No, no, no, I'm saying, did y'all see that exciting
game last night? Uh?

Speaker 5 (02:55):
That was not watch it? That was an exciting game.
And uh I just when you see good.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
NFL football that that was played on a different level, man, man.
And and the coach was you know a guy somebody
you know, New England and tossed away the guy. They
over there rubbing him and giving him bananas, and they working.
If you just see the game, you saw that, you
saw it? Oh man, they worked this dude.

Speaker 5 (03:22):
Man.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
And every time they work and you will see verse
sacking and then you see somebody else they'll be over
there and working off like a boxer or something.

Speaker 5 (03:30):
But this was a good game.

Speaker 8 (03:32):
You like that finish?

Speaker 5 (03:33):
Oh yes? Oh yeah?

Speaker 4 (03:35):
Like the decision. I love the decision. Hate the call.

Speaker 5 (03:40):
Hate the call because you he's a better play caller
than that.

Speaker 4 (03:43):
And he and and coach they admitted it. He said,
I was going for it, he goes, but I just
he goes, that's on me. He goes, I sucked and
I put my team in a bad situation with that
play call, he said, But I was going for it,
no matter what.

Speaker 7 (03:55):
What was a play call?

Speaker 2 (03:56):
He ran the ball for to the right side, right
up right right into our guy, our guy, my guy.

Speaker 4 (04:05):
I'm not giving you that.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
This is hold on, bro, I've been on Warner since
day one. What was the other guy that he played with,
the other linebacker green Law?

Speaker 5 (04:13):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (04:13):
All right, okay, all right, cool, all right?

Speaker 5 (04:16):
You stole I. Didn't you show Ceedee Lamb? And I
did just say a word. I stole you show Lamb?

Speaker 2 (04:23):
Did I not when he was not doing very well
his rookie year? Did I not ride with Ceede Lamb?
You don't even remember I was.

Speaker 4 (04:30):
I was the one talking about CD Lamb because everybody
was trying to anoint him. I said, take give him
a minute, give him some towers with the guy that
was annoying he was try I said, he has to
learn how to play in the slot. He had to
learn how to play this new found position in the NFL.

Speaker 5 (04:44):
And then you when he finally took off, I didn't
even get a chance. You beat me Toothy. She's my guy.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
And I'm like, wow, okay, I just got blue to
the current because I was the guy that was annointing it.

Speaker 5 (04:55):
Okay, now who else do we have? Who else? Who else?
So you like that? I made like both.

Speaker 4 (05:02):
We both appreciate ninety nine. He's retired, though, Aaron Donald.

Speaker 7 (05:08):
About what about the new one? The multiverse?

Speaker 4 (05:12):
Appreciate Verse, we appreciate.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
I'm gonna have to be honest. I did not know
who this guy was until two years ago. I did
not know you knew who he was, but I didn't.

Speaker 5 (05:22):
And so well, two years ago he was a rookie,
so but I didn't.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
But I saw what he did us in training camp,
and so I called Hectman Harrison Heckman. I said, it's
this dude out here with a number eight on the
name Verse and he told me everything about it. He said,
he'll kill him. Man, he'll beast. I'm like, he's a rookie,
but I he a beast. Now I'm gonna I'm gonna.
I am gonna say this, Jesse, and I'm gonna say

(05:48):
this was great pride. I'm telling you, I don't use
the word pride. I'm gonna say this with great pride.
That's why I received from Tampa.

Speaker 4 (05:54):
Bay Mecca Booker. That's that's my god too.

Speaker 5 (05:58):
That's your guy you picked from.

Speaker 4 (06:00):
Day one, you wanted a draft I did.

Speaker 5 (06:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (06:04):
Would you have had new two number ones if you
drafted him?

Speaker 5 (06:08):
No?

Speaker 4 (06:08):
But you have a better all around receiver than you
have right now.

Speaker 7 (06:11):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
He This dude is something special. This he about to
take over my bucket of irving.

Speaker 5 (06:21):
He bought.

Speaker 7 (06:21):
That's you, that's your pet cat for two years.

Speaker 5 (06:24):
Hey, let me ask you his number ninety eight?

Speaker 2 (06:26):
Did anything for Philadelphia yet? I haven't heard his name
since he since what he did?

Speaker 5 (06:32):
That did that?

Speaker 7 (06:34):
Kara Karma got him?

Speaker 5 (06:37):
Well?

Speaker 4 (06:37):
They keep winning the four and oh yeah, sack ship
six tackles?

Speaker 5 (06:44):
Okay, all right, all right, oh right, okay, good, good good.

Speaker 7 (06:48):
What do y'all think about the halftime?

Speaker 5 (06:50):
Uh?

Speaker 7 (06:51):
Super Bowl halftime announcement?

Speaker 4 (06:53):
Who is it about to start? You're starting trouble? You're
getting ready to start troubling?

Speaker 7 (06:57):
Bad money?

Speaker 5 (06:58):
You're getting what is a bad money?

Speaker 6 (07:01):
That's that's He's the most streamed artist ever on like Spotify.

Speaker 5 (07:05):
And h Okay.

Speaker 6 (07:07):
You might have heard some of one of his songs.
Maybe you think there's any chance Nate's heard.

Speaker 8 (07:11):
Not sure I have.

