Fuck, I'll do better. I gotta do better.

Speaker 8 (02:16):
Man.

Speaker 6 (02:16):
You know what, I am a little bit sometimes I
get a little bit. Nate publicly shamed me about my green,
so I kind of sometime like I wear green this week.
I gotta I get publicly shame by natea by wearing
my green. Even though that lady in that seven eleven,
I still appreciate the comment that you made to me
when I had that green shirt. I carry that with

(02:37):
me all the time. But I want to give a
shout out. I want to give two. I want to
give two shoutouts. Shout out. Number one is to my guy, Roger.
Shout out to Roger. Roger loves the show. And to
Mama Glow. Roger loves our show. He loves like it is.
It is appointment television for Roger. We are appointment television

(02:59):

loves Shannon.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
He loves you.

Speaker 6 (03:04):
Kurt, he somebody he's like, He's like, man, you know
Kurt when he has those zingers, he loves the zingers.
He like Kurt doesn't say much, but every now and
again he'll have he'll have one of those zingers. I
was like, trust me when he has it. We all
laugh at that. But uh, but shout out to Roger Man.
We appreciate you watching our show each and every week.

Speaker 4 (03:24):
Uh yeah, thank you, Roger, Yeah, thank you. Hi Roger.

Speaker 8 (03:27):
How you pronounced number forty's last name? For Denver? Justin
S t r in A D is the R silent?

Speaker 7 (03:38):
Is that.

Speaker 8 (03:40):
Looking at it right?

Speaker 1 (03:44):
N S t r N instead of I don't know, bro.

Speaker 8 (03:51):
Why you like him or no? No, he can he
can sack the quarterback, he can rush the past.

Speaker 5 (03:55):
He's good.

Speaker 9 (03:56):
He's just another guy that can rush the pastor and
he's in there on Nicolas situation sometimes.

Speaker 6 (04:01):
Also my guy the other side side too, shoutouts. Also
my other guy Jack, who we all had, who we
had dinner with, remember last yeah, dinner with Uh. He
always tells me he's like, man, please, what's his name?

Speaker 7 (04:11):
Jack?

Speaker 1 (04:13):
Oh stern ad for the guy he's talking about. I'm
talking about Jack J doub. He went to the JDub.
That's good Jack. Yeah. I can't say Jack.

Speaker 8 (04:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (04:26):
I don't know what's wrong with him.

Speaker 6 (04:29):
He loves you, Yeah, I love it, but anybody else Jack.
He always tells me he's telling Ate that I love
him so.

Speaker 1 (04:37):
Jack, Jack, Jack, that you love him.

Speaker 5 (04:40):
That was the first night I ever saw Nate on
his motorcycle, a lot of motorcycle with a lot of
man on top of it, way up off the ground.

Speaker 4 (04:49):
It wasn't one of the most street hunters.

Speaker 5 (04:52):
Like to see, like a great dang The seat was
about that high and they just climbed up.

Speaker 7 (04:58):
I was like, what.

Speaker 6 (05:01):
In terrific Nate fashion, we're having a we're having a
great dinner at a nice restaurant and then just dinner.

Speaker 4 (05:08):
Didn't know if he didn't know if he's coming.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
Yeah, he showed up. He was there, and then they
got done with his take.

Speaker 6 (05:12):
It was like I fellas, I fellas, I'm out, took
a picture and not going.

Speaker 5 (05:17):
Not only did he parking, he parked his motorcycle on
the sidewalk.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
Yes, and tip tip.

Speaker 6 (05:27):
Keep mine up front, keep mine up. I ain't doing
all that weight, and keep my vehicle up front.

Speaker 4 (05:33):
So Nate called me was it yesterday?

Speaker 5 (05:36):
Yesterday after the show, and wanted me to bring something
up on the show.

Speaker 4 (05:40):
He's like, remind me, let's talk about.

Speaker 5 (05:42):
This because all this all the and it's even gotten,
it's even gotten more crazy than it was earlier in
the week with all the trade rumors and all that.
Now it seems like every hour new names coming out.
Now we're making three or four trades and we get
multiple number one picks.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
But Nate had a great point two days ago.

Speaker 9 (06:05):
Yeah, were supposed to remind me yesterday. I was so
glad that you didn't, because I remember, you know what,
because common sense and what drives the bulk of our shoulders.

Speaker 8 (06:17):
And so the question was.

Speaker 5 (06:22):
Why another shot.

Speaker 10 (06:28):
I got it from Kurt. I got it, I got
it from Kurt got Lord got me laughing.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
Oh, my god.

Speaker 9 (06:39):
Remember guys, when I asked the questions, if something happened
at number ninety five Clark, do you know what's happening next?
And Shannon knew right away. When I called him, I say,
he remind me tomorrow. He said, I knew what you meant,
did Jesse Kurt? Kurt, do you when if ninety five
get hurt? What happens next? If Clark get hurt?

Speaker 4 (07:03):
Two hundred yard Russian games? Rest of the season?

Speaker 1 (07:06):
So I knew what you mean.

Speaker 9 (07:07):
Yeah, I'm like, And what I'm trying to say is
we as this season go on, you have to be
dominant in some form of fashion. If we could look
at our defense say yeah, yeah, you may get two
hundred three hundred yards passing, but you're not going to
run the ball, that means that we can set our

(07:28):
defense at least be competitive as a as a pass unit.
And that's all. I was just a little subtle things
like that that the people that do know football understands.
I was looking at film versus Washington, US versus Washington,
and what was very disheartening to me was I saw

(07:50):
Clark out over the tackle. I saw number ninety five
out over the tackle. Several times, and people.

