The WNBA playoff picture is taking shape with clear contenders, pretenders, and lottery-bound teams emerging as we enter the second half of the season.

• Minnesota Lynx lead the league with Napheesa Collier (23 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists) as their undisputed star
• New York Liberty have assembled a superteam with Breanna Stewart, Sabrina Ionescu, Jonquel Jones, and recent addition Emma Meesseman
• Phoenix Mercury's big three of Satou Sabally, Kahleah Copper, and DeWanna Bonner make them legitimate contenders
• Seattle Storm and Atlanta Dream qualify as "playoff pretenders" despite solid records and talented rosters
• Indiana Fever could be dangerous with Commissioner's Cup championship and rising stars Aliyah Boston and Caitlin Clark
• Washington Mystics have been a pleasant surprise with Brittney Sykes leading a team of young All-Stars
• Las Vegas Aces remain dangerous despite their lower standing with A'ja Wilson and Jackie Young leading
• Los Angeles Sparks, Chicago Sky, Dallas Wings, and Connecticut Sun appear headed for the lottery
• Coaching will be a deciding factor for teams on the playoff bubble

Speaker 1 (00:06):
What's up, everybody.
It's your favorite show'sfavorite show.
Get a Bucket.
I'm your host, trey, and asusual, I hope you're all having
a wonderful, wonderful day.
Today we're going to talk aboutthe second half of the WNBA
season, at least my expectations.
But before we do that, pleasemake sure to hit that like and
subscribe button, comment, tellanyone about the show, trying to
get the ratings up a little bit.
You know, just a little bit.
But, like I said, we're gonnatalk about here my second half

(00:29):
of the wmb expectations, theall-star game.
It was a good one, but we ain'ttalking about that no more,
because that's over and donewith first half the season.
Over and done with.
We can use it for points ofreference, though, hence why?
Well, we do have the standing.
So again, ladies and gentlemen,y'all know the standings before
you.
I'm saying I've talked aboutthem links at the top, sun at

(00:51):
the bottom.
Figure it out, everybody else.
Right now, we got the links atthe top.
Next, liberty, mercury, storm, dream fever, mystics, aces,
valkyrie, spark, sky, wings andsun to round out the bottom.
So with that we're we're goingto talk about all 13 teams.
But, ladies and gentlemen, here's the catch.
Here's the catch because Iain't going to hem and haw too

(01:11):
much.
I'm going to list off theexpectations for the star, the
supporting all-star, thesupporting cast and the coaching
.
Give you all my quick takesabout them real fast, right,
fast.
So, with that being said, Ithink it's only fair to bring up
the number one team, theMinnesota Lynx, right now.

(01:32):
Ladies and gentlemen, theydoing all right, they doing
their thing, and I said thestars.
We got to shout out to NafisaCollier because she's one of
them ones.
You know what I'm saying.
She's one of them ones.
That's why she's right here atthe top 23 points.
Y'all see that Eight rebounds, three assists, like she across

(01:52):
the board in everything, butshe's also quite efficient too.
So who are supporting cast?
It's usually Kayla McBride, butwe got to talk about Courtney
Williams here too, because sheboth of them were all-stars, but
Courtney, for me, got theall-star berth without injuries.
No disrespect, kayla, it justit just seemed like this was

(02:16):
Courtney's season.
Kayla is a hooper, though, andI think, because she got
slighted, she might have a chipon her shoulder.
So, again, this Lynx link squadthey got three all-stars.
They got a star, though a toptier star.
So injuries are part of thegame.
So you're gonna need some depth.
How's the depth?

(02:36):
Looking for the links, let methink about this here now.
I mean, you know, top three, they cool everybody else.
Uh, you know natisha heideman, you know like she cool, shout
out stud buds, and them, youknow, I'm saying like she's a
stud on the court, I guess anoff the two, huh.
But they cool though.
Her and courtney cool though.

(02:56):
They're good, solid tandem.
But they have other players aswell too.
You got jessica shepherd doingpretty well.
Bridget carolton solid.
I like diamond miller, eventhough she not giving the same
run that I thought she shouldhave gotten.
Maybe she not showing enough inpractice, I don't know.
But the Lynx, I think they haveenough coaching.
I like so solid coach.

