Speaker 1 (01:37):
It does? It does? Wow?
Speaker 9 (01:39):

Speaker 1 (01:41):
Okay, all right, I will know how true you all, But.
Speaker 9 (01:46):
I love your shirt, by the way, little five death,
thank you. Last time I wore this.
Speaker 10 (01:50):
I wore this once because Jesse gave me so much
crap about wearing a Peanuts shirt.
Speaker 9 (01:55):
That's joy on it.
Speaker 8 (01:56):
That like the brother but that like the brothers the
other day with the little square had everything that was
like frank Franklin.
Speaker 6 (02:03):
Yep, black Franklin.
Speaker 9 (02:04):
Yeah, black Franklin.
Speaker 6 (02:06):
So black Franklin.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
Yeah, sure that's them, dreads my wish black.
Speaker 9 (02:13):
I think he is.
Speaker 6 (02:14):
Franklin was black. Is this the one that left on
the other end of the table that things happened?
Speaker 11 (02:19):
Yeah, he was.
Speaker 6 (02:20):
He was here this one. This is the one that's
probably why I gave you crap about it, because this
was the one that set They set him by hisself
at the Thanksgiving table.
Speaker 11 (02:30):
Yeah, that's Franklin.
Speaker 6 (02:31):
That's Franklin. Okay, let me see, let me see my brother.
They said, Franklin by himself.
Speaker 9 (02:34):
He's kind of it's kind of in between. Is he
is he your brother?
Speaker 6 (02:41):
I ain't know, way between.
Speaker 8 (02:42):
I was like, take the shirt off, Hold on a.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
Minute, jests man, they're.
Speaker 6 (02:52):
Gonna sit Frankly, they said, my boy Franklin. They packed
on one side myself. Don't do my boy like that. Man,
don't do Frankly, don't do that to my boy. Franklin. Man,
sit somebody next to him, you know what, Like what's
minus minus go over there with at least put somebody
(03:15):
nineteen sixties. Yeah, trying to make it the color. But hey,
we're lucky. We let you sit here. Be thankful you
sit that, you get this tape.
Speaker 1 (03:27):
We's a good wow.
Speaker 9 (03:32):
Speaking of when are we getting food? Chris's our drop.
Speaker 10 (03:36):
I don't know, all right, well, I think I think
December first, Chris.
Speaker 8 (03:42):
Chris went from being confident to to maybe too.
Speaker 1 (03:47):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (03:48):
That was well, it was here's what, here's what.
Speaker 9 (03:51):
The lesson to be learned.
Speaker 10 (03:53):
Anytime, don't move it from Tuesday after anytime you have
an opportunity to get anything for free, it when it's offered.
Speaker 9 (04:01):
But what happened, what had happened.
Speaker 10 (04:03):
Was we were going to bring wings in on Tuesday,
and then we talked about it as a group and
we were like, if we don't win the game, it's
just gonna be a miserable experience trying to eat and
be happy and talk about these great wings. And the
season just got smashed, and so let's move it a
couple of days. And then I guess the rug just
got jerked right out from under us.
Speaker 9 (04:25):
So people and.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
I can just send an email and it just got
pushed push pushed, So sorry, guys.
Speaker 6 (04:30):
You have to touch push on them. Yeah, they touched
pushed us right past the Philly game.
Speaker 9 (04:35):
Oh that's fine, that's fine, And we'll get to that
in a minute.
Speaker 10 (04:38):
First, let's talk about on this dreary do they normally
practice outside?
Speaker 6 (04:44):
Yeah? I am, I am, I'm not gonna lie. I
was super surprised because.
Speaker 9 (04:48):
I've dropped pulled up, I heard the music. I'm like,
I was like, they're not inside.
Speaker 10 (04:51):
That doesn't normally happen, right, Yeah, especially when you're playing
at home. Is it just because it's fun to play
in the rain.
Speaker 6 (04:59):
It's not fun. It's I don't know who. I don't
know who made that up that it's fun to play
in the rain. It's never been fun to play as
someone who's playing in the rain. It's never been fun
to play in the rain ever, really, never, even when
it's warm.
Speaker 1 (05:09):
Never.
Speaker 11 (05:10):
They won't play out in outside till like December, the
Christmas either. All the next four games or done.
Speaker 6 (05:18):
I don't know why.
Speaker 9 (05:19):
That's very interesting.
Speaker 10 (05:20):
Yeah huh, something else interesting And I wanted to get
you guys opinion on this. Someone showed up on the
injury report yesterday with the with the hip and its
supposedly not a big deal. Inappropriate we can get who wasn't,
who wasn't, wouldn't Kurt if anybody got hip problems in
(05:41):
this building.
Speaker 6 (05:42):
Should be keep them things old up. And they say,
you know you, you know you want to say if
you lose it, Kurse said not me. Curse said not today,
not today.
Speaker 10 (05:53):
Today, mister Prescott was on the injury report with a
hip and it sounds like it's not too serious.