Speaker 7 (07:13):
You've probably heard them, you just didn't realize what they were.
You did probably.

Speaker 6 (07:16):
Didn't understand them because they're all in ninety percent Spanish.

Speaker 4 (07:20):
I'm almost confident that needs never. I'm just like I
think you would like it. I'm out in the hunch.
I'm just putting them going out.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
So we can't put it because that's infringing on the rights. Right,
we'll playing one after the Okay, but bad bad Bunney.

Speaker 6 (07:34):
Yeah, yeah, he's very they're going they're definitely going after
a new demographic.

Speaker 5 (07:39):
Okay.

Speaker 6 (07:40):
I think they figured out, like, look, we got we
got the old folks.

Speaker 7 (07:43):
Money, Let's still get the new generation.

Speaker 6 (07:45):
Let's still get the next generation and their plus they're
going international so that now they're going for the international
flair to try to pull in those.

Speaker 5 (07:54):
Those news everybody's playing football, everyone.

Speaker 7 (07:56):
What do you think I'm trying to what?

Speaker 4 (07:58):
You you you wait to the comments? Oh yeah, you
just wait.

Speaker 8 (08:01):
I've seen them.

Speaker 4 (08:03):
You just wait when this show airs and this and
this time it comes up. You just you wait till
you look at the comments on it.

Speaker 7 (08:08):
Okay, I need to know.

Speaker 5 (08:09):
I need to know the popular Oh he's not okay, okay, okay,
let's stop talking about Okay.

Speaker 7 (08:17):
Yeah, let's let's move on to football. I don't want
to get I don't want to step in it.

Speaker 5 (08:20):
Yeah, man, break me with all.

Speaker 6 (08:24):
Four weeks in right, Yes, you said I thought six,
you thought four. Not really sure where Jesse and Kirk
fell because they never would play our reindeer games.

Speaker 7 (08:36):
When we started getting into that before the.

Speaker 6 (08:37):
Season about this team knowing exactly what it was and
have all the kinks figured out and the schemes figured out,
and the systems and blocking and all that, what did I.

Speaker 4 (08:50):
Tell y'all said next year? Didn't you what I tell y'all.

Speaker 7 (08:53):
All eighteen weeks? I don't remember.

Speaker 4 (08:57):
I told you what Kurt just said, a year. You'll
find out in.

Speaker 5 (09:00):
The year he's talking about.

Speaker 4 (09:02):
Then't result, you'll find out in the year. Do what
I also told you guys in August, this is what
this office is gonna look.

Speaker 7 (09:09):
Like, right, y'all slinging it around?

Speaker 4 (09:11):
I told you god that in August, I said, this
is what this office is going to look like. But
you'll know what the results are and in a year
well after.

Speaker 6 (09:17):
So they have four games under their belt, right, which
is basically the used to be the preseason because they
didn't play together in the preseason.

Speaker 5 (09:24):
No, not at all.

Speaker 6 (09:26):
Do you expect improvement anywhere or is this what we're
going to.

Speaker 7 (09:32):
See the rest of the season.

Speaker 2 (09:35):
And I'm gonna have to go to his call. I'm
expecting anything I saw in August. I'm saying it right now.
This is what they This is what they are I think.
I mean, maybe they do something weird. I don't know,
Stranger things have happened.

Speaker 8 (09:50):
What you think, Kurt, Yeah, it's going to be a
wild ride the whole rest of the year because I
don't see how you're gonna get drastic improving from the defense.

Speaker 6 (09:58):
Okay, let's say if you do and prove, where are
the areas that you could improve? Could this defense getting better?
Could the secondary getting better?

Speaker 8 (10:07):
Could they could add some speed to the linebacking corps?

Speaker 5 (10:10):
That might?

Speaker 7 (10:11):
But you got to bring people in, right, Yeah, you.

Speaker 8 (10:13):
Have to bring or you know, get maybe Stewart maybe,
but he's a rookie. I don't know.

Speaker 6 (10:19):
Is there anything you with this personnel that you can
get better at after four weeks time?

Speaker 7 (10:25):
Looking for some hope.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
Exactly, Okay, tackling. That's why I'm listening to to mister
b J. FLACKJ Flack of Minnesota. He got I'm gonna
try to send this to coach Shottenheimer's called a seventy
eight percent rule, you know, And so he picked out
what's the most three important things?

Speaker 5 (10:43):
And you know, maybe coach shot and listened to it.
I don't know. I listened to it. It inspired me.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
But I what do you say, just this is what
it is?

Speaker 6 (10:52):
Or is there anywhere you could if a fan is
looking for some hope, where is there any hope that
you could get better?

Speaker 4 (11:00):
I mean the defensively, you only got one direction you
can go.

Speaker 5 (11:04):
That's it. You're at the bottom. Yeah, you're thirty two.

Speaker 4 (11:08):
You're thirty two, and just about a lot of the
statistical categories. If not thirty two, you're thirty one, thirty,
twenty nine. So you can only go one direction. You
can't go ain't no thirty three? Okay, So if we're
just talking sheer, can there be an improvement?

Speaker 5 (11:22):
Sure?

Speaker 4 (11:23):
I mean you can go from thirty two to thirty one,
you can go from thirty to twenty nine. But to
talk about jumping. To make yourself a contender, you got
to be somewhere near the top ten in in my
opinion at least, because the guys that you have to
go against, And I know, I just know it's gonna happen, but.

