Will Hogsett Team Change Protocols?

Five months after an outside law firm recommended changes to how the city manages sexual misconduct allegations, it's still unclear when — or if — the Indianapolis City-County Council will implement any of those reforms.

to examine the city's existing protocols. It suggests changes after

four that multiple women accused Thomas Cook, the former top
eight of Mayor Joe hog Set the Music Is Power,
sexually harassing and assaulting them. Also, Mayor Joe hog Set

was kind of accused of some inappropriate conduct, not as severe,
I don't think as Thomas Carl Cook, but equally as creepy. Yeah.

They said that one of the things that Mayor howk
Set wanted in there was allegedly just to hire mutes
so they couldn't tell on him anymore, don't.

I don't. I'm looking for that in this in this
report eight eight at higher mutes, I don't see that.
So reading from the Indie Star final report included two
main recommendations from this this this outside firm. The city
should establish an independent Office of Inspector General to investigate

allegations of misconduct, especially those involving elected or appointed officials. Duh, yeah, obviously.
And human resources divisions should be removed from the hog
Set administration. You think, like you're going to go to
the Human.

It, right right. They didn't. They set up some hotline
or something like that, and they had several calls of
uh this hotline that would take messages and say like, yeah,
this is the abuse that I've suffered underneath the hog
Seat administration.

Favorite calling this is Mayor hawk Set's office.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
How can I help you? Many employee the employees the
firm saying may not want to confide in the HR department.
You think several counselors argued, so long as it's housed
with the same within the same administration where cooks Thomas
Carl Cook's alleged alleged yeah misconduct.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
So what you're saying is is they got together, spent
four hundred and fifty thousand dollars for a law firm
to give them recommendations and they haven't even done them yet.
And those are the recommendations, and they're obviously you could
have done that for free.

And there were some odd affiliations with the law firm
as well with hawk Set's office. It's all that stuff.