Speaker 9 (05:59):
It's be kind of downplayed.
Speaker 10 (06:01):
But I I think anytime it's significant enough for your
quarterback to show up on the injury report, especially with
somebody that torques the way he.
Speaker 9 (06:15):
Torks when he throws.
Speaker 10 (06:16):
And to me, I don't know if this is a
minor deal because listening to some of the other sports
talk radio shows, it's kind of like, oh, yeah, he.
Speaker 9 (06:26):
Just showed up and not a big deal. Is this
a big deal? It's kind of like.
Speaker 10 (06:29):
Having a an offensive lineman with a bad back.
Speaker 6 (06:34):
Right tiring PSD kind of needs you.
Speaker 9 (06:37):
Kind of need your back to you kind of need
your hips to throw right.
Speaker 10 (06:41):
So is it like a bruise or is it like
something going on in a joint.
Speaker 6 (06:45):
I'm hearing it's kind of like a hip pointer. So
he was hit in the.
Speaker 9 (06:49):
Hip, which is what basically a bruise.
Speaker 6 (06:52):
Bruce. Yeah, Now depending on how we're talking about how
deep in doubt. I didn't want to say it, God
you said, but you know that that that bruising gets
it goes far enough, and that thing could really really
impact your runner.
Speaker 1 (07:07):
Still use the horse letting them in the dim his
ms O.
Speaker 6 (07:11):
I don't know nothing about that. I thought you're gonna
go hot towel again. No, we can't. It's the quarterback
right to the medicine.
Speaker 9 (07:21):
Getting yeah, horse drugs horse.
Speaker 11 (07:23):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (07:24):
No, I don't know because without.
Speaker 11 (07:26):
Him it's done.
Speaker 1 (07:29):
Oh yeah.
Speaker 6 (07:30):
I don't think it's bad enough that he won't play, though,
because when we get to the game on Sunday, whenever
he's talking about, they're gonna shoot him up with whatever
whatever whatever Nate was talking about, that's what they're going
to inject.
Speaker 11 (07:41):
Yeah, you better not be out there today slipping around.
Speaker 10 (07:44):
And his age fall down breaking hip.
Speaker 9 (07:49):
What is he eighty seven?
Speaker 6 (07:50):
Thirty three is like, that's like eighty seven the dog
is like football years.
Speaker 10 (07:53):
Where's he at in the in the Joe Flacke obviously
the oldest guy in the league, quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, and
then he's in top FO Kirk Cousins and then probably.
Speaker 6 (08:04):
Dak right that probably that's probably up the dude. We
just played Geno Norford, Stafford, Stafford Stafford.
Speaker 1 (08:11):
Did Gino come in with Dak before after?
Speaker 9 (08:14):
I thought he came in right after? Yeah, years after, But.
Speaker 6 (08:17):
The way he played, you don't think he did at
old Gino. Yeah, Dak thirty three, thirty years and you
got my age quicker than you're getting that he's.
Speaker 11 (08:31):
The sixth six.
Speaker 9 (08:33):
Who's the ahead of him?
Speaker 11 (08:34):
Rogers, Flaco, Stafford, Russell Wilson, Gino Smith, you know.
Speaker 9 (08:39):
Wow, there you go, Nate, there you go.
Speaker 6 (08:41):
Gino was like thirty seven thirty yeah, and he looked
every bitter thirty four for Gino thirty thirty four, yeah,
thirty four. Yeah.
Speaker 9 (08:49):
You know.
Speaker 10 (08:49):
What's always amazed me about the physical one of the
physical attributes of pro football players, maybe just athletes in general.
Speaker 6 (08:58):
How old some these Cats look like some.
Speaker 10 (09:02):
Of them come in the league at twenty twenty one,
and they look like they're thirty four years old.
Speaker 6 (09:05):
And you don't understand the stress that comes along with
this game.
Speaker 1 (09:09):
Y'all know what it is.
Speaker 6 (09:10):
Y'all get this to see. Y'all think it's just all glory.
This game is stressful, bro, This game? Where's you out?
I'm telling you, bro, like this is a stressful game.
Every single week. It's a new game plan. Every single week.
There's a new opponent that you're trying to figure out.
(09:31):
I'm up late at night trying to figure out what
what little technique can I can I win with? And
then you know, if there's two levels of pressure, there's
a pressure of If I'm Dak Prescott, I have the
pressure of the franchise on my shoulders, the.
Speaker 10 (09:47):
Franchise just defranchise, but the franchise in football.
Speaker 6 (09:51):
If I'm Jesse Holly, I got the pressure on trying
to live to see another day. Like you know what
I'm saying, Like, the pressure doesn't stop, and it's all
up in in between there, And it's the longer you
get into this game all up in between there, and
the longer you're in this game. The stress never stops.
It never ever stops. This game is a mental whooping.
Speaker 1 (10:15):
You know the funny thing about it. If you come
in the league ugly, he's going to get ugly.
