Speaker 1 (00:26):
It's the Internet. You're busy, let's do this. Welcome to
the Games Deicides podcast. This is the podcast where we
decide everything about the world of video games so you
never have to think for yourself.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
I'm your host, Jeff Grubb, and.
Speaker 3 (00:37):
With me is Mike Manatti.
Speaker 1 (00:40):
In today's episode, Steely Dan might never be in a
video game now, and Heretic and Hexton are back as.
Speaker 3 (00:47):
Well as capcom be monetizing them gooners.
Speaker 1 (00:50):
That's what it says here. Anyhow, I believe it's true
as well. But first, Mike Manatti, how are you doing?
Speaker 4 (00:56):
Oh, I'm pretty good. I went the RBS nflow guilt
about it, but it tasted pretty good.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
That's uh, you know what. Don't feel guilty, but you
earned it. Also, I would go for some Arby's right now.
I had a couple of slices of my kids frozen pizza.
I made it for them, and then I had two
of those, so I also feel guilty. There's plenty of
guilty go around.
Speaker 3 (01:14):
It was a busy day. I was a busy day.
Speaker 4 (01:16):
We did a lot of like extra shows. I actually
got upset when I realized that that Nintendo Indie World
was earlier today.
Speaker 2 (01:24):
Oh it was today we did that?
Speaker 3 (01:26):
Huh, yeah that was today. Wow.
Speaker 4 (01:29):
I kind of don't like that. When I realized that,
I just not feel like it was today. No, that
was literally twelve hours ago. Well, let's do another show, alright,
I'm feeling it. Yeah, lots lots today.
Speaker 1 (01:45):
Little We're gonna have quite a bit tomorrow as well,
if you're gonna be watching over on a giant bomb.
But right now we're doing de sides. So let's just
hang out, talk about video games, talk about whatever.
Speaker 4 (01:54):
I'm excited for tomorrow. I'm getting my new glasses. I
can't wait. Oh that's all I do right, Just want
to just destroy these right now. I could drive to
the eyeglasses place. I'm so fucking sick of these glasses.
They're so awful. They're like like the shitty finishes coming
off the sides of them where it touches the side
of my face.
Speaker 1 (02:14):
You destroyed them now, and then the world like ends
and there's no mail, mail delivery or whatever when you
can't go get them, and.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
Then you don't have any glasses at all.
Speaker 3 (02:23):
Yeah, there was time.
Speaker 4 (02:27):
I could see fine without them, honestly, like I could
get by without them Okay, it's a little I'd like
to eye glasses.
Speaker 3 (02:34):
You near sighted? Far sided? What's the deal? I can't further,
always harder to see.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
Okay, so yes, doing that's that's the same for me.
Speaker 3 (02:43):
I'm near sighted. Yeah, look at the dance. Look at
the dance, my god, look at those.
Speaker 5 (02:51):
Near sighted is when you can see from far away.
Or I thought it was the.
Speaker 3 (02:54):
Other way around.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
No near sight. It means you're you could see things
that are near you.
Speaker 5 (03:00):
Yeah, man, I got all.
Speaker 2 (03:04):
You get though, right like you just say it? Yeah,
near sighted? I can I have sight for which is near?
Speaker 4 (03:10):

Speaker 4 (04:34):
It's like, okay, you know this part under my thumb
and the palm my hand concert right here.
Speaker 5 (04:38):
I'm sorry?
Speaker 4 (04:38):
What was Yes, it's kind of numb for the last
couple of days. Wait, so wait the muscle there this
this this part right here where.
Speaker 5 (04:48):
You get too many tombs ups m Now I.
Speaker 3 (04:52):
Use this too far up your ass?
Speaker 2 (04:54):
Well what did you do?
Speaker 3 (04:55):
Okay?
Speaker 2 (04:55):
So, okay, how many days?
Speaker 4 (04:58):
A couple of days? Everyone thinks it's as I'm drinking off.
I don't use this hand for that.
Speaker 1 (05:03):
I didn't think that I know which hand you drink
off with. No problem here for your best friend. Okay,
it's probably like repetitive stress injury, right, it's probably it's
probably some it's probably gamer hand a little bit. You
just got to do some stretches. But it comes for
us all like it does come for us all numb?
Speaker 3 (05:21):
Is God?
Speaker 2 (05:23):
What have you been playing recently? A lot of switch to.
Speaker 3 (05:27):
Actually not a ton.
Speaker 4 (05:29):
There's a lot about our wild just mean, I guess
I'm here a lot. It's definitely it's kind of right
where I cradle the mouse.
Speaker 2 (05:36):
Huh Okay, yeah, yeah it could be that.
Speaker 1 (05:40):
So yeah, just look up some hand stretches or you know,
type your symptoms into Google and you'll get some hand
stretches I've been doing.
Speaker 4 (05:48):
Why are Mike's hands? So, Harry, did you miss? Did
you miss the dump truck today? Want? Do you need
to show it again?
Speaker 3 (05:55):
I mean they can go look I'm not doing.
Speaker 1 (05:57):
You're right, Yeah, that's the or they could pay for
it either one. Oh wait, no, you're not allowed to
do that. Actually we're not allowed.
Speaker 3 (06:02):
To have Yeah. I did it on a Twitch by accident.
Speaker 4 (06:06):
I was laying by a pool in Disney World and
I take your sholf, like, I'll do it for ten
stuffs that someone did and I did it. Then I
thought about what I had just done. I was like,
I probably shouldn't strip for money on Twitch.
Speaker 1 (06:18):
Yeah probably not. Well you should, but they don't allow it. Yeah,
So some hands stretches. I've been having it where I'm
holding the steam deck and my left hand is getting
fatigued pretty quickly, like getting kind of tired. I'm like,
what the hell is going on? It feels fine all
the time, and it's like, okay, I think I just
like have a pull, like a sort of a tired
muscle in there somewhere.
Speaker 4 (06:38):
Yeah, it doesn't hurt like somethings'll get risk pain if
I'm like doing it a lot.
Speaker 3 (06:41):
It doesn't hurt. It's just like it's just weird. It's
just weird there.
Speaker 1 (06:45):
I mean, you know, it could be a combination of things,
maybe some inflammation. I don't know, Maybe try a compression,
like one of those risk compression thoughts.
Speaker 3 (06:53):
We just start the show already. Anyhow, contr Band canceled
after four years. Man, that's steey.
Speaker 2 (07:00):
It's another bummer.
Speaker 6 (07:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (07:03):
For people that don't remember, this is the trailer from
E three four years ago, I guess it would have been.
Was it E three banout of an SGF? I don't
remember what it was. It was an Xbox showcase during
the summer four years ago, and there was a bunch
of shit laying around and they played a steely dance
song and so I was excited because they had a
steely dang dance song in it. But it was being
(07:24):
made by Avalanche. The makers have just caused that avalanche.
There's multiple Avalanches. This is the one we're talking about here.
And now the game has been canceled without us ever
seen a single other second of any kind of footage
from the game.
Speaker 3 (07:37):
Ever. What the hell?
Speaker 1 (07:41):
Yeah, I mean, it's it's right in line with where
Microsoft's at right now, Like, you know, they canceled Perfect Dark,
so what won't won't they cancel? They cancel a lot
of their other partnership projects. You know, remember when I
would be like, hey, I got some leaks from out
of Xbox and they're doing that Dragon project with IOI.
Speaker 2 (07:59):
I don't think they're doing that anymore.
Speaker 1 (08:00):
Or the Wu Tang game that got revealed this year
that was originally part of like a deal with Xbox,
And you know, I don't want to like blow up
their spot at all. But when I was like, hey, yet,
what was it like kind of like working with partners
finding the right partner to work with. The people I
was talking to that worked at that studio, brass Line
was like, look, kind of looked at each other, and
(08:21):
I got the sense They're like, we had some troubles
with a partner before. Wouldn't be surprised to that partner
was Microsoft. I think Microsoft's is just not in the
business of making a lot of video games. Now they
still are making a lot of video games, But you know,
you were making well with Avalanche. That sounded like a
decent idea at least give it a shot. I mean,
it was going to be a high scheme. We don't
(08:42):
really know what this was going to be, but I
still would have liked to have seen it.
Speaker 2 (08:45):
Well, they're not making that anymore. They're not making Perfect
Dark anymore.
Speaker 1 (08:47):
They're I guess they're still making od with with Kojamo
that Like Jason Cher got word from Microsoft that said
that they are still doing that, and we'll see.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
I guess.
Speaker 1 (08:58):
I kind of don't know why, Like to point, do
they need an exclusive game from Kochuma on the Xbox.
They don't even make their games exclusively for Xbox, so
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (09:07):
It's weird that was something green Lad in a different era.
Speaker 1 (09:10):
Huh yep, absolutely yes, so very strange. I mean, I
don't know what to make this other than this is
just where Microsoft is at right now.
Speaker 4 (09:18):
I mean, it's just such a shame because Avalanche has
made a lot of cool games, obviously the Just Cause series,
but even you know that Mad Max game is pretty good.
Speaker 3 (09:26):
Rage two was actually good. They worked on that.
Speaker 4 (09:29):
So yeah, it just seems like it's one of these
things like, wow, that's a lot of time that they
spent on this, So now it's going to be you know,
there's gonna be that O D thing, but it's like, oh,
even longer for another avalanche game of some kind and
a lot of studios that's rough. That puts them in
a dangerous situation. Now, yep, definitely, you know, uh, what's
(09:52):
hands up?
Speaker 3 (09:53):
Panther?
Speaker 5 (09:54):
I was about to say that the State of the
K game is just state at the K tree issues.
What was with diation.
Speaker 1 (10:02):
I don't know if it's dead, but it's I mean,
that's one of their internal studios. Those are weird in
a different way, but you know they've been working on
that for a very long time now. That's that has
had a lot of weirdness to it, where like the
leadership team left and then they started a new studio
and hired Austin Walker and fucked all those people over
in different fun ways.
Speaker 2 (10:21):
So yeah, and then State of Day to KAY three.
Speaker 1 (10:23):
I always heard, and this is a long time ago,
that that studio was really anxious to prove everybody wrong
and show that they could make a strong stated to
K three without that that leadership.
Speaker 2 (10:32):
And I believe them if it ever comes out, but
who knows.
Speaker 1 (10:34):
But yeah, there is a pervasive weirdness throughout Microsoft's lineup
for sure, because I if they they're they're obviously turning
into this massive third party studio, and third party might
not even be the right term, like it's kind of
a platform unto itself without the hardware platform, but whatever,
it's effectively a third party company. I mean, I guess
(10:57):
that puts them back in the situation where only the
biggest swings matter. And that is what Matt Boody said
not long ago when the when they were laying people
off by the thousands, that they want to focus on
their biggest swings, on the things that could have the
biggest impact. And you know, Contraband was gonna have to
probably had a long road to hoe before it got.
Speaker 2 (11:16):
To a point where it could have that kind of impact.
Speaker 1 (11:18):
And you kind of look at their lineup up and down,
it's like, Okay, they don't they don't have a ton
of those.
Speaker 2 (11:23):
And if Perfect Dark wasn't even going to be one
of those, what will be?
Speaker 3 (11:26):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (11:27):
Yeah, speaking of thinking about Microsoft kind of sucking in
Austin Walker, I know he had a message yesterday kind
of you know, pointing out and talking about you know
how Microsoft's cloud stuff, Azure is just being being used
by Israel and what not to to help with their
genocide and Palestine, so that that part, Uh, that's also awful,
(11:50):
though even more awful. So yeah, Microsoft just kind of
shit right now, just a bad company.
Speaker 1 (11:57):
Yeah, They're they're monitoring a million calls an hour or
something like that of Palestinians. Uh, and they're collating that
data handing it over to people doing an ethnic cleansing
in that in that country.
Speaker 3 (12:09):
It is.
Speaker 2 (12:10):
Yeah, it's vile.
Speaker 1 (12:10):
And that's why Microsoft continues to be under the BDS
movement or there They call for a.
Speaker 2 (12:15):
Boycott of Xbox specifically.
Speaker 3 (12:19):
Because that they do believe that that.
Speaker 1 (12:21):
Will draw attention to this, and they're more right every day,
and it should be drawn attention to.
Speaker 2 (12:27):
Uh yeah, yeah, you said it, Mike.
Speaker 1 (12:30):
If you're making a game with Microsoft in whatever capacity,
it's just got to be harrowing right now. And there
can't you can't have a lot of faith that it's
going to work out. And that's true for a lot
of the industry, but it's especially bad at Microsoft. So
we'll see what what survives out of this period of
weirdness while they continue to shift toward.
Speaker 2 (12:49):
AI and burn up money in that money burning machine.
Speaker 3 (12:52):
So yeah, Ai.
Speaker 4 (12:54):
It's great for making art worse and for helping in
your genocide. It's just a fantastic tick so far.
Speaker 3 (13:00):
Just a really great tool across the board.
Speaker 7 (13:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (13:02):
Absolutely.
