Warner Bros cannot leave the character alone for a minute. There have been so many takes on Superman some more enjoyable than others and this one spins out of the “Arrowverse”. This though is something different because it shows a fully matured and developed Superman with a family.
Honestly, this is refreshing because it adds something that really is missing from live action Superman ethos and that is how he is more human than the people he protects in many instances. He is performing next to impossible feats just a few minutes into the pilot episode yet from the soundtrack to his narration it is grounded emotionally.