(03:21):
But also she got a solid team.
So it's kind of unfair for meto say that the coaching is
elite.
Right, I'm going to saysufficient.
But again, ladies and gentlemen, that does round out the links,
and let's not forget too okay, they are number one, they are
number one.
Now, if we pull up and pop out,yo Gio might not blame himself.

(03:42):
Let's go ahead and talk abouthere the next team which, as
y'all can see, is the New YorkLiberty, now the Liberty.
Let me give y'all a little home, right?
The Liberty?
Oh, shout out Courtney, shoutout Emma.
Now, this is a big deal for me,because the star of the squad,
they have two to three.
The Liberty have two to threestars.

(04:03):
Brianna Stewart is my star forthem, but you also have a
sabrina ian eskew or maybe evena jonquil jones, who won finals
nvp.
Let's not forget that, ladiesand gentlemen.
Okay, so we have at least threestars, the supporting all-star.
For me, you have at least two, like one of got to be the

(04:26):
supporting all-star.
So, after you figure out whichone classifies as a star, which
I think history is going to sayBrianna Stewart, you got at
least Sabrina or Jonquell Jonesbacking you up as an all-star.
That's a wonderful situation tobe in, ladies and gentlemen,
but you're looking here at EmmaMieseman to be in, ladies and
gentlemen, but you're lookinghere at Emma Mieseman who, if
I'm not mistaken, was finals MVPin 2019 for the Washington

(04:50):
Mystics.
Now you're pairing her withBrianna Stewart, with Sabrina
Inescu, with Jonquil Jones, butthen you also get Natasha Cloud,
I think, this Sky team, I meanthis Liberty team.
Oh, my God, I think thisLiberty team is about to be on
cloud nine, because you'readding someone like an Emma
Mieseman to a squad that Ithought was missing one person

(05:13):
which they lost.
They lost Phoebus.
They lost Phoebus.
That's who they ended up losingand because of that I thought
they took a little dip.
But that bringing in Emma, yeah, that helps out your depth
right there, and coaching wise,I thought they took a little dip
.
But that bringing in Emma, yeah, that helps out your depth
right there.
And coaching-wise, I thoughttheir coaching was sufficient.
So again, ladies and gentlemen, coaching, cool, coaching, cool

(05:33):
Coaching, cool, depth-wise.
It's a slight question.
There was a slight questionmark prior to that Emma Mieseman
signing, but I think theLiberty might be okay now.
So let's see what happens, youknow, as the season progresses.
But again, ladies and gentlemen, the liberty, they at number two
.
So I mean, who should we pullup next?
I think we should pull up the.

(05:55):
Should we pull up the sun?
I think we can pull up the sun.
I think that's more than fair.
So when we're talking about the, not the sun, oh, my God, the
Phoenix Mercury, hey yo, that'sall right.
So one does anybody else get alittle confused with him
sometimes.
Just name it Like, because I'msorry.
Connecticut Mercury, forwhatever he sounds nice, or the
Phoenix Sun just sound, you know, because of the NBA.

(06:17):
But the Phoenix Mercury, ladiesand gentlemen, am I sharing
this right?
Yeah, I am, I just had to makesure I was doing it correctly.
So we got here.
Satu Shabali, alyssa Thomas, ladies and gentlemen, I don't
know who should be consideredthe one, the star of the squad.
I really don't.
I really don't Now.

(06:38):
This team could go Satu, youcould go Alyssa Thomas For me
personally, I'm a lean Satu forright now.
I think this is her time, although Alyssa Thomas is still
top five for me in the WNBA.
So it's a weird tricking, it'sa weird situation for me right
now, but I'm a lean Satu rightnow for the star.
But you already know where I'mgoing with it.

(06:59):
As far as supporting all-star,here's the thing, though.
Supporting all-star.
Here's the thing though.
Kalia copper, it's her team, like she was there first and I
understand, I understand, gottaput our egos aside, but damn,
she got to be thrown into themix too, and she can also get a
bucket herself too.
So the phoenix mercury y'alllooking pretty nice.
Now here's the thing we talkabout.
Depth, right, I don't talkabout they big three.