Speaker 1 (13:03):
Uh you see this thing that just got announced five
minutes of ten minutes ago. I guess My Mario a
series of Mario themed products to be released from August
twenty sixth on twenty of this year, so in about
two weeks three weeks of the products in the My
Mario series will be available at Nintendo, Tokyo, Sock, and Kyoto.
Select products in the My My Nintendo series to be
(13:25):
released outside of j Ban starting in twenty twenty six So,
I guess we won't get this in August.
Speaker 3 (13:31):
It is.
Speaker 1 (13:32):
There's this free app called Hello Mario that will be
on mobile and switch and it's like an interactive Mario
face that you can talk to or touch and it
will respond in various ways. It's not Maybe mylow is
a bit too ambitious. I guess maybe not even talk.
Speaker 4 (13:50):
Even this app it looks like, you know, you're doing
Mario sixty four style stuff to this.
Speaker 3 (13:55):
Yes, it looks like very young Mario stuff.
Speaker 4 (13:58):
It's like they're really targeting maybe the youngest kids possible.
It's yeah, it's it's for toddlers. That's you know, that's smart.
Get them while they're young. Toto's already good with that.
Speaker 5 (14:09):
Related with the forties, like Cereal.
Speaker 4 (14:12):
Again, this is so targeted to toddlers who don't know
what a fortieth anniversary is. Not really, they're not using
any of that verbiage here either. I think it's just
a new product line again for of Mario, targeted at
like one in two year olds.
Speaker 1 (14:29):
Yeah, I'm like looking at some of these other Yeah,
there's like sippy cups and like safety bowls and a
toddler's hoodie and like a little dinas yeah yes, blocks
and diorama sets and maybe what looks like maybe a
video of Mario teaching you why it's important to comb
your hair, Like it's that kind of stuff Mario teaches
(14:51):
typing and hygiene. I mean, it's it's very cute. I'm
I'm into this stuff. My kids are probably a bit
too old for this actually now in a lot of cases,
although I'll touch Mario's face, I don't care cha.
Speaker 5 (15:03):
I'm saying it's perfect for that. Okay, that's not cool.
Speaker 1 (15:07):
Funny, Uh yeah, but I think you're right, Mike, get them,
get them while they're young. This is like, this feels
like the next step for Nintendo's smartphone presence where it's like, Okay,
we tried Super Mario Run and charging ten dollars, and
we had some free to play games. We did Mario
Kart and some of that stuff worked, some of it didn't.
(15:28):
But like, what else can we use this for while
we're making a ton of money with our console business.
So it's like, well, kids like to use tablets and
they're too young. Even when they're too young to use
a switch, we should like let them know what Mario
is at that point.
Speaker 3 (15:40):
It's just it's that simple, right, hmm.
Speaker 4 (15:43):
Yeah, that's all it is, you know, like the table
stup is just part of it. It really is a
whole product line.
Speaker 1 (15:50):
Yeah, and then yes, the Warrior Teachers Capitalism game will
come soon after for sure. All Right, let's let's keep
moving right along here. Night Dive is back for Heretic
and Hexin today at Quake Con. Night Dive, as they
tease when when we did a kind of a play
along with them on Giant Bomb for system Shock, they
did their System Shock Enhanced Edition or whatever, it was
(16:11):
the twenty fifth anniversh three was the system Shock too.
That was system Shock too. That's right, thank you, Mike. Yes,
and I sat down, I played the game. I was
having a good time talking with them, and they were like, yeah,
we're gonna have something at Quake Con, don't worry, and that.
Speaker 3 (16:25):
Was like exciting, Well, it was more exciting than that.
Speaker 1 (16:27):
I even realized it's Heretic and Hexing games that I
really liked, and I played some Heretic today.
Speaker 3 (16:33):
That game holds up.
Speaker 2 (16:34):
That's just a ton of fun. It's a good time.
Speaker 4 (16:37):
I'm really excited. Heretic was kind of like the Big
Quake or the Doom Clone. In fact, John Romero worked
on it a lot in that Masters of Doom book
that we both have read Slash listening to like It's
even kind of brought up that some people at it
resented how much time he spent working on it, but
I think it shows through there. It's it's definitely a
(16:58):
stemp from that era. Play through just the Doom one
and two remastered that night I put out a couple
years ago. I played through that this year and I
thought those still held up. So I'm super excited for
this just yeah, doing like medieval fantasy doom cool idea,
love it.
Speaker 2 (17:13):
Yep.
Speaker 1 (17:13):
So step into the definitive re release of two dark
spell casting shooters that shape the genre. So that is
Heretic and Hexan. It's not hex in two, right, that's
the one that got the sequel. Hex and two two
is like rap it was a bit later raven.
Speaker 2 (17:28):
It was raven. I think that's sounds it's a raven thing.
Speaker 4 (17:30):
Yeah, So hext and two is a little bit more
advanced kind of a thing that sounds right, helps you
get yeah, ninety seven.
Speaker 2 (17:39):
So this is you know, still the doom engine.
Speaker 1 (17:41):
Heretic and Hexim were released in ninety four and ninety five,
pushing the first person shooters into bold new territory.
Speaker 2 (17:46):
Blah blah blah.
Speaker 1 (17:47):
This is going to include unless you already own Heretic
or Hexan. I think it's either or, in which case
you get the updated version of the version of these automatically.
But if you go to buy this now, you'll get Heretics,
Shadows of the Serpent Riders, Hexan Beyond Heretic, Hexan, Deaf,
Kings of the Dark, Citadel and two all new episodes
created in collaboration between individuals at ID Software and Night
(18:08):
Dive Studios that includes Heretic Faith Renewed and Hexan Vestiges
of Grandeur Grandeur that There are a total of one
hundred and seventeen campaign maps and one hundred and twenty
death match maps in Heretic plus Hexan. New enhancements include
online cross platform deathmatch and co op for up to
sixteen players, a local spolitt screen death match and co.
Speaker 2 (18:31):
Op for up to eight players. What is sixteen player cooperative?
Speaker 3 (18:36):
Gen you gets sixteen people together? Yes, let's see what
that looks like.
Speaker 4 (18:40):
If that sounds wow, I always forget that. So there's Heretics,
then there's hex in the sequel, and then there's a
Hexit two and ninety seven from from Raven. You know
these are all Raven these were And then that's right,
also us Heretic two. So there's a Hexa two and
a Heritontic two. Yeah, it's confusing.
Speaker 3 (19:00):
So it's heretic hexin hex and two heretic too.
Speaker 1 (19:05):
And then uh yeah, Hexan for Nintendo sixty four is
just Hexan, right, that's not a Doom sixty four situation.
Speaker 4 (19:12):
I don't think it has much of a Doom sixty
four situation at least, I think, Yeah, I think that's
just basically Hexan.
Speaker 2 (19:18):
I probably like him a ton. I rented it a
couple of times. It reenjoyed it on.
Speaker 4 (19:21):
Raven is such a cool company. They did a lot
of stuff and this is where it starts here pretty
much for there's a couple they did before that against
these excuse me there. Yeah, you know, see I was Raven,
but it did publish.
Speaker 1 (19:34):
That these games, and that that's why people were so
so mad at Romero for help, because it was Raven.
He was going over to help Raven a bunch and
uh and that was like the one of the first
times they licensed the the the uh id tech, the
Doom Engine, and uh yeah, I'm sure he was having
fun kind of teaching him how to do that stuff.
But yeah, these are just like sort of gothic, witchy,
(19:56):
spellcasting wizard versions of Doom.
Speaker 2 (19:59):
And and again they rule. It is a good time.
Speaker 1 (20:02):
There's some it's good heavy metal vibes like all these
games had back then. And like I said, I was
playing it today, it holds up like it's immediately fun
and I'm gonna play a bunch more.
Speaker 4 (20:12):
Yeah, There's so many other Raven first person shooters that
I'd love to see remaster, because you know, they did
Jedi Outcast, which is just incredible. Excuse me, Star Wars
Dark Forces three, Jedi Night two, Jedi Outcast, we also
need Jedi Night.
Speaker 3 (20:26):
I'd love to see that one done.
Speaker 4 (20:28):
I also did one of my favorite Star Trek Voyager
Elite Force, really fun first person shooter, one of the
better Star Trek games. Also has an awesome expansion pack
where you just get to kind of walk around the ship.
I'd loved that a ton, so know there. It's also
Raven that made Quake four.
Speaker 3 (20:47):
It wasn't it. That's very interesting they did Quake four.
Speaker 1 (20:50):
They did they did Wolfenstein like twenty it was two
thousand and nine, something.
Speaker 4 (20:56):
Like that X Men Origins Wolverine game that everybody actually likes.
It's ay, are just into Call of Duty minds and
now yeah.
Speaker 1 (21:03):
I mean they are like one of the main Call
of Duty developers, not like not like an Infinity Ward,
but they're like one of the primary ones, always working on.
Speaker 3 (21:11):
But after those two, they're kind of the most important one.
Speaker 1 (21:14):
Yeah, I think they are yes, sledgehammers of the next
But I think they're responsible for a lot of war
Zone I believe, so, yeah, they are crucial to call duty.
Yeah yeah, it would be awesome to see Raven be
able to return to making cool games like they once did.
Speaker 2 (21:29):
But at least they got to make a bunch of
cool games up.
Speaker 3 (21:31):
To this point.
Speaker 1 (21:33):
Okay, let's see here some other news from the week
EVO did happen. There was also Bikini's good business for
street Fighters. Street Fighters doing well again. You'll see it
probably pop up even higher on the Bomb twelve tomorrow
little teaser.
Speaker 3 (21:48):
There a lot more people are playing it. Obviously EVO
helps with that. EVO got people excited about Street Fighter.
But you know what else gets people excited? Cammy Cammy.
Speaker 4 (22:02):
A tube top with most pronounced tan lines you'll see,
uh yeah, yeah, you know, you're right, like you know,
the excitement of EVO And even though it's not been
a few years since Straight Fir six half, but it
was still the main game at EVO.
Speaker 3 (22:15):
It was the grand finale.
Speaker 4 (22:17):
Uh of course that was there is also you know,
the launch of season three, so you also sigot you
have the first two character in the new character pass.
Speaker 3 (22:26):
That's something. But also yeah, bikinis.
Speaker 5 (22:30):
Yeah, I gave you the blood money for the beginning something.
Part of the problem I play.
Speaker 3 (22:36):
I'm not saying we're above it.
Speaker 4 (22:40):
It's like, you know, I like, I just like pointed
out that this stuff is like a little like I
don't know, I don't mean pathetic, I.
Speaker 3 (22:45):
Don't, but you know, it is what it is. What
it is.
Speaker 1 (22:48):
It's it's base, right, it's base. It's uh, it goes,
it goes after a very base need in humans that
we all have. So yeah, we're just pointing it out.
Speaker 2 (22:56):
We get it.
Speaker 5 (22:56):
Yeah, so I'll watch you get everything. I'd let you
game playing and everything of this off it on the
cameo office when you see it in games in saying
that the shoes shoes like it's crazy, brother, Like, come on,
what's going on?
Speaker 3 (23:08):
It's it's wild.
Speaker 4 (23:10):
There are just there's there are there are shots of
butts that made me gafa.
Speaker 5 (23:14):
Yeah, like god damn.
Speaker 2 (23:16):
You should see not even in there yet.
Speaker 4 (23:18):
So they still have the my Bikini card to play
at some point, you know they're gonna they're gonna play.
Speaker 5 (23:23):
That's the ultimate. So yeah, I get I give them
the city bucks for this fucking outfits for characters that
don't even use.
Speaker 1 (23:36):
The game is uh, it went from twenty seven thousand
concurrent players at its peak the day before the fifty thousand,
so almost doubled. Yeap, people are in the street Fighter
and then people are in the Street Fighter like it. Like,
like I said, a lot of responses for that in
the Bomb twelve, which will be on the Game This
Morning show tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (23:54):
But yeah, plenty of other stuff on an EVO.
Speaker 1 (23:57):
We don't have to cover all of this, but I
guess final thoughts on that before we do we move
on from talking about EVO in total.
Speaker 4 (24:03):
Yeah, I mean it's interesting because I think Sean's I
says before, you don't really get huge announcements per se
at Evil.
Speaker 2 (24:10):
But you get news for the fighting game freaks like that.
Speaker 5 (24:14):
Yeah to the later year, we not even this like
it's happening since Sony took over.
Speaker 3 (24:22):
But it's a little bit more.
Speaker 5 (24:25):
But yeah, they've been dwindling a lot, and this this
year is kind of it's a lot of news. We
don't get this many news from all old evos, so
it's it's pretty cool.
Speaker 1 (24:34):
They usually get like a couple announcements for EVO and
this is like, yeah, pretty like lengthy list. Here, Uh
some footage from that Virtual Fighter game, which looked really cool.
I think, Yeah, Mortal Kombat Trilogy tea or not tease
confirmed for Mortal Kombat Legacy, but they are. I guess
they're teasing some other Mortal Kombat stuff. That's got to
be sub zero mythology, right.
Speaker 4 (24:55):
I mean, I mean, why not if they're putting place
times on there because it's the PlayStation one version of trilogy,
just just throw it on there. Just just do it.
