Have you asked your dad, "What was becoming a dad REALLY like?"

This is the second of three episodes where we explore what we actually experienced during the first few days, weeks and months with our kids.

Dads have a complicated relationship with their own stories of becoming parents, because for most of the first part we are background and support actors who are focused on the needs of their partner and child.

This is a good thing, but it does mean that when it is time for a dad to work through their own story it can be hard to truly engage with their experiences.

This episode we focus in on Terence and Liam. You'll hear how he dealt with the additional complexities of becoming a dad through adoption, and what is some of his favourite things about his oldest son.
