Speaker 1 (00:23):
You know.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
It's the Internet. You're busy. Let's do this. Welcome to
the Game Mesticides podcast. This is the podcast where we
decide everything about the world of games, so you never
have to think for yourself. I'm your host Jeff Grubbin.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
With me is Mike Manatti.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
In today's episode, Naked Snake is back. Mike is here.
We will draft the best Meddle Gear Solid game ever
and more. It's gonna be a good one. Mike Manatti,
how are you doing?

Speaker 4 (00:51):
I am doing good. I was just playing the metal
Gear Solid game. It's fun. I like metal Gear Solid.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
Yeah, I love metal Gear Solid. Triangle that sounds like
a good game track.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
The Delta thing, I guess I accept the Delta thing.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
I also accept Delta into my heart. I will. I
will not deny it.

Speaker 4 (01:10):
I would have accepted so much more if they just
used the like the letter that's number three, right, That's
when I first like, oh, delta, that must be what
three is?

Speaker 3 (01:17):
It's like, no, delta is four, so all.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
Right, yeah, it's it's a little I mean it's sound.
I mean it is a triangle, right, so like you
can get to three. But you're right. The word it's
I don't know, it's coach, it doesn't matter. None of
the ship matters. Yet it all matters.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
Somehow, nothing really matters.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
Anyone can see. Yeah, there it is. Uh yeah, okay, fantastic.
I'm glad. I'm glad you're back. You're missed last week's right,
it was a good time.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
Right, you're here. Yeah, that was that was exciting.

Speaker 4 (01:46):
My mom is completely fine, but she had to go
to the hospital and get something to take.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
You want to be checking on your family or her.

Speaker 4 (01:53):
You hear when your mom calls you as upset and
she's in the emergency room, Like, well, I guess I'm
going there, so exactly.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Yep, but how you doing otherwise? You like, you know,
August is over, it's September. Yeah, there's going to be
non stop games starting very soon. I was just talking
to Dan about it, like next week's got a bunch
of stuff, you know, lost Solicide. The kids won't stop
talking about lost soloicide. Might shut up.

Speaker 4 (02:19):
About loss sol as side my god. Yeah, I definitely
want to catch up.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
And you know I brought up before each of us
needs to take a week off, just a finished thing.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
I have a lot of half.

Speaker 4 (02:29):
Beaten games right now, and like, honestly a lot of
them I can almost leave half beaten, like like a
Vowed and even Doom the Dark Kges.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
I like those games. I don't know.

Speaker 4 (02:39):
I do want to finish them though, but if I didn't,
it's not like they're vying for my top five and
this year or anything like that.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
Yeah, I I'm glad that I've focused in on Expedition.
That has made it easy. I know that one matters,
so it's been very easy to like throw other things
to the side. But I know once to get past that,
it's gonna be tough. Because am I going to play
Death Stranding two? Or will I want to Drive or
Jump to Delta. There's a bunch of other games that
I'm interested in. I'm playing Shinobi, I'm playing this Kirby DLC.

(03:09):
Now I want to finish Hurdling, a game that I'm
almost completed, completed in one city, I might as well
just go ahead and finish that. So there are a
bunch of stuff in that tier right behind Expedition that's
going to keep me busy for sure, And that's before
all of these other new games start coming out. But yeah,
I'm overall twenty twenty five. It has been really good
for games, I think in terms of the games that

(03:30):
I've been interested in playing, it's kind of felt NonStop.

Speaker 4 (03:34):
Yeah, there's still some things I have but to try that, Like,
I don't want to miss the zech As completely sort
of the see I thought. Look, they're saying, I know
there's some funkiness with layoffs there immediately, so I'm not
sure what's happening there, but I still want to play
that game. Yeah, just just tons of you know, like
you said, things are still coming out October, especially back
but I mean.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
September fourth is so that's a week today. That's insane.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
Yep. Well, but I'm mad at your boy, Northern Lion
Christian he put he puts in rage bait about Silk Song.
I don't. Yeah, he's basically insulting, insulting the entire idea.

Speaker 4 (04:13):
It's so reductively like, well, it's just like going to
your car, realist, it's like being like, well, playing a
game of computers.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
Just like typing an essay because.

Speaker 3 (04:21):
It has two points of similarity.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
Diablo is just clicking on dudes, right, Yeah, like oh,
it's just a mouse clicking game. Yeah, he got me.
I'm trying to say, is that fuck you got me?
I'm rage.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
Basically, it's like seeing he's seeing your soul and the
reflection is messed up, is yeah that guy?

Speaker 2 (04:43):
So yeah? Genre, yes, best genre, it'll be That game
is a week away. It's nuts and there are despite
all these games getting delayed, there are still other games
coming out that week, so yes, it'll be pectic.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
But whatever my likes. If I could just for your type,
like it'd be like going to the same nine and
five every day. You just do the same thing.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
And I know that a stupid by socialist healthcare, so like,
really clearly there, he's just too far gone. There's nothing
to be on the bey on hope. Uh, I'm glad
we could take Northern Line down a peg or two.
Finally someone does it. All right, let's let's start the show.

It's one way or the other. Okay, let's check it with Mike.
Mike Manatti live on the scene where he's mad. Can
you tell us why Mike Manatti is mad?

Speaker 4 (06:45):
Okay, So apparently this guy who has raised Vida at
petro Vellas also likes the horse Girl game. Now, look,
I've been pretty nice about this Horse Girl gay, but
you're gonna look, I'm not gonna you're yum for that
game where you watch girls right around a track.

Speaker 2 (07:03):
You just watch them run around a track.

Speaker 4 (07:05):
I know you like, give him a pep talk beforehead,
or tell them to go in the song or to
run a lap or something first, or god knows what.
That's fine, but you're not gonna You're not gonna be
into that and then pooh pooh super Metroid or Hello
night or sent me the night.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
I won't take it. Mike, you're one hundred percent ride.
Yeah you're a plus for Mike, Yes, thank you, You're
going one hundred percent ride. But the way he plays
the horse the Horse Girl games is fucking insane. It's
like watching a crackhead doing crack is. I've never seen
someone move through those menus like that. Motherfucker is crazy.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
If like someone had to, that's that's why we have
you on the show to say what needs to be said.
All right, well, Northern Lion, now that he's been dealt
with and I'm sure you'll never hear from him again,
let's get to our big topics of the week. Kotaku
dot com is reporting Diablo four Blizzard has unionized. Let's
see here. I'm gonna go ahead and just click through
on this. This is just happening recently, so so we can

(08:11):
get caught up here. Yeah, the Diablo team unionizes over
AI remote work and passion tax of working in games.
The team making Diablo for and other entries in Blizzard
Act and Blizzard's Action RPG franchise is the latest inside
of Microsoft to unionize. Workers say the move is to
help them negotiate fair terms around issues like layoffs and
remote work. Passion can can't protect us from job instability.

(08:33):
Software engineer sky Hoofling said in a press release. Our
union allows us to focus on making magical experiences for
our players instead of worrying about the unstable job industry.
I mean, I think at this point, Mike, there was
always a bit of a hesitancy a bit. There was
a ton of hesitancy in development circles to unionize for

(08:54):
a very long time, because the reality is there was
a lot of guys who were just like I got
here on my own terms, and I want to just
be on my own terms. I don't want to have
to deal with the union and give up some of
my autonomy or any of that. And that has clearly
been proven over time to be a pretty poor position
because even those people have now been exploited and discarded

(09:14):
by these companies over and over and over again. And
there's this new younger group of people who are like
who have seen that happen all their lives, are now
still wanting to work in this business because they love games,
but have a level and realistic head on their shoulders
about what it's going to take to make sure that
they can protect themselves when they are still making games
for these giant corporations. I hope this is the continuing

(09:36):
of the dam breaking and in five years most of
the industry is unionized. I don't know if that's the case,
but this feels like another good step in that direction.

Speaker 4 (09:45):
Yeah, it's a're definitely opening a bit, but gosh, if
you work out a Microsoft studio, I feel like the
pressure is extra intense to make sure you have some
job security BTE banding together. You know that another giant
round of layoffs is gonna happen anytime. I mean, if
you're working on something like diabolo, it seems like a

(10:06):
big money maker right now, but you know, you never
know when exactly the high tides begin to slow down,
and they're thinking like, wellow, we may as well reduce
the size of this team and not have them work
on something else. Let's just fucking fire them. So yeah, God,
do what you can to protect yourselves.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
Yeah, we could see what happens when these companies seem to,
like in the case of Microsoft, lose interest in games.
I mean, I don't know any other way of describing
what has happened at Microsoft other than they have just
shifted their gaze from video games to AI and the
people who are working on games will go get fucked,
I guess. And that's Microsoft's official position. So what can

(10:45):
you do in that? In that situation, the only thing
you can do is turn turn to your union if
you have one, And in this case, it sounds like
people are like saying you know what, we need one.
This is like, honestly, union at Blizzard would have been
an unthinkable thing ten years to go. So it really
has changed a ton very fast, all things considered, So

(11:06):
we'll see this continues to happen. Obviously, the passion tax
is a big part of that, where people can be
taken advantage of because they do want to work in
this thing that they've loved all their lives. That's of course,
that's something that has always been exploited in video games. Yeah,
there's a lot of companies like that.

Speaker 4 (11:21):
I mean, gosh, you know, even things like thing parks
and other industries like that. It has a big fanilase
of people that's their dream job. It kind of can
suck because kind turns into lower salaries. That should because
some people are vying for those positions.

Speaker 3 (11:35):
Yeah, oh the sort of thing you know.

Speaker 4 (11:36):
I know that like a union isn't a magic Bullet's
not going to stop all layoffs, but it can offer protections.
You can maybe offer better separences if things do become
the way they are, could at least scare them off
a little bit and hold back the floodgates that can
damn things a little bit longer.

Speaker 2 (11:51):
I mean, why the hell not, or get you more
while you are employed there, right, it could exactly ensure
that the passion tax is at least taken care of.
Where it's like, no, you can't just take advantage of
these people because they want to work here. They're still
doing the labor for you. You need to compensate them fairly.
And then if you still end up getting paid off,
at least you made more money while you were doing
the work. It's something, you're right. It's not not some

(12:13):
magic bal it. No one thinks. It's that it could
just give you a little bit more power at the
bargaining table. All right, let's continue here. That Sircana report
came in the video game industry up mostly because of
mobile games. There's a new mobile game or a new
to the United States that's doing very well, and so
it's like, okay, well what does that mean for consoles.

(12:33):
Didn't the Switch to just come out? Yeah, the Switch
two came out. It's doing extremely well. It is the
fastest selling consoles still through this point. It is selling
a little bit faster than the PS four. Matt Piscatela said,
it is selling seventy five percent faster than the Switch
to or Switch one, So it's doing very well. It
has clearly continued to pass this early gate of hey,

(12:55):
can we get the early adopters to feel good about
this thing? Obviously, and Toman's trip, yes is the answer
to that question. He Matt, when he was on the
show Game Best Mornings with Me earlier this week, said,
you know, the question does continue to hang in the
air of what's going to happen this holiday, but we'll see.
At the very least, Nintendo does seem to have good
momentum on that front. So if it was all coming

(13:16):
from mobile and switch, why isn't it like wire and
sales way up. Well, there's a couple of things. College
football came back last year. There was another college football
game released this year and it did very well. It's
the number one best selling game of the month, but
it's not quite matching the excitement of its first return
after more than ten years, which is what happened last year.
And then the PlayStation in Xbox console sales really are

(13:40):
cratering in terms of the hardware being sold. PlayStation five hardware,
let's see, I have it down here. I believe that
was down like forty seven percent. Yeah, PS five hardware sales,
and that's per dollar, So it made forty seven percent
less in terms of dollar sales compared to last year.
Xbox Series spending meanwhile, dropped sixty nine percent year over year.

(14:03):
Not nice. And so I think between that those two,
those two consoles, you know, that dragged down accessory sales.
Accessory sales were down eight percent, and that was like
when the Xbox went up in price. I believe the
PlayStation five price increased, or do I have that backwards?
Was it maybe the other way? Either way, one of
the systems had just gone up in price, but the
other one had not yet. And really I think a

(14:25):
lot of the price increase will just be kind of
settling into those following months. So sales were already down,
they're down even more, and these things keep getting more expensive. Mike,
when you hear all that, what do you think? Ah?

Speaker 3 (14:38):
What do I do?