Give me a call. I'll give you some clips. I'll
give you some voiceline, I'll give you some quotes. Come on,
I'll be in your commentory. Won't even you won't even
(25:15):
have to pay me. I'd like it, but you won't
have to. You don't have to, but you should.
Speaker 1 (25:21):
Teke and eight showed off Armor King and revealed their
their new fighter Sea Viper was shown off. Four Street
Fighter six Ken Masters shown up. We knew he was coming,
but they showed him off and he's available in Fatal
Fury now.
Speaker 5 (25:33):
So yeahless token, That's that's what I want to say.
For only for PlayStations.
Speaker 4 (25:41):
So I was I know Token was there, and they
talked about the bait, and they showed it off a lot.
I was a little surprised that for a game that
has a lot of character slots to announce. Still, they
weren't like, and here's one character to announce during EVO.
Speaker 5 (25:55):
You know, I thought, like last months. You know, he's
very early since the announcement.
Speaker 4 (26:01):
I guess, But I mean the game's coming out and
what like a year six months, I don't know.
Speaker 5 (26:07):
Yeah, we don't know. You're giving us somebody six Yeah, Yeah,
that's cool. They also they show Lucy from from cyler
Punk on Guilty Year Strive Drive, which, man, this they
have the best animators in that in access because she
(26:27):
looks incredible. It's like watching it is crazy. And they
should make every animal look like those characters because she
looks insane.
Speaker 2 (26:38):
Yeah, are you anything else from EVO?
Speaker 3 (26:39):
Guys?
Speaker 4 (26:40):
I was, uh, And I'm excited that they're adding those
PSP Street Fighter Alpha three upper characters.
Speaker 5 (26:46):
Yeah, the other character.
Speaker 4 (26:49):
Yeah, yeah, oh no, it's like I said, MACKI, although
apparently you can't use them in like online modes for
some reason, which is something I hope.
Speaker 3 (26:56):
They go back on. But it be nice if they
could do that.
Speaker 5 (26:58):
Yeah, they might be broken somehow, and they might need
to be fixed.
Speaker 3 (27:01):
But it's also Street Fighter three Upper Online. That's true.
Speaker 5 (27:05):
Yeah, Who's who is like Secret Land over there, omnimen
On Invincible versus the mother sucker luks fucking brutal That
ship games Brutal.
Speaker 3 (27:19):
Series is brutal. Yeah, that's the whole thing is Yeah,
I played and yeah, that's the whole thing.
Speaker 7 (27:25):
Yeah, video games waiting, we're feisting. I can't say anything.
This happened before, Yes, it did happen before.
Speaker 1 (27:37):
And I still don't know what you're trying to say,
you know what, feasting feast, feasting, feasting there listening stupid
you guys. Uh yeah, no, that's fair. All right, let's see,
did Donkey Kung Binanza go back up to a ninety two?
Speaker 3 (27:54):
Are good?
Speaker 1 (27:55):
Mafia the Old Maid Review? Oh shit, well you give
it a bad score?
Speaker 3 (28:04):
Yeah, I'll do it. I'll do it. I'm corrupt.
Speaker 2 (28:07):
Oh man, I knew it. Mafia win.
Speaker 4 (28:10):
I just get one point instead of two, right, exactly,
Well at one point instead of like it's like more
than that, right, I think it's like five. What about
Mafia the Old Country, Yeah, it's out seventy seven on
Open Critic but people, you know, reviews are generally like
sounding like, no way, it's only a seventy seven, just
because the gameplay is not as fun, but everything else.
Speaker 2 (28:31):
Is really good.
Speaker 3 (28:33):
How passed? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (28:35):
That was my question. Make any chance that you play
this one?
Speaker 4 (28:38):
No, I'll tell you what. That's almost a better number
than I was expecting to.
Speaker 2 (28:43):
Yeah, wolf hear what do we give it? What?
Speaker 3 (28:45):
What? What?
Speaker 2 (28:46):
Where were our guesses from Mafia the Old Country?
Speaker 3 (28:48):
They went lower than that? Uh?
Speaker 4 (28:50):
Yeah, I told you before. It just spiking Italian. I
don't really love mobster stuff anyways. I've never played a
Mafia game. I don't think this is the one I'm
gonna start on.
Speaker 5 (28:58):
It's about look for the Italian so way you to
like it?
Speaker 4 (29:01):
Yeah, it's a bit it's anti Italian propaganda.
Speaker 1 (29:05):
Yeah, I see you afraid of phobia, Jesus I.
Speaker 2 (29:09):
I'm gonna check this out on the site tomorrow, I
think if we have time.
Speaker 1 (29:12):
We are doing Sunderfolk for UPF, but we have some
time between that and game this morning, so I'm going
to start it and see. I guess I just want
to see what it looks like, because people are talking
about it's like it's a pretty looking game and a
pretty looking place, and I like, I like the idea
of Sicily.
Speaker 4 (29:27):
Yeah, I bet you will be almost exclusively looking at
cut scenes the entire time you play it on Giant
bonmd dot com.
Speaker 2 (29:33):
I think for the first hour, I think you are
probably correct, but.
Speaker 1 (29:37):
It's also and then when it's not, it's like a
very linear game. But I'll check it out.
Speaker 3 (29:40):
I want to see it.
Speaker 5 (29:42):
I like the idea of Sicily. Cisel is a real place,
you know, yes, you like ito a real place?
Speaker 6 (29:50):
Why?
Speaker 2 (29:50):
Yes, I like to think about it, is what I mean.
Speaker 1 (29:52):
Like, Yeah, it's like, yeah, the place I like to
think about and imagine going to someday. That's kind of
That's what you're getting is that I'm never going to go,
So I'm like just imagining, like what it would be
like to go there, and I'll just play a game
about it.
Speaker 4 (30:05):
Yes, Charter says that you guessed a seventy two and
I guessed a seventy one.
Speaker 2 (30:10):
Oh okay, okay, yeah, I think.
Speaker 3 (30:13):
I'm pretty safe for that. The Italians than I did that.
Speaker 1 (30:17):
Man, I wonder who went first on that one. Actually,
I'll be curious to know that. Okay, I think that
that does it for the headlines. But some people got
some stuff they want to talk about, and to get
us to talk about it, they send them some super chats.
So we're gonna go to a break, we'll come back
and we'll read all those. We are back, let's get
(30:39):
into it. Mike reads some super chats please, Okay.
Speaker 4 (30:42):
David Darlene says, you must stay true to your word. Jeff,
how do you plan to commit domestic tea? Let's just
say tea.
Speaker 2 (30:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (30:53):
Look, I don't want to, like as a good tea.
I'm not going to reveal my plans, So come up
with something.
Speaker 3 (30:59):
Okay, come on.
Speaker 4 (31:00):
Look, I know we didn't get Funky Kong in the game,
and let's just say it. Think that's not the big
splare word. But I have not seen a trace of
Funky Kong. And I fight a lot of that game. Uh,
Candy Kong mentioned somehow.
Speaker 1 (31:13):
But no Candy Kong was mentioned. I was like, Oh,
then he's gotta be in here. Someone actually said the word.
Speaker 3 (31:19):
Also, someone said the word funky, and I was like,
they're teasing him.
Speaker 1 (31:22):
And then but I knew in my heart that I
was not going to see him. So here we are. Yeah,
it's bad. It's bad, but I got came back like
the game.
Speaker 3 (31:30):
Was really good. Does that say shit you at all?
Speaker 1 (31:32):
I mean it helps a little bit, just a little terrorism,
just a tiny bit.
Speaker 6 (31:37):
One.
Speaker 4 (31:38):
Let's see here now wait, let's that's about a billboard.
Poke quick help us if you can. Nathan Maloney says,
how Frontload is twenty twenty six is gonna be with
GTA six probably in May. Can we see big games
launching the first few months of the year to get
ahead of GTA, like Double seven, First Light in Marvel tokon, Thanks.
Speaker 2 (31:57):
Yeah, I don't.
Speaker 1 (31:58):
I don't know, because think about it the other way, right,
if you come out Let's say it does come out
in May, which I'm skeptical of, like I think it's
gonna slip to the holiday actually, but whatever, If it
comes out in May and your game comes out in
October November, well that means people had been buying PlayStation
fives to be able to play Grand Theft Auto six
(32:19):
all year, and it's probably gonna have a big bump,
and people are going to be excited for their new
for their new hardware. So maybe some games actually end
up popping more toward the holiday of next year. But
I don't know. There's no there's no perfect time to
do any of this. If a game is ready, Yeah,
you're right, they'll try to get it out well ahead,
well ahead of Grand Theft Auto.
Speaker 2 (32:38):
So in that first three month period.
Speaker 1 (32:39):
I think January and February and March, which have been
getting more busy than the than they have been in
the past, will be even busier next year. I think
you're right.
Speaker 3 (32:50):
I have a funky Kung theory.
Speaker 6 (32:52):
Now.
Speaker 4 (32:52):
Remember how they added Luigi Tomorrow Odyssey later and in
a lame balloon mode.
Speaker 3 (32:57):
That Yeah, that's that'll be funky Kong in this game.
Speaker 1 (33:01):
Okay, I will hold off on any crimes until at
least given the tendan some time to do one major update.
Speaker 3 (33:07):
There you go.
Speaker 4 (33:09):
Dachi says they added pins to Fortnite this week, which
mega activated my nostalgia. What would be the number one
nostalgia activating character for you? Try to say, my kid
my show as a kid was definitely The Turtles, which
one like the Turtles never went away, so it's almost
hard to be nostalgic for it.
Speaker 3 (33:28):
Yeah, truth very specifically that eighty seven vers in the show. Maybe.
Oh so they already added the turtles in.
Speaker 4 (33:35):
It's like, gosh, I'm trying to think of what could
they add in that would be super.
Speaker 3 (33:39):
Nostalgia if they've done all that shit. Yeah, put fred
Winstone in. There's the gun. I'll get in a little nostalgic.
Speaker 2 (33:45):
There you go.
Speaker 1 (33:46):
Yeah, start getting to like Hanna Barbera era cartoons. And
then that Looney Tunes Daffy Duck with a machine gun that, Yeah,
there you go.
Speaker 3 (33:55):
I would accept that. Or yeah, the let's see what.
Speaker 2 (34:00):
The sports friends, the sports stars?
Speaker 3 (34:02):
What was that?
Speaker 1 (34:02):
That was Bo Jackson, Wayne Gretzky and was it Michael Jordan?
Speaker 3 (34:07):
I got it?
Speaker 4 (34:07):
Yeah, I want the Burger King kids club kids in there.
Then I'll be nostalgic.
Speaker 3 (34:11):
Perfect.
Speaker 1 (34:11):
Yeah, give me Grimace, Grimace somehow holding a weapon.
Speaker 3 (34:15):
That's a McDonald's, you asshole. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (34:18):
Yeah, I'm saying separately, we're gonna I'm saying that I
want Grimace more than I want those dumb kids with
their stupid FU advisors.
Speaker 4 (34:27):
I want to be I love visors, and I'm gonna
be Wheels. I'm gonna shoot Grimace and his fucking perfect.
Speaker 3 (34:48):
Is that? What's that your active terrorism? Maybe they get
my out?
Speaker 5 (34:56):
Wow?
Speaker 3 (34:58):
Wow?
Speaker 2 (34:59):
Sorry mean it.
Speaker 3 (35:03):
I can't believe you did that. I know I'm bad.
Speaker 4 (35:07):
That's a problem. Next up from Big Fresh thirty seven.
Pretty excited to hear at the end of the bunk
ass that my nagging for you to play Sunderfolk plays
off tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (35:17):
About that, Uh, I don't know.
Speaker 4 (35:21):
We have actually talked about this, but Day suggested it
we might pivot to a battlefield instead.
Speaker 1 (35:26):
Well, I'm gonna play some battlefield as well, like that, Like, yes,
I got that on the schedule.
Speaker 3 (35:30):
We could do that instead of Mafia. But yes, we'll see,
we'll figure it out. Yep.
Speaker 4 (35:37):
The next up one is we're gonna play Sunderfolk at
some point. We probably are just playing it tomorrow, but
I want to play it.
Speaker 3 (35:42):
We're gonna play it. Yeah, we're gonna make it out.
And yeah, thank you for staying on top of that.
Speaker 1 (35:46):
I was like, cool, if we figure out exactly what
that game was, it seems very neat lex.
Speaker 4 (35:51):
Letty says Rofe. Thanks for the cursed parentheses positive content.
Speaker 3 (35:54):
You're welcome. Let's hope you have a better day tomorrow.
You hang in there.
Speaker 4 (36:00):
Fust Man Dance says, okay, hear me out. Disney's Gargoyles
souls like, Oh, that'd be good, I guess, says before
people love Gargoles.
Speaker 3 (36:07):
I somehow kind of missed that. I need to go. Yeah,
I don't know if I can go back. No, I don't.
I was gonna say, I don't think you need to
go back. But what you.
Speaker 1 (36:15):
Probably could do is like watch a very like warm
recap by someone on YouTube, right, someone being like, here's
why it was cool, and here's all the awesome Star.
