It's hot in here, Chris Warm.
Speaker 2 (02:13):
That's because of.
Speaker 4 (02:16):
Man, what were you guys doing?
Speaker 3 (02:17):
Were grab asking after the after the show?
Speaker 2 (02:21):
He was just home.
Speaker 7 (02:23):
With one another.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
We was get him shutting.
Speaker 8 (02:26):
Literally, we were just standing right out there watching practice.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
I know you haven't.
Speaker 8 (02:30):
We were just having the Chris some conversation Chris.
Speaker 3 (02:32):
Because let's start the show and see how long it
takes it to figure out that we are actually live.
He's yelling at y'all, we are starting the show.
Speaker 8 (02:40):
Just having We were just standing right there outside of
the studio having the greatest of conversations.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
Just see what happened. I'm gonna telling you the truth
was out there. Someone else's fault. But go ahead. Three No.
It was three brothers out there talking and one of
the brothers said, Nate hate black quarterback, just to say
I do too. That's what the conversation was about.
Speaker 3 (03:09):
Hold on, we got the show, but it's too white, dude.
Speaker 2 (03:14):
Well, welcome to the show.
Speaker 7 (03:15):
Glad y'all made it all right? Nice shirt? What is that, Jesse?
Speaker 8 (03:19):
I like the shirt?
Speaker 3 (03:20):
Yeah, little ceed Lamb and pickings.
Speaker 8 (03:24):
Yeah. I don't know her sister's names, but but Cat,
what's her dad name? He does our Spanish.
Speaker 3 (03:34):
Radio, Oh, Victor Alba.
Speaker 8 (03:37):
Yeah, so Cat the Alba. Her sister made this, and
she said and she showed me, and I was like,
I need one. She's like, well, I don't want to.
I don't want to get anybody. I said, sidme the
shirt is send me the shirt. I'll tell him. And
I text her earlier to get the information because a
lot of people been asking me where can they get
this shirt from? And she never text me back. But uh,
but yeah.
Speaker 4 (03:56):
That's nice. That's never seen that picture before.
Speaker 3 (03:59):
Yeah, like at a high school or something, working out
taking a break, no clue, a little fence behind him.
Speaker 8 (04:04):
I'm goost send a picture of send it to CD
and see what he thinks about it.
Speaker 7 (04:07):
Yeah, I like it.
Speaker 4 (04:08):
It's tight. I wish we could see them on the
field together this week. Boy, that won't happen.
Speaker 2 (04:13):
So you get two cornerbacks on the field.
Speaker 7 (04:16):
Yeah, let's talk about that.
Speaker 4 (04:18):
There we go, that's what we call going to a transition.
Speaker 3 (04:21):
There to go, Nate, all right, is that a good thing? Well,
they were both Digs and Blands who were talking about
full go and practice yesterday, and Kurt put together a
little stat and he said, it's pretty incredible that in
the last three seasons, including twenty twenty five, they've only
been on the field together in four games.
Speaker 4 (04:40):
Wow, that's unbelievable. That's unbelievable.
Speaker 3 (04:44):
How big is that for this team this week for
both of those guys to be And here's the other part.
Speaker 4 (04:53):
How healthy are they going to be?
Speaker 3 (04:54):
And are they healthy enough to make a difference or
is that almost a handicap if they're not full go?
Speaker 8 (05:02):
That's a lot you're just putting that question.
Speaker 4 (05:04):
Yeah, just answer the question.
Speaker 2 (05:05):
Just answer is after the game. I don't want to
hear Hey, well, you know they ain't played together a while,
and you know they gonna take some time. If we're
gonna hear that right there.
Speaker 8 (05:20):
Here's why it's good because you have these are your
two best corners. Yes, but like this is is it?
Speaker 4 (05:27):
You know, hands down?
Speaker 8 (05:28):
Hands down? We don't know what rebel is. We don't
you know, I don't even know God, I don't know
where I don't know what seatbelts at, I don't I
don't know where he's at.
Speaker 2 (05:36):
I don't know where he's at.
Speaker 8 (05:38):
You know, you got Ready and Tarquez and these two
are your very best corners. And if this is a
week where I believe that we finally have to be
able to live up to the things that Jerry Jernales
said when he made the trade back in August at
the podium that you can manufacture and for those of
(05:58):
you are listening, I'm doing my air quotes that you
can manufacture pressure. Well, that means you're going to have
to bring more guys than you're your down four because
they haven't been cutting it. So now you're gonna have
to add an insert the sixth seventh guy into play
to manufacture pressure.
Speaker 2 (06:20):
Well.
Speaker 8 (06:21):
That means if I'm bringing six to seven dudes, that
means only four dudes are on the back end. That
means you're probably gonna have to play a little bit
more man coverage or quarters coverage. And these are the
guys who you've paid this year, in the year's past
to be able to hold up against any sort of
receiver and any sort of passing game. So if now
(06:43):
is ever the moment where you're trying to generate pass
pressure or pressure in general, you'd like to have your
two best corners out there playing football. So that's the
that's the positive part of those two guys playing together
for what this will be the fifth time you said
fifth time together, playing for the last two three years.
