This story features a team-up with the Fantastic Four, and the X-Men's old villain-turned-ally, Arkon! -We then leave the X-Books into uncharted waters, making first time visits to Marvel Fanfare #1-4! -Marvel Fanfare #1 & #2 feature the writing of Chris Claremont and the art of Michael Golden. Angel and Spider-Man team up to search the Savage Land for Karl Lykos, and there's a Ka-Zar appearance! -Marvel Fanfare #3 is written by Claremont and is graced with the art team of Dave Cockrum and Bob McLeod. Angel brings in The X-Men to face the threat of Sauron! -Marvel Fanfare #4 is written by Claremont and features Paul Martin Smith's first X-Men story. You have to see it to believe this conclusion to the Sauron quadrilogy!
