounds.

(36:29):
That sounds dumb. So like you, yeah, yeah, you have
level up blocks too. So ifyou take out the level up blocks to
put something else and you level downstoring, you're boring everybody. We're boring
everyone. I'm what do you wantfor me? Don't I'm trying. Don't
argue with Homer, he has hisown opinions. But yeah, no you

(36:52):
the prequel part. I was surprisedyou got right. But everything else is
just it's a DS. It's veryboring. Come on this show the price
that I'm right? Mary melodies,I mean I was wrong? Did you
look it up? No? Iyou were right, like we were both
right one you know, honestly,Nolan, just between you and me,

(37:12):
Justin can't hear me now, Butwhen you said it, I realized that
I was wrong. When Justin saidit, I was still pretty confident I
was right. Guys, we haveto talk if we just have silence on
the show. Sorry, it's notjust Rae podcast. You can't have dead
air while for one of the twoof you to say something. Dolan justin,
I'm so I'm so sorry you hadto listen to that radio silence.

(37:34):
I know it's I'm breaking up thewhole audience yourself. You know it's a
tall order, but I knew youcould do it. So that's why Kevin
and I quickly had in the sideso you could have your own spotlight moment.
Nolan, welcome to the family.Thank you for playing this made up
game that I just made it up. We don't have a name for you
yet. Kick him out of air, get out. Oh it comes with

(37:59):
side effects. I like, doyou want to play again? Yeah?
Give somebody else, you know,it's funny. Is a lot of people
left the Clorox lounge. I don'tknow if I don't know if they're afraid
of this game, um or what? All right, let's get Carmen in
here. Stop talking to whoever youwere talking to, and now talk to
us. Carmen, have you beenlistening to the podcast? All right?

(38:22):
By three shots in Oh, FelixLi came back. There's somebody I don't
know. I don't know if it'sa man or a woman orlix sly are
you a man or a woman?Oh? It does have a microphone.
That's what that little microphone means?Or the line Thrick Kevin, we can't
talk. We'll never know the genderodleWe'll go Yo, yeah is that no?

(38:47):
Or hello doodle noodles excited Yo,yo, doodle noodle? Have you
been listening? Do you know thegame we're playing right now? I think
the only person who's been listening isNolan b because blag. All right,
So here's the game you uh,I want you to think of an obscure

(39:10):
title to a video game for someobscure game. Don't tell us yet,
and then you're gonna tell Justin. He's gonna tell you what the game is
all about, and you're gonna rategood question his accuracy. Go for it.
What's the name of your game?Moonlighter Ohlighter? I'm like three and

(39:32):
a half shots in right now,um, Moonlighter Moonlighter is the game based
on the um I'm gonna blank onher name, but Bruce Willis and say,
no, no, what's her Igonna I'm gonna look this up real

(39:53):
quick while I'm talking about this. But it was a game that was it
was not very good. It wasn'tas unsuccessful as ET, but uh it
was. It was not loved byfans or the public. Is any game
more unsuccessful than ET. That's agood point by you. I really mean
it. I mean that's a millionof them. It was. She was
really I want to say Kathleen Turnerwas her name, but they were.

(40:16):
It was an eighties TV show. They were detectives, right, that worked
together. Um, it's gotta bemy Internet. This has got to be
why if they're experiencing lag Is thatright? Yeah, you're talking about Moonlighting
with Bruce Willis. Yeah. Butthey made a game called Moonlighter, And
what they did was you could chooseto either play as Katherine, Kathleen Turner

(40:38):
or Bruce Willis. Yeah, andyou would go through and try to solve
crimes in a kind of like youwould navigate through the world. There was
like an old Nintendo game, remember, Yeah, Yeah, So you play
like where you go room to roomand you would find clues. This is
before like the pointing click Telltale worldwhere you would just you know, oh
click this and it was kind oflike that. You'd walk around, you'd

(41:00):
figure out Q clues. But thereason it wasn't successful is because for whatever
reason, they couldn't bury up theskins enough on the bosses. So you
always knew the person who did itwas the animal, Like whatever, there
was an animal in the room, that was the person who either stole something
or murdered somebody or committed some kindof fraud. Is that related to the

