Episode 36 is one truly not to miss!
We are joined today by founder of Lucy Bee, Lucy Buckingham - a truly inspiring & humble individual who has created a Fairtrade brand and was one of the first brands to bring Coconut oil to our supermarket shelves..
Lot’s of laughs, honest conversations & amazing advice from Lucy in this weeks episode!
Lucy was diagnosed as a coeliac from a young age, making her parents look closely at the food she was consuming - this led her to being more mindful of what she was consuming & leading a healthy lifestyle. Lucy was introduced to Coconut oil and used it when she was working as a masseuse and saw lot’s of benefits - her Dad recognised a gap in the market and started the side hustle… Lucy Bee.
Lucy Bee sources coconut oil from around the world and is not just stocking coconut oil but a huge range of products and now stepping into the cosmetics industry. What is so inspiring is the knowledge and passion from Lucy around the importance of being a fair trade brand and most importantly giving back to the communities they work with across the world.
We discuss her working relationship with Joe wicks (The Body Coach) and how that grew organically - to how she grew the brand through her own story.
We talk about social media and the real affects on our mental health, how she tackles anxiety & feeling motivated!

Join me on this podcast as I navigate the murky waters of human behavior, current events, and personal anecdotes through in-depth interviews with incredible people—all served with a generous helping of sarcasm and satire. After years as a forensic and clinical psychologist, I offer a unique interview style and a low tolerance for bullshit, quickly steering conversations toward depth and darkness. I honor the seriousness while also appreciating wit. I’m your guide through the twisted labyrinth of the human psyche, armed with dark humor and biting wit.