Speaker 8 (07:59):
Say, what's wrong with that?

Speaker 1 (08:01):
What's wrong with that is we have.

Speaker 9 (08:02):
Like eighteen defensive ends. We have eighteen defensive ends. What
is your number one run defender setting on top of
a defensive offensive tackle? It's a guard, two guards in
the center. Why is he not sitting there? That means
that the eighteen guys that are sitting over there at

(08:24):
defensive end, what are their jobs?

Speaker 1 (08:27):
Think about that?

Speaker 8 (08:28):
That's common sense.

Speaker 1 (08:31):
You know, not taking a shot at nobody else. But
I stopped.

Speaker 9 (08:36):
Watching film because it makes me think.

Speaker 8 (08:41):
It's not fantasy but real football.

Speaker 9 (08:45):
We have Sam Williams, we have Dante Fowler, we have
number ninety four, I can't remember his name right now.

Speaker 1 (08:52):
And we got done as a Rocke.

Speaker 11 (08:57):
We got seven or eight guys Clowney got that plays
defensive end. James Houston, what is number ninety five sitting
at defensive end? For answer that, Chris, when every show
come on from now is just to ask them that question.

Speaker 6 (09:16):
My only, my only kind of question back to you
on that was was there some sort of stunt that
was happening?

Speaker 1 (09:25):
Was he lining out there and they were you know, I.

Speaker 8 (09:27):
Guess who was sitting next to him? Oh, soo who
five eight oh at the defensive tackle.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
Maybe they were trying.

Speaker 7 (09:37):
Something like in a three four setup.

Speaker 8 (09:42):
It was it was a four to two setup. It
was a four to two setup.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
Out why everybody. Maybe they was.

Speaker 6 (09:46):
Trying to get another girth on the defensive line to
keep people off of their linebackers.

Speaker 1 (09:52):
Maybe that was it.

Speaker 9 (09:53):
Yeah, what what I'm trying to say is you do
what you want to picks you. You think about each
guy and girl during the week, think about what you want.

Speaker 8 (10:03):
It's all cool, But.

Speaker 9 (10:07):
Six weeks ago to a man and a woman on
these podcasts were saying, wait to Denver.

Speaker 8 (10:15):
Come, Well, guess what, y'all, Denver's here.

Speaker 9 (10:20):
I know who This team is a very high flying
act offensively and an average defense.

Speaker 8 (10:27):
If average, it ain't changed.

Speaker 9 (10:30):
We beat Washington. I hope we played fifteen to twenty percent,
but it was ten. But I think it's not gonna
be fifteen to twenty percent better on defense. To give
us a great chance to help our offense, our special
teams has to show up. We need for turping and
our field goal kicker to be excellent in our partner
to reset field position. We're gonna have to win two

(10:52):
phases of this game. I mean, we're gonna have to
win convincingly two phases of this game to beat Denver,
whether it be special team teams an offense, whether it
be offense and defense. We're gonna need two phases to
beat this team convincingly.

Speaker 4 (11:08):
This is a goo ahead.

Speaker 7 (11:10):
Can you beat them with just offense and special teams?

Speaker 8 (11:13):
Yes, I think you can.

Speaker 9 (11:14):
And I'm talking about giving us great field position and
probably breaking one off about a seventy yard to the house.
You know, because Denver is well coached, they're gonna play hard.
And I know everybody I know the last game is
what everybody think about. Hey, you know, look at the Giants.
Giants got these many points. I understand we will you

(11:36):
know on microwave society, But I'm looking at the total deal.
I'm looking at the whole. You put it in the
oven and you wait, Sel made weeks at three hundred degrees,
and let's see what happened.

Speaker 5 (11:48):
I think this game, I think this is your football
season as a Dallas Cowboy fan.

Speaker 9 (11:54):
Good thought, because this is a alley checks because we
all got high.

Speaker 5 (12:01):
We beat the Commanders. Well, guess what they didn't have
three wide receivers. You started with number four. The quarterback
got hurt in the second half. We're feeling better about
the defense. Okay, okay, let's go see what we do
against the Sean Payton offense in a place that we
haven't won in.

Speaker 4 (12:19):
Eighty seven years since Nate was playing.

Speaker 1 (12:21):
That's seventh.

Speaker 5 (12:25):
But I mean think about it. If you win this game, look, hey,
let's go make some trades. Maybe this defense isn't quite
as bad as it was at the beginning of the year.

Speaker 4 (12:35):
But if you lose it, guess what you are.

Speaker 5 (12:37):
You are a below five hundred team, and that's where
you're gonna finish the season. And that's gonna be what
it is the rest of the season. This is I
think this is the season.

Speaker 9 (12:45):
What we talked about is two weeks ago, right, we
all sat down and say, hey, man, let's see what
these next two games bring. You know, we got what
got past Washington B. However, we got passed now.

Speaker 4 (12:58):
Because it's a real team.

Speaker 5 (12:59):
Yeah, football team, y'all talk You talked me into it
this week, showed me film and researching.

