In Jason Goes to Hell, Jason’s body is obliterated, but his evil spirit lives on, jumping between hosts as he hunts for a blood relative to restore his true form. Then, in Jason X, the franchise takes a wild sci-fi turn as Jason is cryogenically frozen and wakes up in space 400 years later, becoming an unstoppable killing machine (literally) as Uber Jason.
