Pastor Mike Jurek shares that hearing from God is rooted in the Bible, but it flourishes through spiritual discernment. As spiritual beings, we are invited to commune daily with the Holy Spirit who dwells within us. This closeness to God means His thoughts and guidance are never far away. It’s up to us to tune in.
He also highlights that the deeper things of God are spiritually discerned, not simply figured out with our minds. Growth in the Spirit takes time, nourishment, and practice, much like developing strength or wisdom in life. As we grow, God reveals more of His truth, leading us into a closer walk with Him.