(07:04):
So that's the good part is that you have two
corners that you hope are are able to communicate, are
able to adjust, are able to cover, are able to
you know, hear the one word they call, and whatever
the coverage is, you hope that's a part of this
defensive scheme for this week.
Speaker 3 (07:24):
At least you've had at least you now have guys
on the field that have proven that they can do
that in the past. Now, whether they do that this
Sunday or not, there's.
Speaker 5 (07:33):
A whole different story because they are, you know, kind
of on their own islands. There isn't like, is there
a chemistry missing at all because they're out there.
Speaker 8 (07:41):
No, because again, what I do over here doesn't impact
you over there, you know what I mean. They're not
playing off each other. And now it could be the
part of you know, if I'm on from boundary side,
if from field side, who's my safety, who we're working
with back there? That's where that communication comes in the
play of you know that we're all on the same
page and and so hopefully hopefully it works. Coach Schottenheimer
(08:07):
talked about that they they went defensively, they went to
the meeting and they everyone but the but the defensive linemen,
and they were watching plays and they would have the
play come out, the formation would come out on the screen,
and everybody in the room is sitting comfortably in a
meeting room and an air conditioner calling out what the
call is and hope that this helps with the communication.
(08:28):
So we'll see. But like to his credit, he also
said easier said than them, and we're sitting in a
meeting room and everything is comfortable and there's no adversity,
and guys, aren't you aren't tied, you aren't hurt.
Speaker 4 (08:38):
This is it, you know.
Speaker 8 (08:41):
So he's like, this is but We're trying to mitigate
any miscommunication throughout what we want to call for this game.
Speaker 3 (08:48):
All right, let's just get it out of our system.
Let's just Michael Parsons. Let's get it out this week.
Speaker 2 (08:55):
That'sought.
Speaker 4 (08:56):
We did that yesterday we did. But you just here's
another point.
Speaker 3 (08:58):
Yeah, I want to get you as an offensive lineman
going against a former teammate that you practiced against hundreds
of times. Right, who is it more beneficial for in
this game, the offensive lineman knowing Michaeh or Micah knowing
the offensive lineman.
Speaker 2 (09:17):
I hate to be simple, but it goes to the
best player.
Speaker 8 (09:20):
I was sticking to sa in my head. In my head,
I'm like, now.
Speaker 2 (09:27):
You know how many people don't practice against Michael Jordan
and he don't win it abused facts just to you
know him. That goes to the best player.
Speaker 3 (09:36):
Yep, just because you I'm better, better, better you, I'm better,
doesn't matter.
Speaker 8 (09:42):
I'm better.
Speaker 2 (09:43):
And see I'll give you example. When Nate Thomas was
practicing against Jared Verst in training camp. The first thing
I called back and told y'all, hey, first in, Colm,
I hope this kid don't fool himself. If you have
to ride up playing these dudes later on, which we
he ain't playing them. So and then you see Verse
against Philadelphia just bringing it, you know what we're talking
(10:09):
about partsions. Yeah, let's don't go there.
Speaker 3 (10:12):
So all the talk about Parsons this week, but there
hasn't been hardly any talk about Kenny Clark playing against
his former team.
Speaker 2 (10:20):
And because he's not Parsons.
Speaker 3 (10:22):
Right, but is this is this going to be a
big game for him because he's got a lot to
prove and hopefully he's over there like, hey, I was
part of this deal too, Like I'm not I'm not
chopped liver over here, I'm not spam, Like, is this
this opportunity for him to step up and really make
an impact on the you know, steal the headlines.
Speaker 2 (10:40):
Because their center didn't play well last week against Cleveland.
Their center but a lot of guys struggled, but their
center struggled last week, missed them blocks, got beat a
couple of times. I don't think he gave up a sack,
And I'm not sure you need to go back and
look at the film. Clark is a player, he is nice,
(11:02):
But once again, I'm gonna say this right here, you
know what would make it sweeter for Clark if he
had somebody that can alleviate some of those double teams.
Speaker 8 (11:15):
Oh you mean, like how last week when the Cleveland Browns,
when the good old MALIEK. Collins, Yeah, able to mess
up and beat up that center because why I don't know,
another dude number ninety five out there. They were like, hey,
we're all going this way, Malik, you go ahead and
take this center by yourself, one on one, because we're
gonna go over here and try to stop this cyboard.
But that matters, like that matters in the grad scheme
(11:37):
of things, because again we're talking about, all right, are
the cowboys going to manufacture pressure if you're gonna go
with the same four man front. I wasn't the greatest
person in math.
Speaker 2 (11:50):
I just wasn't.
Speaker 8 (11:51):
It's not I can count money. I can make it.
I can count it. You know, I'm count of dollars.
If you count coverages, I can count coverage just I
can do that.
