“I’m a fan of superheroes they're a good example of how its within the human potential to push beyond difficulty and to come out ok in the end” -DDThis episode features Dave Donnelly from a town close to Glasgow, Scotland. He is a musician and a good friend. Dave now plays the Alto Sax professionally but started with a simple recorder in school. His influences to play the sax stem from listening to the British band, ‘Madness’ that his dad often played; along with his brother playing the sax.  Dave now gets to travel the world being part of cruise ship orchestras.“I think humans spend a lot of time trying to preserve what we have and to make sure what we have lasts and I think it’s important to realize it won’t, it doesn’t. In this existence as far as we know, nothing actually lasts forever. Not a thing in this reality”. -DDRobert will never forget the first time he met Dave. Even though it was in a busy crew hallway, he took the time to stop and be present. They chatted and seized a moment of kindness without rushing off to the next agenda. Dave reminds Robert of the character Big Max from Big Hero 6 for the descriptive reasoning stated above.“You know the saying, ‘All Good Things Must Come to an End’ ? Well I think that applies to everything. Absolutely everything. Our lives, our race, our existence. . .etcetera. But there are people that concentrate so hard on making their money off that industry or business, that they don't want to let that go.” -DDDave strives to be a good guy and friend which most people that meet him would believe he is successful at. Not being in a hurry and being open to what different people, places and circumstances can offer you is key. Dave is passionate about travelling and open to how he grows through the adventures. He is proud to be Scottish yet doesn’t conform to stereotypes.“At this point in time, I am trying to develop myself but with no particular time limit on it. I am just seeing how the world influences me, how people’s ideas and things can change the way I think.” -DD“I haven’t been bored in ages. I don’t know why.” -DD“I just don’t think, it’s perfect.” -DDThe theme of this ‘Weekly Quest’ is ROMANCE. If you have someone special in your life, tell them 3 things you like about them. If you do not have someone at this point and you see someone you like, say just 1 nice thing to them because 3 would be creepy to a stranger.TUNE IN NEXT WEEK FOR ANOTHER GREAT EPISODE.