Speaker 9 (13:05):
This is a real Oh, this is a team. This
is a real team. It's a very good team. Don't
don't do that to Washington. And you're giving them dark material.

Speaker 4 (13:15):
Well they need it.

Speaker 5 (13:16):
This year you might sweep them and the Giants might
be the one you're splitting with this year. You know,
we didn't see that coming, But I mean, I seriously
think this is your season because if you if you lose,
it is what it is.

Speaker 4 (13:27):
You're not making any trade.

Speaker 5 (13:28):
You're not excited, You're not, at least I hope we're
not making any trades.

Speaker 4 (13:32):
Keep the picks.

Speaker 5 (13:33):
You win this game, you're building momentum. You stacked two
in a row. You went on the road in a
place you typically can't win against a good a decent
run game, a really good defense, a quarterback that can
slinging around like this is I think this is your season.

Speaker 4 (13:51):
One way or the other.

Speaker 7 (13:52):
Four games coming up, you should be favored in Raiders.

Speaker 5 (13:56):
So yeah, and then the and then the Gauntlet, the
meat Grinder, and who knows what's gonna happen, but I think.

Speaker 7 (14:02):
It'd be six and three one going into that. Yeah,
you can get through it.

Speaker 9 (14:06):
N because you can burn up and Jesse telling what
you think. If you win this game, you can burn
up that. You can burn up the phone lines for
a week trying to find that guy that you think
can fit on your defense. You can burn up the
phone and them. I don't mean giving up both our picks.

(14:27):
I mean if you can. Chris had a great idea,
you know, throw a second in there and escalate it
depending on how way we finish our way. This team
we trade with any but that's basketball. It don't happen
football too often.

Speaker 1 (14:39):
But yeah, I just.

Speaker 9 (14:42):
What I've seen, and I told you after about four
or five, maybe four games, maybe six, this team is
an average team. As great as our offense is, this
team is an average team because when you sit at
thirty two, defensively, you too much. You gotta cover. It's
too much ground you gotta cover. It's just too much ground.

Speaker 1 (15:04):
You score, they score, you score, they score.

Speaker 9 (15:09):
And now it's gonna come down to the second quarter
a rap before the first half. Hey man, we need
to stop so we can jump off ahead ten points.
You know we seven day tied, we seven day toiled,
we three day tied. It comes upon you got to
have two or three stops in that fourth quarter where.

Speaker 1 (15:25):
We can get ten points ahead.

Speaker 8 (15:28):
Do you believe this defense can do that for you?

Speaker 2 (15:31):
Now?

Speaker 4 (15:31):
Does anybody else think this is this is the season.

Speaker 7 (15:36):
Or is it just based on you know, they are
what they are at this point.

Speaker 1 (15:40):
I believe that.

Speaker 8 (15:40):
Man.

Speaker 7 (15:41):
Yeah, you could say it's gonna be Jesse.

Speaker 1 (15:43):
No, I'm not there yet. No, what you need to see?

Speaker 8 (15:47):
Tell us what you're thinking.

Speaker 5 (15:48):
So you think you can lose this game and still
make a playoff run later?

Speaker 1 (15:52):
Break it this, Yeah, let's let's let's get Jesse's thoughts
with it.

Speaker 6 (15:57):
Hey, you know what, this might be the first time
and with the Boys history that we went a whole
first segment.

Speaker 1 (16:04):

to speak.

Speaker 6 (16:08):
Wow, and I'm here on time, like a talking the
first segment like he wasn't here.

Speaker 4 (16:14):
Yeah, thank goodness. He gave some shout outs Jones there.

Speaker 1 (16:19):
I told you, the Lord is working on me. Brother,
the Lord is working on me. You know what I'm saying.
I'm trying to get that meal. I'm trying to showing
my obedience.

Welcome back to the second segment. Hanging with the Boys
brought to you each and every show by Blockchain dot Com.
Thank you Blockchain dot com. All right, we were just
talking about uh Kurt and I think this is this
is the season in one game either.

Speaker 7 (19:14):
I think it's a very tipping point type of game.

Speaker 5 (19:17):
Yeah, tipping point, whether your stock is going up or
whether you're going down, whether you're a buyer, whether you're
possibly a seller, whether you're going to struggle with this
five hundred the rest of the season.

Speaker 4 (19:30):
And Jesse's maybe not on.

Speaker 8 (19:32):
Board with that.

Speaker 4 (19:32):
What are you thinking over there, Jess.

Speaker 6 (19:34):
Well, just simply because the league this year has shown
us the level of parody that it has across the board.
And football is a funny lady and she's loyal to
no one. So you know, there can be injuries that happen,
there can be teams that have, you know, have a
run of two or three games where they're not as dominant.

(19:57):
Because because normally at this point in time of the season,
we could definitive, definitively point to a team, whether in
the AFC or the NFC, that we go, boy, that
that is a dominant football team. That football team is
I don't think we can definitively say that about any
side of the conferences, AFC or NFC.

Speaker 1 (20:15):
Now, there are some that are on the come.

Speaker 6 (20:17):
Right that are looking like all right, hold on now,
the Chiefs trying to seem like they're getting their legs
underneath them, and then Detroit. But there's there's no team
that we look at right now in either division where
we're just like, we're willing to put our foot down
and saying, this is the bell of the ball in
the NFC, this is the bell of the ball in
the AFC. And for that, I still think even if

(20:39):
you lose this game three four and one, I mean,
because you have Arizona next week, you have to buy
then you come back against the Raiders, So I mean
you can easily find yourself sitting again six four and
one from sorry five to four in one, and then

(21:00):
who knows how the next couple of games will play out.
You may get to the end of the year and
it might be the battle at the end of the
year between the Giants to determine whether or not you
make it in or not.