Speaker 9 (10:20):
Get ugly. You don't know. They got all kind of
surgery they can fix you.
Speaker 8 (10:26):
Use so ugly, Yeah you're still ugly because yeah, it
ain't gonna land on your heal ten days and the
first shot you take that's wrong.
Speaker 1 (10:35):
You'll be back that saying.
Speaker 6 (10:36):
So everybody doesn't get a chance to age like Rick Fox.
Speaker 1 (10:38):
You know what I'm saying, That's right.
Speaker 6 (10:40):
Rick Fox is lucky.
Speaker 1 (10:41):
Dude.
Speaker 6 (10:41):
Every time I see Rick Fox always I said, man,
what what's he looking like?
Speaker 11 (10:44):
Now?
Speaker 6 (10:44):
Is he's still looking insome as hell?
Speaker 9 (10:46):
And he's what seventy eight?
Speaker 6 (10:48):
Rick Fox? Not seventy eight now he's sixty, sixty, fifty
fifty nine to sixteen.
Speaker 10 (10:54):
This just for no reason, but it just always amazes me.
Some dudes just nineteen years old, they look like they're thirty.
Speaker 6 (11:02):
Yeah the game, will you out brother, get way out back?
Speaker 1 (11:07):
How is your mom and dad alight?
Speaker 9 (11:16):
Let's get into a little bit of football.
Speaker 5 (11:19):
Is this.
Speaker 10 (11:21):
We talked about it this year? Is Philly the worst
best team ever because they don't seem to dominate anybody
this year. Their wide receiving corps is mad as hell
because they're not getting the ball enough. Sakwan's having an
off year. Everybody criticizes their quarterback. Their defense has been
(11:42):
carrying them through games, but even great defenses have off games.
Speaker 9 (11:46):
Everyone, but they don't lose. They seem to just win
every single game.
Speaker 10 (11:51):
So does this set up as a an opportunity for
the Cowboys to be in the right place at the
right time and take advantage of kind of all the
disarray that seems like they're in, or they just one
of those teams that you're gonna look back at the
end of the year and they're gonna lose four games
and they're.
Speaker 9 (12:10):
Gonna march right to the super Bowl by being a what.
Speaker 10 (12:13):
Looks like a mediocre team that just beats good teams
every week.
Speaker 1 (12:17):
On this, for me, they they are beating you.
Speaker 8 (12:24):
And I'm not saying there, thank you, thank you, brother,
thank you, thank you, brother.
Speaker 1 (12:27):
Shanon.
Speaker 8 (12:28):
I meant to I saw that when I was driving.
I meant to get it, but I'm old.
Speaker 1 (12:33):
What this means to me is they're beating you. Basically,
with basic talent.
Speaker 8 (12:39):
Uh, everybody that they go up against, they find a way.
Jesse as always said, and I believe this that they
have a middle of the road quarterback that don't make
a lot of mistakes.
Speaker 1 (12:53):
When you don't give the.
Speaker 8 (12:54):
Ball over and you take the ball away, now it
comes out and who's the toughest, who's the meaning And
that's what they've been doing. Even though aj Brown has
been raising all that came, they refuse to get away
from the way they're winning. They are basically they've been
in playoff mode. Not their mindset, but the way they
(13:14):
have been playing. They've been in playoff mode. We're just
gonna go out here and what we need to do
is win this game so we can advance to the
next game. As much offensive power as they have, and
this ain't one of these teams where you say, oh.
Speaker 1 (13:30):
This guy could be in. This guy.
Speaker 8 (13:32):
We know that these two our receivers are awesome. We
know that they're running back. It's awesome. So as much
for our power as they have, they haven't had, they haven't.
Speaker 1 (13:44):
Had to use it.
Speaker 8 (13:47):
I think I don't know who the offensive coordinator is, Yes,
I do. Kevin whatever the patulo he has not open
things up. I don't even know if they have tried, Jesse,
you could tell you better if they've tried to open
things up. But days like we're gonna beat you, we
(14:10):
just gonna score room. We need to score. If they
just improve their red zone, they will get seven or
eight more points a game. If they just get in
the red zone and score. When they get in the
red zone, score seven. They'll be a seven or eight
point team better. Now, it's just a little bit of film.
I've not watched a lot of film of their offense.
I watch more of their offense when when the games
(14:32):
are being played. But the defense, I love the defense
so much that I do break that down. This team
has just been dominating with their defense and not making
a lot of bad special team plays. Now they've had
a couple of blocks where they've blocked folks. Their defense
has just been carrying this thing. And right now they're
(14:54):
coach don't even care that wide receiver a Brown raising
all that saying he don't care, because if he did,
he would, you know, they threw to him a little
bit more of this past game. But they ain't really
change what they've been trying to do. They are saying,
show us you can beat us, and then maybe we'll change,
and they ain't. I don't think they're gonna change until
(15:15):
somebody come at them and blow them out, and then
they may have a need to change.