(41:22):
moonlighting element of it? Not really, that was the Yeah, it's just
bad program programming. I think itwas. You know how they get with
licensed games right where they're just likethey blew it all on. Bruce Willis
slit exactly. This was an NEStitle, Yes, got it? So
it circa nineteen eighty five in there, Yeah, something maybe eighty six,
I say, but it was aroundChristmas time it was supposed to release Doodle

(41:45):
Noodle. How accurate is justin terrible, terrible, terrible? How many How
many facts did he get right forJimmy? None of them? None of
them? Was it at least aNintendo release? Well? No, oh

(42:07):
wow, question Mark, we'll takeit justin wins. Yeah, to tell
us about the real moonlighter. SoMoonlighter is actually kind of a little indie
title game. Um and during theday you run this little shop. You

(42:27):
are shopkeeper, and at the endof the day, when you close up
shop, you go and you dothese dungeons and you fight monsters and collect
all this luten gear that you thentake back to sell at your little shop
during the day. Very just kindof low key. Um just really nice
art style, kind of retroesque pixeland um twod side scrolling and all that,

(42:50):
but just kind of fun but notsuper well known. But yeah,
it's fun. Sounds adorable. Ilike your version better though, all right,
thanks Toodle Noodle. Yeah, tryhow dare you me on my own
show? Send Oh my gosh, iff, I could reach through this computer

(43:15):
and figure out a way to muteyour mic. I'm gonna send some very
offensive emoji to you, dude,to just so you know. Okay,
that's a legitimate threat. There arevery offensive emoji's out there. Are play
safe Space. We'll play one moretime. This time we'll both come up
with the definition and they'll decide whatthe right answer. Wow. Okay,
so oh sph just left you lostyour chance. Sp oh brit Z Britz

(43:38):
is also a new person that Idon't at least I don't recognize their name.
But they don't have a microphone,so I have to move it back.
We need oh, gleam walker.Oh like a moonlight would be really
funny if they thought to change theirname while I was doing that, that
would be really funny. Hello,Hello, who's this glim Hi? There?
My name is glim walk Hi,gleam Walker. How did you about

(44:00):
the show? I find found outfor the person carm Shew Carmen. She's
yeah, she um she she invitedme to you and disclosure one of my
friends. She she's been an evangelist, apparently roping lots of people in Uh.
So, are you listening to thegame we're playing right now? I

(44:22):
am currently all right, So tellus the title of an obscure game that
you know of. Don't tell usanything about the game. Just tell us
the title of a scure game. And for this final round, Justin and
I are both going to tell youwhat that game is, and you tell
us which one of us is rightin sight. Okay, give me a

(44:42):
second, give me give me asolid second. One slight wondering all the
time you need, don't worry nopressure. Okay, are you googling full
disclosure? No? No, Iwill, I will name an obscure game.
Okay, does any obscute game?Yeah, any obscure games or any
game. We're an encyclopedia of gamingknowledge, so you can't stump. It's

(45:07):
like reverse stump, tonight, gofor it. Okay, all right,
okay. Super Cult Tycoon two DeluxeEdition. I know this game very well.
Super Cult Tycoon two is an RPGsimulator that is only accessible in China
on the iOS that's available there, and it's there um understanding of people's obsession

(45:35):
with Game of Thrones, and soin the game, you publish episodes of
Game of Thrones and people gather togetherand have viewing parties and you try to
gain the most number of followers, and then you have raids against each other's
HBO viewing parties. But it's alldone over your phone. Very very popular

(45:55):
in China. This is Super ColdTycoon, Yes, Super Coli, Super
Cold Time two, Super Could Tycoontwo Edition. Yeah, that's why it's
that's not that's that's I don't thinkyou're right. I think um, I
do think it is an iOS game. Yeah, but this is a jack

(46:16):
the septic i uh simulator, wherewhat you could do is you play the
wheel Happy Wheels games. Um,but all of the characters, the sounds
that characters would make while they're drying, you know, riding a segue through
blades or whatever. They just saycurse words with a Scottish accent. I
think you're thinking of a different gamethan I whatever. I think. Wait,