Speaker 4 (14:39):
Wonder when we're going to start hearing about the PlayStation
six here? Right, it's starting to feel like maybe sooner
rather than later. In a lot of ways, this has
something we hear about even next year. Not that could
possibly come out next year, but gosh, twenty twenty seven.
I don't know, and who knows whatever the heck Xbox
is thinking about with this next gen console thing of

(15:01):
some kind. But yeah, everything is said there, you know
makes sense. You know, looking at the software, it's interesting
seeing what's you know, obviously EA Sports like you said,
and then there's like an EA Sports College Bundle thing
right below that. But kay, yeah, like the switch to
is doing strong. I mean, it's impressive that Donkey Kunk Bonanza,
which is on this very new console. There are still

(15:22):
only so many of those out there, but it still
is number three and it's debut month yep, yep, number
not counting digital sales.

Speaker 2 (15:29):
Right, not counting digital sales, and on a system that
has had fewer than two million consoles in the United States.
So yeah, that's impressive. Matt pointed out, even if you
had included digital sales, there's very it's very unlikely that
due to the number of Switch twos out there, it
would have outsold the college football game. And of course, yeah,
that is a massive game on multiple platforms. It's it

(15:53):
is worth noting a lot of people probably did buy
PS five's and xboxes last year for that new college
football game. It's definitely something. It was one of those
games that got people off the sideline, So that's going
to make it a tough comparison for hardware sales as well.
But you know, talking to Matt about it again, he
does make it sound like the decline now that we're
on the other side of the Bell curve of console

(16:15):
the rate of console sales is a little bit more
dramatic in terms of a decline than he was expecting,
and I think we keep seeing that reflected in the
numbers and whatever. The comparison point is, it's like, this
is pretty consistent month to month.

Speaker 3 (16:29):
It's interest because the PlayStation five Pro is not that old.

Speaker 4 (16:32):
It doesn't feel like it did much to extend the
life of the console like the PlayStation four Pro did.
M Yeah, it's incredibly expensive and only getting more expensive.

Speaker 2 (16:42):
Incredibly expensive, and the comparison to the PS five just
isn't as farable for favorable for the PS five Pro,
whereas the PS four Pro was just it was easy
to understand this thing could do four K, the other
one couldn't, and you just got a four K TV
such an easy sale here, you just don't have anything
close to that that was something we were talking about
with the PS five PRO to begin with, and now

(17:03):
it's kind of been born out through the numbers here,
and you know, the overall interest. I've heard a lot
of people skipping out on the PS five Pro. And
now it's seven hundred and fifty dollars something like that.
That's just an astronomical number. And really it's hard to
shake the fact. It's like, yeah, it's a PS five Pro,
but the PS five as an idea is five years old.

(17:24):
It's it's it's ancient at this point in terms of
a console hardware. And you want us to spend seven
hundred and fifty dollars on this version, that's it's going.

Speaker 4 (17:32):
To be tight for a lot, I mean people for
so long. It's like, oh, GTA six is going to
help sales consoles. I mean it is a boy boys
are coming in late for this thing.

Speaker 2 (17:40):
Yeah, I mean it's coming in late. But I wonder
if these companies are like, hey, we have a good
sandwich here that we're in the middle of. On this
one side, all of this, the pressures from the economy
and the tariffs give us a good excuse to raise
prices now, and then GTA six will come next year,
and so people will have time to get used to

(18:01):
these prices, and there are gonna be people who will
not be able to help themselves. They'll pay whatever they
have to pay to get GTA six next year, and
so it's gonna work out. It's gonna work out for them,
like they are going to sell a ton of consoles
next year, both of these companies, especially PlayStation though, so
uh yeah, I think that they're whatever happens in this moment,
they're not worried about that because this is all just practice.

(18:23):
It's a preseason game before we get to the real show,
and that is Grand Theft Auto six launching. Yeah. So
in terms of games sold or you know, new games,
Tony Oaks pro Skeed or three plus four was number
four on the chart map. Made it sound like it
did really well. It sold very well.

Speaker 3 (18:40):
Wow, So we'll get a new one real soon, right
for sure?

Speaker 2 (18:43):
I mean for it, we might start to beg. You
know why do we have to beg for it? You
know why we have to beg because a Criterion is
now a battlefield studio. That's what happens. Criteria need for
speed after getting bumped off of Burnout I would it's like,
we'll get Burnout back one day. Well, now, I'm not
even gonna fucking kid myself with that. We're not even

(19:04):
gonna get a need for speedback because they're a battlefield studio,
and you know that could just happen to anybody making
any of these games, even an external studio like Iron Galaxy.
They might end up working on a goddamn call of
duty at some point. So yeah, I do think that
they will see these numbers, and likely we will get

(19:25):
yet another Tony Hawk, because you know, I don't think
this one is setting the world on fire in quite
the same way as one plus two, but it does
sound pretty comparable, so that's good news. The other new
game on the chart, number eight, Grounded Too, that's an
early access game, has a reduced price because it's you know,
in game preview or whatever. So the fact that that
even got into the top ten is pretty impressive.

Speaker 4 (19:44):
Yeah, I mean, you know, it's only on PC and
Xbox yet number eight Early access ground Too.

Speaker 3 (19:49):
It's so weird how you thought grind of one wasn't
a hit that.

Speaker 4 (19:52):
One time, because the sequel is already coming out so
strong from the game.

Speaker 2 (19:56):
That's why it's one of my character flaws. Yeah, you're right.

Speaker 4 (20:01):
Do you do you think Outer Ring going from number
one last month already to sixteen actually two spots below
just normal out in ring?

Speaker 2 (20:09):
Do you think that's anything? Let's see what is this
thing on? Let me double check here, it's okay, Night Rain,
Night Rain, I got you. Yeah, I mean I don't know.
A ton of people are still are still playing that
on Steam right, like, let's just y ours check real
quick Steam.

Speaker 4 (20:26):
Charts generally happy with like people. You know, when when
I played, I was like, I don't know what people
were going to think, and the I was like, oh,
people do seem to like it?

Speaker 2 (20:34):
Yeah, like that audience showed up for it. I don't know,
is it in the top twenty five anymore? Maybe it's not. Yeah,
it's a little bit of a thing. But this always
felt like, let's take the assets that we already have,
Let's take this team that we want to get up
to speed on things. Let's make another thing, and if
this thing sells, you know, a few million copies, that'll

(20:55):
be awesome. It has certainly already done that, sure, but
it's definitely gonna be that the where yes, Elden Ring
will continue to sell better than this game, the core
elden Ring and Shadow the Ur Tree over time. Like
I think this is this was expected. Night Ring was
never going to replace elden Ring as the game there.
Elden Ring is like an all timer.

Speaker 4 (21:14):
So yeah, twenty five thousand concurrent players right now.

Speaker 2 (21:17):
Okay, that's that's respectable. That's that's like a most people
making games would kill to have their game have twenty
five thousand concurrent players for sure. All right, Uh, you know,
not much else out of the Sircana report. We're talking
about me and Matt talked a lot more about it
about it, so if you didn't hear that conversation, it's
worth going to listen to. He was a really great guest.

(21:37):
Unreal Injured five performance issues are mainly due to devs
not optimizing properly. You know who said that, Epic CEO
Tim Sweeney said that this shits.

Speaker 3 (21:50):
Said that maybe he could help them.

Speaker 2 (21:53):
Hey, he does eventually come around and say after say
it it's their fault, He's like, well, we might help
them more. So, I think this is a lot of
people are kind of sniff and bullshit here. A big
part of that is you know, Digital Foundry has kind
of been on epics ass a little bit about some
of these shader compilation issues that have been causing stuttering
in a lot of games, and just overall, Unreal Engine

(22:15):
five is used in a lot of big open world
games and almost every single one of them have have
performance issues of some kind. What is the most recent
unreal is it? It's metal Gear, right, metal Gear on
PC uses Unreal Engine and it's kind of it's rough
folk according to some people. And that's just it's people
are expecting that now and at a certain point, if

(22:36):
you're epic, you got to go okay. If everyone's having
an issue optimizing, maybe it's us, Like maybe we're the
common denominator here. Oblivion was another kind of big one.

Speaker 3 (22:46):
It's just a lot of these games just feel so
freaking heavy.

Speaker 4 (22:50):
And maybe he maybe he's onto something about people maybe
aiming too highland.

Speaker 2 (22:53):
They're making any things complexity.

Speaker 4 (22:56):
Yeah yeah, yeah, like right like me, just because they
can do all these things with unrelunnge of five. Maybe
they should it. I don't know, but it's becoming an
annoying problem. And if Unreal Engine is going to be
the de facto whatever I want to see more improvements
come to the engine during its life, Like I don't
want to wait for Unreal Engine six to kind of
hope that things get better here, because God knows when

(23:17):
that's happening.

Speaker 3 (23:18):
So yeah, I'm real unted five.

Speaker 4 (23:20):
Yeah, I kind of have like a negative sentiment about
it right now.

Speaker 2 (23:24):
It's kind of weird. You know, well, you're right that
it is. It has become the de facto, Like even
Nintendo uses it in a lot of their their games now,
and those games also have performance issues, But that was
on the switch ones, So where I think of everyone's like,
that's probably the switch one's fault, and those games run
better on switch too. But it does feel like maybe

(23:47):
some publishers are they looking around being like why are
we always just going with Unreal? Why did we give
up completely on this idea that we can make our
own engine, And some are starting to turn back to that.
Obviously Capcom has done that for years now, but BANDI
goes like, we're going to build one for our anime games.
It's like, yeah, that's that's probably a good idea. You
make a lot of those, you know what you need,
and you don't need a lot of the stuff that's
in unreal engines, so just make that yourself and you'll

(24:09):
probably end up saving some money, you know. But on
the other hand, it's always like it is difficult to
get teams to work on these proprietary engines because they
can be learning them, it does not transfer to the
to something like Unreal, so it's harder to get other jobs.
But that is maybe something these companies won't care about,
all right. And then finally here on this list of

(24:32):
stories we're going to talk about, Capcom apparently tried to
remake Dino Crisis, but eventually candidate this is one of
those Fuckerskagolam rumors. Yeah, but it is based on something
that I heard a couple of years ago that hey,
they're remaking Dino Crisis. And that was a couple of
years ago, and then it went silent, and then we
got Exo Primal and I'm like, was this what I
was hearing about? I don't think so, and I checked

(24:53):
and it was like, no, there was a separate Dino
crisis thing. But apparently that didn't it did not live
up to what can one and so they can that.
And that's in addition to several years before that Capcom
Vancouver when that was still a thing, also tried to
make a Dino Crisis game that got canned. So they've
done this twice now, Mike, do you what do you
think of that? And do you think they try a

(25:14):
third time at some point.

Speaker 4 (25:16):
The problem is that the expectations for a Dinal Crisis
remake are so astronomical because of the quality we generally
get from the Resident Evil remakes. Right, And they're not
about to take that team or one of those teams
to do Dino Crisis stead not yet, So you can't
have to go to a team or right, Yeah, so
you go to another team and are they going to

(25:36):
be able to match that quality? Maybe not, So it's
a difficult proposition. There's a part of me, Jeff, Then
I think we talked of before that maybe maybe it's
I know, it's kind of ways off. Maybe once you
cycle through all of these residual remakes, then you then
you have that team do Dinal Crisis and it can
be this big, awesome, expensive thing, because otherwise just hoping

(25:58):
that kind of one of your other studios or something
outside party can do it, maybe that's a difficult thing.

Speaker 2 (26:04):
Yep, Yes, exactly, And you know, and while you know,
when I was talking about this with Sean and we've thought,
we had a similar conversation a couple of weeks ago,
and we're saying, you know, they do have their core
games that they keep going back to, and that they
have a good cadence with Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, Street Fighter,
a handful of things. And you know, they tried Dragon's
Dogma and Devil May Cry and they kind of went

(26:25):
back and forth between those two and they probably might
continue doing that or letting that team try something else.
Although the leader of that team did leave to go
somewhere else. He's gone, but that team's still there and
they will continue doing something. It's like they probably do
want to try to keep adding on new pieces to
this new capcom and dinal Crisis feels like a good

(26:46):
one to like supplement what is happening with Resident Evil eventually.
But it's no, there's no rush because they still have
plenty of ground to cover with Resident Evil for the
next several years, So don't rush dinal Crisis, try to
force it in here or if it wasn't actually working out,
and if you get a team eventually that's like that
can make Dinal crisis amazing, and they don't have a

(27:07):
resident able to work oncause they've already conquered all those worlds. Well,
then at that point try again.

Speaker 4 (27:13):
Well, speaking of rush, and I don't normally I don't
get too anxious about when's the next Mega Man game coming.
There's a part of me that will be a little
salty if we got a dinal crisis something before a
new Mega Man.

Speaker 2 (27:24):
I'm sorry, Yeah, No, it does feel like they should
just give Mega Mans fans a sign of life in
the form of a game here in the next three
years or something like. Just try something again, show that
it's not all just a once once a true game
now just a mascot, which is what it's starting to
feel like. It's slipping.