Speaker 1 (15:20):
Jesse may have a different opinion.
Speaker 6 (15:22):
Yeah. One of the things that and I understand why
AJ Brown to use NAT's term is raising a lot
of KP. And AJ's not saying, hey, throw me the ball.
AJ's saying, we need to fix what we're doing on offense,
because this is not sustainable. If we're talking about winning
(15:46):
a super Bowl. What we're doing offensively, not me getting
the ball, not me what we're doing on offense and
from the quarterback position, it's not sustainable. While it's yielding
successful results, now it'll be an early exit in the
playoffs once you face a good team who has a
time to really focus and hone in on how to
(16:08):
stop that. And so that's AJ's biggest gripe. He's saying,
let's start working this thing that so we can carry,
excuse me, ourselves to the playoffs. That's his gripe. His
gripe is not get meet the ball. His gripe is
we need to play better offense. We can't keep relying
on the defense to bail us out. Very similar to
how the Cowboys operate, just opposite direction. For a majority
(16:32):
of the season, the defense solely relied on the offense
to come up with the play to win games every
single time. And the moment they couldn't, the moment dak
in that offense and shoddy, they couldn't go score for score,
you lost. Okay, this defense has been holding up its
into the bargain and they have all the firepower, they
have everything. Now. This is their first year offensive coordinator, Patulo.
(16:59):
That's another reason why they've kind of struggled offensively. Jalen
Hurts has had about five or six offensive coordinators in
his time. He kind of almost changed office coordinators just
about every other year. Yes, it does just about almost
every year, it feels like, but definitely every other year
he's had a different offensive coordinator. And while some of
the plays have stayed the same, how you call them,
(17:22):
what are the emphasis in them? How you run, how
you want to run them. The thing what Jalen Hurts
is he is so risk averse, meaning he doesn't want
to turn the ball over, so he'd rather take a
sack he's rather tuck it and run it. He'd rather
check it down, throw it out of bounds than to
(17:43):
put it in harm's way and turn the ball over.
And that's maybe because that's just how he wants to
run things, or he believed that their defense is good
enough that putting the ball away is better than throwing
an interception, trying to fit the ball in a tight window.
Speaker 11 (17:58):
And when you have one interception and they only have
one in it.
Speaker 6 (18:01):
Right, Like, he's not putting the ball in harm's way.
So like if you're looking for Jalen Hurst to throw two, three,
four in steps in the game, I wouldn't put lunch
money on that, you know what I mean.
Speaker 9 (18:13):
The problem is, unless he's throwing at Revel, his daddy
will tell you.
Speaker 6 (18:17):
Daddy will tell you he's gonna get too right, Yeah,
daddy will tell you that he's gonna get too and
and and that's been the biggest that's been the biggest
issue with this with this team, and even even with
say Kwan Barkley. You know, his carriers are down this year.
Part of that is they maybe they can't he I mean,
his carries is down by almost one hundred and forty carries.
(18:39):
If you look at what he carried the ball this
year this time last year, he is like one hundred
and thirty hundred and forty carries less. Wow this year.
Speaker 11 (18:46):
Is he worn out or they're just not giving him
the ball?
Speaker 6 (18:49):
I think because of the wather they ran him last
year trying to kind of limit his usage. Part of that.
Also part of it.
Speaker 8 (18:57):
They're not blocking the same you know, and guard center
and the bright tackle. I heard the center and right tackle.
Speaker 6 (19:04):
And then remember they lost their they lost their right
guard and free agency. Yeah, I forget his name, but
he he was he was a first round pick to
the Jets and didn't he was a tackle. Then they
moved to guard. Meet them right guard they're former white
(19:25):
guard Becton. Yeah, Makai Becton. So they lost him as well.
And and and so they that offensive line is still
in influx. And yeah, and maybe the Cowboys this can
be there. This can be the week that they kind
of I use it. I use the term. You remember
in three hundred when he kicked them into that hole.
(19:46):
This can be the This can be that type of
game where you can kick them into that hole and
in the house of cards fall.
Speaker 9 (19:53):
Because they're looking at that this somebody's gonna get them.
Speaker 6 (19:56):
When I here's the thing. When I watched this film offensively,
it was very reminiscent of the Jason Garrett years. Offensively,
for the receivers, they're running slants, curls, Harvey routes, and
the Harvey route is fifteen yards, come right back down
the stem, kind of fade out a little bit, not
a comeback, and then go routes. So a lot of
(20:17):
what they're running on the outside, they're running a lot
of twelve personnel, one back, two tight ends, two wide receivers.
You'll start seeing them use a little bit more of
the tackle eligible, so they'll bring another tackle in. They're
trying to do things differently to block up for Saquon.