(07:21):
They added DeJuan Abonner, andthat was before the Mercury were
snapping.
So when you're snapping, thenyou add someone like a DeJuan
Abonner who's an elite leveldefender and can get a bucket at
herself.
She's like what?
Third all-time in scoring.
Come on now.
So again, ladies and gentlemen, and if I messed up on that

(07:43):
number, my bad, but she up there, though, she up there, though,
she up there, that's the thing.
So that depth, yeah, they gooddepth-wise, because the depth
just showed, even with KalayaCopper out for injury, they went
as high as number two.
So for me, phoenix Mercury, they got good depth and the
coaching, it appears sufficient.

(08:05):
I need to observe just a smidgemore, though, because again,
they got the team in place, yougot the stars.
I'm not going to lie to you.
I need to see, come playofftime, what the coaching status
is going to look like.
But, ladies and gentlemen, again, let's not forget Phoenix

(08:29):
Mercury.
They are currently number threein the WNBA.
So again, y'all heard the star, the all-star, the supporting
cast and the coaching status formy teams.
Now, I listed off these threeteams, ladies and gentlemen.
Y'all might be wondering why.
Well, it's this simple.
These three teams right nowseem to be my playoff contenders

(08:49):
.
There's some other ones thatcan still make it.
There's some other ones that Ihave slight question marks
around, but right now those aremy three playoff contenders.
So with that, you might bewondering, well, okay.
So with that, you might bewondering, well, who's my next
one?
Well, these seem to be like theplayoff pretenders, and that's

(09:09):
what's sad.
That's what's sad Because again, ladies and gentlemen, let's go
, let's just go down the list.
So, y'all see, number four isthe storm.
Y'all see, number four is thestorm.
Ah, they cool.
14 to9.
You know, point differential.
On paper it seemed like theygood.

(09:30):
It's just something about them.
I'm not following, I'm nottracking.
Well, bro, like all right.
So look, you got Skylar Digginsright.
Neca's still top five for me,skylar, having a phenomenal
season.
No-transcript, I ain't mad atthat.

(09:51):
You know what I'm saying?
Won it with the storm?
Shout out, sue Bird, youcarrying that mantle pretty well
, skyler, that's what it seemedlike.
Gabby Williams you were anall-star, you playing pretty
well.
You got some young pups on thesquad that can do well.
Jordan Horstner, you got anEzzie Magbogor.
You got even a Zion Cook, whocan cook a little bit.
Who can cook a little bit.
You got a good depth, you got agood coach.

(10:13):
Like, why am I not believing inthe team?
You even got Dominic Malanga, who's the number two draft pick,
who can dunk the ball quiteeasily.
Why am I not believing in thisteam, bro?
I don't know?
Like I still got question marksaround him.
I really truly do Like thedepth is sufficient.
It's just lacking slightly, just slightly Like the Stars.

(10:38):
They still got something toprove for me.
I got to look at them aspretenders Because I've also had
the same feeling about otherteams in the past and the Storm
just give me that same vibe.
And those teams didn't win,unfortunately.
Good teams just weren't able toget over that hump.
So that's what I'm trying tofigure out.
Are they going to the playoffs, but are they pretenders?

(10:59):
Again, ladies and gentlemen, when you look at right here,
we're at one, two, a three, afour.
So if we foresee and doingquite well, it makes no sense
why I'm calling them pretenders.
But hopefully I'm wrong, because I really do like the
Storm.
Now.
Y'all see the oh.
Y'all see, like I said, stormfourth.