(46:37):
is he talking about two confirmation? If you're correct, only only confirmation
or a hand Is there a whipsound effect or is there not a whip
sound effect at the beginning of everyevery movie? Make a whip sound effect?
Is that what you said? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, yeah,
there is a whip sound effect atthe beginning of every game. That's absolutely

(46:58):
true. All right? Who isclose? Number one? By the way,
Number one? Yeah, because I'veplayed it. I've played that game.
I regret everything. Tell us aboutyour version. You've played this game,

(47:20):
Kevin, you played this game?Of course. I just told you
all about it. It's why Ihave two legendaries many Yeah, he prestiged
twice in it. What's this gamereally about? Okay, so it's about
cults. Actually, the whole thingis that you need to make a cult
from scratch. You find a barnin the middle of nowhere and you have
to find accolytes. So you goaround. It's sort of a sim city

(47:40):
clone, so it goes as simulatorobviously. So you go around and you
go to a town and you stridearound an ice cream truck finding accolytes,
your cults, and you bring themto your camp and you have to boost
them raw by having a kool Aidmeter. And but the whole basis of
the game is you have to thisis a secul monolith, want to say.

(48:01):
And there's a whole thing where there'sa whole thing where the FBI is
on your ass. So they needthey need to. They literally are the
bribe the FBI to So so that'samazing. You can really stop you from
contacting the mothership. Oh here's here'sthe deal. Um. I don't want

(48:22):
to sound like a big a hole, but I could tell by the title
that that was the kind of game, and to be honest, I couldn't.
I didn't want to make that up, so I chose to make up
the thing that I made up thatYeah, that would be more fun.
They would rather play that. Butthe game I suggested I could tell based

(48:43):
on the name. The name kindof gives it away, but I really
I think I was in disbelief,uh to the level of darkness that you're
describing. I my imagination wouldn't haveallowed me. Honestly. I'm just more
surprised there or there aren't more gamesbecause even though it's called Superlin Super Colt
Super Cult Tycoon two, it's onlythe first game. Well that's even more

(49:05):
genius that it, and it's thedeluxe version that's unsettling. And yet I
am such a sucker for a goodsim game. I really want to check
this game out. There are somequirky fun elements to that of a kool
Aid meter. I think I'd begood boolaide meter. And there's like a
that there's like a reference to theto the show. Um, there's a

(49:27):
reference to like a show with agigantic roverball, just like but I'd be
a phrase facing after you. Here'shere's the issue that I think why we
should be monitoring who plays that gameis because it really sounds like a Last
Starfighter situation in that if you achievea legendary status, the cult is going
to call you up and be like, clearly you need to be a recruiter
for us because you understand how tomonitor them. The game. My only

(49:52):
problem what the game is? Itis not there's only one problem with that
game. It's called a SIMI later. But you know you you go into
the remo fantasy when you have agigantic roker ball from the prisoner like chasing
after your your accolies trying to runaway. Are you downloading this game?
No, I was looking for adrop I had of Cannon Reeves saying I

(50:12):
am an FBI agent. Oh yeah, yeah, that would have been good.
Well played. All right, thankyou for playing, Thank you for
playing? Reverse stomach Did he sayno? I thought you were trying to
say, no mistake, no mistake, Glenn Walker. How come there still
here when you hang up on them? That's a good question. It's because
my mouse pad isn't so good thislaptop. Oh. Also, I seem

(50:35):
to have thrown away the podcast livecalls Ryan, move it back. No,
he's doing his own stream. Hedoesn't even listen anymore. Let's take
a break, coming, Oh poorRyan, all right, we'll take a
break. Come bright back. Ilove this plane. I love a good

(51:01):
time for from I want to getto the end of that. That's just

(51:34):
that's that's my life goal. AllRight, you'll get there, funny someday.
I have faith. I breathe alot in practicing all of that.
Yeah, every week, stretch itout, stretch it up. Area.
Um, So, the prologue beginsnext week. I believe we've met since

(51:58):
they last announced the event and what'shappening in season five that begins on September
seventeenth. We will begin with theprologue chapter, which I really think is
going to be a little more thana festival which they have. I don't
I don't get the impression that it'san all new map. I don't get
the impression that there's going to bea lot of fighting going on. I