Speaker 4 (11:58):
But so anything under about eleven or under your.
Speaker 8 (12:02):
We get to that, we get to that a little
bit past multiplication, we get to that. Algeb bro, I'm out,
you don't need these days. And then I gotta, I gotta,
I'm good and chat gibt right, Chris to Sacks, chat GPT.
They'll tell you everything you need to know.
Speaker 4 (12:18):
Yes, But.
Speaker 8 (12:23):
For if they're going to rush four and the Office
of Line has five, we just look at each other
and go, who's the most difficult dude that we have
to block.
Speaker 4 (12:32):
On their team?
Speaker 8 (12:34):
Oh, Kenny, no problem. Guard if he's if he's over there,
if he's in you know, zero, over the over the center,
one of you gotta help, depending on what shade he
is on side of the center. That's what we're going
to help. We're gonna go to him, and then we're
gonna say, well, oh so you have to go and beat.
As a rocker, you have to go and beat one
on one. But I got five guys to block four.
That's the part where it is where you have to
(12:59):
figure out what you want to do. Because he's not
like Chinny Clark is a good player. He's not a
good enough player where he's going to consistently beat double
teams and make life miserable for you if you give
him one on one enough times. Yeah, he'll create some pressure.
He'll split a double team every now and again. But
(13:21):
for the most part, they'll win that battle because there
will always be two guys hammering down on him every
single play.
Speaker 2 (13:28):
And then when you're talking about after about twenty five
to thirty plays, if he's a smart player, he's continue
to trying to figure out where's this soft spot, where's
this soft spot? So he could be bouncing back and
forth the whole game and never get there. It's just
amazing that we have not had any pressure, constant pressure.
(13:52):
That's what it takes when the game get tight, When
when you're going back and forth and the game is
tight before the half four minutes left in the game, everybody,
every team, whether it's a good record or bad record,
a coach can stand up for his player. Who is
that player that we say, man, we we down by three.
(14:16):
We need to play who is your defensive player where
you're gonna say, man, this dude, he'll he gonna make
something happen, whether it's indirectly or directly.
Speaker 8 (14:24):
Right now, we don't. We don't see that guy. You
need to Mariolo Rivera. Who's the closer? Yes, who's a
guy that can come in and close it. That's that's
an important piece.
Speaker 5 (14:35):
Yes, the talking about manufacturing pressure. I mean the stat yesterday.
I mean there's seventh in pressure when they blitz, and
they're like twenty eighth when they don't. I mean, should
there be blitzing more? Should that be part of this
manufacturing pressure thing?
Speaker 8 (14:53):
Not?
Speaker 2 (14:54):
Right right now? I think the coaches know who the
players are and they look at him say this is
what he can do. Now you're at that point where
now how do I start fitting them to be a team?
Because I know what they can do. The bullets have
been fired. We you know, we shot at the target
twenty times. Now I know what this rifle can do. Okay,
(15:16):
so now we should if this what is it?
Speaker 9 (15:20):
What is that?
Speaker 2 (15:22):
Analog? An analytics? The analytics say this is what you
should do. Excuse me, man, The analytics say this is
what you should do. Why don't you do it? You know?
And I'm sorry laugh.
Speaker 8 (15:37):
Analytics to say one thing. But then we have to
take analytics and we have to go. But when I
do it, we give up forty our bombs because in
order to in order to go and get pressure, I
have to be willing to guard dudes on the back end.
Speaker 2 (15:50):
But that is not all right. I mean, yes, you
got to understand that it was not because.
Speaker 8 (16:03):
The Cowboys lead the National Football firteen big plays thirteen.
Speaker 2 (16:08):
And three but have over half of those. Is because
guys were running free. I'm saying, if you cover these
guys or run alongside these guys, then that the analytics
may take over. Yeah.
Speaker 8 (16:23):
But again we're saying the same thing if.
Speaker 2 (16:26):
I say a bunch, Jerry, Jerry, and that means now
they got it backed down because hey, Shannon, that means something.
So they ain't gonna know who to cover now in
the backfit.
Speaker 8 (16:37):
But see here's the thing, no, no, no, See, the call
is to telling you what the defense is.
Speaker 10 (16:40):
Right.
Speaker 8 (16:42):
Their problem has been when gods start to shifting in
the moving, what is the next step out?
Speaker 2 (16:47):
And they have a name. So when you move, Hey, Kurt,
you got a name.
Speaker 8 (16:54):
Now now you're starting Jerry, they move, you call Kurt. Yeah,
and then they move again. You call Shannon, Shannon. Somebody's
gonna forget that. Somebody gonna go wait wait, we and
Kurt weish way.
Speaker 4 (17:06):
But they're practicing over there.
Speaker 7 (17:08):
Yes right, yes, guy, they said they got it.
Speaker 8 (17:11):
Somebody gonna go away. You said what I thought you said?
We were in Kurt, No, man, we went in.
Speaker 4 (17:17):
They didn't move.