(11:20):
Y'all see who underneath themthe Atlanta Dream.
And I have said that theAtlanta Dream might be a scary
team at the beginning of theseason.
But if you notice, we'retalking about playoff pretenders
right now, playoff pretendersand it could be the Atlanta
Dream.
The Atlanta Dream still havethe talent to win a championship
Same with the Storm, but Istill need to see it out of them

(11:42):
.
I like Alicia Gray.
That could be their star.
I think Ryan Howard's theirstar.
But if you want to say AliciaGray could be their star too, I
ain't mad at you, but one ofthem two need to be the star and
all-star, the supportingall-star.
I think ryan howard is theall-star, is the star, and
alicia gray is the supportingall-star.
But you also got good depth too, because initially I was

(12:04):
thinking bg might be part ofthat big three, but maybe you
got a rihanna jones part of thatbig three instead, which is
telling me you got some wiggleroom to work with plus.
You got players wiggle room towork with Plus.
You got players like JordanCanada out there to help out too
.
Ladies and gentlemen, they notbet.
Nas Hillman cool.
Tiana Pau Pau is cool.
Nia Coffey cool Like they got.

(12:25):
Shatori Walker-Kimbrough iscool.
They got a cool-ass squad.
Nothing to play with.
You're not here to play Dreamor Drift, nothing to play with.
You're not here to play dreamor drift.
I'm telling y'all these girlsare out here going to get a
bucket, but there's somethingabout it that maybe it's the
coaching.
Maybe it's the coaching.
Maybe I need to observe thecoaching a little bit more,
because this team, on paper, looks solid.

(12:47):
Injuries are hurting themslightly from a cohesion
standpoint.
But again, ladies and gentlemen, we're talking about the dream
at the fifth spot with cohesionissues.
I'm not going to be too mad atthat.
I'm not, especially when I'mtalking about other teams.
No, I'm not.
Now the next team.

(13:09):
Y'all see them underneath.
A lot of people be talkingabout them.
Them Indiana Fevers Shout outto the commissioner cup champs.
You gotta six.
You know they won thechampionship for the
commissioner cup.
So, based on history, at leastover the last two seasons, you
might expect the indiana feverto go to the finals.

(13:30):
That, oh my gosh, did I saythat they might go to the finals
.
Well, who's their star?
All right, I think, on like forsocial media purposes, it's
Kaitlyn Clark, but in reality Ithink it's Aaliyah Boston.
If you want to go stats wise, yeah, y'all can look at the
points, rebounds and assists.
And again, bigs aren't reallygoing to be assisting too much,

(13:54):
but Aaliyah Boston's beenassisting pretty well actually
over the last two seasons nowand then, from a win share
perspective, aaliyah Boston'swinning, and then from a numbers
perspective, hey, she's, she's,her numbers are solid.
She was an all-star starter herfirst year too.
I don't see why it can't be aliaboston as the best player on

(14:15):
the squad, the star of the team, even though media pushes
caitlin clark.
But caitlin clark's a solidsupporting cast, all-star, wise.
Or is it kelsey mitchell who'sgiving you 19, 20 points a game
on solid shooting?
So again, they got a goodsupporting cast, but the depth,
the depth is what makes itBecause, oh my gosh, they have a

(14:36):
treasure trove of players.
They lost DeJuan Abana foolishly, which is why I think they
might not.
They're part of my pretendersstill.
They're part of my pretendersstill, but they could vault up
to that listing.
I'm telling you right now and Ihad them on my playoff teams I
did, I did, but I vaulted themup a little bit just because I

(15:00):
think they got enough what ittakes to possibly make something
shake, not to win, but overtime, if they stay together and
get that cohesion, they'll bestraight.
The coaching still got somemore things to observe, but hey,
the coaching still got somemore things to observe, but hey,
they doing all right right now.

(15:20):
So again, ladies and gentlemen,in terms of the Indiana fever,
they not bad.
And when you actually pull upagain, y'all see the team right
here Kelsey Mitchell, kaitlynClark, aaliyah Boston, natasha
Howard, ari McDonald Like dog, they're hooping.
Sophie Cunningham she hooping.
Demarius Donsis good height, like they have enough talent.

(15:42):
I'm curious now to see what thecoach does, very curious.
So again, ladies and gentlemen, when it comes to these fever,
they right here at number six,and they have a lot of potential
.
Now, another team that does havea lot of potential and I think
could be very scary if they playtheir cards right it's the Aces

(16:06):
.
I ain't going to lie to you,it's the Aces.
Yeah, and the reason why I sayAces it's not from recency bias,
it's because people havecounted them out.
Now, see, this team right herestill has some talent and I
think the star obviously is AsiaWilson.

