supported since he's been there with the Cowboys. He showed
out and I know he's got that in him, and
of course we ain't got no defense, so he's gonna
have to come consistently do that and bring other people
to the party, and they're gonna have to help this man.
You know what I'm saying. He's capable of doing that.
I just don't want the people to turn on him

when he's got to score thirty eight and he's done
it all game, and then he gets down there and
may formble of something God forbid or throw an interception,
and they turn on them, like most of them do anyway,
because they just don't like them. So I hope that
don't happen. So I hope the defense does step up,
which brings me to the second day. Y'all know I
gave that to y'all three years ago. Discipline, accountability, inconsistency.
And I told y'all, until we get that, Until we

on defense. Cats who want to do it. We're not

you know way too much. The way you be breaking
those defensive down and you be explaining stuff nobody else
really does that. Nate does a great job of that too,
but he gets he gets frustrated with the team.

only plays when he wants to because he didn't show

wants to, but some reason he just he doesn't do
it all the time.

What's your thoughts on the coll about Jesse leading you
back on the show.
Speaker 8 (44:41):
Well, I'm actually I actually feel pretty good because I
think normally in the past we would have lost the
game like that. I think Shoty is trying to change
the culture and he's got a little something that you
can see. It's a difference. I think the only mistake
was made in this off season was that I think
Stephen wanted Eble Fruits and shot It probably want to
bring none on of those young guys like he got

on the offense. You see got the offensive advances even
fuse to just he's good, But I never liked that
Rob Mary Now the style of defense that Tony done.
The defense because you got to have those four ballers
up front. If you don't have those four balls on
that D line, that defense is not gonna it's not
gonna work. And he when he left Chicago, he was
hurt like Mike mcclockett was hurt when he left Green Bay.
(45:22):
When those coaches get hurt and they feelings get hurt
like that, it take him a while. And some of
them never make it back from being hurt and kick
to the curve like that. You know, they're always trying
to prove something. I think all of the players on
the defense, they're not playing as one. Everybody's chasing the
ghosts of y'all. They trying to be d on, they
trying to be nate. But the offensive players are not
chasing those ghosts. It's just those defensive players chasing those ghosts.

And Jessein you right about Treyvon. It's in his head,
you know, him and his brother. They let their social
media and all that other world mess with their head
too much. That's why they can't play like they like
they can, because they got too much of that stuff
that know us in their head. He just got to
get that noise out of his head and probably get
saved or something like that so he can get that

away from him.

I like that because if you ain't because if you
ain't got God. You can't. You can't block out that noise.
You know what I'm saying because the Delver, the Delver
was a master of confuson. He doesn't care if you're

at Walmart, he gonna get it. He's gonna try to
mess you up.

because when you talk about like the Tampa two and
that defense stuff like that, like Tony Dungeon's is one
of the forefathers of that defense. And they asked Tony
Dungee about the comment that Jerry Jones said about in
this defense, how you can manufacture pressure, and Tony Dungee laughed.

Hysterically because you can't.

He said, you can't, he said, he said, you know
what helped me run the Tampa two and run the
Cover two. He said, God's like Simeon Rice, god like
and sad gods like Brooks and Lynch. And he's not
naming off some other guys that he had on his team.
He goes, he said, you man, he and it wasn't
like a sarcastic ha ha ha ha. It was like

a belly laugh like it was. It was funny to
him for someone to even say that. And this is
Tony Dungee. We're talking about engineer, the the the whole thing.
Like he's He's like, and Tony Dungee belly laughed at
the fact that you could manufacture pressure in this defense.