Speaker 2 (36:25):
Trek people that were in it.
Speaker 1 (36:26):
I think you would appreciate it from from that perspective,
I think I could probably go back and enjoy it.
Speaker 2 (36:32):
But I really like Gargoles Gargoyles at the time.
Speaker 4 (36:35):
If I didn't know, Pooky says that in the quote
unquote final level. But donkey Kong Bananza, there's a big
billboard for Funky's flights.
Speaker 3 (36:44):
Is this enough?
Speaker 2 (36:48):
I don't. I didn't see it.
Speaker 3 (36:49):
I didn't see that either.
Speaker 2 (36:51):
Oh, let me go.
Speaker 3 (36:51):
I'll go check it out and I'll let everyone know
if it's gonna satiate my creative We're safe.
Speaker 2 (36:56):
Yeah, if you ever run safe? Yeah exactly.
Speaker 4 (37:00):
The Andrew says, yans make it to a w last
night in Cleveland. Good show first off, You're saying yin's
and then asking about Cleveland.
Speaker 3 (37:09):
That's suspicious, you pittsburgher. You yeah, we know where you're from.
Speaker 4 (37:13):
Yeah, No, I don't know, Yeah I have. I had
no idea, honestly, I probably not. It's just been so
busy lately.
Speaker 3 (37:22):
Too busy. I drive to Cleveland is a bit much
at the moment.
Speaker 2 (37:25):
Yep, yeah, even for me. That's right there. Uh yeah,
too busy right now.
Speaker 1 (37:29):
So no, it didn't get didn't get out there, although
next time they're in town, I probably will go.
Speaker 2 (37:33):
I'm digging some aw right now.
Speaker 3 (37:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (37:35):
Yeah, it w's very good. I hope we get a
pay per view around here sometime.
Speaker 3 (37:40):
That'd be great. Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (37:42):
For a while there, like I was going to every
time they were in Cleveland and Pittsburgh, and they came
to Cleveland Pittsburgh a lots. I almost overloaded myself. Like
one time they were in Pittsburgh two days in a
row and I went, so yeah, I got a whole
ton of aw in. It's been a little bit since
I've been to a show I'd like to again. Next
up is Zombie Pouring pitt My record was a good
bike glam Blite game. Also, does Jeff even have enough
(38:05):
space for the dinosaur costume in the microphone with Pingos game?
Speaker 3 (38:09):
Yeah you might. Well, the microphone will be fine. You
have that thing there.
Speaker 4 (38:11):
You might need to make sure you get like the
special earbuds for this one.
Speaker 3 (38:15):
You have the hat? Do I have a hat? I
think it had a hat on the costume also didn't.
Speaker 2 (38:21):
Yeah, back versus could just be wearing a hat, right.
Speaker 4 (38:24):
Well, if it doesn't have a hat, you know, ye
a hat.
Speaker 2 (38:27):
You know what it does say, dinosaur costume?
Speaker 3 (38:29):
You know what?
Speaker 2 (38:29):
The guy's wearing a hat. I think it's probably got
a hat.
Speaker 3 (38:32):
Yeah, I think you're gonna be wearing a cool hat.
Speaker 1 (38:34):
Okay, I'm gonna be wearing a hat. Yeah, so I
get I'll get some earbuds in there. Uh yeah, we'll
figure it out. I'll make it work.
Speaker 3 (38:39):
I might have to.
Speaker 2 (38:40):
I'm gonna be standing up anyhow, I think so. We'll see.
It's gonna be a fun one.
Speaker 4 (38:46):
Not This story says can Dead Grandmother game win a
Giant Bond game of your category?
Speaker 3 (38:51):
Apparently that game came out twenty twenty two. Yeah, it's uh, listen,
we'll find a way too alward. That game with something.
Speaker 4 (38:59):
All right, we'll find a way, says Jeff Davis. Pagatan
hobb On eat a cocoa?
Speaker 3 (39:08):
How y'all? Uh coco? Is that X movie? Soy y'all doing? Yes?
A one from before was a Superman reference spoiler though,
A one A one A one A one A one a.
Speaker 2 (39:19):
One Yeah, uh you know sure? Uh huh, yes, I.
Speaker 3 (39:26):
Said, okay, steak sauce. I think I like get more
than HP. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (39:30):
It's also one of my favorite paper sizes, like all
paper sizes.
Speaker 2 (39:35):
A one's up there.
Speaker 3 (39:36):
Yeah, it's my favorite cell in a spreadsheet. It's the
first one.
Speaker 1 (39:39):
Yeah, that's first one. It's just the easiest one to
start with. I use it probably most frequently.
Speaker 5 (39:44):
First A season dram Ball Fighters A one.
Speaker 2 (39:47):
I did watch Superman, Mike wat.
Speaker 3 (39:51):
I also don't understand the reference. Actually immediately forgot something
about what I mean.
Speaker 1 (39:57):
Yeah, I mean, like I know that A one is
U the punch. It's the punch punch, punch punch, Like he's.
Speaker 4 (40:03):
Right, that's oh, I forgot. I forgot about that. I
kind of thought, I'll be honest, like Superman, I thought
that was kind of stupid. They look Super's like naming
the names of the moves that are like is it's.
Speaker 3 (40:14):
Like those what move to use it? Yes, I'm all
themver coded okay.
Speaker 1 (40:17):
Right, the exdecimal system or something. It's like, yeah, okay,
I mean like whatever. I liked that movie Goofy comic.
It's Goofy exactly, and I like that James gun does
like use the goofiest comic book stuff.
Speaker 3 (40:31):
Be You're right.
Speaker 2 (40:31):
I was kind of with you on that.
Speaker 3 (40:32):
One little bit good movie. Really, I really enjoyed it,
thought was I liked it a lot. I liked it
a time. Definitely.
Speaker 4 (40:38):
Simon is back. My brother was obsessed with Jurassic Parks,
so we did have this game. Talking about Trespasser seems
like a perfect Jeff game. Just take a lot of
deep breaths while playing.
Speaker 3 (40:48):
In Man what is like?
Speaker 1 (40:51):
I so Piston Hondi from Dan's community has helped me
figure out how to get this game running.
Speaker 2 (40:55):
I did get it running, so we're good. It's confirmed
to work.
Speaker 1 (41:00):
He's like mentioning, like, yeah, you might run into an
issue where it's like at one point I had to
try to throw an AK forty seven onto a switch
for ra half an hour because I moved some boxes.
I wasn't supposed to move and it broke the game,
and I couldn't move on.
Speaker 2 (41:12):
I'm like, what the fuck is this thing?
Speaker 3 (41:15):
Yeah, I'm worried.
Speaker 4 (41:17):
I think in some ways this game was trying to
be Half Life two before Half Life two.
Speaker 1 (41:22):
Yes, it seems like it was. I did not realize
it was this ambitious, So I'm kind of excited but
also deeply concerned.
Speaker 4 (41:31):
Next up is from David Petal, just be bonanza. I
already had the big things spoiled, but was still blown
away by everything happening on screen. How does EPD Tokyo
keep doing it? I think they're very good, and they're
given the resources, time, money, and personnel that they need. Obviously,
(41:52):
lots of talented people there who have been there and
stay there for a long time.
Speaker 3 (41:55):
I think that helps a lot.
Speaker 4 (41:58):
But yeah, I think mostly just incredibly talented over there.
Speaker 2 (42:02):
Yeah, and it does.
Speaker 1 (42:04):
You know, the guy the director of this game did
come from Sonic h And there is a part of it,
like the way that it like treats Donkey Kong's heritage
that feels a little about a little bit, the way
like Sonic treats its past. It's like, no, this is
important we're bringing back this stuff and we really like it.
But they treat Donkey Kong's history as actually very cool
and it made me be like, oh, this is fantastic.
(42:24):
So yeah, just a really cool thing to see.
Speaker 2 (42:27):
Good game.
Speaker 4 (42:29):
Yeah, what did he I know you said that before
he worked on Sonic but like they just like work
on like a Sonic adventureport or something.
Speaker 3 (42:35):
What did he do?
Speaker 1 (42:37):
I mean, I don't know he comes from he Yeah,
maybe he did just work on a Sonic Adventureport. I
don't know, but he's like he previously worked that. He
only joined Nintendo to work on this game, so he's
been working on other stuff for a very long time.
Speaker 3 (42:49):
Cool.
Speaker 4 (42:52):
Next up is from Austin violence Castle Cross has just
got new DLC. Do you think of any other games
with DC that kot seventy more years after the initial
launch of the game. Penis like you, Austin, I mean, yeah,
go ahead.
Speaker 1 (43:05):
Hex Heretic just got just got new new campaigns today
after thirty years, forty years almost Yeah.
Speaker 4 (43:13):
Yeah, these all these old like A games, especially when
Night Dive works on them.
Speaker 3 (43:17):
They do that.
Speaker 4 (43:18):
John Romeril is constantly making new map packs for like
Doom two and stuff.
Speaker 3 (43:21):
Like that. So that's super cool.
Speaker 4 (43:23):
It's like a little different because like do map packs
almost always work? They're episodic, right, so always like almost
a new game in a lot of ways.
Speaker 1 (43:31):
Right, Yeah, definitely, but this is cool. I do want
to play the Castle Crashers DLC. It's definitely something that's like,
had we had more time this week, we might have
been doing that this week.
Speaker 4 (43:40):
I'm a little surprised you just haven't made a Castle
Crashers two, right, I mean, you know, it's like that.
They made a lot of games after that, and I'm
sure some of them are fine, but I just never
particularly cared about any of them afterward.
Speaker 3 (43:55):
Yep.
Speaker 4 (43:56):
Next up is from Simon again. Be gause Simon, which
my characters should teach uh sex ed class.
Speaker 1 (44:04):
Mumm toad to It would be good.
Speaker 2 (44:08):
Toad looks like a penis.
Speaker 4 (44:10):
Toad looks like a penis, and it'd be funny.
Speaker 5 (44:14):
Is it?
Speaker 4 (44:15):
Tubes Zombie porn says y'all going to play that Battle
Royale version of that choa like game you played Wednesday?
Shaun steam intrigued by French Canadian Jans other game. Yeah,
what what do they possibly mean by the Battle Royale edition?
Speaker 3 (44:34):
There's no way it's a real Battle Royale. But of
course not.
Speaker 1 (44:38):
There are like five dollars skins, so I'm probably gonna
have to check out some of that and buy some
of those and see what it looks like.
Speaker 4 (44:45):
So yeah, uh Simon back again. It is a series
where you play fast food games. Possible Friday Fast Food Fiesta,
Pitch an Arby's game. Please do you have a W?
The US big deal here used to I think they
closed most of them. We had one local here that
I used to love. Loved the A and W.
Speaker 3 (45:05):
Good cheese curds.
Speaker 4 (45:06):
These did do car shows there constantly too, People always
doing car shows at the A and W.
Speaker 1 (45:12):
I have not been to an A and W in
one month. We were there exactly a month ago. When
we went to Michigan. There was an ANW sit down restaurant.
The Anw's that I had in Michigan as a kid
were like fast food restaurants.
Speaker 3 (45:25):
It was weird.
Speaker 1 (45:26):
And yes, okay, so they're the one. The one in
Michigan was a sit down restaurant and apparently apparently that's
what they're like in Canada. I think, yes, and so
that's why they're a big deal. Yes, it was fantastic.
We all really had a good time there. The kids
got like little mini root beer mugs to go along with,
like as a toy, and we started pouring beer in
(45:47):
for them and their forum.
Speaker 2 (45:48):
It's uh, it's really good. I liked it quite a bit.
Speaker 4 (45:51):
Yeah, I mean, I don't know if we did a
whole fast food show. It could just be part of
license to throw if we ever really do that.
Speaker 3 (45:58):
There. There are a lot of those that Treasure made.
Speaker 4 (46:00):
One Treasure made a surprisingly good maybe not that surprising,
it's treasure, but they made a good Ronald McDonald game
for the Sega Genesis.
Speaker 3 (46:08):
Yep, that game's fantastic.
Speaker 4 (46:09):
Actually, yep, Big Fresh thirty seven. No controlling of individual
dinosaurs a fortnite, but later the season you can control
the Megazord just with Godzilla, Doctor Doom, Superman.
Speaker 3 (46:20):
That's neat. I guess that makes sense. It's not.
Speaker 4 (46:22):
I don't know how you would have five players come together,
especially when the Backs team size is what three or
four in that game.
Speaker 3 (46:28):
So yeah, sure, Megazord, that's fine. Yeah, I'll take it.
Speaker 4 (46:33):
Then Drips Malone say, a start of the Altars having
a good time, what Pivotal or Mundai moment in your
life would create a branching alternative version of yourself, and
what sort of piece of shit.
Speaker 3 (46:43):
Would he be? Our type peeness, I don't know.
Speaker 4 (46:49):
Probably if Jeff decided not to leak Battle of five
or whatever it was the first time.
Speaker 3 (46:55):
I don't know what that first one was, that.
Speaker 4 (46:58):
Show yeah, yeah, and then we're probably both living on
the street together or something.