Speaker 5 (11:44):
You don't.

Speaker 4 (11:44):
I don't think you played if you had to play
Green Bay again, I don't think you played them to
a forty forty tie.

Speaker 5 (11:50):
I just don't.

Speaker 4 (11:50):
I just my humble opinion. I think Detroit is still
out there. You still got to deal with that offense
you saw last night, just as injured you, just as
injured as you. The Niners go out there, or so
more so, more so your their quarterback is out, they start,
tight end is out, all the wide receivers were out.
Offensive lineman was out, defensive lineman was out, went out there.

(12:13):
Bald right, say what you want about the Rams, but
you don't want to face the Frams. You don't want
to face that football team like not with this default.
So like there are things that you look at and
you're like, yes, you can get better. But to me,
I just feel unless you're going to bring in some

(12:34):
better players you need you need better players, You need
better And I don't think the guys that are on
the as Jerry would say, you know, we got guys
on the come like so guys coming back from from injury.
There's this thought process that.

Speaker 8 (12:48):
I don't get it.

Speaker 4 (12:49):
I don't need a Kurt. But there's this thought process that, like,
the day that Overshown comes back, he's mid season four,
the young man hasn't played football.

Speaker 5 (12:58):
Over a year.

Speaker 4 (12:59):
Like the same thing man, same thing about rebel. He
comes back, he's gonna be.

Speaker 5 (13:02):
This dude, they ain't play the NFL game.

Speaker 4 (13:04):
He's never said of the NFL.

Speaker 5 (13:06):
Ain't the NFL. Don't do that to these.

Speaker 4 (13:08):
And so I'm like, I'm like, does the Marion Overshown?
Will he make a difference in the future. I absolutely
believe it. But even if the Marion Overshown came back,
he suffers. One of his biggest elements was miss tackles.

Speaker 5 (13:25):
Miss tackles.

Speaker 4 (13:26):
He would fit right in with the rest of his group.
So it's like that was his biggest issue, was he
missed a bunch of tackles. So it's like, you, this offense,
it'll get better because you're gonna get Cde Lamb back,
right that that makes your offense better. Your only hope
now is that you're not having to play with a

(13:47):
backup offensive line for a very long time and that
the season doesn't wear down your quarterback. Is am I
crazy to know? You're crazy? So whatever question you have
after that answer? Am I crazy? I'm a question you
have after that? I don't even know if it needs
to be discussed that way?

Speaker 7 (14:05):
Am I crazy to want to that?

Speaker 6 (14:08):
I'm intrigued to see this offensive line this weekend.

Speaker 5 (14:12):
No, because I don't.

Speaker 6 (14:15):
Think they're gonna be that bad, and I think maybe
it'll give you a little bit of hope as far
as the future and kind of where we're headed now
they just get blown up.

Speaker 5 (14:26):
It's a left guard plan? Is he still? Coach said?

Speaker 4 (14:29):
Today? Is a a is an indicator for a lot
of guys. And I've gotten mixed I've asked around, I've
gotten kind of mixed feelings and left guard he's talking
about Tyler Smith. I've got mixed responses on what this
thing is with the need? Is it tend to night?
Is is it something greater? Some people are saying he's
trending that way. Some people are saying it's gonna be close.

(14:52):
And so, in the words of our little friend on
the show before us, we'll find out game time he's.

Speaker 8 (14:59):
Saying, didn't he say he's gonna play? Although yeah, it
might be wishful.

Speaker 7 (15:03):
He's making the trip right, sure, So it'll be game game.
They probably get out there and see how we're feeling.

Speaker 4 (15:09):
See how we're feeling, and who's who's to say on
play number one that he doesn't tweak it? You know,
we know that, we know that, Uh that Met Life
Turf historically has been a beat down.

Speaker 6 (15:19):
Yeah, So is this the way Dak played last week
getting the ball out really quick? Is he gonna have
to do that again this week with the line as
beat up as it is? Two two, three step drops.

Speaker 4 (15:33):
Short routes every game?

Speaker 6 (15:35):
Yeah, target the hell out of Ferguson on three yard.

Speaker 5 (15:40):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (15:41):
You definitely get the running game going. That helps you.
That helps you because when I get to third down,
my playbook opens up. If I get the third and
two three, four, my playbook is wide open for me
to do things. And then you're gonna you're you're coming
into a place right now where it's gonna be Sauce
Gardner verse George Pickens.

Speaker 5 (16:02):
Wherever he goes.

Speaker 4 (16:03):
Well, I believe that wherever he goes, you're gonna get
Sauce Gardner following him there. And so that's gonna be
a really good matchup. I think George Pickens will win
some of the match up I think that Sauce Gardner
will have his shots at when of some of the
mass up. I hope no turnovers happening between that time.
That's gonna be a really good matchup. It's gonna be
this is gonna be one of those games of what
other steps up you might You're probably gonna be with

(16:24):
dot Cavante Turpin. And and this goes back to the
argument that I was having with a lot of people.
And listen, I don't want to argue with folks, but
when I have the conversation about know if I believe
that with like like number one, right, And this is
the part where you wish that George Pickens was a

(16:46):
more well rounded number one or one ish because when
CD was here, He's the move around guy. He's I'm
in motion, I'm in the slot, I'm doing this, and
I'm doing that. Ceedee Lamb gets hurt. Cavante Turpin became
that guy. He was the move around guy. He was
a guy that was going to motion. George was still
one of the guys that was in a stagnant position

(17:08):
on the outside. Now you might be without Ceedee Lamb
and Cavante Turpin in the game.

