As few as 8 percent of people achieve their New Year’s resolutions, yet up to 45 percent of Americans make them anyway. So why make New Year’s resolutions? They’re silly. But, is it not worth doing something silly?

Good News: A Podcast is back with a colon, not a dash, a new logo and a new structure. With all that change, there’s still good news and news to know.

In good news, with 2018 behind us, a number of media outlets published compilations of good news that happened during the year. Some of the stories include, in Saudi Arabia, women are finally able to drive, the U.S. saw its highest voter turnout in a midterm election in a century, the entire Thai soccer team was rescued from a cave, and China's ban of ivory in 2017 helped decrease elephant poaching in 2018. For more good news, take a listen.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