Speaker 1 (21:09):
So I'm I'm not saying the.

Speaker 6 (21:10):
Door is still wide open, But if you lose this game,
I don't think the door is absolutely completely shut. I
think it may have a little crack in it, you know,
the hinge might be a little loose. But you lose
this week and then you lose one of the Arizona
or Vegas games.

Speaker 9 (21:29):
And to go more to your point, Jesse, who would
have thought at this point that the Bills would be
four and two and the Panthers would be four and three?
Are are the Bears four and two in the Ravens
one in five? This is a weird year. It is
block field goals the way guys can return these kicks.

Speaker 4 (21:49):
I mean, do you think, say they lose this week,
are the are they.

Speaker 5 (21:56):
Going to get someone? Rumors and ideas on.

Speaker 1 (22:02):
The height, Yeah, I think.

Speaker 5 (22:04):
Or do you think ownership is still like you know what,
we hung in there without anybody. If we just if
we go get what, we're one guy away. We're one
guy away if it's a close game.

Speaker 1 (22:13):
I am.

Speaker 6 (22:14):
I stand strongly on the fact that I believe that
the people who are in charge of pulling the trigger
on trades are seriously, seriously, seriously banking on Agent zero,
the marinoversh. I think they're banking on him a lot,
and I think that's why they may go. I think

(22:35):
the Cowboys will make a trade in the trade deadline.
I don't think the trade is going to be what
everybody wants it to be. A Max Crosby, sorry, one
of those players, right, one of those elite level type players.

Speaker 1 (22:48):
I don't believe that.

Speaker 6 (22:49):
I'm not saying that they won't go get another player
that's not ELITD but better than what.

Speaker 1 (22:55):
You currently have. So a piece, a piece that's currently
better than.

Speaker 7 (22:59):
What you have A first round pick.

Speaker 1 (23:02):
No, No, let me I should say that right.

Speaker 6 (23:05):
I don't think the Cowboys will make a first round
pick worthy type trade by the trade that line. Do
I think a four, five or six. I think you
may see that. I think you may see a position
linebacker may be another dB because I also believe the
one they have currently here, that we're talking about being
in concussion for the second straight week, that's got real

(23:27):
weird to me, and it's for me. And this is
a record expect you by Jesse Holly. I think that's
more of an indication, especially when you hear what Shotty
said that in his press conference.

Speaker 1 (23:36):
That's a lot more of what he said that he
just said.

Speaker 6 (23:39):
He was asked about him moving to IR being in his
second straight week and and basically Shotty said that all.

Speaker 1 (23:46):
Things are open.

Speaker 6 (23:48):
We're not we're not there yet, but all things are open,
and then he ended with We're gonna do what's best
for the team. And in my opinion, having player on
field not best for team tells me all I need
to know. That's just me, that's just me. That's not
the opinions of Jesse Holly. Does not reflect the show
of Hanging with the Boys. I'll just say that's opinion.

Speaker 8 (24:09):
Of Jesse Holly truthfulness. That does not reflect the rest
of the podcast.

Speaker 1 (24:15):
It reflects we are.

Speaker 4 (24:17):
All you can speak for me.

Speaker 1 (24:19):
You can speak for me too, how about you? So yeah,
but yeah, all right, that's why I think that I
think that you started.

Speaker 6 (24:31):
I think I think the move will be made. I
think a move will be made, but I think that
they are.

Speaker 5 (24:35):
You think it's more in the Dante Fowler type universe
than yeah, Michael Parsons.

Speaker 8 (24:41):
Yeah, ho a. You're talking about file up three years ago,
two years.

Speaker 5 (24:46):
The one kind of in between, one between three years
ago and I think somewhere in between.

Speaker 7 (24:51):
I just wundered, though, I mean, you've got this window now,
Dak is at the top of his game, You've got
this offense. This is your window. And are you going
to be better off taking a sure thing going after
that top elite guy and use your first round picks
or you're going to be better off using a late
round first pick draft pick and hope he develops another.

Speaker 5 (25:11):
Two years give me the guy, now, that's what I'm thinking,
especially if he's.

Speaker 4 (25:14):
Got a couple of years left on his contract.

Speaker 16 (25:16):
But the thing is, it's not just one way, because
if it was one way, it would be like, yeah,
I'll send you this over and you send me that over.
But I think they understand the value of it, and
they're not letting it go, right because it's only for
those guys like.

Speaker 4 (25:31):
That in the whole world.

Speaker 6 (25:33):
In the whole world, it's only for those guys, right,
like you're talking about in that elite category and that.

Speaker 1 (25:42):
Organization, and you got rid of one of them has experience.

Speaker 6 (25:45):
With letting one go and understanding that you don't get
in return what you let go. They're still trying to
kind of fill in that void of what they let
go and the guy like Matt a couple of years ago.

Speaker 5 (25:56):
So the wild part about the whole thing is if
you just ye back and look at it from a
from a holistic standpoint, you're doing all this to get back.