Speaker 8 (17:17):
It was in, Jerry, you sure he ain't move? I
thought you said, that's even.
Speaker 3 (17:21):
That's the as the guys crossing the goal one ten
yards behind everybody, they poured each other across the field.
Speaker 2 (17:27):
Go, you said, Jerry, he said, you thought you said Kurt.
Speaker 7 (17:30):
Now he said, Kurt. I said, Jerry, you said.
Speaker 2 (17:32):
You know what this reminds me of. You want to
go to a breaking We'll come back and I tell.
Speaker 4 (17:36):
You who's on first.
Speaker 2 (17:42):
Say, this reminds me of another coach which I would
call his name, David Shuler. Before every game we played.
He was big on the offensive line, calling over under,
call it, trying to call the protection and stuff like that.
At him, calling out Troy and all of this, and
(18:03):
we'll do this before running film Troy what she got here?
Troy called him, say what is this name? And we
went on and on and on. But boy, the next
day when that fire came, just like you said earlier,
next day, with that heat was coming, when New York
was bringing Lawrence tail off that edge you're hearing go back,
(18:24):
everybody forgot.
Speaker 8 (18:25):
I'm telling you.
Speaker 2 (18:26):
I averaged me. I averaged me by two or three
off sides. Here starting to go back.
Speaker 8 (18:30):
You're looking at that he's he breathing hard. You forget,
you would be shocked into me just how many times
a joker would break the huddle and you get lined
up and you go dog over top of you, You
go you. Now you're so locked in on what you
gotta do. How am I gonna defeat.
Speaker 2 (18:44):
The dude coming out?
Speaker 8 (18:45):
And then you're like, you're like, damn, count, what's the count?
Speaker 2 (18:54):
Now you late get up the ball.
Speaker 8 (18:55):
You don't want to jump, and now you're like, what
what do I have? Then they start to check, Quarterbacks
are yelling at you. He changing the play you like,
and you know it's gonna run straight.
Speaker 2 (19:05):
And this and this is the funny thing about uh,
this is the funny thing about all of it when
nobody fusses at you because they don't know either. When
when you see a bunch of guys just huddling up
and you don't see nobody going, it's like, man, hey
was your turn this time? Maybe it's me next time?
Speaker 4 (19:26):
What Mike Tyson say?
Speaker 3 (19:27):
Everybody got a plan to get pressed at every time?
Speaker 2 (19:31):
So I'm hoping this thing work. That coach is devised.
I really hope it works.
Speaker 4 (19:35):
We'll find out Sunday night.

show by blockchain dot com. Thank you blockchain dot com.
Are we how much clown here are we going to
see this week? Talking about pressure and maybe being able
to make the coach say all we can get said
fifteen snaps maybe.
Speaker 8 (22:11):
Somewhere in between there fifteen twenty.
Speaker 3 (22:13):
You think he's gonna be just situational or will they
put him in some run run don't do that stuff,
don't do that, just situational, just past pass past.
Speaker 8 (22:24):
Well, I have a strong feeling in my core this
is just no. I'll save it because it's gonna be
a part of my my status stat.
Speaker 2 (22:36):
Yeah, okay, all right, save it, Yeah, I'll save it.
All right.
Speaker 3 (22:41):
I don't even know how to transition to this, but
we'll transition to it because Kurk it's a great stat.
And then maybe we'll take phone calls call us eight
eight eight eight five five two two nine seven.
Speaker 7 (22:50):
The refs for this game were the same ref.
Speaker 4 (22:54):
The same referee.
Speaker 3 (22:55):
The head referee is the same one that was the
and the playoff loss to Green Bay Dallas is two
and eight when he refs their games. Is that a
coincidence or do certain refs just because I know that's
the thing. Now, I know Broadest does a segment and
he breaks down like, here's the officiating crew and here's
how they call, and here's how they do this, and
(23:16):
I know they they study it and they tell the
team over there like this.
Speaker 7 (23:19):
Is what these guys will call.
Speaker 4 (23:21):
This is what this crew does.
Speaker 3 (23:23):
Are there's some crews that just don't match up well
with teams or is it like, hey, just be better,
just be better, And.
Speaker 8 (23:30):
It's you may have a crew that's very stringent and
strict on where you are deficient. If this crew comes
in here and they're like, man, this crew is like,
like you said, the stats are out there, this cu
this crew calls a lot of offensive holding and you
having a bad office a holding year. It's not every
time you run into that crew, this is what it's
(23:50):
going to be. Although that's the head official, this is
what it's going to be. So sometimes it's just it's
just the luck of the draw or the bad luck
of the draw. You just get a crew that just
doesn't fit with what you are bad at, or you
know you do a lot.
Speaker 2 (24:04):
A lot they do fit what you're bad as.
Speaker 3 (24:06):
Right, So, were there were there was that a big
deal back when you play better with their certain games
like hey, be better and coach and coach Johnson was
ahead of the game.
