This week Jo Hausman interviews the extraordinary Paul Hopfensperger! He achieved his lifelong goals of becoming the 873rd person in history to swim the English Channel! And in 2008 he did it again to become only the 84th person in history to do it twice! That takes guts and perseverance! Then In the same year, he became the oldest known person to represent Great Britain at swimming when he competed in two FINA World Cup Open Water Grand Prix swims in Serbia and Mexico respectively. Then is 2010, he completed his third crossing of the English Channel as part of a six person relay team. Paul will talk to us about how he did these magnificent feats and what kept him going through the training and the actual events. So many quit and the few are the exceptions to keep going and make it happen! Paul is one of the few. Paul has a upbeat personality and his story is so compelling! You won't want to miss this!