Speaker 7 (17:15):
So who do you trust to move around?

Speaker 5 (17:16):
Right?

Speaker 4 (17:17):
Who do you trust to move Not only who do
you trust to move around? Who knows enough to move
around to still keep your playbook as big as it
needs to be.

Speaker 5 (17:26):
Right.

Speaker 4 (17:26):
And that's the part where you look at George Pickens
and this ay, like this should be your spot And
that would help him, That would help him significantly going
up against a press cover corner like Sauce Gardner. Because
when Sauce looks at George Pickens, and this is how
DB's think. If I'm a dB and George Pickens lines

(17:49):
up what we call plus two outside the number, So
think about the big numbers that you see on the outside.
He's on the outside two yards. That's called plus two.

Speaker 5 (17:59):
Right.

Speaker 4 (17:59):
So now a dB goes, there's only a couple of
routes he can run from here, And I'm gonna go
back and I'm watching film and I'm seeing the route
tree that he's run in all these four games this season.
So if he's plus two or if he's minus one
of the numbers. If he's on the numbers, this is
the part that goes to DB's head. There's four routes
that he can run from here, Then I go into

(18:20):
what's my down and distance right, and so now I'm
looking for the slant. But I can negate that I
shouldn't say negate the slant. I can throw the timing
of a slant off by pressing him, right. I can
play the timing of the slant by pressing him, but
also be ready to run if he runs a go route,
but be ready to shut it down at ten yards

(18:41):
if he does a curl route. So I'm thinking to
my as a dB sauce of saying slant, go, post curl.
Those are primarily the four routes that you'll see George run,
especially from that split. Now, if he was a guy
that was going in motion, if he was a guy
that was starting in the slot exit motioning, if he

(19:03):
was a guy you know, on the on the not
the not the point of the bunch, but the outside
of the bunch, Now he's getting picks. He's going underneath
those type of routes now, and movements get you because
if I'm in the slot. Oh and by the way,
when i'm plus two numbers, the cornerback has a sideline.
So that's it. That's his that's his twelfth man. So
I take the inside away, play you for the go

(19:24):
and then push you out of bounce. But when I'm
in the slot, I got a two way go. You
gotta cover all the field now, because even if I
go inside up, I can still come back out. I
can go across, I can stop, I can return. I
can do a bunch of different things from the inside
that I can't do from the outside. Now, this dB
has to think twice as much about what do they

(19:44):
run from here? Looking at concept stuff like that.

Speaker 8 (19:47):
So so why is why is it so difficult for
guys to learn how to go in motion or do
those inside routes?

Speaker 4 (19:55):
Because when you're not standing outside and you're coming in
motion where things are changing and shifting and moving, you
gotta be able to see that on the run, you
have to understand that, Hey, in this progression, how do
I get through this temple wise, I'm not blazing through there.
I gotta be more tempo. I gotta be find where's
my windows at?

Speaker 5 (20:12):
Is this a zone?

Speaker 4 (20:13):
Is this a man? Is someone picking me up from
the backside? Because he may come with me this way
right and cover me this way, But then once I
get into another zone, you'll see that that player buzz down,
there's a rap player or buzzing down, and then now
he'll come down and that other state they'll take the
middle of the field. So I have to be able
to see all that happening. And it's just it's a

(20:33):
thought process that a lot of guys just can't. They
can't grasp and play fast at the same time. This
is why a lot of guys don't do it. This
is why it's unique to specific guys to be able
to do because there's so much other thinking that goes
into that, because so much happens in the middle of
the field, with coverages, with guys dropping, I gotta go

(20:54):
under an over linebacker, all that type of stuff. So
a lot of times, if you just want to do
to play fast, he may not the god that is
able to work you in and through there. And then
also you have to be a guy who's able to
be shifty enough to you know, get away from a
guy trying to jam you and hit you and but
put my foot in the ground and come back out
of that thing. Some guys have just boom boom tight
routes some of the guys and they can go all that,

(21:17):
they can do all that Herkeey jerky stuff that allows
you to get away from defenders.

Speaker 7 (21:22):
All right, a second, first break when we come back.
Got a few phone.

Speaker 12 (23:59):
That's all right, boys?

Speaker 13 (24:00):
What's that?

Speaker 7 (24:01):
Boys?

Speaker 4 (24:03):
Hey?

Speaker 12 (24:04):
Man, I missed the score by one point, I said,
I did a Nate, I said bout one. But they game.

Speaker 7 (24:12):
That's good one.

Speaker 12 (24:15):
Hey, But you know what, just so everybody you know,
I'm sure you guys know, but I'm just gonna say
it anyway, Tithe is not that bad. It's a half
a win. So we end up ten six and one.
We're better than everybody who's ten seven. So we got
that going forwards. Half a wind.

Speaker 5 (24:32):
Boys.

Speaker 12 (24:33):
Hey, but I think we should just run.