Speaker 1 (26:07):
To to where you start. We're already there.

Speaker 6 (26:10):
Yeah, So that just tells me, like stubbornness was in
the way or there were other.

Speaker 5 (26:15):
Issues going on that the public didn't know about that
it was worth distancing from that situation, and now it's like, okay,
we actually need that.

Speaker 6 (26:25):
There are certain things that you need in this league
to be successful. You need a quarterback. The ones that
have one of the top fifteen, top ten to twelve
of the league are the ones that are consistently every
year in the contention of.

Speaker 1 (26:36):
At least making the playoffs.

Speaker 6 (26:39):
You're going to need a dominant pass rusher, like that
is what you want to have, right to. Those who
have those type of players are always there's a reason
why those are the second highest paid players on the
on the team. Then next up is you need those
type of wide receivers on the outside. You know how
you feel about this league as a passing league.

Speaker 5 (26:56):
You know what's great about this team, and it's also
the maddening part.

Speaker 4 (27:00):
If you're a fan long enough, they will teach you
what you need to be successful a quarterback.

Speaker 5 (27:09):
Right the drought between Troy and then falling into Tony
Romo right wide receiver by committee, what you just said
did not work. No pass rush, we're living that right now.
No help up the middle, on the defensive side. We've
been living with that for fifteen years, right, and it's

(27:31):
putting it all together. You finally got a quarterback, you
got a run game, you got wide receiver, you got
all that figured out. We didn't have DB's for a while.
Then we had dron Bland and Trayvon and then you
were missing other pieces and it's like they can just
never get it all at the very few teams can
because of the salary cap, right, But like this team
will teach you.

Speaker 6 (27:49):
Like that goes back to Nick's point, is that when
you to overcome what you just said that I need
those other guys to be plus players. I need the
likes of a Michael Parsons because he has to he
has to cover the sins of where we don't have
and and and you know, to have all of that

(28:13):
working at the same time.

Speaker 1 (28:15):
It's a rare thing. It's a rare thing.

Speaker 6 (28:18):
Uh, Philadelphia figured out how to do it, The Rams
figured out how to do it, Kansas City's figured out
how to do it. Now that part, the figuring out part,
that's the part where a lot of the fan base
is upset that because that is that's a front office thing.
That's the willingness to do the right things at the
right times to make sure those things come into play.

(28:40):
Because we can, we can take this thing all the
way back to where you could have got back at
the beginning for twenty seven million dollars a year. That
first go around right and you and you kind of
you gambled and you didn't win. You didn't you didn't
win to gamble, and then it came around again and
you gambled again, and it and it's stung you. So
now there's two instances when you could have got a

(29:01):
player that you planned on keeping for a much cheaper
rate had you done it in the time it was
supposed to be done, meaning assets could be spent elsewhere.

Speaker 1 (29:09):
Because we're always talking about the pie, assets could have
been spent elsewhere. Same thing. When you know with with
CDs like you could have done that.

Speaker 6 (29:17):
There's a number of contract that could have been done
at an earlier time that's not a part of the
way that they work that would have helped you be
able to do other things that could have had all
those missing pieces in place to succeed. And now that
you've done it, you now have a sixty million dollar quarterback,
a thirty million dollar wide receiver when that number could

(29:38):
have looked differently had you done it earlier. And there's
a more piece of the more pieces of the pie
that could be divvied up to go get those other
B level players and keep that plus player to make
all things rise and come together. Because you know, it's
great to have this high powered, amazing offense, but when

(29:59):
you're a deep this is the opposite end of that.
You find yourself right where we're at right now, three
three and one, coming into a game where you're like, well,
what's team showing up this week? And you live You
live in that world. Too many times you lose because
the factors are I'm relying on one side of the
ball to do so much because the other side isn't
being able to do so much. You end up losing

(30:21):
the percentage of those games when you face teams who
are more closely connected in balance on both sides of.

Speaker 4 (30:27):
The ball, equal two or greater than talent.

Speaker 9 (30:30):
Right, Yeah, I'm gonna tell you what. For me, I
have not felt this way but this one. Yeah, I'm I'm.

Speaker 8 (30:38):
Ready to see this game.

Speaker 9 (30:39):
I'm excited because you know where I was just looking like, okay,
all right.

Speaker 4 (30:45):
Will this be like a barometer for you? This is
where we're at?

Speaker 7 (30:47):
Yes?

Speaker 8 (30:48):
Because I have great respect for Sean Payton.

Speaker 9 (30:51):
I have uh a little respect for coach Shatty and
what he's trying to accomplish.

Speaker 1 (30:57):
Uh, I do, man.

Speaker 8 (30:58):
I'm why you laughing, man? Because I'm being honest.

Speaker 1 (31:01):
I love it. I love I love when you're honest.
I love it.

Speaker 6 (31:05):
I love when you I love when you say you
speak your truth. It's always funny to me.

Speaker 8 (31:11):
Yeah, why is it funny?

Speaker 5 (31:12):
Man?

Speaker 1 (31:12):
I mean they never come at you. They always come
at me.

Speaker 9 (31:15):
Because I always put out I'm on my fourth and loan,
So that's what they remember.

Speaker 1 (31:22):
I'm gonna call it Nate Man, mister Foreman.