Speaker 3 (47:05):
Mm hmmm. In the ditch, the thunder Wolf, the thunder
wolf in there, the word thunder is written in there
in some way without Yeah, the thunder Wolf, the uncharted
Wolf says just scrab street fight or six for twenty
three bucks at best spy, I'm pretty bad at non
(47:27):
smash finding game, So any tips on how to get
used to the controls?
Speaker 4 (47:33):
I mean, you'll pick a rope, pick a show character,
something relatively simple, like over you or a Ken I think,
I don't know immediately trying to beat bad advice. All right,
you got you take it.
Speaker 6 (47:44):
Modern use modern controls. They're literally made for smash.
Speaker 5 (47:49):
Use that and pick whatever character you think is the coolest,
because you're gonna get your big rast bit regardless of
what you're playing for the like couple, like the enough
hours of the game, so she'll speak whatever you think
is the coolest, because that's why you're gonna like to play.
And eventually you're gonna get good enough for like you're
gonna get some w So go look on your Journey Warrior.
Speaker 3 (48:11):
Go ahead by Cammy, Go Go go.
Speaker 5 (48:14):
Yeah bye by the gooner six.
Speaker 4 (48:17):
Go buy six hundred fighter coins because the other option
is three hundred in the costume costs three.
Speaker 5 (48:22):
Ten fucking insane motherfucker so much.
Speaker 3 (48:25):
You know it's right as well? Just how blakeant it is,
isn't it sucks? It's the most just incredible. We like,
fuck you, what are you gonna do about it? Thing possible?
Speaker 6 (48:37):
Oh yeah, it's funny. I got a I got the
bikini pack in Tech in a last night for five bucks.
Speaker 3 (48:45):
Boy.
Speaker 6 (48:46):
They are dying for people to come back to Tech
and huh.
Speaker 3 (48:49):
Was like, we'll play the bikini card. Our new character
Toms with a bikini. To start.
Speaker 2 (48:54):
Our new character is a bikini on legs.
Speaker 3 (48:56):
She just is one. Her name is Bikini. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (49:02):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (49:03):
Next up is.
Speaker 4 (49:07):
From well thank you lass as for a gift membership
to uh oh yeah, thank you.
Speaker 3 (49:12):
I appreciate that.
Speaker 4 (49:13):
Then tuber says, I don't know how to explain this,
but Lucas saying, so that's what ribs are, and pit
my ride fields and races.
Speaker 3 (49:22):
Look what the Lucas Jeff, Oh no, leave Lucas alone.
He's perfect the way he is.
Speaker 4 (49:28):
Yeah, a big fresh story seven, says Seamus black Lee,
father Xbox directed Drastic Park Trespasser. He tells the breasting
stories about it in a bunch of interviews.
Speaker 1 (49:39):
Mm hmmm, I'm sure I shout out to Depossbox for
the Gifted sub as well.
Speaker 4 (49:43):
I hope we hear about that Drastic Park game that
Savers making against you, and I hope that's not vaporware.
Speaker 3 (49:48):
That thing it looked neat.
Speaker 2 (49:49):
Yeah, that thing looked really cool.
Speaker 1 (49:51):
And I mean they've even deliverance really solid games, so
I hope it's just like right in that same zone
of like a good like lower eighties on Open Critic.
Speaker 3 (49:59):
That would be great.
Speaker 4 (50:01):
All right, So there it is. Thank you for super
chats so far, everybody. If you want to send it anymore,
we will read them before the end of the show.
Speaker 2 (50:07):
Thank you again, Thank you everybody.
Speaker 1 (50:10):
Sorry, I was just going to get the Year three
bikini things on my street Fighter all right, I got
it too. Everybody see not above it. Okay, thanks for
reading the super chats. Mike, we're gonna take another break.
We have a game to play after this, so we're
gonna take that break. Get set up, be right back
after this. All right, let's get back into it.
Speaker 3 (50:32):
It's decides me and Mike are going to play a game,
and to do that we've enlisted some help.
Speaker 2 (50:37):
So take it away.
Speaker 6 (50:40):
Hi, it's me Sean. What's up there?
Speaker 3 (50:42):
We are?
Speaker 6 (50:44):
We were playing Closest to mess Pin Volume twenty five.
Bob has been busy for a while, so we haven't
done this for a bit, but he found some time
and we're doing another one. So this should be Thank
you boy, Thank you, Thank you Bob. Also, before I forget,
just this came to mind, Mike, did did you guys
talk about what you originally titled this stream by this episode?
(51:05):
By a chance?
Speaker 3 (51:06):
This episode?
Speaker 6 (51:08):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (51:09):
What did I call it? Contra band is Dead?
Speaker 6 (51:12):
Originally it was in all caps Concord is dead?
Speaker 3 (51:23):
Another look because.
Speaker 4 (51:26):
With c with d Earlier earlier today, I did a
social post for games Beat on Giant Bombs facebook.
Speaker 3 (51:34):
Page, So I'm just fucking close enough.
Speaker 4 (51:37):
It's not good enough, it turns out.
Speaker 6 (51:40):
Let's see if you'll be close enough here. Let me
run you through the rules of Closest to the messy Pin.
Since it's been a while, boys, every round you're going
to be given a certified retro game ten years ago
or more. Your goal is to predict the game's metacritics score.
We use a closest to the Pin scoring system, which
means that the score difference between you guess and the
(52:01):
correct answer will be tallied up at the end of
each round, and at the end of the game, the
lowest total score wins golf roles. If you guess the
exact number, you will deduct five points from your total
score and it uh Bob has been here rounds two
through five. I think we have a double decker one tonight,
so I think it's rounds two through ten is what's
(52:21):
gonna be. The leader has to go first. That's a
big rule here. No more swapping back and forth as
to who guesses. The leader always has to go first.
So that way, you know, you guys like the prices
ride it whatever. That's fine. We're not gonna audience. We're
not gonna get weird about that. But playing into that.
That means that the leader has to go first, and uh,
(52:42):
typically the previous champion goes first.
Speaker 3 (52:44):
Round one.
Speaker 6 (52:45):
I don't remember who the hell that was. It's been
like eight year since we did one of these. So yeah,
I just flipped. I flipped a coin before the game started,
and Jeff is gonna go first.
Speaker 3 (52:55):
All right, that's good. Yeah, I think that's good for you.
That's good.
Speaker 6 (52:58):
Yeah, first game, Jeff. What do you think Madden NFL
eight has, So you're guessing for the Yes.
Speaker 3 (53:08):
And Madden games, it's gonna be incredible.
Speaker 6 (53:13):
Specifically the Xbox three sixty version, because you know they
do score differently. She was released August fourteenth, two thousand
and seven. You have forty six critic reviews making this score.
Speaker 1 (53:24):
Okay, let's see and I can use a phone a
friend just yet.
Speaker 3 (53:29):
All right, let's see here Madden NFL.
Speaker 1 (53:33):
Oh wait, let me think about like where things would
have been with Madden at that time. I'm gonna say
that that is a seventy nine.
Speaker 4 (53:44):
Okay, I wonder is this the year or Cleveland Brown
was on the cover. It was like a round hire
that might have been like eleven. Ah, it would be
funny if it's all Cleveland themed, so it's we're a
little bit into the three sixty now. I know, like
the first one maybe two was a little rough with
the transition. It always is, but I bet at this
point people were happier. I want to go more like
(54:05):
an eighty two for this one.
Speaker 6 (54:08):
Eighty two yep, okay, and Madden O eight has an
eighty five. Wow, that's a really good little way of that. Okay,
a little bit better there, all right, So that means
that Mike being in the lead, you will go first.
Game number two is Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, the
(54:30):
PS two version specifically, that came out October twenty six,
two thousand and four. Eighty critics reviews probably pretty high.
Speaker 3 (54:39):
Uh, people like this game a lot.
Speaker 4 (54:41):
I think reviewers were very impressed with just the size
of it and some of the more RPG mechanics that.
Speaker 3 (54:46):
They added to it. Probably was like just how high
did it go?
Speaker 4 (54:49):
Because I don't think it was like all time kindess
like what pretty hi probably for saying Andreas, I'll say
in ninety three, ooh, alright.
Speaker 2 (54:58):
Yeah, it's I think I agree that it's got to
be in that range.
Speaker 3 (55:01):
I think ninety three is.
Speaker 1 (55:02):
A good guess. Let's see, this feels like one that
could be higher. I'm going to go ninety four to.
Speaker 3 (55:11):
Be gotcha, and Gt.
Speaker 6 (55:14):
S Andreas has ninety five.
Speaker 2 (55:19):
Yeah close, yeah, yeah down it close?
Speaker 6 (55:23):
All right, Mike, uh, you know, not as much of
a lead. No, five to seven, Mike's still going. First
game number three, Guitar Hero World Tour, the Xbox three
sixty version came out October twenty six, two thousand and eight.
Sixty seven critic reviews.
Speaker 3 (55:40):
Huh, okay. I think there's a little bit of fatigue
with the series at this point, and.
Speaker 4 (55:46):
I think everyone clearly liked rock Band more than this
at this point.
Speaker 3 (55:50):
Also, I still think it probably did. Okay. I don't know.
Mike got hit a bit.
Speaker 4 (55:55):
I want to say in eighty, I'm will worry that's high.
Speaker 3 (55:58):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (55:58):
I think I think and I was, yeah, we'll tour. Wait,
is this like the one that was like rock band,
not on tour?
Speaker 3 (56:06):
On tour? Was the poorbable one. Let's go with an
eighty eighty. We'll say eighty Okay, Yeah, I'm like, I'm awesome.
Speaker 2 (56:12):
I think this one was the one that was like
rock band.
Speaker 6 (56:15):
If you're both unsure. Yes, this is the first one
that was like rock Band.
Speaker 2 (56:19):
Yeah, I thought, I thought people like this a lot.
Speaker 1 (56:22):
I think critics liked it, but I could be mis misremembering.
But I'm gonna go with the gut there, and I'm
not gonna go crazy. I'm gonna go within eighty two
to try to catch up to Mike here.
Speaker 6 (56:32):
Okay, gotcha. I will say I like this one quite
a bit, but I'm curious to see what the critics think.
And they thought it was worth so.
Speaker 3 (56:41):
Still pretty good. I remember.
Speaker 1 (56:42):
I remember hearing podcasts people like really like this, and
then rock Band continued to catch on.
Speaker 6 (56:47):
All right, well you guys have tied it up here.
I'm gonna say.
Speaker 1 (56:52):
I probably go first now since uh yeah yeah the
last couple of times.
Speaker 6 (56:56):
Yeah yeah, so Mike will wait, Yeah, you will go first,
that's right, because first yeah, yeah, you're right, game number.
Speaker 1 (57:04):
Four and then we'll go back and forth, right yeah,
okay yeah.
Speaker 6 (57:08):
Revolution Presents Karaoke, Revolution Presents American Idol Encore. The PS
two version released February fifth, two thousand and eight, only
four count on four critic reviews.
Speaker 3 (57:21):
I think Mike should go first.
Speaker 1 (57:25):
Ah shit, carry a Revolution Presents of American I have
no idea seventy five, Mike.
Speaker 4 (57:37):
I think Ozzy Osbourne is the connecting tissues all these
games I come on probably worse than that. I'm going
to say a sixty final answer, final answer. Now, you
guys may have forgotten. Bob usually puts a stinker in here.
I can't wait for us to be like twenty five
presents American Idol Encore seventy six Okay, okay, not nearly
(58:03):
that bad, not nearly that bad close.
Speaker 2 (58:08):
The Revolution games were completely fine.
Speaker 1 (58:11):
I just I'm sure the American Idol shit could have
ruined it, but I don't know.
Speaker 3 (58:15):
Damn it.
Speaker 6 (58:17):
That was very surprising, all right, shi It's four critic reviews.
It was it must have been. What's the math there? Like,
I'll recover from seventy to seventy five, ladies.
Speaker 3 (58:27):
Oh, there's plenty a chance. Rough. This is rough.
Speaker 2 (58:29):
How many games are we doing?
Speaker 3 (58:30):
Total?
Speaker 2 (58:30):
Do you know?
Speaker 6 (58:31):
Sean penn tonight is ten? This is basically just make
attach to what you said. It was pen Shaw, Brownie
points from Mike. They're not worse ship, but brownie points.
Speaker 1 (58:40):
And by and I said, give Hi an extra point,
and that would actually be bad for him a scar.
Speaker 6 (58:46):
Oh no, I heard you. You're very smart, seff over
thank you. Game number five is Brutal Legend. The Xbox
three sixty version released October thirteenth, two thousand and nine.
This one has eighty eight Craig reviews to work with.
I believe Mike Manatti is raising his hand for a.
Speaker 4 (59:04):
Question do I get Do I get any points for
guessing the connecting tissue between the game so early?
Speaker 6 (59:11):
Also brownie points, which, as I mentioned, art worth shit.
Speaker 3 (59:14):
But you know what, so many of those I'll thank
him for something you you wait.