Speaker 5 (24:36):
The ball man.

Speaker 12 (24:37):
I want to see Blue this weekend. Get him out there,
because we're missing our speed, got turping, so let's put
some other speed. I know it's not as easy as
just put them in and let him run around, but
you know, we can figure out something. A couple of
plays for him at least, let's get him out there.
Let's get him out there was at least about four
or five plays. I mean, I can't do any harm

(25:00):
my score this week. I'll say thirty two to twenty
and then that's all I got. Boys Go Cowboys two twenty.

Speaker 7 (25:10):
Thank you, Lester.

Speaker 6 (25:10):
Appreciate the phone call. Jaden Blues playing this weekend.

Speaker 7 (25:15):
He's making a trip. What's the deal?

Speaker 8 (25:17):
Yeah, he's supposed to play. Yeah, so everybody, man, We've
had so many people asking about when is blue?

Speaker 6 (25:22):
Is this gonna be one of those things where it's
like he plays and it's like y'all ask for it,
this is what?

Speaker 7 (25:32):
Or is this gonna be?

Speaker 6 (25:33):
Why would if he's going to be above average or
then why hasn't he been? I know it's a trust
thing and they're trying to get him up to speed,
but is this gonna be just kind of a okay, yeah,
he ran the ball four times.

Speaker 4 (25:48):
But here's the thing.

Speaker 7 (25:48):
Average three yards.

Speaker 4 (25:51):
People sometimes get caught up in they they get these
training camp stories, and they get these people who come
in and they'll flash in training camp and people will take,
you know, their pet cat, and so they hear the
thing that they're able to do, and they just want
them on the field right. Like, I can't tell you
how the times people are like, you know, bitch, this guy,
play that guy, give me this guy, give me that guy.

(26:11):
And I'm just like cool, but that's not how this works.
And so for for Blue, there is there's a level
of trust.

Speaker 5 (26:20):
One.

Speaker 4 (26:22):
You got to know what you have to do. That's
that's first and foremost, and it they just give him
the ball and just let him go right there is
there is concepts that come.

Speaker 5 (26:29):
Along with that high school no more.

Speaker 4 (26:31):
Right, it's not it's not high school no more. You
just you just can't just catch get the ball and
run to the outside and be gone with them. But
they like Javonte Williams and if they're going to be too,
if if said's gonna say we're gonna be a physical
running football team that starts and ends with Javonte Williams. Now,
when you come from that, you're looking at the offensive
line and the most important thing that you want to
be able to do is keep your quarterback clean, keep

(26:53):
them up right right. And so is Jayden Blue fully
equipped and understand because he's coming in on third downstendos
of passing downs. So what happens when his scam protection
or scap protection or any of those level of protections.
Can he do it efficiently effectively? Or is that gonna
get his head knocked off because Jayden Blue didn't go
to the right place. And there is something to be said.

(27:15):
Sometimes coaches just like veterans. They like the veterans to
be out there, whether you like.

Speaker 5 (27:20):
It or not.

Speaker 4 (27:20):
They might like the Blue excuse me, the Javante and
the Miles Sanders veteran combination that goes on. So there's
a host of factors. And then on top of that,
if you weren't gonna start, if you weren't gonna start
him over Sanders, then you gotta play special teams. You
just can't give a guy on the game day Jersey

(27:41):
and he stands on the sideline all day and don't
play special teams. So what is he what is he
factor in on that? I know that you know Turpens
out now, but turps your part returner. Turpens one half
of your kick return So it's I can't give a
job Jersey and all he's gonna do is be the
other kick returners. Those are the things that have to
go You only get forty six, forty forty eight of

(28:02):
them forty six and forty eight of them on game day.
So now I have to make sure I have enough lineman, DBS, linebackers, all.

Speaker 2 (28:09):
That, because your the offensive line is in shambles, your
secondaries in shambles. Who Jersey do we give away? And
another thing, fellas and girls, he didn't he the guy
you saw at Texas blazing up and down the field,
He has not run that fast in the game. So
his speed has not translated to the game. If you've

(28:30):
looked at him in the preseason, the limit we saw,
if you looked at him in practice and especially against
the Rams, that speed did not.

Speaker 5 (28:39):
I'm like, is just the same guy.

Speaker 2 (28:42):
But I had to realize this is a young guy
coming into the league and he saw it because when
he when they first had him in the ball and
he's jittered around and he finally took off, he came
back with a little look in his eye like, WHOA,
These guys are a lot faster. So that means only
with you running the ball, but with you picking up

(29:03):
a corner, a linebacker chipping on the on the down line.
That's where Javante is awesome. Chipping on the down lineman.
So give this kid a chance, let him let coach.

Speaker 4 (29:16):
You know, lady, I think anywhere from you know, five
to eight plays, you can get him out there. But
this should be a heavy Javonte Williams game. This should
be a bell Kyle Geese. Yeah, like this gotta be
a lot of a lot of heavy toting from Javonte Williams.
And then you can sprinkle in there a little bit
of of Jaydon Blue. You know he got, he got

(29:38):
a nice little Louis Vuitton cleats us on the internet
to day. Yeah, yeah, he got.

Speaker 5 (29:43):
He got to.

Speaker 4 (29:46):
Be breaking them in.