Speaker 5 (31:24):
And you know what, if you if you haven't been
on a show with Nate for five plus years, you
don't even recognize that he's taking that he's being honest
because he does it so subtly and he just slides.
And if it wasn't for you laughing every time he
does it, it would probably slide right. Nobody would even

(31:46):
know anything. But it's great, man. But now what's your
parameters before we is this time for us to leave?
No to break, Okay, break, Okay. I asked you what
are y'all believes? How do y'all feel about this game?

All right, Nate, you had a question for us for
it was about I just real quick, man, because I
want to get into these pics and what Jesse's thoughts
is on if we can win this game for us?
What got to happen with his stat But just quickly, man,
what how do y'all feel? Y'all know, I'm excited about it,
you know, but how do y'all feel about it?

Speaker 5 (34:58):
I couldn't wait to get on the show today because
I'm exactly like you, like I'm to me as a fan,
It's like this is the best game of the ease. Oh,
because it's what's seven games in eight games? This eighth game,
you should b are what you are, but we still
kind of don't know. If you lose, I'm good.

Speaker 4 (35:22):
This is what we are.

Speaker 5 (35:23):
Like I said, week two, we're gonna be at five
hundred all year.

Speaker 4 (35:26):
We're gonna we're gonna.

Speaker 5 (35:29):
Squeak out every game, win or lose. We're gonna play
up and down our opponents. But if you do win,
I think it's like the possibilities are endless. You win
two in a row, ownership is probably gonna look at
this team different. They might start going to really try
to go get some guys. Then you're like, like Nate said,

(35:49):
you're not stopping anybody. I mean, you're not stopping this offense, right,
if you could get some stops on defense, go get
a couple of guys.

Speaker 4 (35:58):
I feel like, okay, I'm I'm I'm just excited to
see now. To me, it's like.

Speaker 1 (36:04):
This is okay, what are we get off the pot? Yes?

Speaker 4 (36:08):
Yes, yes, and we find out this weekend. So that's
where I'm at.

Speaker 1 (36:12):
Kurt.

Speaker 7 (36:13):
Yeah, I mean I'm excited about it.

Speaker 4 (36:15):
We can tell Yeah.

Speaker 7 (36:26):
Yeah, I'm a little more apprehensive, I guess than you are.
But yeah, it's it's gonna be a fun game. This is,
like you said, the best team they've played. I think
this year, even better than green Bay at that where
green Bay was at that point. So yeah, I'm excited,
but I'm also a little worried.

Speaker 5 (36:43):
I guess, so you're not picking them at the end
of the show, Stay tuned.

Speaker 6 (36:49):
I love the fact that this offense gets the goal
up against this defense. Yes, sir, the Cowboys offense gets
the goal against the Broncos defense.

Speaker 1 (36:57):
I'm excited to see that matchup.

Speaker 6 (36:59):
I've always been a fan of any sport when good
versus good like that part has always excited me.

Speaker 1 (37:05):
So to get a.

Speaker 6 (37:06):
Chance to see, because you do want to get a
chance to see where you're stacked up against. And and
now you know, Dak and others will get into the
media and they'll say the politically correct things. You know,
we play who we play next opponent, YadA, YadA, YadA.
But there is if there and I believe that DAK
and CD and those guys are competitors. So when they look,
when City looks across and you're telling me, oh, the

(37:27):
rain defensive player of the year, Patrick's artan cool. Let
let me let me show you that I'm I'm I'm
him right, I know, I know they, I know those
guys think that Dak Okay, this is number one defense
in the league right now, cool, let me show you
why I should be the m v P like that is.
That's just the competitive juices that you have to have.
The great ones have that you don't. You don't get

(37:49):
this far in your life and don't have that want
to to go up and to and to test your
game against what someone else may consider the best that
opposes your game.

Speaker 1 (37:59):
So that part excites me because I just.

Speaker 6 (38:01):
Love to see good versus good, and you're gonna get
that with the Cowboys offense against the Broncos defense. Now,
the opposite way, who it's whoever can be above mid.
If our defense is above the mid line level versus
their mid offense, then we win. If their offense gets

(38:23):
above the mid level line and we don't defensively, they're
probably going to probably going to win because the other
one is gonna be a good matchup. So I just
I'm excited to see the matchup of the competition. I
want to see CD or George against Sertan and Dak
against Vance Joseph in that front and seeing how he
can maneuver do that thing. And you know, Sean Payton

(38:45):
verse shoddy or you know, shoddy, your first time head
coach going up against one of the old dogs of
the league, right, and how people respect Sean Payton And
I want to see that. I like when because these
games bring the best out of everybody. Every has to
be on point, and you know what I mean, Like,
it ain't like you can go, oh, we're playing the Jets.
They ain't win the game and there you know, you

(39:05):
know what I'm going to better eight o'clock.

Speaker 1 (39:07):
You're not really worried about.

Speaker 6 (39:08):
Sleeping, the study and all that kind of stuff, But
this one you gotta make sure you got to check
and double check and then check again to make sure.

Speaker 1 (39:14):
All right, were good? Here are we good?

Speaker 6 (39:17):
Everybody understand we gotta because if you don't that that
one mess up can be the determining factor in this game,
or that misassignment or that misplay, that misread or whatever
it may be in that particular game can be the
determining factor of the game. So yeah, I look forward.
This is one of those games where I'm like, I
can't wait to get the Sunday. I can't wait to
get to my pregame show. I can't wait to the

(39:37):
kickoff because it's gonna be It's gonna be some exciting
thing to happen.