Speaker 2 (24:18):
He'd be like, man, he's official Hill, y'all, but he
always coach, be better, coach your players, coaches.
Speaker 8 (24:24):
And another thing that coaches will do, and that's the
boatht of the Cowboys do it. Another teams do it
as well, is when they get when they look at
that stat and they go, this crew is really big
on pick a pick a penalty, right, whatever it is
pre game, everybody walking out there, I'll walk up to
the ref. Hey, man, you really got to look at
number sixty for their tame because man holding like he
(24:45):
is holding.
Speaker 2 (24:46):
Man.
Speaker 8 (24:47):
You watch film this week and that guy.
Speaker 4 (24:48):
Is That's what they did the LP and Washington, And.
Speaker 8 (24:51):
All you're doing is I'm planting the seed. I'm planting
the seed. And in the first quarter, I'm like, hey, man, hey,
watch that holding sixty. He is holding it and I'm
yelling and yelling and then lo and behold.
Speaker 2 (25:02):
And then all of a sudden, you all you have
to do is wait for the running back to cut
back real hard, and you.
Speaker 8 (25:08):
Just flowing in his mind.
Speaker 4 (25:12):
People don't flop in the NFL.
Speaker 8 (25:14):
He don't stop here number sixties holding or hey, they
do it playing the seat early in the game, stay
on them on the sideline and sooner, sooner or later
and hopefully is right when you need it to be.
Speaker 3 (25:26):
Boom flag I Chris said, we got a call. Who
we got Chris?
Speaker 14 (25:30):
We got Eric in North Carolina.
Speaker 4 (25:37):
For lunch.
Speaker 10 (25:37):
Man, I just had ribs. Bro I went to the
take the roll out some ribs.
Speaker 12 (25:43):
Man.
Speaker 10 (25:43):
Nice, you know, I have a little meeting for lunch
today when my people going there and everything out here
eastern North Carolina. Man, and you had lunch at long
and at Taxi Rowhouse. Man had some ribs. Man, he
having three or so. Man, been doing good man, y'all, Yo,
y'all do y'all thing out there? Man, Jeff, you're a
busy man. Shannon, and you're still holding down your third Man,
(26:05):
I know what y'all doing. I see y'all from a farm.
Just want to tell y'all now, mid what y'all doing.
Keep up the great work late bringing the thunder man
in the end of those games. Every night. Maneing everything, Man,
watching y'all. I'm loving what I'm seeing y'all keeping me
inspired and motivated. I'm just gonna tell y'all that so
everything good man, Cowboys for life, you know. Yeah? But man, hey,
(26:30):
cowboy pick of the week right here, we're gonna beat
these guys. I'm telling you this. I'm telling you this.
You know. Gro up. We're gonna go out there and
get it done. Y'all telling you what's.
Speaker 8 (26:44):
What's the path? What's the pathway to victory?
Speaker 10 (26:46):
Please part waitin this week of victory. Man, it's continue
to keep the running game at Bay. Right. Let's let's
let's let's communicate. Do not blow these coverages we've seen.
These guys are running free on these players. Right, Let's
just get it back to the basis, keep everything in
front of us like we did in Philadelphia, right right
that that second half against Philadelphia, these guys look like
(27:08):
a team that can do it. Right. I have hope
with blaying back Grass should definitely add to the coverage issues. Right.
I believe you know, uh, you know, the defensive lines
in the push. We know about all these injuries on
their offensive line. We definitely need to take advantage of
that right there on there, like the fourth right tackle,
maybe right, get you that center. Let's expose these guys
(27:30):
where we can. We can no longer if you that
Caleb Williams and Russell Wibbs like Jora Montana. Why do
you think James Jordan Lambs go look like he has
all day to stand back there, right, that's facilitate on
mayor got as I say, you know instance, get it
down right because in the second half were done. In
(27:50):
second half, we saw a couple of those ropes, those
glitch groups in the second half against Philadelphia, they k
they got home. Why do we stop doing that? Right?
So let's just find out what these guys great at.
Let's do it. Man, get out your own way, get
out your your way of doing things and mix it up.
Speaker 2 (28:06):
Man, what's your score?
Speaker 10 (28:07):
That's my thing? Scugg tweet to seventeen tweet seventeen dollars.
Speaker 7 (28:11):
Twenty three seventeen. All right, Eric, good hearing from you, man,
We miss you.
Speaker 2 (28:16):
Why going to get going? Some real bone soft? Is
them bones on the rib soft? And you put them
in a crock pot or crock potter, you put them
over there.
Speaker 10 (28:25):
I've done a crock pot ribs decadent, decadent, and the
bone my dog get all the bones.
Speaker 2 (28:31):
My dog get all okay, all right, be capped with
them bones now, you know, make sure you keep his
notes the track right.
Speaker 10 (28:37):
Not too many? Not too many? Too many?
Speaker 12 (28:38):
Right?
Speaker 10 (28:38):
Oh, will be right. I don't get my dog too
many ball But man, look, I love y'all. I'm a
call checking on y'all.