Speaker 2 (29:47):
So see I'm gonna go I'm gonna pick on the kid. Yeah, hey,
home boy, look at here. You should have did that Monday.
You should have put them shoes on Monday and Tuesday
so we could be clearing.

Speaker 5 (30:02):
Up your blisters today.

Speaker 2 (30:03):
Okay, don't put your shoes on the day before, days
before a game.

Speaker 8 (30:07):
Maybe that rook needs to do a few things for
it's throw.

Speaker 5 (30:13):
Not not with the star.

Speaker 4 (30:15):
They come in already already arrived, no matter what round
you were driving in and what what what want you
on the depth chart?

Speaker 6 (30:23):
That stuff starting in pee wee football now, man, let's
take one more call before we take a break. Chris,
who we got?

Speaker 5 (30:35):
Good? Good? What's up? Brother?

Speaker 13 (30:38):
I'm good man.

Speaker 5 (30:39):
How y'all doing doing well?

Speaker 14 (30:41):
Man?

Speaker 13 (30:42):
Man, it's I know it's been a while since I
called in, but it's good to hear from all of y'all.
Y'all ain't changed one bit, man.

Speaker 4 (30:47):
Listen, I guess consistency is the key.

Speaker 13 (30:54):
That's what it is, man, That is what it is.

Speaker 11 (30:56):
Man.

Speaker 13 (30:56):
I just want you to know I'm praying because I
have no idea what's gonna happen on let me.

Speaker 4 (31:02):
We need listen, we need Jehovah Rafa. We need we
need the guy of healing to come over this this
land right here and heal some of these bodies past
and we need so when you praying, this is Jehovah
Rafa to get some healing in here.

Speaker 5 (31:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 13 (31:15):
Yeah, Remember there's a condition of claus that if you
obey me so right, that's Extwenty six, So they got
to be obeyed here before you just come in. Yeah. No,
but I think I think we'll get a win. It's
going to be very close. I think these injuries are
you know, we got too many key injuries. But I

(31:36):
think we can survive. I'm still more concerned about, you know,
the scrambling ability of Justin Fields because he's really a
running back playing quarterback and and and just hope that
that just don't kill us too much of money. And
I think offensively we'll move the ball. But I just
don't know what this defense is gonna do. Yeah, just

(31:59):
don't know. From what I've seen. It just hasn't been good,
you know, but you know it's and you're given the Sunday,
anything can happen. So I'm just gonna ask God for
favor to help us get the two, two and one.
That even sounds crazy saying that, but yeah, we'll just
we'll just have to have some faith and see what

(32:21):
and see what they can do, and just get through
the week. Get healthy. I believe when we're fully healthy
on both sides of the ball, I think the defense
will come be a little bit better if if we
get healthier, and and then Eva Flus would have some
humility and just just switch up some things every now
and then because our offense is playing well, so.

Speaker 5 (32:43):
We'll just have to see what's your score.

Speaker 13 (32:47):
It's gonna I think it's gonna be close. Probably through
three quarters, but I think we can twenty four twenty.

Speaker 7 (32:58):
All right, thank you past, good hearing from you.

Speaker 13 (33:01):
Yeah, good hit me, y'all be blessed man, Yeah sir.

Speaker 5 (33:04):
Hey, now what what what? What have our defense average
giving up a game? Totally? Yuch, no, no, no, I'm too
much score, but twenty five.

Speaker 4 (33:14):
Twenty twenty, twenty eight, twenty eight.

Speaker 5 (33:17):
Twenty two, twenty two.

Speaker 2 (33:19):
Because everybody always say we're gonna win, like twenty four, this,
this and the other. It is like our defense been
giving up way more than what everybody's averaging.

Speaker 8 (33:31):
You know what I'm saying, twenty four to thirty seven,
thirty one forty, so.

Speaker 4 (33:35):
We average thirty something twenty nine thirty yeah, right, so.

Speaker 2 (33:39):
That you know, hey, they ain't gonna you know, they
ain't gonna sco for twenty one. I'm like, oh, okay,
all right, you can say I got a defense, but
everybody keep giving us a score like we've got.

Speaker 5 (33:49):
A defense is thirty three points?

Speaker 7 (33:52):
Thirty three points a game?

Speaker 2 (33:53):
Yeah, So from now on, y'all, we're giving up thirty
three points a game. So when you say they only
go give up twenty one, that they are gonna.

Speaker 7 (34:00):
What was this what was the stat Justin Fields has
never won a game?

Speaker 4 (34:04):
Yeah, Justin Fields is oh and twenty five when a
Justin Fields let team gives up twenty one points more.

Speaker 6 (34:14):
So, all we gotta do is get to twenty two,
twenty one, twenty one and we're golding. All right, All
let's take our last break when we come back, predictions,
and maybe one more phone call when we come back
hang with the boys, be right back.

Yes, not president.

I guess.

Speaker 7 (37:58):
All right, Chris, do we have one?

All right, Now, that's those are my songs. That's my
eras right there, mine too.

Speaker 7 (38:19):
How are you?

Speaker 14 (38:21):
I'm good. How are you guys doing?

Speaker 7 (38:22):
We're doing great. What's on your mind?

Speaker 12 (38:24):
Well?