Speaker 1 (39:40):
In this game.

Speaker 8 (39:41):
Understand this.

Speaker 9 (39:44):
We better tackle. That's number one thing for this defense.
If we don't tackle, well, it's over.

Speaker 5 (39:55):
All right.

Speaker 4 (39:56):
You hear that, Cowboys. Everyone's excited for this game. Please
make it.

Speaker 5 (40:02):
Interesting, blown out, don't make us turn this off at halftime.

Speaker 4 (40:08):
Make us a fun game for the fans and Jesse.

Speaker 5 (40:11):
What you're saying is, if these teams could merge, Oh
my god, got a super Bowl team.

Speaker 4 (40:18):
Put defense on this offense, offense on that defense.

Speaker 1 (40:21):
And meet me at San Francisco. Yeah, for real, meet
me at Yeah, meet me at San Francisco.

Speaker 5 (40:29):
What Dack said before we get to our picture real quick,
Dak said, it's gonna be a grimy, dirty game.

Speaker 4 (40:35):
What does he mean by that? He's watched the tape
on the defense.

Speaker 1 (40:39):
I'm assuming they're good.

Speaker 6 (40:40):
He knows, he knows that they're gonna have to earn
every single thing. Their defense is good on all three levels.
He understands. I don't know if it was this show
or that show. But I said that, I said that
this is going to be one of those games where
it's gonna be ugly. It's gonna be a uh, it's
gonna be a heavyweight fight.

Speaker 4 (40:55):
Can you win one of those games with this team
with the run game?

Speaker 1 (40:59):
Offensively? You can? Can I do offensively? You can? You
can win any game on your schedule with the way
that this offense.

Speaker 4 (41:08):
Is playing, running or passing.

Speaker 8 (41:10):
Right.

Speaker 1 (41:11):
Yeah, I don't think we're gonna have to. I think
I don't think.

Speaker 6 (41:13):
I don't want to pass the ball forty five times
against this team. The numbers, the numbers are just staggering.
The numbers are just staggering, if you know. But the
pass rush and the past rushers and the past win
rates and the numbers are just far too great in
their favorite If we're gonna drop back and pass the
ball forty five fifty times, this this has to be.

Speaker 1 (41:34):
And that's the ugly part of it, is that.

Speaker 6 (41:35):
Javante is gonna have to get some of those dirty
yards to keep the respectful and to keep that safety
crept up, keep ufunga closer to the box. Because if
that's the case, I like my chances outside either one
of those one on one routes with a single high safety.
But if they're able to do it with their front,
their front four five six, seven guys, six guys, then
it's gonna keep two high sainties back there, and it's

(41:56):
gonna be tough to get tough to get yards.

Speaker 4 (41:58):
All right, Jesse, what's your stabbed to watch this week?

Speaker 1 (42:00):
My stat to watch this week? Zero zero.

Speaker 6 (42:05):
Over the last four games, Dak Prescott has thrown thirteen touchdowns,
one thousand yards, seventy percent completion percentage, zero turnovers, zero turnovers.
He is not how they turnover in the last four games.
And I hope this isn't a hanging with the boys hurt.

Speaker 4 (42:23):
Don't say that.

Speaker 1 (42:25):
Zero.

Speaker 6 (42:26):
Dak Prescott, if they are going to win this football game,
needs to have zero turnovers for five street weeks. It
is the only way he turns the ball over. And
and and that's that one possession that you lost and
they gained, and that can that you need. Sure not
always anytime you want to turnover about it always helps

(42:48):
you out a lot. You get more possessions, you get
this offense, more possessions.

Speaker 7 (42:51):
Can win without a turnover.

Speaker 1 (42:53):
That takeaway, it's gonna be that tough, tough. That's gonna
be tough.

Speaker 4 (42:57):
So zero turnovers to have a chance to win this game.

Speaker 1 (43:00):
Dak Prescott, Dak Dak Prescott.

Speaker 7 (43:03):
He can't.

Speaker 6 (43:04):
He can't turn the ball over. So whether that be
an interceptional or stripsack fumble, he has to protect the ball.

Speaker 4 (43:10):
Nate, you've spouted off about eight different guys that I.

Speaker 9 (43:13):
Wrote it on your paper yesterday. Two guys, remember, I'm
gonna show up to.

Speaker 8 (43:16):
You, Yes, show me again right here.

Speaker 4 (43:19):
You wrote him again today on a separate piece of pack.
Number ninety three DJ Jones and number ninety six.

Speaker 8 (43:26):
I can't pronounce that neither. I'm not even gonna tell.

Speaker 9 (43:28):
And it's all about the run game. These two guys,
when not double team, can dominate a center. They can
handle a center. I'm telling you they can handle a center.
And we do not need for Hoffman to be handled
this week because we have to run the ball. If

(43:49):
we don't, you turn and loose. You turning loose some
bad things.

Speaker 4 (43:54):
And watch for the fistfights this week.

Speaker 6 (43:55):
Speaking of ninety three, to your point, even coach Shotte
Harman talked about him telling you this presser.

Speaker 4 (44:01):
He was like, this is a guy I'm telling you
that that is that the little guy.

Speaker 1 (44:04):
Yeah, who are you two?

Speaker 4 (44:07):
You guys to watch?