Speaker 3 (28:45):
Man, all right, we're trying to let you go. We're
trying to let you go. Just go out gracefully. Eric,
don't don't hang on, Eric, don't be there. I see
you gotta go.
Speaker 2 (28:56):
Eric.
Speaker 3 (28:56):
We got at it, man.
Speaker 14 (28:59):
Kurt, real Kurt, and we love you too, bro, Yeah,
we love He got everybody, but I went down the
line right.
Speaker 7 (29:12):

Speaker 4 (32:12):
Who we got? We got Lester in Minnesota.
Speaker 7 (32:14):
Lester and Minnesota.
Speaker 2 (32:16):
How are you okay?
Speaker 9 (32:18):
What's up?
Speaker 12 (32:19):
Boys?
Speaker 9 (32:20):
Cowboys seventy seven.
Speaker 8 (32:21):
I'll tell you what we won't do this time, Lester.
We won't show you became a Cowboy fan, Lester, not
this time. In fact, we already right to your scores
and prediction. By God, you took him along lot of
last time, wash your schoolshed up and excited you, how
to get you, way to get you out?
Speaker 7 (32:39):
Last decided to talk to you.
Speaker 9 (32:41):
I know I tried to call him last week. I
got one grievance. We should never ever ever have CD
Lamb running the ball at the self inflicted wound. There's
no reason for him to be running the ball. He's
our best player or second best player on the team.
He should do well receiver where receivers do whatever that is.
(33:02):
That's what he should do. Nothing else. But my prediction
is as they would saying we win by one, we
got to run the ball. I'm old school.
Speaker 2 (33:10):
We got to run the ball.
Speaker 9 (33:11):
Play defer, keep that clean, play action pass, throw the
ball I'm.
Speaker 2 (33:17):
Out, no.
Speaker 8 (33:23):
Back anytime that you are a friend of the show,
welcome anytime.
Speaker 3 (33:27):
We You know, we didn't really talk about that, did
you guys have a problem with that.
Speaker 4 (33:30):
You always say get the ball in.
Speaker 3 (33:32):
Your playmaker's hands, But do you really want your wide
receiver running in that kind of traffic?
Speaker 2 (33:38):
Is it? Or when you got a running back average
seven point four yards of carrys don't get you do
what you're doing.
Speaker 5 (33:45):
They've been They've been running him since he came into
the league. So I don't know. It's just bad luck,
but got to get the ball if it can't.
Speaker 3 (33:54):
Have no luck, So you don't have a problem with it.
That's why he all went off there, Nate does Jesse.
Speaker 8 (34:01):
Yeah, I yes, hindsight is twenty twenty, but I don't
like jet sweeps are fine, but I don't want to
turn around to him and the ball where he has
to kind of read through holes. So what you got
to Cavante Turpin for is what you got other guys
on this team for. Hell, if you're looking for a spark,
activate Jayden Blue. But you know I get hindsights twenty
twenty and they've done it before. You just you just
run this type of risk every single time. I'd rather
(34:22):
have CD out there catching.
Speaker 2 (34:24):
Because I think when it happened, I'm like, wow, CD hurt.
I didn't look at it that he was a running back,
you know, but I did look at it fact like,
ain't we gotta do what average is sevent yards of
character that we erased out of the third quarter.
Speaker 8 (34:37):
And you wasn't at that point toime in the game.
Speaker 2 (34:39):
You didn't.
Speaker 8 (34:40):
You weren't looking because sometimes you get into a game
where you're looking for a spark. You're like, man, we're
drag game. We don't have energy. We're not being able
to complete things like you. I need to get my
player the ball in his hands and and and get
a spark at that moment in time, you didn't need
to do that. You got cute for for no reason
when you had a good thing going with Javonte seven
(35:01):
yards to carry and just passed the ball. But you know,
it's always hindsight's always twenty two.
Speaker 5 (35:06):
Its average six point eight yards per carry in his
career three years down twenty one first down?
Speaker 3 (35:12):
How many carries does he have?
Speaker 5 (35:13):
Fifty seven?
Speaker 2 (35:15):
Really, I would like to see if he can get
fifty seven over the next four.
Speaker 3 (35:22):
Have we got a timeline on him yet other than
what we heard earlier in.
Speaker 5 (35:24):
The week, four weeks or something, two to four, they're
saying it'll be more like four to six.
Speaker 3 (35:32):
Because you kind of need your ankles.
Speaker 8 (35:35):
I do believe there's one player, Like we always talk
about rehabbing, how some of these guys around here don't
want to rehab. See, he's not that one of those guys.
Like he's one of those guys where if the timeline
says four to six, he he liked that you might
get it at four. Yeah, Like he's one. He's tough too.
I know for a fact. I know for a fact,
I know for a fact he's doing a round o'clock treatment.
(35:57):
Like he's getting it here and he's leaving here on
getting a boot, and he's getting it. He's getting it
at home as well. So he is definitely working to
get back.