Speaker 6 (59:17):
Exactly, That's right, That's right. You're doing good in my
eyes tonight, Mike. If you're not doing so good on
the score award, Jeff, what do you think Brule Legend got? I?
Speaker 1 (59:25):
I think I remember this is being kind of mixed
in terms of the critical reception, but I'm not sure
like how hard it got ding. I'm gonna go with
an eighty Okay.
Speaker 3 (59:40):
Yeah, I think it was somevery lowlies.
Speaker 4 (59:41):
I think a lot of people were thrown off and
not into the the RTS.
Speaker 3 (59:45):
Elements of the game. That's so bad.
Speaker 4 (59:48):
There's still a lot of good double fine goodwill here.
I think it's more like an eighty two.
Speaker 2 (59:53):
Yeah, that's that's.
Speaker 6 (59:54):
Possible, okay, And in reality bru and got.
Speaker 3 (01:00:02):
Eighty two.
Speaker 6 (01:00:03):
Well, Mikey, don't catche closing the gap a little bit,
all right, Mike's twenty one to Jeff's thirteen here at halftime,
going into part two of our game tonight. Game number
six is Legends of Wrestling. This is a PS two
game that released December third, two thousand and one. Twenty
(01:00:26):
four critic reviews. Still, Jeff, you're going first.
Speaker 1 (01:00:30):
Yeah, I'm gonna go with like a seventy seven that
these wrestling games always go right around there.
Speaker 4 (01:00:35):
I think, all right, Mikey, they made a second one
of these. I don't people don't like them very much.
I guess I gotta hope it did a little bit
worse than this to catch up a little like I
don't know if it was so bads in the sixties.
I'll say a seventy a seventy for Legends of Wrestling.
Speaker 3 (01:00:52):
I don't think.
Speaker 6 (01:00:53):
It's okay, Okay, Well, Legends of Wrestling got share going tonight.
Speaker 1 (01:01:03):
There's your big bad and fifty five for Legends of Wrestling.
I my I had two digits in my member the same.
That's fifty five seventy seven.
Speaker 3 (01:01:11):
That's something. Sorry, there's something.
Speaker 6 (01:01:15):
Wow, suddenly the gap has closed. Uh, you're both doing
hilariously poorly. But Mike is at thirty six, Jeff is
at thirty five. Jeff still thirty five.
Speaker 3 (01:01:25):
Is fine? Oh.
Speaker 6 (01:01:28):
Game number seven is w w E Legends of WrestleMania,
the Xbox three sixty version, released March twenty fourth, two
thousand and nine. Forty three critic reviews.
Speaker 1 (01:01:41):
Okay, I know, so there's that one like Legends it
was it was w w WWE All Stars. That one's okay.
I don't think any of these other ones were actually okay.
So I'm I'm gonna go low on this one and
hope for the best. I'm gonna say sixty five.
Speaker 4 (01:02:02):
Yeah, so All Stars is pretty well, like, especially now,
especially after the fact. I just want to remember kind
of being a proto All Stars. If I'm remembering that,
I remember kind of having some fun with this game.
I don't know what didn reviews. I don't think it's
it's sixty five bad. I think it's probably more than
in the seventies. I think I'm gonna say a seventy
seventy two.
Speaker 6 (01:02:24):
Two okay ww Legends of WrestleMania got seventy one.
Speaker 3 (01:02:32):
Wow. Well right, yeah, okayen.
Speaker 6 (01:02:38):
Yeah, you have taken the lead thirty seven to forty one.
By the way, just randomly, speaking of w W All Stars,
that's the game that put out a fight stick for
some reason for a wrestling game. It was like crazy,
it was very cheap. So I wonder if may Christian
would remember this. They like that was the stick that
everybody modded to just put the good arcade parts and
(01:02:59):
so good fight all that.
Speaker 3 (01:03:01):
Of course, that's that's incredible.
Speaker 5 (01:03:02):
I think Garsman has one and he showed anyone. OK
that's all right, Yeah, streams pretty sure. I saw that.
Speaker 3 (01:03:09):
Yeah, all right.
Speaker 6 (01:03:11):
Game number eight TNA Impact crossed the line. This is
the PlayStation portable version June twenty first, twenty ten, only
six critic reviews. This could go any which direction.
Speaker 4 (01:03:28):
Mike was, Yeah, because the three sixty version, which was
like the lead platform, didn't even do that well from
what I remember, I don't think did like super terribly.
But the ps P version of the game, I'm gonna
say that probably got like that's probably six reviews.
Speaker 3 (01:03:44):
I'm gonna say it's like a fifty eight.
Speaker 1 (01:03:48):
Yeah, I'll try to catch up again here and I'll
go I'm gonna go even lower.
Speaker 2 (01:03:53):
I'm gonna go with a fifty.
Speaker 3 (01:03:57):
Fifty. Got it.
Speaker 6 (01:03:59):
The PSP version of TNA Impact Cross the Line got
a fifty nail the Jeff.
Speaker 2 (01:04:08):
Right on the five off there, Yeah, there we go.
Money in the bank. I'll cash it in right now,
thank you.
Speaker 3 (01:04:16):
Wow, very nice.
Speaker 6 (01:04:18):
I like I like the drama tonight.
Speaker 1 (01:04:21):
This is before there's still two games left. And if
they're stinkers, that those stinkers are the real problem here.
Speaker 3 (01:04:28):
It's hard.
Speaker 1 (01:04:28):
You could be so far off, like it's a game you.
I think that's generally pretty good. It's so easy go
seventies eighties These ones are so tough.
Speaker 3 (01:04:36):
Right for me for this one? Yeah, wow, you got that.
Speaker 4 (01:04:41):
That's one of the most impressive getting right on the
button ones I've ever seen.
Speaker 3 (01:04:45):
Absolutely good. Very nice. Uh.
Speaker 6 (01:04:47):
That means that Mike is saying at forty five, Jeff
is saying at thirty six, going to game nine w
W E Crush Hour were going with the GameCube version.
March teenth, two thousand and three, fourteen Craig reviews Jeff.
Speaker 2 (01:05:04):
This is their u their uh sort of twisted metal like?
Is that what it is?
Speaker 3 (01:05:10):
Crush Hour? You don't get how I've never even heard
of this. You don't get help. I guess I'm.
Speaker 6 (01:05:17):
Gonna get up and say afterwards, but yeah, I'm curious.
I'm gonna tell you, Oh, do.
Speaker 2 (01:05:22):
You remember this?
Speaker 1 (01:05:23):
I remember people thinking this game was bad, and so
I never had any interest in it. So, like God,
the bad games could be so tough. I'm gonna go
with a fifty eight.
Speaker 3 (01:05:38):
Okay, So, yes, this is their twisted metal like? Uh
that game? Uh, I can see it.
Speaker 4 (01:05:44):
I believe that Vicific band owns every TV station now,
so he has to create endless content.
Speaker 3 (01:05:48):
So you just put all the wrestlers.
Speaker 4 (01:05:50):
Including your favorite stars like Chris ben Wah and car
combat vehicles and have them kill each other.
Speaker 3 (01:05:57):
It's not a super well like believe I had a
super well like liked game.
Speaker 4 (01:06:02):
I don't know if it was like insanely paned. I
bet more like the sixties. I'm gonna say sixty four
for w W Crush Hour.
Speaker 6 (01:06:12):
It's sixty four there from Mike w W Crush Hour
on the game, you got fifty five and there you
know in that mid zone there. Uh huh, all right,
that means that Mike, uh, Mike gain too many points there.
This is gonna be tough to come back from here
(01:06:33):
to crush hour Mike's fifty four to Jeff story nine.
Speaker 2 (01:06:39):
It's fifteen points, right, that's not impossible to come back from.
Speaker 3 (01:06:42):
It's another game like.
Speaker 6 (01:06:44):
This where I can like, don't you mikey Bob has
he covered? Because if you didn't figure out the theme
of the second half here, Game number ten is Hulk
Hogan's main event, Dan Riker's favorite Xbox three sixty October eleventh,
twenty eleven. Four count on four critic reviews Jeff.
Speaker 2 (01:07:08):
Okay, okay, this is tough.
Speaker 1 (01:07:12):
My gut was like somewhere in the thirties, but it
could easily be like fifteen because this game is dog
shit bad. So I'm gonna like, I'm gonna lay it
up a little bit. I'm gonna go with like a
I'll go with a thirty, right right on the money,
right right on a thirty.
Speaker 6 (01:07:31):
Okay, this this sucks.
Speaker 4 (01:07:33):
It isn't give me a lot of room to maneuver
because it's like not ten, but I need a lot
of points.
Speaker 3 (01:07:39):
I don't even know.
Speaker 4 (01:07:40):
Honestly, I think it's probably like a twenty five. But
if that doesn't give me enough room to win if
it's a twenty five, so I have to like hope
if it's.
Speaker 2 (01:07:48):
It could be it could be a fifteen.
Speaker 3 (01:07:50):
It really could get exactly right. And Jeff is far
enough off. That's true.
Speaker 6 (01:07:56):
Yeah, at least like tie it pretty easily.
Speaker 4 (01:07:59):
For some reason, I think it's twenty two. Gonna say
it's okay, I'm just gonna try to get close.
Speaker 3 (01:08:03):
I can. I can't met a gamment. I'm gonna say
twenty two. I like it.
Speaker 6 (01:08:07):
This is gonna be an interesting one because if I recall, well,
these reviews should be Dan's, which he gave what a
two out of ten? Yeah, because I was forty k
all right, so let's see Hulk Hogan's main event is
at twenty six? What the fuck is going on on
(01:08:27):
my side there?
Speaker 3 (01:08:33):
Dude? Yeah? You lost twenty two?
Speaker 6 (01:08:36):
Right?
Speaker 3 (01:08:37):
I think I was so four off. We were was
between us.
Speaker 2 (01:08:41):
And you said like it felt like a twenty five,
like when you were wor could.
Speaker 3 (01:08:45):
You way through it? So you were right there? I
think I added idea.
Speaker 6 (01:08:49):
All right, Well, that does mean here at the end
Mike fifty eight, Jeff forty three, Jeff, congratulations you win tonight,
and of course rest in peace, Ozzy Osbourne, rest and
piss hal cocheah exactly.
Speaker 4 (01:09:03):
Remember remember how I remember how I got it's the
theme right? Oh, like I SA didn't realize it was
both Ozzie and Hogan. I thought, thank oh man, a
lot of these wrestling games must have used.
Speaker 1 (01:09:15):
Uh excellent, Sean, thank you so much for that. That
was fantastic. Bob, thank you so much for putting the
game together. I always love closest to the messy pin.
Although I usually don't well there, it was a time
where I did alright in these And then I think
you got went on a hot streak there, So.
Speaker 6 (01:09:29):
I think you guys feel feel about this game in
relation to your win streak.
Speaker 3 (01:09:35):
It's usually that's right, that sound that sounds like us.
Speaker 2 (01:09:39):
Yeah, you're probably awesome.
Speaker 6 (01:09:41):
Yeah I didn't say at the top, but if you
couldn't tell, this game may have been made like two
weeks ago, but do scheduling stuff.
Speaker 3 (01:09:46):
We just got to it this week. Hey are still relevant?
Speaker 1 (01:09:50):
Yeah, and then that was a lot of fun. So yeah,
thank you once again to Bob and Sean.
Speaker 3 (01:09:56):
Uh, and to everybody for listening.
Speaker 1 (01:09:58):
All right, let's do one more break. We'll come back,
talk about what we've been playing. Clean up the super chats,
get on out of here.
Speaker 3 (01:10:03):
We'll be right back. And we're back. Let's get into
it with Mike. What have you been playing? I beat
the Outer Wilds? Did it? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (01:10:18):
My punishment for being worse at twenty ashtroscare three plus
four than a Dan. It's a game I've been mean
to play for a very long time. Everyone has always
gone on about how great it is. It was voted
like number three when we did the giant bomb like
best Games of the Century thing. It's another twenty nineteen
game that I just completely messed up. Jeff, I'm so
(01:10:40):
sorry because you were probably so frustrated when we did
Games Beat Game of the Year twenty nineteen. Yeh, yeah,
Like it's like out second rows, like number ten out
of Wild's is it?
Speaker 3 (01:10:50):
Number?
Speaker 4 (01:10:50):
I think number one is fire them with three Houses,
which I like that game. I have since been catching
up on twenty nineteen games and it might not be
in the top five.
Speaker 2 (01:11:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:11:00):
We might.
Speaker 4 (01:11:01):
Once I play Control and uh maybe Discoleesium. We might
have to do another twenty nineteen Game of the Year.
Speaker 1 (01:11:08):
Actually, that's that would Actually, that's a fantastic idea.
Speaker 3 (01:11:11):
I would love that.
Speaker 1 (01:11:13):
I wonder if I can find my list for the
best games of twenty nineteen. I don't know if I can.
Speaker 3 (01:11:18):
Yeah, yeah, this game was super fun.