(16:27):
Now, the supporting all-star, Ithink it's definitively Jackie
Young, and that's usually beenthe question mark.
Who going to be the supportingall-star?
Would it be Jackie?
Would it be Chelsea?
Would it be Kelsey Now Chelseagetting a little older, jewel
Lloyd replacing Kelsey and JewelLloyd trying to find her
footing, although I think Jewelmight need to come off the bench

(16:49):
as a sixth woman.
Still, give her starter minutes, but let her get her own squad
to get her own rhythm going.
But again, ladies and gentlemen, when I'm looking at the aces,
they have the pieces, they havethe depth.
I think they have enough depth, but asia gonna have to work her
tail off too.
Now.
And the coaching?
Well, they won a championshipor two right.

(17:11):
So now we get to see what thecoaching looks like.
How do you fare with not with adifferent squad?
You might think this is theworst team than the prior Aces
squads.
It could have been better.
So we still got to see, and Ithink there's potential for it
to still be better.
But again, that's wherecoaching does come into play.

(17:32):
So, ladies and gentlemen, acessquad they cool until you
realize.
Well, they about in eighthplace.
So if the playoffs were tostart today, they would barely
make the playoffs and be playingthe Minnesota Lakes, the
Minnesota Lakes.
But again, ladies and gentlemen, that does conclude my playoff

(18:00):
pretenders section.
It does, it does.
I ain't gonna lie to y'all.
It really truly does.
Now we gotta talk about here, myplayoff teams, now these I'm
gonna make these kinda quickish, right, because, well, you know,
we talked about the othersquads.
So y'all see these teams righthere.
We're going to start off withthe.
I think we're going to doWashington Mystics the reason

(18:21):
why I say Washington Mystics.
This could be the mostsurprising team that we've had
thus far this season, at leastfor me.
I knew the talent was there, but, dog, I did not expect them
to be in the playoff race aswell as they were.
Then again, it might be anotherteam too, but anyways, the star
of the squad I've said thisbefore.
I'm going to say this againBrittany Sykes is a WNBA star

(18:45):
without the cachet.
I need y'all to understand that.
Okay, now she got two youngpups with her in Sonia Citrone
and Kiki Iriefin, who wereAll-Stars this season.
They still have Aaliyah Edwardsand Shakira Austin on the squad
.
Ladies and gentlemen, eitherone of those players,
realistically, could be thesupporting All-Star to Brittany

(19:08):
Sykes right now.
Right now, and then, when wetalk about depth, I think the
bench might be in question.
But keep in mind, though, theylost georgia amore, who they
just drafted.
So they, they might be lookingI even better come next season.
But let's remember depth wise, again, only the bench I'm

(19:30):
concerned about, but they'vebeen spacing out their bench too
.
But they, they could run alineup that features Brittany
Sykes as the shortest person who5'9".
She played like she's 6'2" andeverybody else is 6'1 and above.
That would be elite.
And then we're talking aboutadding players like Stephanie
Dolson who come off the bench.
Good player, I like her.

(19:51):
So again, washington Mysticsthe only question mark I really
got is your coach, because Imean, I still got some question
marks about your coaching at theend of the day, got to observe
you a little bit more.
But if they can get the rightcoach, if the coaching is
sufficient, this WashingtonMystic team might be a little

(20:14):
scary in the next couple seasons.
So be on the lookout for them.
And when I said the mostsurprising team, ladies and
gentlemen, I do believe I mighthave messed up the reason why I
said that.
Here's why the Golden StateValkyries Now they're out of the
playoff race now Because you'renot counting 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6,
7, 8, 9.