Speaker 4 (36:06):
We need you come on back. When do you start.
Speaker 3 (36:10):
You mentioned Jaden Blue, At what point, let's just say
the season keeps going the way it's going now, at
what point do you start putting the new guys in
and giving that.
Speaker 2 (36:22):
For him when he's going to get more consistent? Because
I just mean in general, when do you start giving
me in general?
Speaker 4 (36:29):
Yeah, Like, at what.
Speaker 7 (36:30):
Point do you say, okay, if a guy.
Speaker 2 (36:32):
Has shown that he can master the plays out there
on the field, as soon as they start doing that,
no matter how the season go, you drafted these guys,
especially the guys you drafted, it's something that they don't
trust about him right now. And once that is cleared up,
or once they believe in enough, put him out there.
Because I'm with just everybody want to see the guy go.
(36:54):
You know, everybody want to see him play. But it's
some guys earn at a different rate too. He may
be one of them guys. Once he get it, he
gonna have it.
Speaker 8 (37:04):
You get smoked this week. He's playing this week Because
now now I gotta start pulling out all my stops.
I gotta starts trying to save save face a little
bit and try to I'm throwing against the wall. Now
I need something to stick. I need something to give
me something. If you get smoked this weekend, if it's
a competitive game and they just kind of just they
got more Jimmy than Jose to beat you at the end,
(37:25):
then you tip your cap and you go on. You
get smoked this week you get fourteen seventeen points smoked.
Speaker 4 (37:32):
Need to shake down.
Speaker 2 (37:33):
Yeah, but still I'm gonna stick to that because running
backs and lineman. I don't like to force into the
issue because what we got standing back there, you know,
whide receive a DV all of that. Yeah, but if
you just gonna throw a dude in there that don't
know what he's doing, all of a sudden, Dak getting
up off his back and the first thing we're gonna
(37:55):
becoming him Monday saying, man, why did you even play
this dude? I would Jesse say he got smoked. No,
I just can't. Don't let unless you Now we have
shown and I don't know if this is gonna be consistent.
We have one or two time outs left, it's four minutes,
we down seventeen. We may see Milton again, So I
(38:19):
mean it can happen. Bro, Everybody that I thought close
to the team, I said, man, why did that happen?
I've never seen that happen. Where the timeouse was going
and this, this and this, and I'm like, yeah, but
I never seen you know, they want to see Milton, man,
They want to try to get him up the speed
and going in game type situation. So, uh, I don't
(38:41):
agree with it, but that is that is the new league,
I guess, or the way the Cowboys gonna do it anyway.
Speaker 3 (38:48):
All right, Jesse, what is your Before we do that,
give us your players to watch, Nate and then Jesse,
you go, you're.
Speaker 2 (38:55):
I have one player to watch and one player only.
I want this player to carry the ball thirty five
times minimum. That's Javonte Williams, the Cowboy. That's the only
guy I'm watching. If he don't touch the ball thirty
five times, you know, you know, because we need to
(39:17):
stay with the change, our head of the change.
Speaker 3 (39:21):
What about on Green Bay side of the ball?
Speaker 2 (39:24):
Watch them all? I would watch number seven Kuwait. I
like this linebacker. He can he don't He's not a
great cover guy, but he can cover. He feels his gaps,
he feels his lane, and they don't concentrate on him
(39:45):
stopping run like a lot of teams do. But they
seem to make it happen. I like how he does things.
Give me a quick date.
Speaker 8 (39:54):
How I looked at it was that is they stopped
the running on the way to the quarterback.
Speaker 2 (39:59):
Yes, they do Minnesota style.
Speaker 8 (40:01):
Yeah, like on the way to the quarterback. They stopped
and stop the run. Yeah, but we're going to get
the quarterback.
Speaker 4 (40:06):
Who are your two players to watch?
Speaker 1 (40:08):
Uh?
Speaker 8 (40:08):
This is go into my into my deal.
Speaker 2 (40:11):
No no, no no no.
Speaker 4 (40:12):
Just sa like on film.
Speaker 3 (40:14):
Who's kind of jumped out for you this week for
people that may not be super familiar with Green Bay
and you're like, hey, keep.
Speaker 8 (40:19):
An eye on offensively. Defensively, you do one of each
offensively the tight end. Tucker Craft, Nice Tucker Craft always
talk about like this football playing dudes, Like I've always
enjoyed football playing dudes. He falls into that category, like
he's just a football playing dude. And you know Donovan
Wilson and well Donovan Wilson and Malie Cooker and jan
(40:43):
Ye Thomas, whoever's tasked to cover him, got your hands
for a day.
Speaker 4 (40:49):
All day you went, you win for a day.
Speaker 8 (40:51):
He gonna try to block you, and he gonna when
he get the ball in his hand, he turns into
one of those physical, you know runners after the catch
with the ball in his hand. And then defensively, Edrin
Cooper the other linebacker, what is it fifty five? What
is he fifty fifty six? Right?
