This is a great conversation with Amber Shaw, who's a business coach that's created a curriculum and a coaching program that helps
New health coaches launch their business in six months, which I think is awesome.
Six months is a really great length of time to kind of get anything major done in your life.
And if you're listening to this, then you're a health coach or an aspiring one, and you probably want to get out there and help people.

(00:24):
Amber and I talk about this.
It's objectively daunting.
But there's a series of steps that you simply must take.
And I don't say that to make it sound easy.
Why would you know how to do that?
So anyway, Amber's put together this really cool six-month curriculum that gets you from zero to your first paying clients in six months.
It's called the Health Coach Client Blueprint.

(00:45):
And you can learn more about it at primalhealthcoach.
com forward slash HCCB.
But for now, let's enjoy this conversation with Amber Shaw.
Hi, I'm Erin Power.

Our mission is to help you grow your career, elevate your income, change the lives of the clients who need your help.

It's time for health coaches to make an impact.

(01:27):
It's time for Health Coach Radio.
All right.
Hey, Amber.
Great to see you.
Yes, girl.
Good to see you.
So I'm really excited to chat with you.
I generally am excited to chat with.
Business coaches because you know, as a health coach educator, health coaches come out, you know, guns blazing, ready to help people, but they just

(01:49):
Struggle to launch themselves.
There's, you know, you know, this because this is what you do.
Like the struggles of putting myself out there, and I don't know what I'm going to do, and I don't know my niche.
So you are a health coach yourself and a business coach working with health coaches.
Give us just a little bit of your backstory so we can be brought up to speed here.
Yeah, you know, I love this conversation because exactly what you just said, you know, it's like, I think it's something that a lot of like a lot of people don't talk about.

(02:14):
What I mean by that is like, okay, so you have this idea.
That you want to become a health coach, right?
And oftentimes it's either out of like your own transformation or experience, or maybe you've seen a loved one go through something, or you've just got a real passion.
But ultimately, you make this decision, this brave and courageous decision that you want to help people, right?
And so you go through, you go through all, you know, the course, you eat the courses, you get the certification, you do the things, and then it's like

(02:39):
Well, like now, what, right?
Because what nobody really talks about, especially if you are wanting to use kind of the online space.
To create visibility for yourself.
And I think in this day and age, a lot of people, one of the attraction things for wanting to become a coach is that you have the ability to work from wherever.
Of course, there's brick and mortar.

(03:00):
Type of situations where you're working in person.
But I think a lot of people get into health coaching, which also like wanting to be able to kind of work from wherever and kind of run their business from wherever.
And I think that like this whole idea of launching and becoming visible and like everything else that has to come after actually getting the certification, like

(03:21):
Getting clients, sales, social media growth, maybe just visibility in person, like what that looks like.
Like, nobody really talks about that.
That actually is like the hardest part of becoming a coach.
And so, and so we oftentimes, this is where people get stuck and they feel like they're spinning their wheel.
So, anyways, I just say all that to say, like, I am so excited to have this conversation, especially

(03:43):
So excited to talk about some really exciting things that we've got coming up at Primal to really support this new coach who's looking to launch.
So, yes, I wanted to share that, but let me give you a little bit of background on myself.
So, as you mentioned, I am a board-certified health and wellness coach.
I started my first coaching business.
In the wellness space, I was helping women over 40 in the sustainable fat loss space.

(04:06):
I did that.
I ran that company.
I left corporate America.
I was like many of the listeners listening to this, maybe started their coaching job as a side hustle.
I left corporate America after my side hustle really grew to be a business that was showing me.
Promise and profitability, right?
And really, that happened for me within the first year.

(04:28):
I grew a six-figure business within the first year of launching my coaching business.
Now, I don't share that.
To say that that's what happens to everybody, I share that though just to show what's possible.
Like when you have a plan, when you have a strategy, when you have a proven method, when you are learning from somebody who knows how to do it.
Then that is what's possible.
And so I ran that business for a good, I guess, from about 2019 to the beginning of 2024.

(04:54):
And then I did a massive pivot and I really started all over again.
I decided to lean into business coaching.
I do business coaching in a couple different arenas, coaching health coaches, and then also in my personal company, coaching divorced women.
And so now I am teaching new coaches.
How to launch their business, which, as we said, can be the hardest part.

(05:17):
So that's really what led me here.
Amazing.
Well, I do appreciate you and anyone who does this work helping new coaches to launch because I dabbled in it.
I tried to motivate coaches to get started.
I don't have what it takes.
I don't have the business coaching.
brain and you do.
Actually, one thing I wanted to just pick your brain about is because you mentioned, you know, you you built your weight loss program in a year, within a within the first year, and you you were careful to say this isn't the norm, but this is what happened to me.

(05:48):
But I mean, like, would you put a time frame or if you were going to guide a coach to exhibit some patience and persistence, what sort of time frame do you think
A person should reasonably expect to see some growth.
Now, I am going to speak specifically about using social media as the primary sales mechanism for getting leads because that is my experience.

(06:12):
Now,
You know, that's you obviously can be building out your coaching business.
You know, if you are doing like a brick and mortar, working with the doctor's office or whatever that looks like, it's a little bit of a different model.
But speaking specifically for the coach.
who is wanting to use social media and the on and create an online business in a sense.
You know, I think that from what I see in my with my students and what I can what I think is kind of like a realist

(06:38):
Stick time frame.
Now, let me preface this before I go into that.
I'm going to be honest, though, and I don't know how else to say this, but
I have yet to see a coach be successful in the online space without having a mentor or without taking a course.
Have you?
I mean, have you seen anybody seriously?