(52:20):
think it's going to be a bigparty. Now. There are a lot
of festivals that Guildor's has, likea lot of MMORPG games they have,
and we discussed them at length.Here. We have Matt king Thorne at
Halloween Time, which will start upabout a month into this. There is
a you know, there's a AprilFools Day time one that looks like a

(52:42):
Nintendo. We have a Christmas onecalled Winter's Eve. They do something around
Chinese New Year, So I thinkthis will be a festival. The question
whether or not it'll stick around aswe're as I'm saying this outlied right now,
will it disappear or will this bea permanent map. I don't I
don't know. This is kind ofnew Frontier since they've announced the Ice Brewed
saga whether or not it will bepermanent content or temporary content, because in

(53:07):
season one of Guild Wars it wasall temporary content and every two weeks they
released an event that you could dothat week, and then it went away
and it is never They've never comeback, and I keep waiting for them
to find a fractal or a timemachine or something that allows you to do
those events again, because they're justsitting there would be a hardware issue.

(53:30):
I think, well, what theydescribe in the press conference that kicked off
packs is that they are kind ofbreaking up how they're doing these releases,
and I think it's in an effortto have more continuous new content being dumped
into the game, because as itis right now, there's a new chapter

(53:51):
or a new episode in the season, and the episodes are very large.
You know, their whole map,a whole campaign, a whole new world
to explore, and in its ownmechanisms to deal with own game mechanics rather,
but it can be three months fourmonths before that another one comes out,
and then they try to throw infestivals and stuff. So what they
described is that this new Icebrood sagaallows them to have four different dev teams

(54:16):
working on different types of content simultaneously, as opposed to them all waiting for
each other to do one release atthe same time. So maybe the first
thing will be this prologue will bejust like a party. There's gonna be
a rock band. There's a bunchof mini games that are supposed to be
happening going on, some other excitingstuff. So it'll be interesting to see

(54:36):
where does the like, how doyou have to go to a different map
to see the rock band? Theyhaven't told us yet, Yeah, so
I would imagine included. Yeah, they made it clear that that's happening.
They said that we're going to startmoving north on the map. So far,
the first expansion we moved west, second expansion we moved very south into
the desert, and so they saidthis time around, we're going to go

(54:57):
north because we haven't explored the racesand events in the north parts of the
map, so we're going that way. So it might be a new map,
but the question will be whether ornot it stays there, Like after
the prologue episode is done, willthis map disappear to become a limited time
event or will it live forever? That'll be the big question, because that's
the interesting thing about an MMORPG likethis is that you kind of time travel

(55:22):
depending on what era area of themap you go into. So you know,
you go into very early parts ofthe game and they're talking about defeating
this enemy, going after this bigbad guy. You go to other parts
of the map where that we're releasedlater in the game, and they very
openly discuss the demise of that ofthat enemy. So you can like jump.

(55:42):
It's like being on a theme parkride, you know, and if
you were to sit in one place, you keep hearing the skeletons be like,
oh, well, well capture theisland, and then you're like,
what did they ever get to them? But you're able to jump around in
the ride at any point in time. So so sometimes there are festivals that
appear and disappear, but there arethings that stay permanent and are like locked
in that moment in time. What'sthe biggest thing you've ever missed on Guild

(56:04):
Wars that you're like, oh,that is a good question. The first
thing I thought of that I missedthat I was bummed was last Christmas.
I didn't work hard enough to getthe Christmas Christmas present wrapped weapons. I
really wanted a sword in a shieldthat looked like gifts and you kind of
run around swinging those like kids underthe tree. But that's coming up again,
I assume in a couple of months, so I'm going to work hard

(56:27):
on that. Plus now I havea bunch of legendaries, so don't even
know if i'll bother doing that understanding, but no, you're not going to
hit it. That's why I havetwo legendaries, man boom. It worked
so hard to get to it.Um. I feel like there's been a
couple of events either what early onin the game, I was always intimidated

(56:50):
by new new content being released,so I would let early adopters get in
and just tear it up and thenand then kind of come in later and
try to play catchup or try toget people to play stuff that's or even
though I played since launch, wouldI would play like nine characters all doing
the same conso I'd be going superslow because I just keep redoing the same