Speaker 3 (27:44):
It's got compilations, yeah, berchandise, yep.

Speaker 2 (27:48):
All right, that does it for the headlines I want
to talk about. I'm sure the audience wants to talk
about a plenty of other things, though. We can do
that with the super chats, which we're going to do
right after this break. All right, we are back. Let's
do some more deciding with these super chats. Mike, please,
can you go ahead and read those for us? Okay?

Speaker 4 (28:08):
I got a butch from sign from Saskatchewan. First one here, Jeff,
why didn't you use the run button and trespasser.

Speaker 2 (28:15):
A boy? That was the worst part of that game
is how slow it was. But I mean, once you
realize it's like you are still kind of just the
speed of all the dinosaurs. So when you're in a
dangerous moment, as long as you can kind of give
them a wide berth. In a lot of situations, I
was able to get away from them. It's like, yeah,
it's slow, but it's not like the game is that big.

(28:38):
But yeah, boy, it was frustrated, Like when I was
lost and I didn't know what I was supposed to
be doing. That's when that was truly infuriating, where it's
like I just want to go check this thing over
in that building over there, and it's going to take
five minutes because I walk at the blistering speed of three.

Speaker 4 (28:53):
Simon frans Aswanso says, would you ever make someone play
a Blake Club game they've already played before Blake Club
was a thing? Jeff might need another copy of ballin
Wonderland said to him, he just got like three more.

Speaker 2 (29:04):
I think he's good. Yeah, and I think I have
like a total like six in this house now, and
that's all just the physical versions. Yeah. No, I'm gonna
say no because I don't want to play bowin Wonderworld Again.
I don't know who if I'm sure there's a special
circumstance in which this might happen.

Speaker 4 (29:20):
Simon again, do indies get a pass up bike Clips
since their lower budget? If not, you could do a
season called Blendy's. What do you think are some of
the worst indies? Yeah, it's kind it's kind of weird.
There's so many indies and there's so many kind of
like shovel wear, asset flips stuff on there that Yeah,
it's terrible. How interesting is that? For some reason, bad
eddie games just don't seem super interesting to me right now.

(29:43):
Maybe if I look deeper, i'd see something there.

Speaker 2 (29:45):
Yeah, I think it's not that they get a pass,
but it's just different because a big name game or
a big name company putting out something that is bad
is inherently interesting because it's like, well, they had a
lot of money and a lot of resources. What happened here?
For an indie game, it's like, yeah, they just struggle
to put something together, but no, we'll definitely do so

(30:07):
excuse me, Like with the Steam Slop, we'll get around
to some of that stuff for probably for a special segment.

Speaker 4 (30:11):
At some point he asked me, like, what's the worst
indie game? I know there's like really disappointing ones like
Sports Story.

Speaker 2 (30:17):
Right, yeah, right, exactly, and that Sports Story would just
be kind of a bummer to play. It's not talking, yeah,
and it's just like they're bad in that kind of
way where it's like, oh, this just didn't come together.
They just missed the mark, whereas a bad game from
a big company just always feels like a catastrophe in
a fun way.

Speaker 3 (30:36):
I guess it's Mighty number nine an indie game.

Speaker 4 (30:39):
I don't know, boy, I thought I was getting that
for a bit there, I thought I was getting that one.

Speaker 3 (30:42):
Yeah, give it time, give me virtual highlight. I'll suck
that baby up.

Speaker 4 (30:47):
And then Simon says, sorry, Jeff Micah Parson's a pack art,
go pack go.

Speaker 2 (30:52):
Yeah. I mean, good luck you guys. You haven't beat
the Lions in a long time. So yeah, the profound
that's when it's football starting.

Speaker 3 (31:00):
I'll be soon. What's the what's the first.

Speaker 2 (31:01):
Day college football starts this weekend, So does the NFL
start next week? I think the NFL starts next weekend.

Speaker 3 (31:07):
All right, oh, next Thursday, probably.

Speaker 4 (31:10):
Blade Runner says, is the Halopano the George Washington of
peppers also has a pokemon evolution In terms of Chipotle,
we don't talk about that enough. Yeah, gosh, Hallepeno. If
you told somebody to draw a cartoon pepper, they're gonna
draw Hall of Panio, Right, yeah, I think so pepper. Yeah,
maybe what's the world Who's the whitest president? Is it Jefferson?

Speaker 2 (31:31):
Is he? Because is that what the bell pepper is? Yeah? Okay,
the whitest president on on Mount Rushmore?

Speaker 4 (31:40):
Yeah, that's probably what's the whitest pepper? Yeah yeah. And
then Hobbin Arrows. They really had a big moment there, Hobbinaro.

Speaker 2 (31:47):
Yeah. I think ghost peppers too. It too popular right now.

Speaker 3 (31:52):
They already made something like spicier than the ghost pepper, right.

Speaker 2 (31:55):
They definitely have. Yeah, yeah, that's a whole.

Speaker 3 (31:58):
Haben Arrows Hallos, Bell peppers.

Speaker 2 (32:02):
God, what's the banana pepper?

Speaker 3 (32:05):
Hmm?

Speaker 4 (32:06):
Carolina reaper banana pepper. Gosh, maybe it's just just.

Speaker 2 (32:12):
Just chili pepper. The Chili's pepper is the thing you
would draw and isn't that chili pepper kind of just
a I don't know Blano pepper.

Speaker 4 (32:20):
Well, I do like a I like a Pleblano. Yeah,
Blano fan, they will go there, you know, well, I
want to let them fight it out for number four.

Speaker 2 (32:27):
There sounds good.

Speaker 4 (32:29):
Next EPs from Minati's Fruit Emporium. Here at Minati's Fruit Emporium,
we would like to recognize our new employee of the
week and Jeff Grubb. Amazing work on your Black Club game.
Enjoy watching your coworkers suffer for the next few weeks.

Speaker 2 (32:43):
It could be how how what?

Speaker 3 (32:44):
What was the how long the beat situation on Virtual Highlight?

Speaker 2 (32:49):
It's not long. I think it's like four hours or
something like that.

Speaker 4 (32:52):
This is like really one of those you could get
lost and not know what to do games. And it's
randomly generated too, so yeah, there could be some wanderings.

Speaker 2 (33:01):
I think it's gonna be two episodes for you, though.
I got saying that that's it and you're and you're
gonna welcome that because your costume, so yeah, yeah, what
the what? What night?

Speaker 4 (33:13):
Bullshit on my way because I've seen the from what
I remember the best costume this game. It basically looked
like he was wearing.

Speaker 2 (33:23):
Like like like.

Speaker 3 (33:26):
A tinfoil made sheet metal kind of something you would
cook a roast turkey.

Speaker 2 (33:33):
And I don't know, it's not if you're gonna we're
we're a real company. We're gonna do better than that,
don't you worry?

Speaker 4 (33:41):
Yeah, Blade Runner says Jeff Gertzman. Would have pet the Dog.

Speaker 2 (33:44):
Oh yes, definitely on a PS five pro.

Speaker 4 (33:49):
Big frustraty sentence says sorry that Kirby didn't work online,
but you know it does.

Speaker 3 (33:52):
Captain Toad and we.

Speaker 2 (33:54):
Do we should still play Captain Toad co up at some.

Speaker 4 (33:56):
Point, David Aladlow says, Dooby, there's that again?

Speaker 3 (34:01):
What's Abby?

Speaker 2 (34:01):
Doobie? Didn't we we figured it out last time, right?
I immediately forgot Yeah, I forgot to. I don't remember anything,
and I'm gonna google it again. I don't think it's
it won't help. Here's a short guy for how to
mod RoboCop ropes. Okay, I don't know what that is.

Speaker 4 (34:16):
It that SNL Adam Sandler, Abbidoby maybe like the back
of the boat.

Speaker 3 (34:20):
Yeah, it's SNL. Celebrity Jeopardy Okay, there we go.

Speaker 4 (34:24):
Uh my nice fort of points says, I will stop
this gag and change my name if this bothers. Mike,
we love you boys down here at man Iceford and Point.
Keep it the great work, Grape. Now, hey, look, you
do whatever you want. You're sending him money. You do
whatever you want to do. I can take it, don't worry.

Speaker 2 (34:39):
Yeah, he's a big boy. Yeah, tried to.

Speaker 4 (34:41):
Wolf says, I just beat Boser too, and conference will take.
I like it more than the first game. The compass
much better and the story is really underrated. This take
is becoming more and more common, really common. If you
would ask somebody, like a month out there, if it
came out, everybody like, well, of course BioShock two is
the last one. Now it's often number two the time,
number one. So yeah, BioShock two has been doing pretty

(35:04):
well in the long run.

Speaker 2 (35:06):
Did you play My Nervous Den that?

Speaker 3 (35:09):
Oh me, I haven't.

Speaker 2 (35:12):
I always meant to so you. It's one of those
DLCs that was like so lauded at the time, And
that's the thing where it's like always like oh, it's
the people who played Mi Nervous Den were like, no,
this is actually the best BioShock, But now I'm starting
to hear that for Vanilla BioShock two, so yeah, weird.

Speaker 3 (35:27):
I mean I always liked Vanilla BioShock too. I think
at the time.

Speaker 4 (35:29):
It's just like I think we all knew, like the
actually like the the real biosarc I think was taking
the rail sequel and we all came right.

Speaker 2 (35:36):
That's like poison things, yeah, for sure. Uh.

Speaker 4 (35:40):
Next up is from Mafugli. What game is your head
and gym of the year so far? In mine is Oh,
it's it's it's an uh and I'm not.

Speaker 2 (35:50):
Right. So I know about this game because someone said
that the name the O with the umlaut, so it's
got the two dots above it, and then the two
others smaller o's is what the main character looks like.
Because the main character is like a little caterpillar sort
of guy, and he's got too intenna on his big head,
so the OOO is supposed to be his body and

(36:11):
the first one's head with the antenna.

Speaker 4 (36:13):
Okay, puzzle apparently it's like a metro vinga puzzle platform
or kind of thing.

Speaker 3 (36:17):
Looks kind of cute, thinks about it. I guess the game.

Speaker 4 (36:21):
I like the most year I haven't hear that many
people talk about is two point Museum, which you know,
it just has kind of a different audience than I think,
you know, the usual for our our audience and my peers.
But boy, I like that game a lot, and I'm
still thinking back Quay. But they added a you can
you can build a retro arcade into your museums. Now,
oh really, I hopeless. I'm testing the waters for a
two point arcade, which I think idea for another game.

Speaker 2 (36:45):
Have they done two point theme Park yet?

Speaker 1 (36:48):
No?

Speaker 4 (36:49):
Part of me is like, I don't even know if
I need them to do. I bet they'd have a
fun spin on it. But Planet Coaster is I don't
even I don't even know if.

Speaker 2 (36:55):
I want him to do a coaster park, and I
want them to just like theme park and like get
weird with that other kinds of theming.

Speaker 4 (37:01):
Now, you're right, because Saint Park was definitely more about like, yeah,
the management stuff and was less about designing coasters. You
did do that, but that wasn't the whole thing there.
Now there's been a two point hospital, two point campus,
and that two point Musium.

Speaker 2 (37:16):
Was it my favorite hitting gym of the year. Wordplay.
That's one that doesn't get talked about too much, and
it's a decent one of those Bilacchra likes.

Speaker 4 (37:24):
Biostock two is multiplayers made by digital extremes. That's incredible.
That's weird, okay, uh true. Fernie did a one hundred
mile bike race last weekend and listen to you all
for most of it. Thank you for the company. You
are my favorite couple in gaming. Pspjia, thank you so.

Speaker 2 (37:41):
Much for hanging out with us on your long Ride'nie.

Speaker 1 (37:44):
That's a strong war.

Speaker 3 (37:45):
That's a spicy meat the ball spicy.

Speaker 1 (37:48):
That is That is like saying like cock, but like
it's more like more aggressive.

Speaker 3 (37:54):
Oh it's an actual word. Oh yea blessing so much.

Speaker 2 (37:58):
I dropped a chip. I hate that vamp.

Speaker 3 (38:00):
I want to find this chip.

Speaker 4 (38:01):
Okay, yeah, sure so, our friend Micha wants me to.
They're so so far away. I see another chip I
lost to back there. I'll get them some other time.
Spikey Nds says Switch to decade theory. Nintendo wants to
support Switch one as their fifty to sixty dollars game
system and Switch to as the seventy to eighty dollars
system so they can fill their previous handheld spot.

