My Grandson and I watch Boomerang and Cartoon Network heavily but he prefers Boomerang and when we watch the classic Tom & Jerry Cartoons. There is nothing better than the senseless feud that seems to have gone as long as many of us can remember. Now we get a new movie now with Michael Pena (Ant-Man) and Chloë Grace Moretz (Kick Ass) and here are my thoughts…
Kid movies with subtle lessons and easter eggs for the adults are common place now. We get this all the time from the major animation players and the use of classic cartoon characters to cash in on the nostalgia element of many of us adults. Tom & Jerry is no difference. We know the basic premise Cat vs Mouse and watching this movie plays that to the max but it is missing something I just can’t place my finger on.