And also when they go to pass the ball, I
(20:38):
mean they open up the Detroit Lions game. They threw
about the first six times, the first six places, seven
players against the Detroit passes. It was past places, so
that like they'll they'll kind of try to attempt to
do it. But the routes that they have and these
guys are running, there's no creativity in it, and I
think that's what's killing them because you can't be in
this league in today's football offensively and don't lack a
(21:00):
level of creativity.
Speaker 10 (21:02):
All right, let's take our first break. By the way,
I really hope they win this week. But if any
of y'all listening out there no Cowboy fans, you ain't
gonna be able to live with them, because we go
into the super Bowl and if we get mathematically eliminated,
wait till next year. Like if they win this week,
(21:23):
you will not be able to stay. If you're not
a Cowboy fan, you will not be able.
Speaker 9 (21:27):
To stay in the same room with one.
Speaker 10 (21:29):
Because here we come, we come, and baby, hey, we
take a break, We'll be right back on hanging with
the boys.

Back to Hanging with the Bulls.
Speaker 10 (23:44):
Welcome back to the second segment. I Hang On with the
Boys brought you each and every show by a blockchain
dot com bucko, thank you blockchain dot Com. All right,
we got a little taste of the Cowboys defense.
Speaker 6 (23:57):
How'd you like it? I tasted good?
Speaker 1 (24:00):
Look good, tasted good.
Speaker 11 (24:02):
Just trying to get trying to get.
Speaker 6 (24:07):
Sorry.
Speaker 1 (24:08):
You're gonna be like the brother at the table.
Speaker 9 (24:12):
Outside.
Speaker 10 (24:16):
Uh, got a little taste of the defense last week
with the new look. What do you guys expect out
of the defense this week? Do you expect this is
a really good offensive line, maybe one of the best
offensive lines in the number three I think.
Speaker 11 (24:32):
Uh, now again they're missing two starters.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
Yeah, what do you.
Speaker 9 (24:40):
Do you think we're gonna get We're gonna see.
Speaker 10 (24:44):
Is it gonna resemble more of what it did this
past week or what it did in weeks prior somewhere
in between?
Speaker 6 (24:50):
Okay, good call. I think I think I think the
days of what we saw weeks one through seven or eight,
whatever that was prior to trade to the trade, I
think those days are done. Those type of days are done. Good.
But I don't think as dominant as you saw against.
Speaker 8 (25:10):
Because they twelve times raise is not a good football team.
Speaker 6 (25:14):
They're not a good football Yeah. So like that, that
was a that was a great game. To warm it up.
You can fall in and this is what you've this
is what not youeves per se, But this is what
you've asked for. You've asked don't be the worst, You're
probably not going to be the best. Be somewhere in between.
That's what the people have asked for, right, they've asked
for Hey, be middle of the road. You've asked for it, right,
(25:36):
So what I'm saying be b fifteen, eighteen twenty with
the way the offense can produce. So I think that's
somewhere you you you level out in somewhere around there.
Speaker 11 (25:46):
Now it should be I mean, with the talent they
have now, right, it should be in that ring.
Speaker 1 (25:51):
What thirty one point game twenty.
Speaker 6 (25:53):
Nine, Yeah, it could have been thirty three. It could
have been an opposite way. Now, like when you, I
went back and I watched the Detroit game Detroit in Philadelphia,
and the one thing that Detroit does is what we're
now starting to do is with the five man fronts.
(26:14):
And I think the way the Eagles try to approach that,
like I was saying before, the Eagles approach to the
five man front, because what the five man front does
now it almost ensures that my five vers your five.
So now there's no doubles. It's one on one across
the board. Now you can zone slide it where it's
(26:35):
not technically one on one, right, whether you slide right
or slide left, or however you do it. I'll let
Nate if he wants to go deeper in that. But
what the Eagles have kind of done to a little
bit more combat that a little bit and like I
said earlier, they've gone to twelfth personnel. They've gone to
one back, two tight ends, to wide receivers. And so
(26:57):
now with that is they'll use their tight ends in
there as one may go out for a pass to
other may block. So now that gives you an opportunity
to go six on five. They also will go tackle
tackle eligible, right, So they'll bring a tackle into the game.
He'll you know, he'll declare eligibility, right. And so now
now I don't know if they'll do that this week
(27:17):
because they're down there right tackle they're they're down Lane
Johnson with the Liz Frank injury. But so they would
bring that tackle, that tackle in to give them a
six man front. Still bring a tight end in, which
now gives them a seven man front. Run two may routes.
And I'll get to you know tomorrow when we do
(27:37):
our pixel prediction. One of the things that I will
be looking at, probably will be my numbers, is, all, right, now,
what happens with Sa Kuan in the passing game, that's
gonna be a critical That's gonna be a critical thing.
So that's why I said it's gonna look a little
bit different than what we saw against the Vegas Raiders
because they tried to go five on five and as
(28:00):
just enough, you weren't good enough for that. You just weren't.
Speaker 9 (28:05):
Before the trade.
Speaker 1 (28:05):
You probably were.