Speaker 2 (38:22):
Yeah, I mean, I do get the sense that there's
like some strategy that Nintendo has in its head with
this and it differently. This is probably along the correct
way of thinking. I just don't know if it's exactly right,
and it's like I don't know. There are gonna be
plenty of studios who continue to put out games for
the switch one because there has one hundred and fifty

(38:44):
million people on it so and and those games work
on switch to So if you don't need the switch
to's extra power, it just makes a lot of sense.
So I don't get Nintendo trying to manipulate their way
into getny more of those.

Speaker 4 (38:55):
It's weird and address wait and Dresser three of five
Miami says, first, y'all give War World five stars? Okay,
I want to be clarify something here. I have never
rated War of the World. I just said I enjoyed it.
Who gave it five stars? Dan Grubb says that Donald

(39:15):
Crisis remake is canceled. It truly is the end of days.
Thank you guys for making every day better in the
shitty times. Baba Buie welcome.

Speaker 2 (39:25):
Yeah, we'll do our best. I'm sorry about the bad news,
but I'm not sorry about giving War the world's five stars. Christian,
I'll put it again every.

Speaker 1 (39:32):
Day, you fucking criminal.

Speaker 2 (39:34):
I'll do it every day.

Speaker 4 (39:35):
Matt rare Monkey says Uma is a good game. Also
for hitting Jam of the Year from me, so of arts,
face Minder. I didn't say Uma is not a good game.
I'm just saying, don't if all.

Speaker 1 (39:46):
This about person, that's what you're saying.

Speaker 4 (39:48):
I'm saying, it's not a real game. No, just you know,
don't come at in metroid vane. Yes, if that's what you.

Speaker 2 (39:55):
Enjoy, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (39:56):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (39:57):
That's all. And then what's what's face Minor? I was
about to look at what is face Minor?

Speaker 3 (40:02):
I don't know, face Minor.

Speaker 2 (40:04):
You don't get caught up and oh, it's just like one.
It's just that. Uh okay, build a biometric data harvesting
Empire from scratch and face Miner, the hardcore thriller Clickers
set in nineteen ninety nine, as well as the.

Speaker 3 (40:14):
Windows ninety eight games like right, yeah, yeah it is
absolutely okay. Yeah, I'll try this. Looks cool.

Speaker 4 (40:21):
H p Pit says update from from Tuesday about Star Citizen.
It's actually in a decent playable state now getting better.
Highly recommend watching the Squadron forty two. Don't Yeah we
you asked about that on Tuesday. Yes, and yeah, I
think the game is pretty decently along somehow.

Speaker 3 (40:36):
So yeah, there it is.

Speaker 2 (40:37):
Well they only have like two billion dollars.

Speaker 4 (40:39):
M lazy Stecasaurus says, Parsons to the pack King of
the North Lions. Window closing fast, go pack go.

Speaker 2 (40:50):
I mean I won't disagree with with the wind. Yeah,
the window is always closing fast. It's the NFL, that's
how it works. Well, let's see what happens this season.

Speaker 3 (40:58):
Eh, Bruce, this is very off topic.

Speaker 4 (40:59):
What are they going to do with GTA online with
six It seems like a lot to move the huge
player count with the current online pen is.

Speaker 2 (41:08):
Yeah, I really don't know. They have not said a
single thing about it, and it's like that is the
biggest honestly, it's the biggest question in gaming right now.
What the fuck is gt A Online two? Is there
even a g t A Online two? Is it gt
online two point zero? Probably not, but I mean they
haven't said anything about it. Are included in the package,

(41:31):
is it? Oh yeah, yeah, role playing will definitely factor
into it heavily. Yeah. Absolutely, they bought that thing, so yeah,
I don't know. I really do not know what to
expect from that in any way. Uh doesn't feel like
there's any good answer there, because no matter what, I bet,
there's gonna be people who are unhappy with what they
decide to do with GT Online two and the.

Speaker 4 (41:53):
Blade brand says, oh shit, I forgot. There's been a
big development in the fake cheese world. Those rits spicy
cheese sandwich crackers are amazing.

Speaker 2 (42:03):
That sounds pretty good. I can't eat that cheese er.
I'll die, Not really, but I'm allergic to it. All right.

Speaker 4 (42:09):
Thank you Blade Runner for the cheese updates. Appreciate fake
Cheese up They appreciate it.

Speaker 3 (42:12):
Jeff.

Speaker 4 (42:12):
That's it for the superchats for now, everybody. If you
want to send any more super chats, we will read
them before the end of the show. Thank you so
much for your support. Appreciate it.

Speaker 2 (42:19):
Yep, thanks for listening, Thanks for hanging out with us.
Thanks for your support through superchats. Any way that you
support us, telling a friend all that stuff is great.
We appreciate it. We'll read the rest, as Mike said
before the end, if we get anymore. All right, let's
take another break. We got to get set up for
our game this week, which is us going into a
draft and we're gonna make the best middle Gearer game

(42:40):
that we possibly can. We'll get into that right after this.
All right, we're back Mike Vnati. We are going to
draft a middle Gear game. This is when you and
I take turns drafting different pieces of a video game
to build the ultimate version of that video game. This
time it is for metal Gear. There are some rules here.

(43:03):
I'll read them real quick and then we'll get into it.
So this is the tactical drafting action metal Gear Draft
created by Joys. Thank you so much, Joys. Pick a
name for your metal Gear Solid game and write them
in the white boxes to the left and right. Take
turns buying parts for your game. The person who most
recently did something sneaky goes first. After round one, whoever
currently has the lowest budget, buys first. If tied, the

(43:26):
person who bought second last round byes first. Once the
part is bought, it cannot be bought by the other player.
If you run out of budget, you must buy the
one dollar option and go negative. If both players run
out of budget, both can purchase it. Okay, So, Mike,
I think you know. I'll let you say. Did you
have you done anything sneaky recently?

Speaker 3 (43:49):
Boy, I'm not a particularly sneaky person. Honestly, I'm kind
of loud and lumbering.

Speaker 2 (43:55):
You also live by yourself. I last night made some
ramin for myself and I didn't want anyone to know
about it, so I did it quietly. And I think that.

Speaker 3 (44:04):
You got this for sure.

Speaker 2 (44:05):
Okay, all right, I'll go first, and my name is
Let's see here?

Speaker 3 (44:09):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (44:10):
Okay, I would be sending this video to chef wives.

Speaker 2 (44:14):
Sure can I? No? No, don't, please don't. Why won't
let me type in this box? Is it it's view only? Okay?
Request edit access? Oh, let's see here. Okay, Now I
could request this from Christian. So I'm requesting Christian.

but you have the create a copy.

Speaker 1 (44:40):
You got the link from the No, you have.

Speaker 2 (44:42):
You got the link from the thing. I'm just gonna
create from the rundown from the Rundown, says Christians in
charge of it. All right, let's see here, sorry my
box now I made a copy.

Speaker 3 (44:56):
Phil to the copy please, Oh yeah, sure, okay, ship.

Speaker 1 (45:02):
I said myself out, bye bye, everybody.

Speaker 4 (45:05):
Get away, I mean I do. I guess I don't
speak for Jeffy. He was pretty mad.

Speaker 2 (45:09):
I'm curious. Let's think all right.

Speaker 1 (45:13):
Oh on YouTube crush, everything is following about everybody all
at once. Life is a lie o.

Speaker 2 (45:24):
Insinging it to your email. I just Gmail, It's just
little Olympics. Okay. My game's name is middle Gear solid
but extra stupid this time?

Speaker 1 (45:44):
Is that even?

Speaker 2 (45:46):
Yeah, we'll find out you're like you emailed it to me.
I emailed it to you, yes, because you're you're you're
shipping Discord never works, so I never know. But to
me there it is to your face and people like.

Speaker 3 (46:02):
Emailed it.

Speaker 2 (46:03):
See seventy five years old. I use the email, all right.
You don't want to snail bill it, you can get
let me. Let me write it down one character at
a time on this piece of notepaper and send that
to you. Mike, what's your fucking game name? I'm not
allowed to write in this okay request, Oh my fresh,

(46:32):
maybe it should work, loud. I can't believe how bad
you are all at this.

Speaker 1 (46:38):
It's funny, but now I don't have a copy to like, Eh,
take this cretia for the thing.

Speaker 2 (46:44):
I'll send its working? Yeah, all right, hang out it. Okay,
you got to press enter to like make your name
appear or whatever. Let's see here. I think I got it.
I'm sending it to your to your game mess email. Yes,
also I am emailing you metal Gear Sonic. Okay, that's fantastic.

(47:06):
All right, let's get to the first round here. Our
first round is leading man, Mike. You want to read
it for everybody? Can you see everything? All right?

Speaker 3 (47:13):
Absolutely?

Speaker 4 (47:14):
So for our leading man, we could spend one dollar
to get rid In, two dollars to get old Snake,
three dollars for Venom Snake, four dollars from Naked Snake,
and five dollars for a solid snake.

Speaker 2 (47:27):
Okay, I I am going first, and I do want
to save my money because our budget looks pretty limited.
We only have twenty eight dollars each. That's just not
a lot, Mike. But I do think having solid Snake
will make a difference as someone who's not played all
those other ones that don't have Solid Snake necessarily, So
maybe I'm wrong, and I think i'm player two right,
So I am going to select Solid Snake four five dollars.

(47:51):
That leaves me with twenty three dollars. I don't feel
good about that, but I feel like I have to
do this, Mike, what are you thinking?

Speaker 4 (47:57):
Yeah, I mean, look, Salt Snake is just the best
one character. Absolutely. I think I might need to get
the fastest character here. And I think all these other
guys are too old and smoke too much, right, They
just they have absolutely no endurance and they.

Speaker 2 (48:11):
Stupid human legs.

Speaker 3 (48:12):
Yeah, yeah, they can't do short distance when I can't
do the long distance riding. Who's a cyborg and young?

Speaker 1 (48:18):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (48:18):
Probably pretty fast? Yes, and cheap, So let's get let's
get rid and sure, all right, that's I think that
was the right move there, Mike. I'm happy with my pick.
I think you had the right counterpick there.

Speaker 4 (48:27):
It's good for metal Gear Sonic. I did say the
name of my game. I think you just write it last.
It's metal Gear Sonic. Yes, he's going for Metal Gear Sonic.

Speaker 2 (48:34):
Everybody instead of middle your Solid you see co star, Mike,
what do we have here for.

Speaker 3 (48:39):
Your co stars? For one doll you can get audit con.

Speaker 4 (48:42):
For two dollars, you get Cyborg, right and okay, I
guess I got mostly humim and righted number three, Iroquois
plus skin number four, d Dog number five, major ocealot.

Speaker 2 (48:55):
Yeah, I'm this is what. I'm not sure how much
any of this moves the needle. And again my familiarity
with with Metal Gear fans and what they're like, what
they prioriti should have an adventure. I've actually played all
these games. Yeah, right, exactly. You know what people really
are into as well. You did a whole like plink
Plinkett Plinkett style video for Metal Gear Solid two. You
really know this ship.

Speaker 1 (49:16):
So yeah, he knows this ship, even though he should
say I only have mostly Cyborg. Uh well, you everybody
knows that he wasn't on Tyber a roll on the.

Speaker 2 (49:30):
I didn't know that, all right, So let's go with uh,
I don't know Cyborg riding for two dollars, I like
autocon though, I'll go Cyborg, right, and I feel like
that undoes some of your years there. It feels like
the right counterpick.

Speaker 3 (49:46):
Yeah, who has the most tails energy?

Speaker 2 (49:48):
Is my shit?

Speaker 3 (49:50):
Is my question here? I don't think it's oslater Airquoid pluskin.
There's a there's a fucking dog here, Yeah, it's dog
or Autocon.

Speaker 2 (49:59):
It's like a human miles per hour. Yeah, I'll tell
you what to I like audit Cod.

Speaker 4 (50:05):
Every time I replay Mkers saw It, I intentionally give
up during the interrogation so that I can end the
game with Autocon.

Speaker 3 (50:11):
It's instead of instead of that hussy Meryl. So yeah,
I think I'm getting what I went for pretty cheap
so far. But yeah with audit Cod.

Speaker 2 (50:21):
You know again, I think that's the move. I love
Autocon but we'll see, all right.

Speaker 4 (50:26):
Oh, like a top tier video games sidekick. I would
say the best moment of Microsoft two is when Sawid
Snake and Autocod Douler's secret best best friend handshake.

Speaker 2 (50:36):
It's all right, fim fatal. This is our third round, Mike.
What do we have here?

Speaker 4 (50:43):
Alrighty, We've got for one dollar, Emma Emmerick for two
dollars and Naomi Hunter for number three, Merril silver bro Silverberg.

Speaker 2 (50:51):
Yeah, I just call him Merril.

Speaker 4 (50:52):
Number four, number four for four dollars, Quiet and for
five dollars.

