Welcome back to new episodes of Good News: A Podcast. A special thanks to Craig Jessup who sent me some listener good news last month which helped bring this show back. In good news this week, we've got dogs sheltering from hurricane delta, an ice cream store employing individuals with special needs getting a big donation, and IKEA going greener in addition to more good news.
Starting this episode, I'm going to be doing a community spotlight which features organizations and individuals doing great work in their community. This episode, it's the Jason R. Flood Memorial. This organization works in the greater Derry, NH area to help kids, young adults and parents with education and helping to create safe spaces to talk about mental health, mental illness and suicide. I've personally worked with this organization before and seen the positive impact it's had on the community.
To support the Jason R. Flood Memorial in their efforts to secure a $20,000 head to this link: https://www.primarybanknh.com/com.../primary-bank-gives-back.
Help Good News: A Podcast raise $3500 in the next 30 days to start having weekly episodes come out again. In the meantime, look forward to new episodes coming out every other week starting this Friday for the next 30 days.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist
It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