Speaker 8 (44:08):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (44:09):
Oh for me on the on the Broncos, on the Cowboys,
on the Broncos.

Speaker 6 (44:13):
For me, it's gonna be Hufunga the safety just number
nine man, he is, he is, He's one of those
guys I'm talking about the communication on the back end.
Definitely got to make sure that you confuse him as
best as you possibly can. And I want him in
the box. If he gets in the box, that means
we have a chance over the top to make a play.

(44:33):
And then this is his low hanging fruit. I mean,
you gotta block Nick Benito. You gotta figure out a
way chip double triple.

Speaker 8 (44:43):
Right now.

Speaker 6 (44:43):
You gotta block Nick Benito. You cannot let this guy
get going. And that that starts early in the in
the in the conversation of not getting yourself in those
necessary passing downs third and long.

Speaker 1 (44:54):
But you gotta find a way to block them.

Speaker 7 (44:56):
Would you bring baby back this game?

Speaker 14 (44:58):
No?

Speaker 9 (44:58):
No, no, because I don't need you trying to get well.
This is not a get well get in.

Speaker 1 (45:06):
You need to be well.

Speaker 8 (45:07):
You need to be well.

Speaker 9 (45:07):
Well wait till next week. Yeah, he's well, put him
in there, put him in the fire. But no, no, no, no, no,
I Kurt the moment we've all been waiting for. Yeah,
will you pick the Cowboys to win? What is your
score this week?

Speaker 7 (45:22):
If this was a home game, I would feel no,
Kurt analysis, they're three to oh and one when they
score thirty seven or more points, they're oh and three
when they don't score thirty seven.

Speaker 4 (45:33):
I just hell, I hope you score thirty seven.

Speaker 7 (45:38):
But I think in Denver against this defense, that's going
to be a tall test. So I'm unfortunately I hope
they win, cheering for him to win, but I don't
think they're going to have it this week in Denver.
So I'm taking I'm saying they're gonna lose, like thirty
twenty seven.

Speaker 4 (45:55):
Twenty seven.

Speaker 1 (45:56):
That's Kurt Daniels, Kurt, Nate Newton.

Speaker 9 (46:03):
What do you think, man, if we can win this
with a seventy one yard field goal, boy, that's a show.

Speaker 5 (46:08):
Seventy one yard field goals? Yeah, you know what, that
is a possibility.

Speaker 1 (46:12):
Struggling the whole game.

Speaker 4 (46:14):
Yes, seventy one yard that would be that would be
all we.

Speaker 1 (46:16):
Need to go is forty yards.

Speaker 5 (46:18):
That would be kicking from behind the logo. You would
kick over the logo. I want to see that, Chris,
what's your score? Well, I'm gonna take you back to
nineteen ninety two, okay, which is the Dallas beat them
in Denver last time, last time?

Speaker 4 (46:35):
Thirty one, twenty seven, thirty one, twenty seven. I'm going
to go, but it could be closer to the game.

Speaker 1 (46:42):
And what year was that? Thirteen?

Speaker 4 (46:44):
Yeah, thirteen, fifty one forty eight eight.

Speaker 5 (46:47):
Yeah, I'm with you know what, I'm going to do
the same thing, but I'm gonna flip it. Broncos thirty one,
Cowboys twenty seven. I don't think they get to thirty points,
and they're not going to win unless they get thirty.

Speaker 1 (46:59):
Due did like the fan last week?

Speaker 17 (47:02):
You just pool.

Speaker 1 (47:05):
Correct, you just pull with the fan. Man. We need
to do this and we need to do that. But
w what we got the cow Yeah, but you did?

Speaker 4 (47:14):
I know what we need to do.

Speaker 14 (47:15):
Go do it?

Speaker 4 (47:16):
Prove me wrong what you got, Jess.

Speaker 1 (47:18):
I'm on the train with you and Kurt Man.

Speaker 6 (47:20):
I think this defense at home will be a little
bit too much, and I hope that I'm wrong because
that'll be two in a row for the Cowboys, and
that will be called a win streak that the Cowboys
would need.

Speaker 1 (47:32):
So I have it close as well. I have it
thirty one thirty broncos.

Speaker 5 (47:39):
Yeah, because they got to get to thirty one to win, right,
thirty ain't getting it this job.

Speaker 8 (47:43):
Thirty one thirty one one.

Speaker 4 (47:45):
Man, we all got it right there, thirty thirty one
thirty one. Come on, cowboys, prove us wrong. What's Josh got? Chris?
He in the back with you. Yeah, he's back here,
I think here.

Speaker 8 (47:55):
What was your score?

Speaker 4 (47:59):
Twenty seven? Twenty three?

Speaker 5 (48:01):
He knows that it's not gonna work. Cowboys gotta score
thirty one to win. Tell him thanks for playing.

Speaker 4 (48:06):
All right, fellas, good stuff, prove us wrong, prove us wrong.
We want to come in here on the victory money.

Speaker 1 (48:12):
Why you do Josh?

Speaker 4 (48:14):
Moving to war back up between you two.

Speaker 5 (48:16):
Maybe good stuff fellas great, Kurt, we blew your run
a show up. I don't think we hit one point.
Sorry about that. We didn't get phone calls, but good stuff. Chris,
thanks for keeping us on the air. Josh, thanks for
keeping them company. Victory Monday coming up.