(57:13):
content again and again, and theneventually I get to these places where like,
oh, you're supposed to do thiswith friends? Are more people doing
this, but I can't think ofa specific like foamal moment I've had within
Gilwers, and I'm like, no, because I'm pretty faithful. I log
in every day. There was thatincident happening. My account didn't log in
one day, but my son's accountis logged in every day, so he

(57:36):
still has perfect attendance. I regretthat. So yes, every day I
log in and there's a little pangof like, for some reason, my
account is one day behind and Istill don't know why you logged in,
but it didn't record it. That'sthat's my standing. But I went round
with over round, dealing with theirtechnical support, and they told me that

(57:57):
I did, and I was like, but or that I didn't, that
I missed it. But I waslike, I know I did because I
do it every day and my otheraccount was logged in, so how would
I have missed it and because youstill have to log in your son's account.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, soI'm I'm interested to go. You
know, my I've often imagined thatwhen you get to heaven, you know,

(58:17):
when you're when you're worshiping God,you can also like go to the
records room. You're like, I'mgonna just gonna go check this out and
just answer Yeah, any odd curiosityyou had of like what what did happen
at that car accident? Like didthey miss the light or missed the light?
And you go back and look inand be like, oh, yeah,
yeah, no I didn't log in. I was I thought I logged
in, but I didn't click thebutton something like that. Is that gonna

(58:38):
happen or is it gonna be like, no, I clearly logged in,
give me back my token, andI would be curious to see if like
would that give you closure to know? Either way? Like, would you
imagine since I'll be in heaven,I'll be like that I'm gonna get some
punch. Could you imagine how goodthe punch is in him? It's gonna

(59:00):
be heavenly. It's gonna taste likeit's gonna taste like coffee. Smells,
that's what I Yeah, right, that's it's got to be better than Hawaiian,
right, Like it's the coffee,Oh heavenly punch to be at least
three punch notches above Hawaiian. Yeah, it's like when you drink it,

(59:21):
it's more like the punch is drinking. You. Have you ever put a
rum and punch? Uh? Yeah, like a rum punch. I think
I've heard of rum punch. Irecently heard a rum punch, is what
I meant to say. And uh, it sounds delightful, but I've never
I've never drank it before, butI'm like, yeah, why not,
I've always uh since we're drinking whiskey, and I can tell you for so
many years, I kind of dismissedrum as like a drink my parents would
drink, or like a lightweight drinkor something. Uh. And I've been

(59:45):
drinking it more because I make thatsecret beach drink that we developed, and
I realized it's a very versatile, low impact, pretty sauce filled drink.
You could do a lot with rum. And uh, yeah, I kind
of I'm gonna go home and havesome rum. Yeah you get a good
sipping room. Yeah, telling youabsolutely, there doesn't have a rum neat
if it's a good sipping room,it's got some caramel and vanilla in it.

(01:00:07):
It is good. That's what stuff. That's what steak will taste like
in Heaven almost taste like good sipping. Yeah. Yeah, I feel like
there's a lot of confusing tastes coming. Well. You know, the roads
are made of gold. There's alot, there's a lot to figure out
going what is what is gold madeout of? Uh? Asphalt? I

(01:00:28):
was going to say solar flares, but I think you're probably more right solar
flares, yeah, because it hasthat mean solar flares are a currency?
Or does there no curse? There'sno currency, there's me to buy anything.
You can do it more as likea joke, like, oh you
want to buy it? Sure, good one. Here you go, buddy.
Hello. Does everybody find your jokeshumorous in Heaven? Like? Is
everything a positive experience? No?I don't think there's there's like there's some

(01:00:52):
limitations. There's still oh you're callingit that's funny that we did two thirty
minute. No. I just wantto tell you that my wife is playing
Guild Wars again, so she's backinto it. Why didn't she stop again?
She just it gets overwhelming sometimes orthere's just you know, it's so
don't feel like it was a jobbecause you felt like it was a job.

(01:01:12):
No, I think she just didn'twant to do it again, like
I don't want to sit down. She got into a couple of TV shows.
So we're back playing back in peaked. This is good night everybody?
How does how like how does thathappen? For? Is she sitting there?
Like? What was it? Sheposted something really funny on Instagram where
it was a picture of you intentlystaring at the television wearing your Patriots hat.