Speaker 2 (50:58):
Eva. Uh all right, so I have twenty one dollars,
you have twenty six dollars. So I'm still going first.
Uh yeah, I mean I'm gonna go with the one
that is that I recognize and is also the cheapest,
and also one that I like a lot. She's got
that scene where he looks at her butt, right, that
was Meryll, I believe. So I'm gonna I'm gonna, yeah,

(51:18):
Meryl Silverberg is gonna join my team over here.

Speaker 4 (51:22):
Yeah, that's a good pick. I still like Meryl quite
a lot. I thought she was really fun and mail
yourself one.

Speaker 3 (51:28):
Uh okay, who's the most Who's not not Amy coded?

Speaker 2 (51:34):
Because that no, it was Amy coated human girl that
would kiss Sonic. Well, I was thinking Ruge the Bat
and if that's the case, that absolutely we're taking quiet.

Speaker 3 (51:47):
So you know what, I think, I was.

Speaker 2 (51:49):
Thinking a us even very Rouge the Bat coded as well.

Speaker 3 (51:54):
You know what personality? Why she is you're helping me?
That's right.

Speaker 4 (51:58):
She basically has the same exact personality as Ruts now
that I think about it. Her breast aren't as large though,
that's right, and that's a huge trailing of her character.

Speaker 3 (52:09):
Well, in terms of being closer to Ruse, we'll take
ave I quite actually quite actually weirds me out a
little bit. It's too much. Just looking at this, I
feel a bit. Indeed, you will regret your worst indeed.

Speaker 2 (52:23):
Huh did you do it? Mike? Did you click it?
My shirt? Did?

Speaker 3 (52:27):
Buddy?

Speaker 2 (52:27):
Oh, it does it. It's not updating here, so I'm
going to do it for you as well. Oh nope,
it's not doing anything. Refresher refreshing, then can't seeing your changes? Okay,
well that that explains it. We try to refresh it
and see if that fixes it. That was my idea. Oh,
it's because it logged me out. Sweet my password? Everybody?
I love Google web services are just the best. All right,

(52:50):
give me a second here. It's good that people will
give us a lot of leeway on this one. I
think kind of it being our first episode ever. Yeah, yeah,
Google saw quiet. It was like, what are you doing here? Buddy?
All right? I got to look up my password? Hang on,
so vamped for me this time? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (53:08):
Alright, Yeah, it's like that, Mike. Did you know that rating?
Wasn't it's how we're on?

Speaker 2 (53:13):
Yeah, I was embarrassing.

Speaker 4 (53:15):
I'll tell you what, Emma Emeric is the worst one
dollar choice I think I've ever seen.

Speaker 3 (53:19):
In these.

Speaker 2 (53:22):
Sorry, I'm absolutely not space.

Speaker 4 (53:28):
It was done like I don't know, Paz or something.
But then I get weird out thinking about what they
did to her.

Speaker 2 (53:35):
All Right, we're back, right, we are, Yeah, we're back,
and I think we are still looking good in terms
of the game being all set up correctly. Man in
the chair, Mike, go ahead and read what we have here,
all right?

Speaker 3 (53:45):
For one dollar, you can get the kernel for two dollars,
how Emeric for three dollars, Awes a lot for four
dollars zero, and for five dollars Roy Campbell all rights
or people are confused.

Speaker 4 (54:01):
For one dollar, it's the kernel Formulgar SAUA two for
five dollars Roy Campbell from Medlegar solid.

Speaker 3 (54:05):
There is a difference.

Speaker 2 (54:08):
All right, So you have twenty one, I've eighteen. I'm
still going first. We're only on round four. There is
a lot going on here. I want to I'm getting
sent is there a chance like one of these? Because
he's the Joys, He's done some interesting stuff recently. We
got curse. I wonder there's gonna be a chance to
like win money back at some point, but I'm not
gonna count. I'm not going to count on that, and
I am just gonna save money, and I'm gonna go

(54:31):
with the Colonel because I I just don't know if
that's gonna make much of a difference. I look, I
would like to spend money on Ocelot, I think, but
I'm gonna save my money and hope that I can
make a bigger impact with this money later. So I'm
going one dollar the Kernel from Middle middle Gear Solid two.

Speaker 4 (54:46):
Okay, yeah, not bad. It's a little weird. If I
have how Emeric and Odacon, that's the same person U.
Ocel Lot is good, so we get this is specifically
the MOGA Solid five version of Oslot.

Speaker 3 (55:01):
He's oddly boring and chill in that game. He doesn't
have much of a personality. It's very strange.

Speaker 4 (55:07):
So I don't know zero what what who's the most
who's the most nuckles coded? I guess maybe it is all.
I think it's Ocelot. Yeah, yeah, maybe I take because yeah,
maybe I take Oscelot just because of his knuckles and this.

Speaker 2 (55:22):
Because I don't know.

Speaker 4 (55:23):
Roy Campbell's too expensive, it's just too somewhere to your
zero I like, I like OSLERA doesn't remind me of
any Sonic characters. Huge failing, We'll go with Oslo. Maybe
I should have taken zero just to match you in
terms of price. Finally, that's okay. Right now, I've eighteen
dollars left. You have seventeen dollars left. You still get
to go first.

Speaker 2 (55:42):
All right, it looks like we do have a bonus
around here. Let's see how this is gonna work. So
VR training choose one piece of equipment to receive VR
training with.

Speaker 3 (55:50):
For free.

Speaker 2 (55:51):
Player who most recently used a VR headset picks first man.
I used to VR headset within the last week.

Speaker 3 (55:58):
Well I'm foot.

Speaker 2 (56:02):
All right, let's see here. Okay, look at that for
the bandana, I get five dollars. Stealth camouflage one and
two dollar options are now free pack of cigarettes. You
can look all future numbered tabs or yeah, you can
look all future I not tab in or past or
any past ten. Hey, you could get future categories ahead

(56:22):
of time. Okay, Gentlemen's magazine, you can always choose to
draft first man or Solution radar no obvious use yet.
I think it's Soloton radar not to yeh know, it's fine.
You're right, there is no t io n Yeah, Soloton
radar is what that word just says. Note the bandana
and stealth camera will be applied automatically, others must be

(56:43):
used manually. Okay, so that that makes sense, boy bandana.
I would like to just have five dollars, Like I
don't have that five dollars and be nice to just
have that five dollars. You know, the one two options
are now free will add up, But like I like
to have the option that five dollars gives me. Let's see,

(57:06):
do any of these other ones? Like if soloton radar
gonna really pay off later? Is it gonna make a
huge difference in the end. I don't know. I don't
know what it is. I feel like I gotta go
with you got I'm gonna go with the five dollars.

Speaker 3 (57:21):
Okay, party was gonna think about Genmal's magazine. But now
you have so much more money than me, maybe I
might want to you know what I mean, somebody's got
to see what the Souloton radar is gonna do, right,
Someone's gotta see.

Speaker 2 (57:32):
I would choose the soloton radar and just kind of
like it's a big gamble, but I bet it. I
bet it pays off.

Speaker 4 (57:38):
It's very good in the video games of Metal Gear Solids.
So yeah, I'll take the Sultan Radar.

Speaker 2 (57:43):
All right, there we go. Okay, that means now we
are finally getting on to round five, which is the
enemy unit. Mike, what do we have for enemy unit? Right?

Speaker 3 (57:52):
Mean?

Speaker 2 (57:53):
Units?

Speaker 4 (57:53):
You have for one dollar the parasite unit from Megarsaw
five we all remember them. For number two, that being
the student from Ugar Salad four for three dollars, the
dead Cell from Mogar Slid two. For four dollars, you
got Cobra unit from Ugar Salad three, and for five
dollars Foxhound from Molgar Salid. Okay, perfectly priced out, by

(58:14):
the way, Very well done, here, joy.

Speaker 2 (58:15):
Z your first Mike eighteen versus twenty two? Yeah again?

Speaker 4 (58:20):
Which one Morossa reminds me of a sonic the Hedgehog
staple of villains.

Speaker 2 (58:26):
God, it might be dead Cell.

Speaker 4 (58:27):
I mean they have a guy there called Fatman who
basically looks like doctor Robotnik. Yeah, that's doctor Robotnick right there.
They do just have a Doctor Robotnik. So I mean
Cobra unit, Foxhunt are just better. Fox Hunt is very good.
I feel like you're probably gonna take fox On because
it's great and it'll be a smart thing to do.
So I could either just stop you and that's a
lot of money, and I'm like you, I didn't get

(58:48):
for free five dollars.

Speaker 3 (58:49):
I'm not being able to scord Fox On right now.
I think I'll just go with Dead Cell.

Speaker 2 (58:54):
Yeah. I was going to go with Fox Sound. They're
just the best and very cool and super memorable and
I love them, and uh yeah, I'm gonna add there,
you know, not I was gonna say, none of this
is really I have to be in metal gear but
extra stupid. But yes it is because it's metal gear.
So yeah, that part's automatic. Don't worry about this part's odd.
We'll see how much my my gimmick theme helps me

(59:14):
out here. Yeah right, it's I'm entertained right now. But
I think we found out, like by the time the
voting happens, how much does that really matter? I have
no idea.

Speaker 4 (59:22):
It helps the people who are watching this and we
go on like blue Sky and people know contract Yeah
not as much.

Speaker 2 (59:27):
Yeah, all right, let's go to round six. This time
we're picking our boss. Who's going to be the boss?
Everybody and Mike. We have a bunch of options here,
go ahead and read them off.

Speaker 4 (59:37):
For one doll you can get the Man on Fire
for two dollars, Vulgan for three dollars, Vamp for four dollars,
Olga grow Ukovic, go Locolukovic for five dollars. Ko Yeah,
Gray Fox.

Speaker 2 (59:53):
You go first. You have fifteen dollars. I have seventeen.

Speaker 4 (59:56):
Yeah, here's what my thing. Fox is the best. Yeah,
and he's a fox like tails?

Speaker 2 (01:00:05):
Right, So it is this your evil? His tail has
ever been evil in the game?

Speaker 1 (01:00:08):
I just know.

Speaker 2 (01:00:10):
Is it metal metal? Is there a metal Tales like
Metal Sonic or whatever?

Speaker 4 (01:00:13):
I mean, there is is like a sidecare of things
I think. I just think there's two good upsides in
Great Fox. I mean, i'll tell you what I think.
This one's actually a pretty big difference. I mean, there's Okay,
Man a Fire, Oh God, don't do much. Vamp I
don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:00:28):
Uh, it's funny how he's named Vamp because he's bisexual.

Speaker 2 (01:00:31):
Apparently.

Speaker 4 (01:00:32):
Yeah, it's expensive. Yeah, this might be my last five dollars,
but I'm gonna take Great Fox.

Speaker 2 (01:00:40):
Yeah, I think Great Fox is the obvious go to here.
It's so shadow coded. Yeah, yeah, there you go. Uh okay,
I do think that I will go with I'll go
with Vamp.

Speaker 3 (01:00:55):
You would.

Speaker 2 (01:00:56):
Yeah, that's that's it's that is extra stupid. Let's go.
I like it. You're right, all right? Round seven? Who's
are on? Seven? Boss?

Speaker 3 (01:01:06):
Okay? So yeah, here's our final boss here. I have
ten dollars, you have fourteen for one?

Speaker 4 (01:01:10):
Do you get Skullface for two dollars, Solidest Snake for
three dollars, the Boss for four dollars. Liquid also had
for five dollars Liquid Snake. Okay, God, liqu Stick is great.
I just don't really think I can after spending five
dollars last one, I don't know if I can do
it justify another five dollars.

Speaker 2 (01:01:28):
That's a lot. That is a ton.

Speaker 4 (01:01:32):
Skallface weirds me out because of the things he did
in Ground Zeros.

Speaker 3 (01:01:36):
It's not tell you what.

Speaker 4 (01:01:37):
I'm not kid friendly for my nice sonic the Hedgehog
game Liquid acelent eh Between the Boss or Solidest Snake.

Speaker 2 (01:01:49):
Which one is more dollar? Man? I got it. I
know this is easy.

Speaker 4 (01:01:52):
Solid As Snake was the President of the United States
who is also a character in Sonic Adventure two.

Speaker 3 (01:02:01):
So this this choice was actually made for.

Speaker 2 (01:02:04):
Me, right all right? Yeah, very easy? Uh yeah, I'll
use my extra cash here, like, I still want to
save some but no liquid Snake is that awesome, So
I'll go with liquid Snake. All right, three rounds left here.
We are now on round eight. Metal Gear Mike, what

(01:02:24):
do we have? All right?