Speaker 14 (38:25):
I just like to say that I think our defense
is going to do better. I think they just need
to get off of these penalties and we should be
fine because then they'll get off the film on third
down and I think the offense will take care of
it from there, and my score is going to be

(38:45):
thirty five seventeen. Yes, and I love bad Bunny.

Speaker 4 (38:49):
Okay, Okay, I think he is awesome.

Speaker 14 (38:52):
I think that we need to get off this you know,
old school stuff. There's young people coming up and he's
a beautiful young man and they need to they need
to give him that chance along with Kendrick Lamark.

Speaker 5 (39:07):
He was awesome this man, Okay, Michella, And you.

Speaker 14 (39:11):
Know I'm I'm seventy, so I love the young stuff
that's coming up, but I still love my old school stuff.

Speaker 7 (39:19):
It's okay to like it all.

Speaker 4 (39:20):
You don't be twerking because you lamar, do you excuse me?

Speaker 5 (39:31):
Call back?

Speaker 7 (39:32):
Please shout out to thank you so much.

Speaker 4 (39:38):
I know she wanted to throw in that hip of
the circle.

Speaker 5 (39:40):
Yeah, yes, holder that was. I ain't too old school
for that way. You know what, thank you?

Speaker 7 (39:48):
I just what's your stat to watch this week?

Speaker 4 (39:51):
For me, it's gonna be about the rushing yards for
Justin Fields. But I do have a question for you guys.
Where were you October two thousand and three? Can you
remember where you were October two thousand and three? October
two thousand and three, Chris two years ago, two thousand
and three, oh.

Speaker 5 (40:10):
Two thousand October two thousand and three.

Speaker 4 (40:14):
Yeah, you got ourselves was coaching the team? Do you
know where you were at? What were you doing in
October two thousand.

Speaker 5 (40:20):
Three getting beat fifty two to at the metal Lands?
Wasn't I was? What was it?

Speaker 8 (40:25):
Jess was working for the Rangers.

Speaker 7 (40:27):
Where were you, Jesse?

Speaker 5 (40:28):
I wasn't old.

Speaker 4 (40:29):
Let me tell you I was at the campus Universit
North Carolina knocking them down. But no, Chris, Chris, You're
probably right you were. You were probably at the Meadowlands
in two thousand and three because that was the last
time that the Cowboys beat beat the Jets at in
that life of Meadowlands. Wow, that's a whole generation Ober
two thousand and three.

Speaker 5 (40:48):
We want to hear Stack.

Speaker 4 (40:49):
Come on my stat now is rushing yards? Can you
keep justin fields under fifty yards?

Speaker 6 (40:55):
Rushing fields under fifty yep, fields under fifty.

Speaker 5 (41:00):
And if he get over fifty you said the.

Speaker 4 (41:01):
Win win in trouble. I don't know if I'm supposed
to say this, but like, I'll just say this. As
we were walking in, we witnessed some of the pattern
that they were trying to work on to make sure
that guys knew in the RPO who had the quarterback,
So communicating to stop the RPO and that level of quarterback,

(41:24):
there has to be communication. Guys have to know I
got the running back, you have the quarterback every single
time because they're going to they know that deploying Justin
Fields in the run game is paramount for their success.
They're not gonna be to throw their way to victory
because that's not who Justin Fields is. I saw a
spray chart of Justin Fields and him throwing the ball

(41:46):
last game. All his passes, damn this have the couple
that went down the field to Garrett Wilson were under
ten yards, so he ain't. I'm not worried about the
big explosive forty fifty yard are supposed to plays down
the field. When I am fearful of somebody misses an assignment,
somebody goes inside, somebody's not rushing their lanes properly. Two

(42:06):
guys go for the running back and Justin Fields takes
the ball out of his gut, comes out and uh
it takes the ball down the field forty fifty yards.
So that's that's my biggest fear. And they have to
communicate that part when it comes to Justice.

Speaker 6 (42:19):
Kurt Jesse's assessment is nod.

Speaker 4 (42:25):
We struggled. We struggle historically with the Cowboys when it
comes to rushing quarterbacks the mobile.

Speaker 7 (42:30):
Especially this year.

Speaker 6 (42:31):
Yeah, nay, give me two guys to watch on the
Jets this week.

Speaker 5 (42:35):
Oh Man number ninety five man Quinny.

Speaker 2 (42:37):
That is that Quinn and Nelson. That dude is a beast.
I love him. I love three techniques. I value them
more than anything on defense and they have one.

Speaker 5 (42:48):
They have one?

Speaker 7 (42:49):
And who else should I watch? Could be offense or defense?

Speaker 5 (42:54):
Man, I don't know nobody else. I'm just watching.

Speaker 4 (42:58):
Sau guard now. I'm intrigued about that match up the
cornerback Sauce Guardner and George Pickens. That's gonna be a
good match.

Speaker 7 (43:04):
At your matchup to watch.

Speaker 4 (43:05):
Yeah, there might be a fight too.

Speaker 5 (43:06):
I like.

Speaker 4 (43:06):
I like because they're gonna get into Yes, I like that.
I like a little.

Speaker 7 (43:09):
I like a little.

Speaker 4 (43:10):
I like a little.

Speaker 7 (43:11):
Pickens is due, he's almost been in a couple.

Speaker 2 (43:14):
Yeah, because the other guy. I don't want the other
guy to get loose. That means if quarterback running Bryce Bryce.