(01:01:36):
I'm assuming watching the Sunday night game. She goes, this is how
we watch what my daughter calls basketball. Yeah, but I remember that,
so, like I imagine that inthose moments, right, she's kind of
left to her own thoughts, andso she goes, you know, I
think I want to play Guild Wars. I think what happened this time around

(01:01:59):
is that did I get her tosit down with it? Yeah? It
took that of like can we let'sjust play it for ten minutes? Just
ten minutes. It was some likehard week that we had, and she's
like, okay, well I'll playit for ten minutes and that's usually all
it takes. So when it getsback into her system, when you say
a hard we like I taught Ididn't have a hard week, but I
was talking about if I didn't taketoo long recording this video I was doing
before we did this. Yeah,I was gonna go out and have a

(01:02:20):
cigar and some whiskey before you gothere. And is that like, is
that how you guys unwind? Isyou? Or is it more of a
thing where she does it for you, because yeah, yeah, it helps
decompress you to know that you're bothin there playing Let's do this fun thing
together this one. Are you guyslike literally seeing each other on the screen
or you're just playing the game independently. No, we're in the same room
or a back store to each other. But we're hanging out together. But

(01:02:42):
I mean on the in the game. Yeah, we're together. You're doing
the same like we do the thingmaps and quests and so so once the
bug gets back in her, thenshe goes back and plays it. So
I'll come home from work and goto log in and her account doesn't.
It's gonna be fun to like kindof think of like I would imagine this
start off as a thing she didfor you, and then because I don't,
I can't imagine that you thought shewas going to enjoy it to the

(01:03:04):
level she does. I don't.And here's the thing, she's good at
it too. That's the thing. There's moments where I'm like, oh,
she's not going to be able todo this, and then she does it.
I'm like, oh, all right, not bad. Look at you.
So we got our glider. Yeah, they're un because because the end
of the when you want to playguildings sort of gland or around and do
it. Look at that? What'sthat? What's that a shield? Is

(01:03:27):
that a chrysalis shield? Holy smokesshoe. It's not bad. You should
play the game with us, shouldspice it up. I don't. I
don't listen. I'm not into threeways, Join the guild, join the
guild wars. That's a good timeto end right there. Here you go.
All right, that was our show. I hope you enjoyed it.
If you did not, good luckfinding another show that talks mildly about video

(01:03:52):
games that is in the video gamegenre. Good luck with that. Life
friend, all of your adventures.Good luck to you, all right,
they won't. I'm not mad.Stop looking at other podcasts. Stop it.
I know you just want me tobe jealous. And it's working.
Okay. Is that what you neededto hear? It's working. If you

(01:04:13):
wanted to be making direct eye contactwith me right now while I'm yelling at
you, you should be tuning into twitch dot tv, slash Thie,
Kevin Miller. Are you? Probablynot because you're too busy looking at other
podcasts. Do other podcasts put videostreams of their moderately decorated studio for you
to see on the internet. No, No, they do not. He's

(01:04:38):

listen look at it. Talk atme. My eyes are up here.
Okay. If you want to talkto other people about this podcast, not
other podcasts. Do what Carmen does. Invite people to bit dot lee,
slash Gamerland discord. Okay, don'tjust go off and be in other discords.

(01:05:01):
Bring people to the nice discord.Right. Look at what your life
choices have gotten you so far?Okay? Is this what you wanted?
No, so you have to changeotherwise. It's a definition of insanity.
Doing the same thing again expecting adifferent result. Looking at other podcasts is

(01:05:23):
just going to get you another brokenheart. I want to delete my iPhone,
then do it. Do it becauseyou don't need to have podcasts in
your life. Okay, I'm sorry. I don't need your pity, I
need your loyalty. Okay, youhave played that Cult Mafia too, It's
really good, quired Accolad. Yeah, well done. I didn't even need

(01:05:46):
a guitar. Your kool Aid meteris. By the way, I really
do want to play that game.If that is it on the phone?
Is that what he said? No, I think it's a simulator. We
gotta get it. Is it?But it's a PC game. We'll find
out. I'll download it right now, all right, I'll behalf of the
Kevin Miller dot com. This isjust the worship saying okay bye. Right.