Speaker 2 (41:07):
Like Ed.
Speaker 8 (41:09):
He's he's he's one of those guys that, yes, you're
gonna pay attention to Michael, Yes you're gonna pay attention
to Rashaun Gary Edrin Cooper is one of the best
rushers pass rushers on this defense. He's fast, he's physical,
and he might be the dude you look up, you
like he got three sacks because the way he the
(41:29):
way he attacks.
Speaker 4 (41:30):
This is gonna be like Oprah at the game.
Speaker 7 (41:33):
You get a sack, you get a sack, you get
a sack.
Speaker 8 (41:35):
If the Cowboys get behind and they and they, if
the Cowboys get behind and they turn into a definite
pass game, it can get like that. And so you know, I.
Speaker 2 (41:44):
Don't care how this game. No, I don't want to
stop the show.
Speaker 8 (41:48):
And the one thing I want people to stop saying
to me in general, but just in like when people like, oh, well,
you know they only scored ten points last weekuld get
the Browns.
Speaker 2 (42:00):
No, no, no, no, you know we can do no, no,
come on, fellas, stop go Look rather the.
Speaker 8 (42:04):
Number one defense in the league, the number one defense
in the league, We're not That's what I'm gonna.
Speaker 2 (42:11):
Leave it at that.
Speaker 8 (42:11):
The Browns, So don't tell me about what if we
do did the Browns did? The Browns are the number
one defense in the league. They got a lot of.
Speaker 4 (42:18):
What we don't have.
Speaker 8 (42:20):
I know that that the Browns, and I know what
comes with that with that and the number one defense
in the league. So until we get into that conversation
of being hell, let's be a top twenty defense in
the league, first, don't tell me what the Browns did
to the to the to the to this offense, to
their offensive line, to their path catcher, to their running game.
Because we're not them and they're not us. So until
(42:41):
we until we prove ourselves to be like the Browns defense,
which is the number one defense in the league, tap
and break. Don't tell me that anymore. Tell me what
happened to the Browns last week?
Speaker 7 (42:54):
What's your stat to watch this week?
Speaker 8 (42:55):
My stat to watch? Because in my core, I truly
do believe that.
Speaker 4 (43:02):
I think.
Speaker 8 (43:04):
Lafleur wants to embarrass the quarter of the Cowboys. Why
and not in a way that you think I think
he wants to physically embarrass the Cowboys. I want I
think he wants to see the will come up out
of the Cowboys. And I believe that you're going to
(43:31):
see a running game from the Green Bay Packers that
makes the Cowboys quick or at least try. And so
my stat if Josh Jacobs is over one hundred yards rushing,
this is ugly.
Speaker 2 (43:52):
This is ugly.
Speaker 8 (43:53):
I don't not it's not gonna be we we We
probably won't have the you know, the NFC office of
Player of the Week coming against us this week. Enjoy love.
It's possible if they ain't covering Folkscob. I have a
sneaky suspicion because this is just they want to go
at you. They want to mitigate you, you know, exposing
(44:18):
their offensive line that are out right now. They want
to check the oil and see if you've gotten better.
And you know, one of the reasons why the Cowboys
run numbers are down so much because people passing so
much on them, you know what I mean. Not saying
that they're not having sas in the run game, but
I just feel like that's where they want to go.
They want to they want to impose their will on
(44:39):
you and then play action pass for big plays. But
I think it's gonna be a heavy doses of Josh
Josh Jacob's early, middle, and late in this football game.
Speaker 3 (44:48):
All right, that time, Kurt, Cowboys are seven point underdogs
at home? Yeah, unfortunately seven What seven point underdogs at home?
Speaker 2 (45:00):
Ain't that's kind of unusual?
Speaker 8 (45:02):
You're usually it's pretty high. Usually at home, your your favorite,
your favorite, or it's a little bit closer, like three,
and you get three.
Speaker 3 (45:10):
Points at home, everybody's expecting them to lose basically about
ten by ten.
Speaker 5 (45:14):
Wow, I'll go shocking the visitors. I'll say, twenty seven, twenty.
Speaker 3 (45:21):
Seven, a close one, Nate. How much of the Cowboys
winning by this week?
Speaker 2 (45:26):
Man, I'm gonna tell you what, Bro, we got to
run that ball forty times forty I agree for all
I'm gonna say, Man, if we if that boy ain't
beat up and bruised after this game here, man, I'm
with Jesse on that. Like they gonna do with Jacobs,
we're gonna have to do extra hard with this dude, Javonte,
(45:46):
Come on, man.
Speaker 8 (45:47):
I agree. The Cowboys got money this game up. They
gotta make it up. They gotta be as possible, man,
they gotta make it. U g l y right ugly.
Speaker 3 (45:56):
You ain't got no alibi, Chris, Yes, sir, what you score?
Speaker 4 (46:00):
I'm gonna go, uh Ai has it Green Bay.
Speaker 12 (46:05):