Speaker 6 (28:06):
Before the trade you probably were, you know, or you
at least you had a chance, But post trades you're not.
And so I think that's what Philadelphia will continue to
do because one, it ensures that they can double somewhere,
and then they hope that you can get a little
bit more time for jailing to process things. And because
you're now only running a two man maybe three man
(28:28):
route or two men with a checkdown type route, his
biggest issue is processing. So if he's trying to if
you got three four receivers out there, that he's trying
to go one, two, three back to one, that's too
much for him. He wants to go one two and
get the ball out or one two check down, one two,
tucking and run. So they've kind of worked that out
(28:48):
a little bit, and that's where the lack of creativity
comes offensively, because running only those two man routes, you're
basically going you know, xof you're going old school X
over here, Z over here, and they're running slants, they're
running curls, they're running Harvey's, they're running the routes, and
they're saying, Davante be better than the guy that's defending you.
(29:10):
Aj Brown be better than the guy that's defending you.
Speaker 1 (29:13):
And it's tough.
Speaker 6 (29:14):
It's tough when guys are just sitting on a lot
of those routes because they're not worried about anything else.
Creative guys aren't getting confused because they you know, sometimes
they got a pass the fall because you're running different.
They're like, they ain't doing nothing special.
Speaker 11 (29:27):
But then you mentioned he like you know, tucket and run.
I mean, he earned the Cowboys that first game, like
sixty something yards and two touchdowns. And now I'm wondering,
you got all this pushnail coming in the middle. What's
that due to your outside guys trying to contain him?
Is that gonna be Is it gonna be hard?
Speaker 1 (29:42):
It's too simple.
Speaker 8 (29:43):
Now, if a guy come up out of his lane,
now I'm glad we got enough guys to put him
on the bench. That's that's the simple. And see, I
wouldn't even take the chance. I just tell Donovan because
the rookie gonna list he want to play every snappy Donovan.
Speaker 1 (29:58):
Do not rush is side. Now on the other side
is clowney. Clowny.
Speaker 8 (30:03):
You know how to do this, set the edge and
keep you and maintained, and the other guys they'll fall
right in line right now.
Speaker 6 (30:10):
Your answer to that, your answer to week one agent zero,
that's become your answer. Now run them down.
Speaker 11 (30:19):
Okay, but you're saying that it's easier because you because
you do have all that pushing the Yes, the guys
on the ends aren't coming inside.
Speaker 6 (30:25):
They're gonna they shouldn't.
Speaker 1 (30:27):
Yeah, they shouldn't.
Speaker 8 (30:27):
They shoming inside now they just that's the dude needs
to be sat on the bench.
Speaker 6 (30:31):
Yeah, they shouldn't. But you have you have hopefully you
have a linebacker now that can spy, that can spy,
like because week one you had guys like Sam Williams
and Yo, I'm trying to thinking about.
Speaker 5 (30:49):
Think I didn't think we called names out on the show.
Speaker 9 (30:52):
We just called numbers.
Speaker 6 (30:55):
He just went straight Jack samb Jack.
Speaker 1 (30:58):
Sample.
Speaker 6 (31:00):
You got a frown because you don't want those guys.
Speaker 9 (31:02):
You don't want those guys sm Oklahoma.
Speaker 6 (31:04):
Yeah, Oklahoma, you don't what these guys.
Speaker 9 (31:08):
You know what you want to you know what you
want over, We're gonna take a break.
Speaker 8 (31:14):
Give us some ENTSA oh man, Jack said you didn't
want them guys spying.
Speaker 6 (31:20):
The reason why those guys are on the field. Lot
just saying, all right, let's take that last. Logan Wolfson
is here because never forget that, Like, don't forget that guy.
Logan Wolfson is here. Second guy that you had there.
Speaker 8 (31:31):
Sam Williams, I love you, sped.
Speaker 11 (31:37):
I got other stranks. They don't need to spy.
Speaker 6 (31:39):
Y Sam might catch me at lunch, but really pressed me. A.
Speaker 1 (31:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (31:43):
If there's one person on the team that would it's him.
It'd be him.
Speaker 6 (31:45):
Mike.
Speaker 3 (31:47):

Back to Hang in with the.
Speaker 10 (34:03):
Welcome back to the final segment of Hanging with the Boys,
brought to you each and every show by seven eleven.
And speaking of seven eleven, who this week on this
Eagles offense, are you worried about always being open? You've
got Jalen Hurts, which rushed for what sixty two yards
and two touchdowns? Kurt last time they met. You got
(34:25):
aj Brown, Davante Smith, you got the tight end. You
got Saquan which you talked about being a big part
of their passing game. Who worries you, guys the most
about being breaking out? And always seems like there's always
a player, right sponsor?
Speaker 9 (34:42):
Oh right, Chris, Chris scolded.
Speaker 1 (34:45):
Me, so stop bringing you stop bringing my boy cookies.
Speaker 6 (34:50):
It right.