Speaker 5 (43:21):
Hall, Yeah, I do not want him to get loose.
He can do it all. Catch in throw. I don't
not want him to get Is there.

Speaker 7 (43:27):
One other guy we should watch?

Speaker 5 (43:28):
Jesse?

Speaker 4 (43:29):
From your point, McDonald, there there there are the defensive
ending McDonald. He likes juice. He has some juice. He
has some juice. And if you're down, if you're down.

Speaker 5 (43:37):
Yes, sir, that's when he come into play.

Speaker 4 (43:39):
If you're down, he can get some juice. He got
some juice. And and and I don't know what offensive
line of the plan either. Yeah, so that's another that's
the scary thing. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (43:50):
Behind by seven to ten points, that's when that dude
gonna show.

Speaker 6 (43:54):
Well, all right, well let's find out if that's gonna happen. Kurt,
what is your prediction for the score.

Speaker 8 (43:58):
I'm gonna stick with the Cowboys. We got the better quarterback,
but we gotta score thirty. So I'm saying thirty three
to gotta score at least twenty one. Yeah, thirty three
to twenty one.

Speaker 7 (44:11):
Thirty Cowboys are two and a half.

Speaker 5 (44:13):
Everybody keeps saying we got a great defense.

Speaker 6 (44:15):
Yeah, thirty three twenty one. Chris, what you got?

Speaker 5 (44:20):
I'll go with Dallas.

Speaker 7 (44:21):
I'll go thirty five thirty two. Wow, thirty five thirty two, Nate.

Speaker 5 (44:30):
Uh, but we're gonna blow the cats out.

Speaker 2 (44:32):
Man, oh man, I'm telling when we've been hitting this
sixty nine yard field goal.

Speaker 5 (44:36):
To win it, it's over. Were blowing them.

Speaker 7 (44:37):
Out Cowboys by two by three?

Speaker 5 (44:39):
Three?

Speaker 7 (44:40):
Hey, it was about.

Speaker 2 (44:41):
How do everybody keep saying our defense is none existent?

Speaker 5 (44:45):
But it's twenty this and twenty that. Y'all believe in
our defense.

Speaker 2 (44:49):
But this is a subliminal and saying in the subliminal
mind the lead that our defense is great.

Speaker 5 (44:55):
The way they go way to go fans.

Speaker 8 (44:56):
Hey, you just had a blowout by three.

Speaker 2 (44:58):
So yeah, yeah, that could be thirty three, that could
be fifty three.

Speaker 7 (45:05):
I'm gonna go. I think this is gonna be the
lowest scoring game of the year.

Speaker 5 (45:08):
Okay, Okay, what you.

Speaker 6 (45:10):
Got Cowboys twenty seven, Jets twenty You gotta hold them,
gotta hold them below twenty one.

Speaker 7 (45:16):
We gotta score more than twenty one.

Speaker 5 (45:17):
Yeah right.

Speaker 7 (45:18):
I think it's gonna be a close game, though.

Speaker 5 (45:20):
So you're gonna go twenty one.

Speaker 7 (45:22):
Twenty seven to twenty Cowboys.

Speaker 4 (45:23):
Jesse, I'm with you in the sense I think this
is gonna be a low scoring game. I do. I
think the Cowboys on the road. They'll have a makeship
offensive line, they'll be down a bunch of weapons. But
I am sticking with they gotta score more than twenty
one points some more.

Speaker 5 (45:40):
Yeah, okay?

Speaker 4 (45:41):
Twenty two nineteen twenty the Cowboys equal.

Speaker 7 (45:46):
How do we get to twenty? We got, Josh, I
don't know we're getting the safety in the I don't know.

Speaker 4 (45:50):
Well, hell, we bought to kick last week.

Speaker 16 (45:52):
And see that nobody had that. Yes, Josh, back there
with you, Chris, Yeah, he's back here. What's he got
his prediction on hanging talking twenty three fourteen.

Speaker 7 (46:06):
Twenty three, Oh a low scoring two?

Speaker 6 (46:08):
All right, all right, fellas, good stuff. We will be
back on victory Monday.

Speaker 5 (46:14):
Everybody think our defense is great?

Speaker 16 (46:16):
Man?

Speaker 7 (46:17):
This one game, Wow, this one game.

Speaker 4 (46:21):
If Justin Fields had a like if he was a thrower,
I would be concerned. He's not a thrower, man, And
I say that today and watch Monday. Look Justin Fields,
like in his career, Justin Fields only has four three
hundred yard.

Speaker 7 (46:35):
Games AFC Offensive Player of the Week. That's crazy.

Speaker 4 (46:38):
That's because he rushed for one hundred and fifty yards
and through for one hundred and twenty five. But like
even in the season. He doesn't happen between and fifty
yards passing the season. I know he got knocked out
of one game and missed another game, but he's not
a guy who's gonna fill the stats. He's up with
throwing the ball around the park. So I don't I
don't fear that part. And again I say that now,
and I hope back Monday he's like Justin Bill three
hundred yards passing seventy nine yards rushing.

Speaker 7 (46:57):
I hope you're right, all right, Fellas, good scene, India, Chris,
have a safe trip. We will be back Monday. Victory
Monday came with the Boys.