(20:34):
Oops, wrong thing.
Now because you know I countedone, two, three, four, five, six
, seven, eight, nine oops, wrongthing, nine.
Ladies and gentlemen.
Ninth team cool.
So initially they were in theplayoff race.
That's why I say I kind of wantto take it back, because the
golden state valkyries was doingtheir thing and they don't have
as much star power, I believe,as, as the Misses did,
respectfully Golden StateValkyries, they got a chippy

(20:57):
team.
That's it.
Kayla Thornton playing her assoff right now and I love that
for her.
Champion last season, all-starthis year, first-timer, got
dropped twice, got waived twicein her career Love this for
Kayla, that's easily the star.
And then after that, who tosupport an all-star?
Well, no, there was no otherall-star on the team, but

(21:17):
Tiffany Hayes has been hooping.
Veronica Burton not bad.
Like again, ladies and gentlemen, valkyrie team they were
looking pretty impressive earlyon.
The depth is where you'relosing me a little bit.
Remember now they justassembled this team literally
this season.
So you got some question marksaround the depth as well as
coaching Everybody brandspanking new.

(21:38):
So you know I don't want toknock the Valkyries too too much
.
I was just saying I was verysurprised that they were as high
as they were, because I alsothought too they might want to
get into the lottery ranking.
You know what I'm saying.
Like I really truly thoughtthey would have been in the
lottery rankings but they had ashot for me at making the
playoffs, and I still think theycan because they're chippy, not

(21:59):
off talent, off chippiness,okay.
But maybe they also think, damn, maybe we want to get some
younger players on our team andwe need to draft higher, maybe.
So you know, maybe they, maybethey fall out the playoff race,
but as of right now, they closeenough, like respectfully the

(22:23):
bottom.
Every team that's underneaththem right now, every team I'm
disappointed in, like my SparksI'm disappointed in.
And keep in mind, ladies andgentlemen, the lottery teams for
me are as follows the Sky, mySparks, the Wings and the Sun.
All teams should belottery-based.

(22:44):
That's what I'm looking at.
I think my Sparks have thetalent to get to the playoffs.
I think the Sky have the talentto get to the playoffs.
I think the sky have the talentto get to the playoffs.
Just miss it though.
Like if my sparks can't get tothe playoffs, that's just tough.
So I thought we had more talentthan the mystics, more talent
than the valkyries.
Kelsey plum, supposed to be ourstar after she made the trade

(23:06):
request.
A little bit of pressure on you, kelsey, just a little bit of
pressure.
But again we got otherall-stars on the squad to
all-star caliber players diericahamby, azare stevens, come on
now.
Oh, y'all like rakia jacksonand just wait till when cameron
brink comes back.
But nah, we can't.
We, we, we, damn, we temp, damnwe.

(23:27):
10th Sparks.
I'm disappointed and keep inmind, over the last two seasons
we've been the worst team Onaverage, by the way, on average,
we've been the worst team overthe last two years.
Just saying that's trash Sky.
I hear you Y'all had someinjuries.
I get it.
I'd like to see better than this.

(23:48):
Like, see a little bit moreeffort.
I get it.
I'd like to see better thanthis.
Like, see a little bit moreeffort.
I do like the forwardtrajectory for some of y'all
players.
Same thing with my Sparks, butagain, like I ain't, really,
y'all can do it, y'all canimprove Dallas Wings, matter of
fact.
Let's do this, let's do this.
I'm going to just show y'allwhat we're talking about
team-wise.
My Los Angeles Sparks, becausethis has got to be, you know

(24:11):
what I'm saying.
This has got to beheartbreaking at this point in
time.
So my Los Angeles Sparks, asy'all can see.
Like I said, kelsey Plum y'allsee what she's doing.
De'erica Hamby, azareh StevensLike we got solid playersty.
Emma Cannon Like we have adecent enough bench.
It'd just be nice when CameronBrink comes back.

(24:32):
Like I said, we got our star inKelsey Plum.
Star in Kelsey Plum Supportingall stars in De'Arica and Azareh
Should be able to get the jobdone.
Now, when we're looking atChicago Oops, when we're looking
at Chicago, saved the worst forlast.
Looking at Chicago, saved theworst for last.
Looking at Chicago, ladies andgentlemen, they right next to us
.
Like again, I showed y'all thisis where they are right.