Speaker 9 (34:52):
I'm like, what do you need me to do?
Speaker 6 (34:53):
Brother?
Speaker 9 (34:53):
What do you need me to do?
Speaker 6 (34:55):
Is Davante It's Davante Smith because he's a guy who
is If there's a route runner, and I'm always going
to be a fan of route runners, there's a route
runner on this football Eagles team, it's it's him. He
has the speed to to run by you. And I
know that seat Belt has had, you know, two good weeks,
(35:18):
but this is a different there's a different beast. There's
a different beast, and this guy's shiftier, he's more craftier.
So if he's going up against if Bland is going
over there against a J. Brown and seat Belt has
to go, or Blands lining up in the slot and
you're putting ravel on AJ Brown, this is going to
(35:40):
be one of them game for seat Belt where you're
going up against a season vet. You're going up against
one of the vets, and he's a he's a route runner.
So that that would be one that I would be
a tad bit worried about being open from that from
the past catching perspective and then not to deal up
(36:01):
haul it all up. But it's gonna be the flats.
It's gonna be Saquon Barkley in the flats. That's going
to be one that we have to keep an eye
on when Saquon leaks out and he's just kind of
creeping around a line of scrimmage and jailing is trying
to find an answer dumping it down because now again
we started talking about this five man front has given
(36:23):
this defense the ability in matt Ebuslusen this defense ability
to go back to the zone, and they wanted to
play right. So I'm rushing five, I'm dropping six. So
if I'm rushing five, now I have a spy, right,
that's six. Now I'm dropping other guys in the coverage.
So whatever that coverage may look like, now that spy
(36:44):
is kind of almost depending upon on keeping an eye
on Jalen Hurts. But also if the ball is dumped
out to the flats, either direction you going, you have
to go on rally to it. If the rest of
the guys are playing you know those quarter type coverages
and and Cover two type coverages up the field, those
flats can be a little bit susceptible to that zone defense,
(37:04):
depending on what type is it they're playing. Cover three.
Guess what that corner is lifted. They're lifted all the
way back that they have that third, all the way
back to safety has that third, has that third. Those
other guys are playing in the middle. So if the
ball is dumped out to those flats and Saquan that's
not a regular back. He gets the ball in the flat,
ain't'll tell her what he'll do. He'll jump over you.
(37:24):
He'll hurdle you know, he'll hurdle you, jump over you,
spinning around you, run you over, juke you, run by you.
So those are the two things that I look at.
We're about being open.
Speaker 8 (37:34):
And don't forget about Dallas Carter, please, that's what that spy.
I don't gonna have to be aware of the quarterback.
If they dumped the guarden, he got to be getting
on his horse. Yeah, hope you're in shape, brother.
Speaker 11 (37:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 10 (37:51):
What about something we haven't really made a big deal
about and haven't talked about that much on this show,
and the national media has and seems like everybody, you.
Speaker 9 (38:00):
Know, push push.
Speaker 10 (38:01):
What how do you guys feel about that? My opinion is,
learn how to stop it with the football play.
Speaker 11 (38:07):
You know, I felt that when they were debating it
last spring, I felt like that same way, but now
they never call it. Those guys jump off sites all
the time.
Speaker 6 (38:17):
I falls start.
Speaker 11 (38:18):
I feel like the referees can't police it. So then
maybe new did need to take it out.
Speaker 6 (38:24):
Got a good feeling everybody call one off side this game.
But I asked a question on my other shows, are
the cowboys?
Speaker 9 (38:31):
Are they built to stop?
Speaker 6 (38:32):
They built to stop it? You know, you you add
in a lot of meat.
Speaker 10 (38:35):
You gotta all right man, all right, bro, I'm just
a lot of big bodies.
Speaker 6 (38:41):
You gotta push god dog. Bro.
Speaker 9 (38:43):
You see, I did not even mean to say that.
Speaker 6 (38:46):
Come home.
Speaker 9 (38:48):
You know what I meant to say. You immediately jumped.
Speaker 6 (38:51):
I don't know you immediately jump. I don't know what
you meant to say. I don't know. I don't know
what you meant to say. I don't know what you
meant to say because I don't talk like that.
Speaker 1 (39:00):
You know, a lot of times when you eat a lot.
Speaker 10 (39:03):
Of I don't eat bonus wing, I don't talk like
I don't talk like that.
Speaker 8 (39:07):
Yeah, yeah, when you when you eat a lot of
sweets sometimes yeah sugar.
Speaker 9 (39:11):
Yeah, I didn't have any today.
Speaker 6 (39:13):
Maybe that's the problem. But yeah, I think the Cowboys
and now you're adding on, you're adding one for you
who was just activated, uh so something. So now you
got you got what's his measurable s kirt.
Speaker 11 (39:28):
Ah three forty big? Oh that's not right. They got
him six four, but I know he's over three hundred.
Let me look, go ahead.