Speaker 4 (01:11:21):
It's just it really is just another one of these
first person puzzle games, a genre I've been thinking about
a lot lately because of mysts, and again, there's just
there's actually a lot of myss in there, especially in
the way that once you'd know what to do, you
can actually beat the game up pretty quickly. It's just
about figuring out what to do, all right. And it's
(01:11:41):
you know, it's not about exploring so that you get
new abilities or items. It's just getting knowledge. And you
have these tools that seem like they have limited uses,
like your little kind of camera, drone, even your flashlight
turns out to have more uses than you expect. All
that stuff, and just flying around on the spaceship and
landing on these planets. It does such an incredible job
(01:12:03):
of making the sore system feel big and like a
sore system, but actually making it relatively small enough that
you can do a lot of exploring and get a lot.
Speaker 3 (01:12:12):
Done in a twenty two minute period.
Speaker 4 (01:12:16):
Just yeah, and even just slowly figuring out what is
happening and understanding what's going on and kind of having
these revelations. So this is happening because of this, because
they thought that was gonna happen, but it didn't. But
now this is happening. So now that's happening. And that's
just putting all those pieces together. So satisfying, yep.
Speaker 1 (01:12:33):
And it's it's really cool to kind of see how
it all culminates.
Speaker 3 (01:12:37):
I got that.
Speaker 1 (01:12:37):
It was fun to watch you finished the game. A
lot of stuff that I did not remember. It's like, oh, yeah,
this happened, I remember why this is important and all
that's it's just a really special game. There are some
all time great moments of making revelations that I do
remember from that game that really stuck with me, and
they kind of like changed the context of like how
(01:12:59):
you understand things are happening in that world pretty drastically.
Speaker 3 (01:13:04):
And then you get that ending, and it's it's so special.
Speaker 1 (01:13:08):
So like like all the characters that you've been coming
across one way or the other, bringing them all together,
but then kind of just the way that it commentates
on beginnings and endings and making way for new.
Speaker 2 (01:13:20):
Life by the end of the death of the old life.
Speaker 1 (01:13:23):
And it is just a very it's a it's a
game that like really speaks to video games are experiences.
You can experience them in a way you cannot experience
just about any other media, and it is sort of
the peak of that. There's a reason it is number
three on that Giant Bomb lists Best Games of the Millennium.
Speaker 4 (01:13:41):
It's a bit of say, I'm on the store Patriot
now and I see the very first thing that says
in the store pages named Game of the Year twenty
nineteen by Giant Bomb.
Speaker 3 (01:13:48):
Yep. Yeah, it's just like one of the.
Speaker 4 (01:13:50):
Things where I'm afterwards, I'm so impressed people are able
to make this right, Like how yes, Pall is something
like this something we can make and play in this
day and age, Like, you know, it's one time that
joke if we've come a long way since pac Man,
I think about that, even though you know, this game's
almost kind of old now, right six years ago, but boy,
(01:14:11):
yep doesn't feel like it doesn't feel like it.
Speaker 1 (01:14:14):
There was a like we got like breath of the
Wild in twenty seventeen, and then five years later we
got elden Ring and it really felt like, Okay, elden
Ring does feel like it has five years of knowledge
built on.
Speaker 2 (01:14:26):
Top of anything that Breath of the Wild might have
been doing.
Speaker 1 (01:14:29):
That it's a little bit similar, and it's like, I
do wonder if like this this genre that Alder Worlds
was playing around in. It's like how much more complex
and sort of intricate can these ideas get? Like it's
almost expecting so much of the player, but every time
they do ask more, we kind of do figure it out.
And as long as they make it intriguing, I'll keep
pulling on these threads and find my way through it.
(01:14:51):
And that I mean, I need to play that DLC
for that game.
Speaker 3 (01:14:53):
I never did.
Speaker 4 (01:14:54):
Yeah, everyone's in my chat with someone's good, and like
there were a couple of times where I was almost
getting frustrated and almost like was getting upset and mad, like, oh,
I don't know what they want me to do.
Speaker 3 (01:15:04):
I don't think it's poor, they explained, I think I've
met the game blah.
Speaker 4 (01:15:06):
Blah blah blah blah, And I stick with it and
I figure it out and it's so satisfying and it
feels great. So it's almost you know, having faith in
the game, having faith in yourself that there is a
solution there and you can figure it out.
Speaker 3 (01:15:19):
Just like the vibe in the.
Speaker 4 (01:15:20):
Atmosphere and you know, the music, all that folks see stuff,
the coziness and the kind of dread of it contrasting
each other.
Speaker 3 (01:15:31):
Just a beautiful game.
Speaker 1 (01:15:33):
Yeah, And it's uh and like when you realize the
things that you can change and can't change, and then
there's some things that are so big it's like, how
am I supposed to do anything about it? And then
you realize, Welliam, maybe you're not supposed to do anything
about it. It's it's like I said, special game for sure.
Well what else you've been playing?
Speaker 4 (01:15:52):
I have been playing the Gradiest, the New Gradiest Collection Greatest.
Speaker 2 (01:15:57):
I've been playing up as well. I've been playing Earthly on.
Speaker 3 (01:15:59):
I want to play Earthy on. So we talked about
Grace Orges on it ten Dogs. There's a quick look
up on giant on dot com.
Speaker 4 (01:16:05):
So I just want to, you know, tell you all
to watch that, but tell me about Earth because this
is a new schmup by like the guy who did
the thunder Force games.
Speaker 1 (01:16:12):
I believe, right, Yeah, it's like basically two people. It's uh,
I believe they are thunder Force. There's some thunder Force
lineage and then there's Uso Koshiro doing the sound and
the sound effects.
Speaker 2 (01:16:23):
So it's his studio.
Speaker 1 (01:16:26):
Basically, he's founded this studio to make stuff like this
as an excuse to basically go back and make more
music with the Genesis sound chip.
Speaker 3 (01:16:33):
And it's it's definitely that game.
Speaker 1 (01:16:35):
I think it's like fifty megabytes because they are going
to put it out on a shoot cartridge for Genesis.
Speaker 2 (01:16:40):
I think, I think that's right.
Speaker 3 (01:16:44):
So I played it. I got all the way through it.
There are like eight stages.
Speaker 2 (01:16:48):
It's a shooter.
Speaker 1 (01:16:48):
If you kind of get through it, you or if
you start learning the patterns and stuff, you can get
through it pretty quickly. I thought it was really good.
It's it's a you know, it's it's simple. There's the
systems aren't too in depth, but there's you know, you
get your weapon pickups, you have three slots, and there
are these upgrades upgrade of items that you get in
as long as you're carrying them with you as you
(01:17:09):
finish a level. You get a chance to upgrade your ship,
and there's kind of two slots in the middle of
your of your status bar that are not being used,
and so you can kind of fill them in, and
you can fill that in with let's say you want
to increase the strength of your normal shop and your shields.
Those are attached to one item sort of upgrade, and
(01:17:29):
you could so you can make a new slot for that.
Now you can have three of those as opposed to
two that you start with. Or on the other side,
you have you have two special item slots. You can
add another one of those, or you can add a
ship so you have an extra life something like that.
These are the options you get as you complete a
level with this upgrade item, and so you're you're kind
of like trying to balance that stuff out and eventually
(01:17:50):
like you kind of put together a decent build.
Speaker 2 (01:17:53):
And then when you're playing the game, if you do have.
Speaker 1 (01:17:55):
Like a lot of slots for your standard weapon and
your shields, as you were picking up these energy items,
it replenishes like that energy first, and then it starts
replenishing the energy for your special items. And that does
not mean that like, oh, now I can use those items.
It just means that they are going to be more
effective and more powerful. So it's not like super demanding
(01:18:17):
in terms of trying to keep up with this resource
management or anything like that. But if you do care
about that, you can be more effective and start taking
out bosses pretty quickly.
Speaker 3 (01:18:27):
And then you know the look and the feel and
this kind of the style.
Speaker 1 (01:18:31):
The sounds just all really on point, really good stuff.
Digitized voices kind of giving you commands, commands at the
beginning of a level, that sort of stuff. And it's
not trying to be one of those games where it's like, hey,
this is kind of what your memory was like back then.
It's like, no, it's this is basically a Genesis game.
And yet it's probably the best.
Speaker 2 (01:18:49):
Looking Genesis game in a lot of ways.
Speaker 1 (01:18:51):
Some really good introductory cut scenes to levels where the
ship sort of flies out of the screen and then
goes back into the real playfield and all those effects
are really good. I was like very happy to play it,
like play through it all on one evening. Good schmop.
Some people are gonna like become obsessed with it and
try to get to the harder and get through the
harder and harder difficulties that ain't gonna be me with
(01:19:13):
this one, but I do think it can hold up
to that kind of gameplay.
Speaker 2 (01:19:17):
So yeah, pretty impressed.
Speaker 3 (01:19:18):
By this, and I hope I hope it does okay,
so that usual Casiro can just.
Speaker 2 (01:19:22):
Keep doing this for the rest of his life. Like
he's earned it.
Speaker 1 (01:19:25):
That Streets Range Rage soundtrack and Streets of Rage two
soundtrack all time greatest video games soundtrack, mount Rushmore level quality,
He's earned it. So I hope people are able to
check this out and kind of give him some cash.
Speaker 3 (01:19:37):
Man.
Speaker 4 (01:19:37):
Now I'm looking at his wiki page now and like
he's doing music for Shanobi Art of Vengeance. He's doing
a couple of yeas from me to the Holler. It's
so cool that he's just still making game music because
yet a time he made.
Speaker 1 (01:19:48):
A couple of tracks for Streets Streets of Rage four
stuff like that, and the music is awesome. Like, I
don't nothing's as good as Streets of the Streets of
Rage two, but it's it's still very good. Yeah nothingness
it's yeah, so of course not, but yeah, I really enjoying.
That's earthy On. That's earth Io in earth On. It's
on Steam a handful of dollars or something like that.
People should check it out.
Speaker 3 (01:20:08):
Neat, neat, okay, anything else. That's it for me.
Speaker 4 (01:20:14):
I want to play some Battlefield Beta here soon. I
got that downloaded, ready to go.
Speaker 1 (01:20:19):
And oh I'm gonna download ses. We're done here, okay,
very cool, all right, you know what, Let's read some
super chats.
Speaker 3 (01:20:24):
Then we told Christian he could talk about Segott. Oh
that's right, Yeah for that too, Christian tell us about Segott.
Speaker 2 (01:20:31):
How are you finding him?
Speaker 3 (01:20:32):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (01:20:32):
This is really fun. Then the cat conscious they're cooking
with the DLC characters. They haven't released one that is
like even bad, like some people feel cool about like
some characters, but they're fucking freaks. Don't listen to them.
Every DLC character has been the spot on and sayeah,
it is the same. She's He's a tall motherfucker with
lengthy arms, and he controlled firewalls left and right, so
(01:20:54):
you keep your enemies far away and whenever they champagne,
you do a dragon punch and they really annoyed and
they either rage Quid or they die. So yeah, they're
really new. Yeah, it is a fun character. I was
I was afraid because they took away his fire balls.
He used to have six different firebales because with the
kicks and the punches, you know, you do like the
(01:21:17):
higher faster, the lower faster or whatever, and you mix
them up like that and you fuck around with people
with that.
Speaker 3 (01:21:23):
But in this case two So what happened?
Speaker 5 (01:21:25):
Well, because fucking war controls.
Speaker 2 (01:21:27):
Brother, Oh no, the world controls.
Speaker 3 (01:21:29):
It comes to God.
Speaker 5 (01:21:30):
Yeah, yeah, the mother controls have some limitations where they
can't have, like they have a limited amount of special
moves that they came map to the modern control, so
they have to change how classic works. So now he
only has three, but it's plenty enough, Like it works fine,
it doesn't. And on top of that, they kind of
(01:21:50):
change that approach of us firewall. Now he can browl
to he sho just he just wreck your shade if
he like, if you miss upp and you punish something.
He has a bunch of a different combo route. All
his stuff has like extra Yogo points, so you can
shogle motherfuckers in there and like throw fireballs and they're
still in there, and then you can super after the
fire balls. So it's a really really fun, really birth
(01:22:12):
satile character. Super Super if you have if you had
the game, it's just bye bye bye bye Sagat and
you're gonna have a good, good fun times.
Speaker 3 (01:22:23):
And also I'm I'm down downloading that right now. I
want to try to check it out.
Speaker 2 (01:22:26):
I always like Sigott.
Speaker 3 (01:22:27):
I've enjoyed him.
Speaker 1 (01:22:28):
It's like, yeah, that's my number three character in a
lot of games.
Speaker 5 (01:22:31):
Some people started he loves kind of old, but he
is a no motherfucker. And this game is like a timeline.
Speaker 3 (01:22:37):
So here's the bag Eye Street Fighter one.
Speaker 2 (01:22:40):
Yes, I don't mind that he looks old.
Speaker 1 (01:22:42):
I do not like the costume though it looks I
don't like the raggedy clothes on him and on Ken.
Speaker 5 (01:22:48):
These aren't like, yeah, used the classic one where he
looks like the Classic is.
Speaker 2 (01:22:56):
Still exactly Yes, yeah, I'm down with that, and.