(24:56):
Boom, we right here, they rightthere.
Tragic Bronson Now go righthere though.
Angel Reese she doing prettywell 14, 13, 4.
That's not bad.
2 and1, rounding up, of course, that's not bad.
The efficiency has gone up aswell 45% from the field, yeah,
21% from the three, but she wasnever a three-point shooter ever

(25:18):
.
And then we're talking about78% from the free throw line.
That's solid.
Keep in mind Ariel AtkinsReally impressive numbers.
I really appreciate ArielAtkins.
Always been a good hooper.
Low-key Shout out to theMystics.
So they had her at one point intime recently, carmela Cardoza
supporting all-star caliberplayer.
I think Ariel can be too.
She was voted as an all-star atone point in time.

(25:38):
You also got CourtneyVanderSloot training up Haley
VanLift.
Then you got players likeMichaela Anuare, kayla Oniware.
I like the bones of the Liberty.
Just got to develop them alittle bit more.
Just got to develop them.
But definitely a lottery teamfor certain.
Now the Dallas Wings.
Ladies and gentlemen, I toldy'all where they are right.

(26:02):
Y'all see where they are Secondfrom the bottom as a page, like
I hate it for them.
I do hate it for them Becausemy thing is I'm a Paige Beckers
fan, like y'all see the jersey.
I'm a Dallas.
I like the wings.
I genuinely do.
I just think they're going togo through a little bit of

(26:25):
reconstruction right after, maybe after this season, maybe
after this season, maybe afterthis season.
I can see them trying to look togo a different direction with
Enrique and have Paige be thefocus, especially when we're
looking at well, paige istopping and scoring and assists,
steals.

(26:47):
Is she doing blocks?
No, no, close, very close toleading the team in blocks.
That's a problem for me.
That's a problem for me.
She's doing way too much Arike.
I need to see a little bit moreout of you, and I love Arike, I
really, truly do.
But for them not to trade you,you have to do a little bit more

(27:08):
scoring.
And she's a dog.
Enrique can get a bucket, butright now we got to wonder who's
the star, who's the supportingall-star, respectfully.
And then the depth.
Well, they got a couple ofplayers.
They lost Melissa, they got it.
They're trying to find outtheir depth.
I'm not going to lie to you,it's not the best.
And then the coaching.

(27:28):
The coaching is questionable aswell too.
I ain't going to hold you Callit a spade a spade.
So again, I get why the DallasWings are there, but, damn, I
just really wish we could do alittle bit different.
And finally, ladies andgentlemen, and finally we got to
talk about here the ConnecticutSun.
Now, let's remember theConnecticut Sun.

(27:49):
They have been going through alot.
Tina Charles Try not to beslanderous when I make this
statement.
Tina Charles is their all-star,all-star caliber player.
They also got Marina Mabry too.
I think Tina is better thanMarina, but that's a solid,
solid, like supporting all-starand and star caliber players.

(28:14):
The depth is where you're losingme, because you, you, you have
some players.
They're like living nelson dotais cool, y'all just trying to
train up your young pups at thistime.
So again, depth.
We're at the development stages.
And then coaching is it unfairto assess?
I got some question marks.
Still, I'm sorry, it's tough.

(28:36):
You know what?
If it's fair for me to rate theValkyries coach, I'm going to
rate this too, very lackluster.
I'm going to call it spade tospade and we can say it's unfair
because of the team and itsdevelopment season.
But I would like to see morethan three games won.
That's all I'm saying.
But again, I guess other teamsonly have six games.
So maybe three ain't too bad,but damn, it's just bad.

(28:58):
It's just bad.
And you have enough talent towin more than three games.
That's how I feel.
But, ladies and gentlemen, again, y'all see the stand-ins.
Y'all know what we talkingabout.
So, second half of the WNBAseason, it's about to get on and
popping.
So I'm curious Did I mess up?

(29:19):
Like matter of fact?
Yeah, y'all let me know.
Did I mess up any Huh?
Like did I call it?
Do y'all like my lottery teams?
How about my just genericplayoff teams?
Were y'all cool with thepretenders?
How about the?
How about the real playoffcontenders.
Did I mess up on anything, ladies and gentlemen?
Comment below, let me know.