Speaker 4 (01:02:26):
We have four one dollars to get go Microsoft, four
for two dollars, Shago Hod for three dollars to Silanthropiss,
Microsoft five for two doors, molt Gear, Ray and for
five dollars Metal Gear Rex.

Speaker 2 (01:02:42):
Mike has eight. I have nine. Mike's going first, Let's
see where he goes with his pick.

Speaker 3 (01:02:48):
Boy. Ray and Rex are so much core than the
other ones.

Speaker 2 (01:02:52):
Uh huh.

Speaker 3 (01:02:56):
I'll tell you what.

Speaker 4 (01:02:57):
Ray looks the most sonic, the hedgehot coated for like,
he could absolutely be a boss a Sonic Adventure.

Speaker 2 (01:03:02):
I'm pretty sure I saw Ray and Sonic Frontiers.

Speaker 4 (01:03:05):
I think I've seen it, So I like Rex see
a little bit more, but it's a little bit more expensive.
There's still a couple of rounds left, and I've got
to get some cheap options going forward. I'm a little
screwed here. Hopefully my Soloiton Radhar comes into effect. We'll see,
but yeah, I think I gotta have Ray.

Speaker 2 (01:03:22):
Yeah, I this is this is tough because I'm I
am at a point where it's like, do I want
to try to because I do think like Gecko is
stupid and like that would be fun for my extra
stupid metal gear. But I might that ship might have sailed.
I might have to just like make a good metal
gear game and throw the stupid on top in some
different way. And I do have enough money for now,

(01:03:46):
and it's like it's not like I'll be far behind you.
You will both have four dollars. So I'm gonna go
with Rex. I just think Rex is too cool to
pass up. Do we skip this?

Speaker 1 (01:03:55):
Yeah? Shift yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:03:58):
Oh my bad, Okay, Okay, let's we'll just see what
happens if we do it this way. Sneaking mission choose
a box to hide it end. Player who most recently
held a cardboard box goes first. If you have the
SoLIT on Radar, that player secretly views the box tab
below before either player picks.

Speaker 3 (01:04:16):
Oh, this is where it comes in.

Speaker 2 (01:04:17):
Yeah, all right, so Mike, I think you can look
at each of those things to see what's in there.
Do you want to like click on each one and
like make a grunting sound.

Speaker 1 (01:04:25):
No no, no, no, no, no no no, Mike. Look
look at the tabs. There's one that says box. You
can click on that.

Speaker 3 (01:04:31):
Okay, that's how this works. I see okay, wait, okay, okay, So.

Speaker 2 (01:04:40):
If okay, should I close my eyes and click on
box so people can see what Mike seeing? Why might
get to go first? Now?

Speaker 3 (01:04:46):
Wait a second?

Speaker 2 (01:04:48):
Yeah, well when did you last hold a cardboard box?

Speaker 3 (01:04:51):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (01:04:51):
Right, I hold a cardboard box today when I got
the the Amazon packages off the porch. But that was yeah,
go ahead.

Speaker 4 (01:05:00):
My crones Medicine Scott Rizzy came in today and I
was handling that cardboard box and that's was the ground.

Speaker 2 (01:05:05):
I got mine at like right after gmm, so it
would have been around me. Oh and I was like
at three, idiot. Fuck? All right, fine, all right, you
get to go first. And I was gonna say, like,
I can like close my eyes and click on this
box thing, and you can so everyone can see what
you're seeing. You've already seen though, you already know what's
in there. You're good well, I.

Speaker 4 (01:05:23):
Get to pick I also get to pick two boxes
to have the Solotan, So this is very good.

Speaker 3 (01:05:28):
Alright, I'm going to what.

Speaker 2 (01:05:29):
It means if you have the Sultan Radar, the player
views the box tab below before either player picks. Why
do you get to pick two?

Speaker 3 (01:05:35):
Uh?

Speaker 4 (01:05:36):
See, your Sultan Radar allows you to pick first override
in the magazine. You also get to pick two boxes,
both before the other player.

Speaker 3 (01:05:43):
All Right, I don't know see where it says that. Okay,
it says that in my box tab that you're not
allowed to look at.

Speaker 4 (01:05:48):
Oh okay, shit, all right, all right, so I am
going to select make sure I got thrown on hers
this one, and I'll.

Speaker 3 (01:05:58):
Get that I got five dollars.

Speaker 2 (01:06:00):
Shit, Okay, I'm sure you were a good sport and
left me something though. So let's see here. Uh, what
about what about this love pack? Mike? What do you
think about that one?

Speaker 3 (01:06:11):
Oh, pretty sexy looking box there?

Speaker 2 (01:06:14):
Or what about this weird green one that kind of
looks like a watermelon. Okay, he's not gonna help me.
I'll just pick up random Anie Meanie, Miney, Moe, Cutch,
Rugger bytes toe if dollars let him go eenie meenie
miney mo h close call, nothing happens.

Speaker 3 (01:06:31):
Shit hey hey, oh to be clear, by far the
best of those choices there, okay, So what were the
other ones who we quick on, Bob?

Speaker 1 (01:06:41):
Yeah, yeah, you can click.

Speaker 4 (01:06:44):
The other one would have taken two dollars away from
you giving it to me, and the other one you
would have just lost two dollars.

Speaker 2 (01:06:48):
So wow, okay, man, that's okay. Thanks, got lucky good
ketchup mechanics there, all right. So that means now we're
onto mission nine.

Speaker 1 (01:06:57):
Right nine, that's right, that's great.

Speaker 2 (01:07:00):
Okay. Wow, I get to go first, and you have
a lot more money than me, so I gotta I
have ten dollars now you'll have four. Four okay, So
Mike read what we have here for the mcguffin. All right.

Speaker 4 (01:07:10):
The mcguffins are for one dollars, the vocal Core parasite
from MGS five for two dollars, Fox Die for three dollars,
the Philosopher's Legacy for four dollars, the S three plan
for MUGROSAFT two, and for five dollars out of Heaven
for Mugrosoft four.

Speaker 2 (01:07:24):
Oh man, that stinks. I would like to have outter Haven,
but I can't afford it. So I don't know if
any of these other ones do anything for me. Uh,
they don't. They don't do anything for me.

Speaker 3 (01:07:37):
I think I feel like you don't even know what
a lot of these things are.

Speaker 2 (01:07:39):
That's what I'm saying. I don't know what a lot
of these things are. You know, I guess I vaguely remember. No,
I don't remember fox Dye. I won't lie. I don't
remember five.

Speaker 1 (01:07:48):
You don't know what the Bubakia Parasi vocal core is.

Speaker 2 (01:07:52):
I mean no, but I'm gonna pick that one because
it's only a dollar and I want to save some
money for the last round. So yeah, that's what I'm
going for.

Speaker 4 (01:08:04):
Okay, I can I could pick anything here. The Philosopher's
Legacy is just a lot of money. It's the most
tangible Fox Dice is. I think that kills select people
if you're near them and they're on the list. So yeah,
s S three plan is. I still barely understand outer

(01:08:26):
Haven also barely you know what I'm gonna go at?
The Philosopher's Legacy. It's a it's all about money. It's
all about the money, money, money, So you.

Speaker 2 (01:08:34):
Go, well, if I did play metal Gear Solid one
and five. So I did play some metal Gear something.
I just haven't played a lot of these other ones,
and I don't remember metal Gear Solid all that well.
It was a long time ago. Uh okay, so that
means we are on round ten. Here a theme song? Shit, okay,
let's see here, Mike, go ahead, Andy, have what we

(01:08:55):
have here for theme song? I think I'm kind of
screwed here. I know all these songs pretty well.

Speaker 4 (01:08:58):
Number one is Father and Son from Elga Salt four
for two dollars, The Best is Yet to Come from
metal Gear Solid for three dollars, Sins of the Father
from Elga Salt five for four dollars, the main theme
for Medal GASAUA two and for five dollars, Snake Eater
from Snake Eater.

Speaker 2 (01:09:15):
I would very much like to have Snake Eater. I
only have three dollars, though, so this is tough. I
I guess I'll go with the Best is Yet to
Come from metal Gear Solid. That's a great song. I
love that. Yeah, I know, yeah, yeah, for sure, I
do like that. Okay, Mike, your choice.

Speaker 4 (01:09:35):
Yeah, I mean, look, I want either the main thing
from Mugar Sauce two or Snake Eater. I love that
meint theme a lot. Gosh, it's so freaking good.

Speaker 3 (01:09:42):
Uh. I do like Sins of the Fire. That's actually
a very good song.

Speaker 4 (01:09:47):
I kind of anything I want. Snake Eater is so goofy,
it's I think it's definitely the most popular. It's gonna
get me probably the most attention.

Speaker 2 (01:09:56):
Yeah, I think that's right.

Speaker 4 (01:09:58):
Yeah, it's also very so it is. Basically it's like
six stages removed from being a crush forty song. Sure
they are, They're in the same genus. Yeah, yeah, So look,
we'll just spend our money here. Well, even though like
part of me thinks I would prefer mugersoft too many things,
I think I'll get snake Heater.

Speaker 2 (01:10:16):
All right. So that takes us to our screenshot here,
which has our teams put together. Mike, why don't you
go ahead and read your team for Metal Gear Sonic.

Speaker 3 (01:10:26):
Yes, my leading man is Ride.

Speaker 4 (01:10:27):
In the co star is Autacon, the femme fatale is Ava,
man in the chair is Ocelot, The enemy unit is
Dead Cell. The boss is Great Fox, the big Boss
is solid a Sneak. The Metal Gear is Ray mcguffin
is the Phiosoph's legacy. The theme song is Snake Eater Metal.

Speaker 2 (01:10:44):
Gear Solid but extra stupid this time. The leading man
is Solid Snake with a co star Cyborg. Grading fem
fatale is Merril Silverberg. The man in the chair is
the Kernel. Enemy unit is Foxhound, the boss is Vamp,
but the big boss is Liquid Snake. The rex or
the Metal Gear is Rex or I should say metal Gear.
And then the mcguffin is Vocal Cord Parasite. And our

(01:11:06):
theme song is the best is yet to come from
Metal Gear Solid, a seminal hit of its time. All right,
we will go and have some voting. Now, we'll get
this posted onto social media. We'll see what everyone thinks
about our games here. Mike, how are you feeling about yours?
I feel pretty good, I guess. I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:11:25):
Even when I had Voke Sonics, some people dislike Sonics
so much that they might just vote against it.

Speaker 2 (01:11:29):
It can never tell.

Speaker 3 (01:11:30):
People will be up for the Joker, not on this one.

Speaker 2 (01:11:34):
Who knows. Yeah, I'm you know, all things considered, I'm
pretty happy with my team. But I do think we're
pretty even here. There's a lot of cool shit in
metal gear.

Speaker 3 (01:11:43):
Yeah, it's almost it's almost hard to accidentally make a
bad metal gear getting this way.

Speaker 2 (01:11:48):
Oh, the individual elements are so fun. Yep. Absolutely all right. So,
like I said, we'll let the voting commence, we'll take
a break, we'll come back talk about what we've been playing,
clear up the super chats, we'll get the results. We'll
find out who's going to win this one right after this.
All right, we're back. Voting is happening right now. Christian

(01:12:09):
got the pull posted. So in our discord, the tabulations
are happening. They're checking hanging tabs, hanging tads, Cha, chads,
thank you, also tads. Maybe that's what we had chance. Yeah,
and that's also a topical reference. So I get it wrong,
and it's from twenty five years ago.

Speaker 3 (01:12:28):
Got serviss from the year two thousand.

Speaker 2 (01:12:30):
Great stuff here on this show, Mike, What have you
been playing?

Speaker 4 (01:12:34):
I bet I did continue the twenty nineteen apology tour
with Slay the Spire.

Speaker 2 (01:12:38):
Oh okay, this is one I feel bad about missing.
How are you finding Slay the Spire?

Speaker 4 (01:12:43):
I really liked it, so I got really mad at
for us because my first run I actually got to
the final boss and I was like one turn away
from being able to kill him, and then he took
me out, So I was pretty upset.

Speaker 3 (01:12:54):
Yeah, so I did second run.

Speaker 2 (01:12:56):
It was no good.

Speaker 4 (01:12:57):
So third run I went back and I went back
to my strategy from the first run, which it was
basically building up defense I can then use as offense. Okay,
and that time I just had an insane build going
and I went all the way and yeah, I beat
my first run there on try three, and it felt
very good. I've actually played a run offline with like
a different character I unlocked. I immediately get the appeal

(01:13:19):
of this game. It's also nice because you know, it
does remind me of playing Harpstone, which is something I
did for a long time. That's kind of annoying to
keep up with it.

Speaker 3 (01:13:26):
I'm like, oh, here's one of these games where I
don't have to buy three expansions worth of booster pecks
every year or stuff like that.