Speaker 5 (01:22:59):
I know but the beginnings that we already talk and
I feel game about it. So yeah, three fight a
pretty good. Oh it can on on the City of
the Wolves. I tried a little bit. It's canon City
of the Wolves, and that game is just.
Speaker 2 (01:23:13):
Yeah, where where do you fall in City of the Wolves,
And just in terms of gameplay, like just in terms
of the way it.
Speaker 5 (01:23:18):
Plays, I think I think it's awesome. I think it's
great love I like it. I lot some people doesn't
like it. It plays. I really like how it plays.
She's like the short up approach and like up down
like low things with the perfect blocks and that kind
of stuff. It's really fun when you get in that
in that flow of like, oh, I perfect plug this,
(01:23:38):
so I'm plus now so I can like take my
turn back that kind of stuff. But it's just it's
just weird. It's just all the the Aulio radio ship
around there. It's just like really sour me on the game.
So you know, anyone like even play it so ye
can send the game and it's just no fun for me.
Speaker 3 (01:23:54):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (01:23:55):
All right, Uh, let's get those super chats Mike.
Speaker 3 (01:23:58):
Sure, Let's see where did we leave off here?
Speaker 4 (01:24:04):
I think it's at this one Moto Muffy says, Hi, boys,
have you heard anything about a PlayStation showcase in September?
Speaker 1 (01:24:11):
No, I've not heard anything about a PlayStation showcase, but
I've been asked.
Speaker 2 (01:24:15):
I can do that and see what I hear.
Speaker 1 (01:24:19):
They are probably gonna do a PlayStation stay of play
before the end of the year, but I wouldn't expect
much more than that.
Speaker 4 (01:24:26):
Then from a big fresh thirty seven five episodes into
season two, I haven't seen enough. The Twisted Battle show
is better than the Last of Us last season two
is out.
Speaker 1 (01:24:37):
People love that show. I mean, I just don't know
when I'll ever be in the mood for that show.
I guess it's like one where it's like, could I
put it on the background while doing something all of
since see if it grabs me?
Speaker 2 (01:24:49):
Maybe?
Speaker 1 (01:24:49):
I just I don't know. I'm glad that it's good, though,
and I'm glad that people aren't enjoying it are enjoying it.
Speaker 4 (01:24:55):
Sign from Saskatchewan says, well, the Hogan game be on
Bike Club or not possible?
Speaker 3 (01:24:59):
No, it's not gonna be probably.
Speaker 1 (01:25:01):
I mean it would it just be like I mean, listen,
it's bad. There is no reason the connect couldn't work.
I just do you do that game and make someone
not dresses Hogan? And we're not gonna make any any
of us dresses Hogan.
Speaker 4 (01:25:12):
Is that no one wants addressed as a racist, right
and you know, yeah, so that that's that's where it's
it's troublesome if we get Jimmy Hart or something that
even he sucks.
Speaker 3 (01:25:21):
So I don't know, it's probably not gonna be possible.
Speaker 4 (01:25:25):
The jams four or five zero sentonses can't wait to
see all into Get into the Outer wild ZC. It's
equally phenomenal and expe of the themes of the story
and really interesting and important ways.
Speaker 1 (01:25:36):
So I was talking about like playing replaying the Outer
Wilds and do the like the outdoor game. And I
have a projector, I have one of those inflatable screens.
I have a fire pit, I got a nice seating outside,
and I've never played the DLC, and I want to
play it, like as it starts to get a little
bit chilly, so October, I might do that in October. Uh,
and we got some other stuff happening in October. So
(01:25:56):
I'll just got to make the scheduling work. But like
I'm gonna get it all set up and do it
and give it a shot.
Speaker 4 (01:26:01):
I'm shocked it's a game that has DLC right, Like
it's not the vibe I get from it.
Speaker 3 (01:26:06):
So people, yeah, you know it just I'm like, what
are you talking about?
Speaker 1 (01:26:08):
I know's it was just so successful and like lauded
and I think the team really liked making it.
Speaker 2 (01:26:13):
It's kind of the sense I got so yeah, very.
Speaker 3 (01:26:15):
Cool, and there we go. We're caught up. Thank you
so much, everybody.
Speaker 2 (01:26:20):

Speaker 4 (01:27:07):
I'm gonna play something new here now. I gotta do
Demon Souls at some point, finish up this from soft thing.
I do want to play control, finish up the or
continue the twenty nineteen video game Apology Tour.
Speaker 3 (01:27:20):
So yeah, I want to play some heretic.
Speaker 4 (01:27:23):
Probably gonna get that on my switch to tonight, play
that in bed and then rules maybe see we can
do a quick look or something. I'm sorry, Yeah they
did those games. I'm I'm oh, I love me, I
love me my Boomer shooters. But I specifically like the
actual games from that era more than I like the
new Boomershter shooters inspired by them.
Speaker 1 (01:27:43):
Not that there have been some good ones, but yes,
this this is great stuff getting these games back, and
I just I'm man night Dive or my people.
Speaker 3 (01:27:51):
They are Yeah, they're great.
Speaker 4 (01:27:53):
I know they like one slip up with that Blade
Runner thing, but I know generally they do amazing work.
Speaker 1 (01:28:00):

pet you specifically, Mike. Oh okay, all right, all right,
now she's falling down. All right, thanks for watching, everybody. Well,

little bit more time so we could do even more stuff.
I think I'm gonna Christian, I wanna talk to you
(01:28:20):
we're gonna come up with some ideas about like some
up bonus stuff to be doing for game mess So
me and him are gonna get to work on some
stuff here pretty soon.
Speaker 2 (01:28:27):
Looking forward to that.
Speaker 3 (01:28:29):

Speaker 2 (01:28:29):
Thanks, just thanks.
Speaker 1 (01:28:30):
Everyone who's been supporting us. It's been fantastic. We want
to just keep doing this, so thank you everybody. All right,
so next time, I have a good one, Take care
of yourself and goodbye.
Speaker 3 (01:28:40):
What happened to the cat?
Speaker 2 (01:28:43):
She just like knocks something down and.
Speaker 3 (01:28:44):
Like swooped herself. She's okay, she's you know, curiosity and
all that stuff.
Speaker 7 (01:28:49):
What what?
Speaker 3 (01:28:50):
What's that?
Speaker 5 (01:28:55):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (01:28:55):
I can't say it. She's right here, she'll hear me,
but it's all Oh, it's all good. Don't worry cookie,
You're all right. What are you going to do now?
You're going to break yourself? No, that's my retro think now.
But man, for so long I fantasized about sucking their
own dick. He comes all right, I don't know, excuse me.
Speaker 5 (01:29:29):
Poor and in chance says that they like the concept
of Italy.
Speaker 3 (01:29:32):
I like that too, don't have.
Speaker 2 (01:29:34):
To go back to that episode.
Speaker 1 (01:29:35):
Wef it's fine. Yeah, the concept of Italy. I like
the concept of a producer who shuts the fuck up.
Speaker 2 (01:29:41):
How about that. I don't get that either.
Speaker 5 (01:29:47):
I cracked myself off every single time.
Speaker 2 (01:29:50):
All these fantasies I have.
Speaker 1 (01:29:53):
All Right, let's see, she got rage Bound did really
good eighty seven. I didn't realize it reviewed that well,
but I didn't.
Speaker 3 (01:30:00):
I forgot.
Speaker 2 (01:30:01):
But it is very good.
Speaker 3 (01:30:02):
I've been playing a ton of that. But to finish
it too much.
Speaker 5 (01:30:06):
Too much, feisty. How do you feast face Fastye?
Speaker 2 (01:30:11):

Speaker 3 (01:30:56):

Speaker 2 (01:30:58):
Jesus is a busy.
Speaker 3 (01:30:59):
Week these videos.
Speaker 5 (01:31:03):
The monetars already might be.
Speaker 3 (01:31:06):
That's you know, and YouTube doesn't care. Uh?
Speaker 1 (01:31:10):
All right, I played Earth on everybody. You know what,
I'll talk about what we've been playing.
Speaker 5 (01:31:13):
Oh Earth Earthian, I play, I forgot, I play. I've
been playing some of that Killing Floor three.
Speaker 2 (01:31:21):
Oh yeah, what did you make of that?
Speaker 3 (01:31:22):
I just.
Speaker 5 (01:31:24):
It's just it's not it's not the same as o
GE Killing Floor. It just doesn't hit the same word.
And they changed the whole the whole vibes of the
of the game of who it was. You know, it
looks I hate that. It looks like like Doo twenty sixteen.
It's like a lot of like shiny surfaces and reflect
(01:31:48):
like it looks I don't know. The old Killing Floor
was like this, like almost half life like lavatory looking
game video m you know, mm hmm, and this one
is like so different. I was just I'm back, don't
buy it with it.
Speaker 1 (01:32:07):
I have added Madden, so I'll be playing that tomorrow
as well. We'll see, I'm not tew are people playing
it right now?

You know how to get into the Battlefield six Spade
because I've been watching streams that I haven't got any people.
Speaker 3 (01:32:27):
A lot of people.
Speaker 5 (01:32:28):
Yeah, people told me you should just watch the stream
and you will get in it. Was like, I've been
watching like seven different streams and.
Speaker 1 (01:32:35):
It'll it'll open this weekend. But yeah, we want it now, Jason,
we're impatient.
Speaker 3 (01:32:39):
Yeah right, I'm gonna bring us back right all right?
Speaker 5 (01:32:50):
You wanna set up that bitch a game?
Speaker 2 (01:32:53):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:32:54):
Where where is it?
Speaker 4 (01:32:54):
What?
Speaker 2 (01:32:54):
What are we doing? How does it working?
Speaker 5 (01:32:57):
You gonna watch?
Speaker 3 (01:32:58):
Oh? I see it? Yes, thank you, we did one
of these.
Speaker 2 (01:33:07):
Damn, I'm excited.
Speaker 5 (01:33:12):
I did feel guilt after buying those kids in a way, I.
Speaker 2 (01:33:18):
Know, sure, I feel shame.
Speaker 3 (01:33:20):
No share, no, no.
Speaker 5 (01:33:21):
Shame guilt, you know, purchases purchase guilt. I like, I
just feel like a hundred bucks in empty g arena
and a game that I've only ever play and it
was like, okay, whatever, but this they're five each. They're like,
there are three hundred, there are three hundred and ten
(01:33:41):
five money, but you can only buy Like, yeah, I
lost the math, but it's money you gotta pay. It's
a thirte bucks. Yeah, it's it's it's not a good
it's not the system they have there.
Speaker 4 (01:33:58):
It's just wow that they're we're still behind on the
costume game for so long.
Speaker 5 (01:34:02):
They're still behind.
Speaker 4 (01:34:03):
I think they still are behind yeah, this motivator. Yes
still yeah, I mean, Chris, I've talked about it. It's
just a sixth problem though. Like five, it's so goddamn the.
Speaker 5 (01:34:16):
Only the only reason why, yeah, the only reason why
five survival was because of the of the outfits.
Speaker 6 (01:34:23):
Yeah, they literally paid for five's costumes. Like this is
a fact. They paid for five's d l C. With
the costume sales. It was wild.
Speaker 2 (01:34:33):
I think, I am good.
Speaker 3 (01:34:35):
Let me do this quick. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:34:40):
Sorry, it's not really cut on the bottom. I think
we might be missing a little bit. I don't know how.
I don't know what's it maybe okay, yeah, I don't
know how much they will stretch sometimes the show text
on there. I don't know how.
Speaker 3 (01:34:56):
Yeah I can.
Speaker 2 (01:34:56):
I can give it a little bit more space, just
a little.
Speaker 3 (01:35:00):
Uh, let me cut it off here and there. Okay,
that should be good.
Speaker 5 (01:35:09):
That's good. Yeah, there you go.
Speaker 3 (01:35:12):
Oh we just moved inside piece of ship.
Speaker 2 (01:35:15):
Okay, cool, I can bring it back little.
Speaker 3 (01:35:30):
Oh yea brother man there he is, watch me snap
into Yeah, it's a little bit better than mess of
a guess.
Speaker 1 (01:35:38):
Well, if I do feel better about this one than
that one, for sure? All right, I am I'm ready
to get back into it.
Speaker 3 (01:35:44):
If you guys are check, just.
Speaker 5 (01:35:46):
Let me know if you want to know us to get.
Speaker 1 (01:35:50):
Oh yeah, yeah, we could talk a little bit about
yeah damn.
Speaker 3 (01:36:00):
Uh okay, and there we go. All right, Cookie, come here,
hang on, let's just cat crime.
Speaker 5 (01:36:13):
You made me press the button. Don't got the pristy
button again.
Speaker 3 (01:36:21):
I just can't get that's right here? Here you go.
Speaker 5 (01:36:25):
Oh this is okay, Cookie, that's your baby. That's a fella.
Speaker 3 (01:36:29):

Speaker 5 (01:36:30):

Speaker 2 (01:36:35):
There you go. Everybody. Sorry of Cookie. All right, let's
get back into it.
Speaker 3 (01:36:38):
You gotta go.
Speaker 2 (01:36:38):
You got things to do, all right,
