Today on the show, I am talking to Courtney Babilya, who is a fitness nurse and mom of two on a mission to help women find their way out of diet culture, and back into their power, through sustainable fitness and cyclical living.

We talk about her difficult rock bottom, complicated further by a misdiagnosis of bipolar syndrome and some challenging reactions to the medications she was prescribed. Constantly fighting her own body with overtraining and an eating disorder, something had to change. Her success story is as inspiring as it is educational.

Of course we touch on her experience with different birth control measures, from a “lost” arm implant to an immediate decision to ditch her NuvaRing.

Today’s most important and most actionable advice, though, comes in the form of Courtney’s 2022-proof fitness routines, and how we can and should be considering our cycle when planning out our workouts. There’s no shame in this game; being active, healthy, and fit does not mean being in the gym everyday.

NEW! Starting October 10th – Courtney and I are launching a special bundle, combining LUNA with the Keeping Balance Method for a single low price. My listeners are the first to know, and you can sign up and join the waitlist right now.

We Chat About:

  • Courney’s background in gymnastics
  • Living with a bipolar (mis)diagnosis
  • Recovering from rock bottom
  • Complications with the NuvaRing
  • Workout plans and diet habits
  • How motherhood changes things
  • Schedule workouts based on your cycle