Speaker 8 (39:42):
The thing that I believe this year, you know you
got to give the like you gave that the offense
that chance to do all the push in and shoving.
You got to give that somewhere to the defense too.
You know, they can't jump over a guy, launch theirselves
over a guy. I think that is an athletic move.
(40:06):
That when when it's a field goal and I launched
myself over that guy, Oh, they may hurt themselves. Well,
you know a guy put his head straight to the
ground and go to driving. What did somebody just go
with the helm and the driving right in the back
of his neck and paralyze it. That's dangerous too. But
guess what, I think all the football is dangerous. So
if you're going to allow people to push like that
(40:27):
and jamming themselves up like that, you should get a defense,
sum I mean, shouldn't they have that same ability to
do that on certain things. We stopped the touch push
on defense because we used to do it when they
used to put them over the pawner, over the long
snapper and the snapper for their field goal. They stopped
(40:48):
doing that. Oh he's unprotected because he's snapping the ball.
You stop doing it for that. But now you actually
send it to snap the ball and put his head
straight down and driving to.
Speaker 1 (40:58):
The ground up on his neck.
Speaker 8 (41:00):
Okay, so I'm being honest, and so now what when
when somebody get hurt?
Speaker 9 (41:06):
Were not.
Speaker 8 (41:06):
We don't do that anymore because this is the league
that we live in that always looks out for the players.
Come on, man, now, stop start with the tooch push
because defense don't have the same opportunities to do the
same thing that you can do.
Speaker 11 (41:19):
It's not fair Winfre's two nineties Jay who is sorry?
Speaker 9 (41:24):
Three forty he's that big? Does not look that big?
Speaker 6 (41:28):
Who that toyas three forty wins and then three thirty
from Quinnlin three or three real three him got him
light three three on the light day. That's that's you know,
that's right after colors cook fast. You got a thousand
pounds up there now, God, this.
Speaker 1 (41:50):
Looks a last thing they can do is be good
on first and second down.
Speaker 11 (41:54):
Yeah, let's don't get to that.
Speaker 6 (41:55):
Yeah, that's true. That's true.
Speaker 9 (41:57):
And then real quick before we get out of here.
Speaker 10 (41:59):
If you talked about it yesterday, If uh, when you're
worried about getting pulled off the air, time flies, doesn't it.
Speaker 6 (42:05):
Boy.
Speaker 9 (42:06):
If a Doriy Jackson is Philly's mouse.
Speaker 6 (42:09):
In the house, there're gonna be waiting right around the
corner for us.
Speaker 10 (42:16):
I keep checking my phone for text messages. We haven't
gotten one. That could be a good thing or a
bad thing. If a Dori Jackson's Phillies, you know, go
after him? Is do we have somebody on our defense
now with the addition of these new guys and guys
coming back from injuries, that Philly should attack.
Speaker 6 (42:34):
Yeah, I mean I would. I would want to get
Donovan Wilson in space. I don't know what the game
plan is for as snap count, but I like to
get if he's on the if he's on the field,
Kenneth Murray in space, Donovan Wilson in space. I'm still
going I'm still going to check the chin of of
of the of the rookie coming off an injury. I'm
(42:55):
checking that. I'm checking that chin. Show me if that's me,
if I'm if I'm Philly from from Philly with aj Brown,
they are. I'm saying young, I'm saying Rook off a
knee injury. All right, let's let's let's check to see
what rook about on both sides. Kayln Carson, I noticed
your second year. Let's see what you're about.
Speaker 10 (43:14):
And you still you still have one of the best
couple of guys, Hurt, still one of the best offensive
lines in the league. And Saquon do you just say, hey,
we know you added some new guys up front, but
see how good you got.
Speaker 1 (43:27):
Then test them, bro, They have played.
Speaker 8 (43:32):
Equal are better teams than them, and they have lost
one or two of them. And but for the most
part they have won. They have no fear. Now one thing.
I don't like to ride that super Bowl thing, but they.
Speaker 6 (43:45):
Are just turning won three super Bowls.
Speaker 3 (43:49):
My fault, Messy finally show he's been here. He's been
here the whole show.
Speaker 6 (43:59):
Super give us three super Bowls over here.
Speaker 5 (44:04):
We've been here all day.
Speaker 10 (44:06):
He just finally came after somebody fast me, Me and
me and Kenneth and it's Sam.
Speaker 1 (44:12):
This guy, it was Sam. He started was saying, yeah,
he thought it was Hey.
Speaker 9 (44:18):
They hold that thought for twenty four hours. Yeah, they
good seeing your Kurt, good seeing you.
Speaker 5 (44:25):
Hope, we hope, we're still.
Speaker 10 (44:29):
Chris, Thanks for keeping us on their Josh, thanks for
keeping him company.
Speaker 5 (44:32):
Were back to the ub with predictions and he with
the boys.
Speaker 6 (44:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (44:36):
This has been a production of Dallascowboys dot Com and