Speaker 4 (01:13:34):
Right this is just a full game right here. I
don't have to wait for the other player to take
their turn.

Speaker 3 (01:13:39):
This is maybe this is better.

Speaker 2 (01:13:42):
I like this, especially like hearing that you're good at it,
because that really gives credit to you. Talking your shit
earlier about Northern Line and the Metrade Venus because that's
his genre. He loves like this, so you can be like, oh, yeah,
I know those games and you don't know what you're
talking about. I like it, know this person, maybe they're
a nice rank or they're they're great, Northern Line's awesome.

Speaker 3 (01:14:04):
Come here coming to bake me?

Speaker 2 (01:14:06):
Yeah? Yeah, okay, so you were into this one, have
you like seen in these other ones? Monster Train and
I know, I was just.

Speaker 4 (01:14:17):
Looking at screenshots on Monster Train too is I think
it's on sale and Switch right now, and I'm looking
at I'm like, oh, that looks a lot like slatest Fire,
even more than I was expecting. And people like that one,
so yeah, I don't know, maybe I'll check it out
though it feels like boy.

Speaker 3 (01:14:31):
So so much more I can explore and slatest Fire.
I want to beat it with other characters. Yeah, now
that you have a momentum going in that one, you
might as well continue it.

Speaker 2 (01:14:39):
And it is the one that everyone seems to like
still considered to be the best, So yeah, I can
you like just describe the loop for me one more time,
like really quick, just so I can try to get
a good handle on it.

Speaker 4 (01:14:49):
I mean yeah, So you start with very basic cards
in your deck, like five attack cards deal five damage
to an enemy, five defense cards give yourself five block
so you absorb damage. And then like time, you kind
of go up this like map with branching paths, and
like sometimes you'll fight in sometimes you'll go to a shop.

Speaker 3 (01:15:05):
Sometimes you'll fight a boss. Ure you fight a boss,
you get and you fight a boss, you.

Speaker 4 (01:15:09):
Get a relic and that can be like your jokers,
right thing, right, so you know, and every time you
beat an enemy, you could add a card to your deck.
So you start fishing for cards that are going to
synergize with the sort of deck you want to build out,
while also hoping to get artifacts that can work with that.
So it's all like a lot of these roguelikes, you
kind of start off and you try to zero in
on what your strategy and what your place style is

(01:15:31):
going to be and just make your build around that.

Speaker 2 (01:15:36):
Okay, all that's all. That sounds like my ship.

Speaker 3 (01:15:38):
Yep, yeah you should check you if you have played this.
Uh you know, rich coming from me, but yeah you should.
What are you waiting for?

Speaker 2 (01:15:46):
I have it on switch? I think so I I
think it is on game paths.

Speaker 3 (01:15:50):
I know, you know, people are different places with Microsoft
right now, understandably understandable.

Speaker 4 (01:15:55):
Yeah, it's on there. So there's plenty of ways to
play this game. Anything else should no be is fantastic.

Speaker 1 (01:16:02):
I love it.

Speaker 3 (01:16:03):
I was so excited for this game, and it's everything
I was hoping for. It's just a super fluid, funfilling
two D game. I like how even though it's not
a metro vein you still are like constantly kind of
getting upgrades, and there are reasons that go back to
levels you can unlock new paths and find more of
the optional items and things like that.

Speaker 2 (01:16:20):
So there's a little bit of that DNA in it.
I won't make a.

Speaker 3 (01:16:24):
Joke about forgetting your car keys, but yeah, gosh, I'm
so happy with it. It makes me so optimistic about
this whole initiative from saying and now not everybody making
one of these revival games for them is going to
be a lizard Cube who is just like, are shooting
up to become one of my favorite developers with you
know what they did for Streets of Rage four and

(01:16:44):
now this they are just now a studio where whatever
they're working on next I'm going to be so freaking
excited for yep.

Speaker 2 (01:16:51):
Yeah, I mean this is a proof that it wasn't
a fluke and that they have a real, real strong
understanding of what made these games appealing in the first
place and how to carry them forward and make them
feel modern and new. I love Streets Rage four and
I am loving this game. It's I I've not gotten
the grappling hote thing yet. Have you, I know, you
just got it when we last talked. Have you used

(01:17:13):
it much now or are you still on that one level?

Speaker 4 (01:17:15):
To night, I'll be playing a bit more, not playing
on my rug ally X and it works very well
on there, so I'm happy about that.

Speaker 3 (01:17:21):
So yeah, I'll be doing more of that soon.

Speaker 2 (01:17:24):
Yeah, I mean, me and Dan we're kind of we
were doing a quick look for Illuminous, which will go
up tomorrow morning everybody, and before a while while were
getting set up for that, like Shoby's all we could
talk about. He's also like super feeling it as well,
which is I'm like, okay, yeah, I gues this is
one that's gonna win over everybody. And I do wonder
what people people seem to have some or some people
seem to have issues with the platforming, and I'm like,

(01:17:45):
I'm kind of yeah, I'm kind of waiting to see,
like what what what they mean there. I do feel
it's like a little stiffer than Ninja Guide and the
running and the jumping, but I would describe it as deliberate,
and I would describe it as like it's just a
particular and I like my platforming games like that. Sometimes
I don't want all of them to feel that way,
but I have no issue with this one feeling that way.

(01:18:05):
And I think a huge part of that is, as
always with Lizard Cube, this goes back to Wonder Boy,
the animations sell everything. So even if it is a
little stiff, the animations kind of explain to me visually
why the character moves this way, and so I'm completely
hooked onto it.

Speaker 3 (01:18:23):
Yeah, exactly, I haven't had any of those issues yet.

Speaker 2 (01:18:25):
Maybe, Okay, we'll see about later. Yeah, I'll tell you
that's what I'm like, they can maybe later it will happen.

Speaker 4 (01:18:31):
Yeah, we'll see. Other big thing here is Model Gear
Solid Delta Snake Eater. I've been playing a good bit
that I just got to the boss fight with the
end who is the famous sniper boss fight. This this
actually was one of my favorite games. I love Nail
Your Solid Snake Eater. It is just I think prop
I can go back and forth between one or three,

(01:18:53):
which one I like more. There is so much that
is interesting and fun and kind of clever about Snake Eater,
and it's mechanically and seeing all that brought over here.

Speaker 2 (01:19:03):
With you know, so much of the remake. Look, yeah,
the graphic stuff that's nice.

Speaker 4 (01:19:07):
I think it is some of the quality of life
stuff that stands out to me the most, like just
having a button you can hold down to kind of
enter sneaking mode, being able to actually just use L
and R for aiming downsites in shooting that was a
lot more complicated on those PS two games, right, having
quick access to the CAMO system into doing codec calls,

(01:19:28):
all these little things like that. Just you see the
close quarter combat stuff where you hold a person, you
can interrogate them or you can knock them out. Almost
everything just feels a bit better, you know. I know,
whenever they do these kind of remakes, some people worry
or think that something is a little bit lost in
the translation, and I always so I think they maybe
have a point.

Speaker 3 (01:19:48):
I think this one is better at that than others.

Speaker 4 (01:19:51):
I might still bother some people, but generally I think
it looks pretty good and basically looks like what I
would have imagined Melgar Soli three, just looking like if
it was made today.

Speaker 2 (01:20:00):
Right.

Speaker 4 (01:20:01):
Maybe it's a bit less stylized because they, you know,
had to stylize things a bit more generally for PS
two era, and I can understand missing that. I think
they mostly did a good job with that stuff.

Speaker 2 (01:20:11):
Yeah, right. I think Dan made the point of like
that one scene that everyone is pointing out, the salute
scene is so iconic that people have an idea of
what it should look like, and anything that is off
from that is going to be very noticeable, and that
it's that that same thing is just not true of
the entire rest of the game. I tend to believe that.
So when I was watching Dan play it, I'm like, Yeah,
this looks like a modernized metal Gear Solid three and

(01:20:34):
all the ways that it should be, and it doesn't.
It doesn't look like it stands off all the visual
edges or whatever necessarily.

Speaker 4 (01:20:40):
So I saw I saw Christian named our episode is
malgres saw a Delta s Nike Gator disappointing remake.

Speaker 3 (01:20:47):
No, we're just asking questions here. Yeah, you know, like
there's like a little part of me just especially early
on that was like, boy, this is that game. I know,
I've played this game a few times, and like, is
this interesting to just be playing this game again. Then

(01:21:08):
pretty quickly I was just like, oh, I'm happy to
be playing.

Speaker 2 (01:21:10):
This game again.

Speaker 3 (01:21:10):
Yeah right, yeah yeah, And the quality of life stuff
was becoming kind of more noticeable as I was going
through it. And you know, for this particular game, like
for a Solid Hill two or for a Resume before sure,
basically make a new game with that blueprint. Medical Solidree
is kind of a tricky one, especially because of the
weird situation with Kojima.

Speaker 4 (01:21:29):
Where you can't really be involved and how do you
make big changes to that game without his involvement. That's
kind of just you're asking for it.

Speaker 2 (01:21:37):
Right mm hmm. Yeah. I mean they have to build
up a lot of goodwill before they could try something
like that, so it feels like a very long way away.
So yeah, I like this.

Speaker 3 (01:21:45):
I wouldn't mind seeing them to do a few more
remakes if they want to get really ambitious.

Speaker 2 (01:21:48):
I don't think they could ever make.

Speaker 3 (01:21:50):
A new metal Gear game, but maybe you could do
like a remake of metal Gear, right, like the a
big game or Metal Gear two.

Speaker 2 (01:21:59):
I wouldn't they do that and they do a good job,
then then I think they can make a new one.
If it's like, oh, they completely reworked metal Gear to
the point where it's like, oh, this feels like a
new metal Gear game, they could do something at that point.

Speaker 4 (01:22:09):
Maybe Battlelid Mega fans aren't like because I heard Dan
talking about this on fire Skip.

Speaker 3 (01:22:14):
He's you know, a big Melgasolt fan. He's pretty adamant, Like,
I do not want that, right.

Speaker 2 (01:22:18):
I know, I know they say that.

Speaker 1 (01:22:19):
Now.

Speaker 2 (01:22:20):
I think I think they could be one over. I
really I think they can be. Do they know it's
a long way away from that. Everything has to go perfect.
But if they do everything perfect, then I think people
would be like, I guess I'll give them a chance
and we'll see. And I like, I think you're right
that they could remake metal Gear and really get away
with that if you really prove themselves at that point.

(01:22:41):
If you remake metal.

Speaker 3 (01:22:42):
Gear metal Gear two, those are basically new games exactly
exactly right, that's what they are test runs to prove
that they could do this, and you know this Kuldnomi
have the appetite for that.

Speaker 2 (01:22:52):
I have no idea are these games is going to
sell enough for them to justify the headaches that that
would be. I don't know, but it's possible. I mean,
this one is virtuos with you know, help from Konami.
I don't think that, you know, the development structure lends
itself to them being able to continue this forever. Like
that's an outsourced studio still in a lot of ways

(01:23:13):
that's meant to remake a game one to one. So
we'll see if they even have an appetite to take
a bite at something like that. For me, it's mostly
the same stuff I have been playing. I talked about
like hurdling in other places I did like boot up
Luminas Arise a little bit. That's a game I played
at Summer game Fest. The demo that is out on

(01:23:35):
Steam is still mostly just what I played at Summer
game Fest. But I was kind of getting the idea
a little bit more at you in this time, and
I'm super into what that game is putting down. I
know it's weird to say it's the Tetris effect, Tetris
effect of Luminez because a lot of way, yes, in
a lot of ways, Tetris effect was the Luminez of Tetris.
But it's clear that they took a lot of what

(01:23:55):
they learned, and we talked to Mark about this, so
you'll hear about this in the Quick Look, which apparently
is coming maybe to afternoon actually, but yeah, it's like
clearly that they one fit into the other and now
that is feeding back into Luminez in a way that
I really like. And I think the burst system looks.
Watching Dan play in the quick Look was really cool
because Dan really must have played a lot of Lumins.

