A retrospective look at Twin Peaks: The Return
Here it is, one week early!
Whether you're tuning in from Twin Peaks, Washington or Odessa, Texas, threw some guns in a fryer and kick back with my thoughts to the conclusion of this remarkable show. I'll discuss the tragedy, the frustration as a fan, the admiration as a television viewer, the mythology of Judy, and begin to touch upon what Cooper was really up to as he made traveled through time and space.
But just because...
We're running out of sand, everyone. So let's celebrate the time we have left!
From Ed and Norma to a giant tea kettle, this episode had it all, and set us up for the final three episodes of the show. So pop on some Otis Redding, and let's get to it!
Let's sit and tall great tall tales.
It's just you . . . and I this week at Hanging With Agent Cooper! Welcome back to kindergarten where we stop off on the farm for some fun activities and welcome back Big Ed to our hearts . . . only to have them broken and crumbled into a cold bowl of soup.

Thanks, everyone! I'll see you at the Curtain call.
Welcome back, everyone! At long last, we get the return of Audrey Horne. I speak at length about the implications of her appearance and how it fits in with the dream reality of the rest of the show. Similiarly, I speak about Sarah's haunting re-appearance and her predatory evolution as it pertains to Judy.

Welcome back, everyone! This week, we examine Hawk's map, Bobby's parenting style (if it seems familiar, that's because we've seen it before), Red as a doppelganger, what the woman in the car is screaming about, and the danger in Buckhorn, South Dakota! Grab yourself a box of cherry pie, jump in a limo and crank up Hanging With Agent Cooper!
As always, feel free to write in at hangingwithagentcooper@yahoo.com
Welcome back, everyone! In this week's episode, I break down the events of Episode 10 as well as unpack the lyrics to Rebekah Del Rio's "No Stars." Thanks for tuning in, and if you have any thoughts on all things Lynch, make sure to write in at hanginwithagentcooper@yahoo.com
Welcome back, everyone! I hope you enjoyed your week off. This episode was a necessary palatte cleanser for us all, and allowed us to ponder smaller questions like which color chair should the Brennans purchase? In this week's episode, I discuss the first mention of Jack Rabbit's Palace, the breakdown of Au Revoire Simone's "A Violent and Flammable World," and share incredible e-mails and iTunes reviews from li...
Oh boy. This one's a doozy. When this episode dropped, Showtime knew we needed a week off to process what we just saw. Just as Lynch did with the introduction to the Man From Another Place and the Black Lodge in the original series, he completely upended what we thought was possible in television with Episode 8 of Twin Peaks the Return.

Welcome back, everyone! In this episode, I examine the possibility of the spirit of Josie hanging in the walls of the Great Northern Hotel, the ungodly creepiness of the Woodsman in the morgue, the reunion between Kyle MacLachlin and Laura Dern, and much much more. I'm very, yrev excited about this one, so grab your spike, and see if you can find Billy. I'll see you on the sunny side of the stream.
Welcome back to Hanging With Agent Cooper! I'm very excited to be back talking about Part 6, which includes the spiritual kindness of Carl Rodd, the rampage of Ike "the Spike," Janey-E shaking down the loan sharks, and of course, the at-long last reveal of Diane herself, played the Laura Dern. To conclude the episode, I unpack the lyrics and beauty of the song "Tarifa" by Sharon Van Etten, which, of all the son...
Welcome back, everyone! in this week's episode, I examine episode 5 of Twin Peaks: The Return, discuss the unexpected consistency between McLoughlin's performance of the doppelganger back in season 2 to now, the relationship between BOB and Mr. C, the return of Mike, the introduction to everyone at Lucky 7, the introduction to the wonderful Mitchum Brothers, and of course, the proper introduction to Dr. Jacoby's alias, ...
Welcome back to Hanging With Agent Cooper: A Twin Peaks Podcast! In this week's episode, I break down chapters 3 & 4 of Twin Peaks: The Return, examine how these episodes fit into the larger story, celebrate Denise Bryson's grand return, the magic of Wally Brando, the reveal of Bobby Briggs, the emergence of Dougie Jones, the wild odyssey of Dale Cooper, the gooey giddiness of garmonbozia, and muse on the possible corru...
Welcome to Hanging With Agent Cooper: A Twin Peaks Podcast. In this episode, I share my experience with being an OG Twin Peaks fan, how it shaped who I am and my storytelling sensibilities before diving into a review of The Return episodes 1 & 2. From there, I analyze the themes that will run throughout all 18 episodes before concluding with an examination of the lyrics to "Shadow" by the Chromatics and how the song sp...