(01:24:17):
He immediately was getting s ranks and stuff, and it's like, oh,
I get a lot more of like the strategy of
this game now, especially in these burst segments, which is
the equivalent of like when you would pull the left
and right trigger in Tetris effect and time would slow
down and you would get a chance to get these
big combos. They basically do that here, and it's like
if you build your meter up to one percent, the

(01:24:37):
line will go across several times. And while it's doing that,
you can build, like, build this big box of two
by two things that become a massive box of like
one hundred. It will score like one hundred point multiplier
or something like that, and it's really satisfying to see.
And while you're doing that, if you put the blocks
down in the right way, so that the two of
the color that is the current the current ones selected

(01:24:59):
for the burst, and then there's the other color that
is the opposite color that's not a part of the burst, Well,
if you set those next to one another, so there's
two of the opposite color sitting here, and you set
down your block that has that same color, those will
kind of shoot off into the sky and get out
of the way, so you could do this big burst
and then all of them will come back onto the
playfield and sit on top of one another. Soon you

(01:25:20):
get this really good combo that way, it's just it
looks like it feels awesome. Again. When I was watching
Dan play and when I was trying to myself, I
was beginning to get it a little bit more beyond that.
I'm you know, I booted up Forsaken because we've been
talking about it for Saken Remastered, and it's like, yeah,
this game does still rule. I couldn't get it working
on my steam Deck, though, I was getting a little like,

(01:25:42):
why wouldn't this work on steam Deck? I bet I
need to just find the correct proton.

Speaker 3 (01:25:46):
What is Forsaken for people who perhaps don't know, Jeff, Yeah,
that's right.

Speaker 2 (01:25:50):
I just assume. I mean it got it was a
household name when I was thrown up. Forsaken is a
first person vehicle shooter. I'm gonna similar to Descent. You know,
it's like a corridor shooter, but in three D, as
in like you can go in any direction. You can
fly up through a path, you can fly down, you're
in a ship, and it can kind of look in

(01:26:12):
any direction, so you're not like locked to the ground.
That's the easiest way of explaining it. But I just
booted up real fast on the PC when I couldn't
get it working on steam Deck because I was interested
to see what it feels like. It feels good. It's
Nighttive doing their thing.

Speaker 3 (01:26:26):
You're just obsessed with video games with girls with heart tattoos.

Speaker 2 (01:26:31):
Listen, I got a type. I mean, yeah, what can
I say? Yeah, outside of that, not much else. Like
I said, it's been a lot of Shinobi and we
talked about that and Expedition thirty three. That's really been
taking up most of my time.

Speaker 3 (01:26:45):
Fantast, Did you finish your encounter with the Paintress?

Speaker 2 (01:26:48):
No, but I'm like, I'm like, actually, like I was
going to the Paintress and I didn't realize it was
like that meant like, no, You're definitely just going to
the paintress right now. I'm like, oh, okay, and so
I am starting that fight and I had to put
it down for other things. But when I get done here,
that's what I'm doing in bed tonight on the steam deck.
Very nice. You'll be doing that. I'll be doing some
shno being or we having a good time. It's gonna

(01:27:08):
be good, you know. I guess I played some Kirby
as well. Yeah, I did too, I guess. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:27:13):
I mean the expansion the Star Cross Worlds, it seems
really good. It's just it's you know, it's more of that,
but with some you know, just really pretty starry visuals.

Speaker 3 (01:27:25):
And gosh, that's that's a good game.

Speaker 4 (01:27:27):
I really like Kirby in the Forgotten Land, and it's
nice having some you know, performance resolution boosts there.

Speaker 2 (01:27:32):
Yeah, it was Uh, you know, I think people are
gonna watch you play. We played on Giant Bond today.
You were piloting and you started moving the character and
immediately you're like, oh, this just feels so good, and
I just hope people know you're not over selling it.

Speaker 1 (01:27:45):
That is.

Speaker 2 (01:27:46):
It really is an awesome feeling game. It's just a
great They made Kirby feel excellent in three D, and
so immediately I was moving the character around and because
of the performance improvements, it actually feels better than ever.
And then it's just you know, it's an awesome, pleasant,
great looking, colorful three D platformer with a lot of
cool special aspects to it in terms of its power
ups and things. And they just know what they're doing.

(01:28:07):
They know how to design the encounters so that you're
taking advantage of all the cool power ups that you
can get, and the mouthful modes are still so fun. Yeah,
it's I'm enjoying it. Immediately fell right back into it,
so yeah, it hit the spot, all right, Mike, Uh,
let's wrap up those super chats. If we got any more,
I'm not sure if we did.

Speaker 4 (01:28:25):
We got a few more here, Okay, Braba, it's me
Packers still suck. That's right from Tyler James Bay Packers
got Parsons, go pack go.

Speaker 2 (01:28:33):
I mean that does that? Also does suck? I hate
that pass off.

Speaker 3 (01:28:37):
Hoggs says, Mike, here's five dollars to get you to
play Chosen in the Sky first chapter remake Demo Lovey Both. Okay,
maybe maybe I'll maybe I'll stream this or something this this.

Speaker 2 (01:28:47):
Twisted his arm.

Speaker 3 (01:28:49):
Yeah, I'll take a look at this.

Speaker 4 (01:28:50):
So I wonder how if the again, like I saw
one trailer and I just not like the voice for us,
tell that really is it?

Speaker 2 (01:28:57):
It really is just that one thing.

Speaker 3 (01:28:58):
Maybe I'll get over it.

Speaker 2 (01:29:00):
I'll figure it out.

Speaker 1 (01:29:01):
The Japanese the English boys, maybe I might be.

Speaker 4 (01:29:04):
I might just have to like hide behind the Japanese voice,
which to me is always just neutral.

Speaker 3 (01:29:09):
I'd never be like the jabs woice acting is better.
It's just Japanese voice acting. To me, I don't speak
that language. But if I don't like the English voice acting,
then I'll take it. Michael R.

Speaker 4 (01:29:20):
O'Leary says, can't believe the thumbnail features are rare behind
the scenes photo of Mike as the live action.

Speaker 3 (01:29:25):
TikTok the Crocodile and hook.

Speaker 2 (01:29:27):
What was Hoffman like? He was nice? He's nice. Yeah,
a real professional is what I hear.

Speaker 3 (01:29:34):
Yeah, he wasn't like some bullshit method actor kept trying
to be a pirate like you know, great with the kids. Yeah,
when he called cut, he was just you know, the
the dude, it was it was good.

Speaker 2 (01:29:46):
That does with the super chats, right, that's it? Okay, Christian,
are you ready over there? You think you got you
got the results? Ready to need a minute? Okay?

Speaker 3 (01:29:55):
All right, go ahead, I'll tell you over on YouTube
the pull is uh fit six percent for metal Gear
Sonic and forty four percent for metal Gear Solid, but
Extra Stupid this time.

Speaker 2 (01:30:05):
Okay, so we don't know that that's not a clear indicator,
I think. On Twitter, so that maybe this doesn't bode well.
With a little over one hundred votes, middle Gear Sonic
has thirty five percent and middle Gear Extra Stupid has
sixty five percent.

Speaker 3 (01:30:21):
So you always destroying me on Twitter.

Speaker 2 (01:30:23):
Yeah that I've really really got my finger on the
pulse of those people, which I'm going to go see
a doctor about. Actually, I watched that.

Speaker 3 (01:30:30):
Video you were talking about by the way from the Graveyard.

Speaker 2 (01:30:33):
What'd you think of that?

Speaker 1 (01:30:34):
Was?

Speaker 2 (01:30:35):
It was it your speed. I don't know. Yah, I
liked it.

Speaker 4 (01:30:39):
There was some stuff like there was like one guy's like,
look at this guy, he was completely normal and then
he turned crazy. I was like, I don't know how
normal this guy was in the first place.

Speaker 2 (01:30:46):
Maybe yeah, yeah, but I mean he was. He went
crazy in like the sellout work, the grifter sort of
way is all they made. I mean, I guess he
started praising Peter Teal and it was like the previous
version of himself he never would have done that, but
you're right, he was always a little I'm.

Speaker 4 (01:31:00):
Like so familiar to like that one guy who made
the awful Puerto Rico joke. I didn't realize how much
more he sucks in his weird I ken't was the
creble seeing Rick Flair being above it, right, yeah, right.

Speaker 2 (01:31:13):
Like walking off like yeah, man, I'm feeling bad for
Rick Flair is not something I expected when I went
into that video. It was weird. You got a Christian?
I got it. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:31:23):
The results and the hanging Chaz has been reviewed by
a monkey wearing a metal trousers, So it's a a.

Speaker 2 (01:31:33):
All right Christian. If you have the results, let's go
ahead and and let's hear it what metal Gear Metal
Gears face off game with fifty five point nine percent
verses forty one point one percent, the winner is.

Speaker 1 (01:31:49):
Metal Gear Solid but interested it this time?

Speaker 2 (01:31:52):
Oh no, well you've meant soning right. You got me
to me? All right, thank you very much, everybody. My
streak is dead. I think this was definitely our closest
one ever in terms of like the like what we
put on paper here. I think it really could have
gone either way, you know, ten more votes and maybe

(01:32:13):
flips back and forth.

Speaker 3 (01:32:14):
I thought my solidest snake reasoning with him being the president,
might might have gotten me over the edge.

Speaker 2 (01:32:19):
But oh I like that a lot. He also he
also doesn't look you know, if you squint, kind of
like Eggman, so a little bit, yeah, a little bit,
all right, Yeah Cyborg Graydon did it for Dougman. Apparently
the kids love syd It's tragic, angs Diesel. All right, well, hey,
you did win the YouTube poll though fifty seven percent

(01:32:41):
of the votes. Actually, I am.

Speaker 3 (01:32:42):
Always the man of the of the people on YouTube, right, yeah, uh.

Speaker 2 (01:32:45):
Huh, all right, I think that's gonna do it for us.
We have no more super chats, right, we didn't get
a last minute one. I don't think no, we're done.
It looks like we're done. All right, I'm hitting. I'm
hitting the music. Then, Mike, why do you tell people
where they could find you all that good stuff? Whatever
you want to say, you can follow me on Blue
Sky at Tolkoto.

Speaker 4 (01:33:06):
Keep an eye out on there for just a little
personal announcement and yeah Twitch, Twitch dot tv, slash toll
Koto as well.

Speaker 3 (01:33:17):
Yeah, giant bomb dot com.

Speaker 2 (01:33:18):
I always music.

Speaker 3 (01:33:20):
They don't hear the music? That sounds so pretty, Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:33:23):
Christian, Christian heard the music, right, I heard the music. Okay,
so it'll be on the podcast. You have a Christian's
crazy always hear.

Speaker 2 (01:33:29):
Music, that's yeah. Yeah. Playing this game reminded me of
so I went into the Fantasy Critic discord trying to
get them to recognize the fact that The God of
War spent Off is not coming out this year, to
no success.

Speaker 1 (01:33:43):
I was not.

Speaker 2 (01:33:44):
Successful at that, although I think I'll be fine. I
hope is is they announced that game at the State
of Play and say it's coming out in twenty twenty six,
and then I'll be able to drop it. Whatever. This
is not my point. It was like I was clearly
like being a little bit of a shit being like
I'm a real journalist. You gotta believe me, And everyone
got that it was a joke. And then one guy
was like, we want you to do a Fantasy Critical
league with like apparently they have like famous people or

(01:34:05):
famous people for Fantasy Critic in their discord. And the
one guy that's in there is like, I've listened to
enough of Jeff Grubb guessing what a metacritic is going
to be three months out to know that I would
destroy him. Yeah, I responded with the drew blinking white
guy face be like, oh, I see, But I thought
that was pretty funny to know that my reputation precedes me.

(01:34:27):
So yeah, there we go. Thanks a lot, Mike for
making me look bad in front of fantasy critics.

Speaker 3 (01:34:33):
I'm so good at it.

Speaker 2 (01:34:36):
We'll be back with episodes next week. What other things
should people know about? Yeah? Yeah, uh fantasy. I'm sorry,
blight Club, You're not gonna want to miss I really
mean at this time.

Speaker 3 (01:34:50):

Speaker 2 (01:34:52):

the set or his you know, onto his camera in
his costume, and I wonder if he's got me an
inflatable dragon. Thanks for watching. Everybody catch you next time.

dare you? I'm assuming Sean wasn't me? That's honor you.

Speaker 1 (01:35:59):
Actually, I don't care about football.

Speaker 2 (01:36:01):
It's not real. Yeah, yeah, that's fair. It's more of
a competition than that. Support. Okay, I'm gonna bring us back.

Speaker 1 (01:36:11):
He said, this is a good draft. This is gonna
be a good draft. Everybody buggle up.

Speaker 2 (01:36:15):

(01:37:42):
looks good.

Speaker 2 (01:37:43):
I should be able to just put that right into here.

Speaker 1 (01:37:49):
Wanted to be frugal.

Speaker 2 (01:37:52):
With your effort.

Speaker 1 (01:37:54):

Speaker 2 (01:38:05):

Speaker 2 (01:39:19):
Okay, you pick up your chips, looking good, and now
he's gonna get them. Okay, I am ready. If you
boys are ready, I am ready. Okay, let me actually
make sure I got this thing right in front of me. Okay,
let's uh, let's do it. I'm bringing us back.

Speaker 4 (01:39:50):