(06:59):
Like, I mean, I have never.
And I know Jill talks about our business mentor talks about that all the time.
Like, I have never seen anybody do it and do it well and make money without guidance.
Right.
I would say definitely not now.
You know, if you got into Instagram 10 years ago, sure.
But now, I mean, why would anybody?
This is the question.
This is the thing.

I think this is what you're getting at (07:19):
why would you know how to do this?
Like, well, that's exactly right.
And see, that's what a lot of people, especially again, if we are just talking about specifically like the online space, you know, what people don't talk about is like, okay, like I was talking about just a few minutes ago, like getting your coach certification is awesome, right?
That's great.
However, but what people don't talk about is if you want to use the online space or grow your business, what you really then have to become is a digital marketer.

(07:44):
Like, what you really have to understand is content creation and digital marketing.
And those are not skills that you just inherently know.
I mean, that's a whole other skill set.
That you have to learn, and the online space is very nuanced.
So, not only are you finding your way of like trying to be like being a new coach,

(08:04):
Now, again, you have to become like a master content creator.
You have to become a master salesperson.
You have to become a master marketer.
Now, if you're a brand new coach, I'm not trying to scare you.
Okay.
Like, seriously, I want to just validate you if you're struggling.
Because this is hard.
And this is why I said, and this, you know, when I said, like, we've yet to see somebody do it and just do it well on their own, because when you're trying to hodgepodge all these different

(08:27):
Strategies, and you're trying to kind of DIY your marketing plan and your marketing strategy, and all of that, like it just doesn't work because there's just so much to know.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So, well, I want to go back though and answer your original question, which was, okay, so then how long?
Like, what can coaches, what can coaches expect?

(08:47):
And I'm going to speak from the sense of having a plan and like I'm working with somebody, either working with somebody directly or taking a course or whatever that looks like, but getting support.
and teaching you how to increase your visibility and how to get clients and all of that.
I would say that
You know, I know for me with my clients, and especially like what, you know, what and what I teach in this primal course, is that I will say that, like, I, once clients have, once new coaches have,

(09:18):
Really established who it is that they're working with, right?
Who is it that they want to work with?
What their niche is, meaning what exactly is the problem that they solve.
And then they have a very clear process.
Meaning, like a signature method.
They've got their personalized framework.
This is actually something that I teach in depth in the Health Coach Client Blueprint course for Primal.

(09:39):
I'm so excited about that.
But once they've got.
That framework mapped out.
Well, now the next step really is to start kind of start building that community, start getting, you know, leads, start really start getting eyes on your content, really start growing.
And I would say that
My experience is once we really start getting some traction and growing your visibility, you know, I usually see

(10:05):
Coaches from like just like just starting at ground zero, I would say within about three, four months, being able to have your first client because you've got something that you can sell and you have a strategy behind
Who you're talking to and what exactly it is you're offering.
Now, again, notice my words of like having a strategy and a plan, that's the difference.

(10:26):
Now, do I think that having your first client around three, four months is very doable?
Absolutely.
My clients typically are getting their first client after three, four months.
So, you know, that's easy.
That's income right there.
And then I would say typically.
By the time for a new coach to really probably get to like consistent 10K months, I do think we're talking about a year, like sometimes longer.

(10:48):
I mean, would you agree?
Do you feel like that's kind of like a good
Timeframe as far as like, what do you think?
I mean, for me, that's what I see.
I did that a little bit sooner, but I had, you know, a 20-year back, 20 years, 20-year background in sales and marketing before I went into coaching.
And so I think that that helped.
Right.
I actually love your timeline, to be honest with you.
My timeline has always been a little more conservative.

(11:10):
Like, I would say, you know, hang on to your day job for three years.
You know, to get it to the point, and maybe that's a different way of saying a different thing, but it's sort of like, you know, we're not going to jump all in and burn the boats on this brand thing.
But b for if I for me for about year three it was like I can saw Lidly walk away from my my main gig now.

(11:33):
I didn't walk away from my main gig, even though I was making six figures at that point.
I was doing consistent.
I didn't walk away from it for two years.
I held on to it and worked this as a side hustle.
And then, even when I left, it was.
It was still a leap of faith, but I was like, okay, I can see now that this is promising and I need to devote my full attention.
So I agree.
Like any coach that tells you, like any business coach that tells you, oh,

(11:56):
You're going to be making 10k months in the next six months.
They're lying.
It's not true.
I would say it's closer to like minimum a year.
I would say minimum a year to start making like 10k months.
Yeah, I really like that timeline.
I think it's reasonable.
Also, three to four months to get your first client is like
The blink of an eye, kind of.

(12:17):
The thing is, I want to validate to coaches that feel like it's taking forever, but really it's not.
Like, you know, it's that old Gary Vee quote.

I think it was Gary Vee who said (12:24):
if you want to do something for the rest of your life, don't quit after two weeks.
So to put in three or four months of effort to get a client who just can't wait to work with you is amazing.
That would never happen.
On your own.
Well, absolutely.
And this is one of the things that before kind of the flow of which I'm teaching in this course, again, I'm like, I'm so on fire for this course.

(12:46):
Like, seriously, you guys are going to hear me talk about it all throughout this episode because.
I just, this is seriously like the most robust kind of gold standard course for launching your coaching business.
I mean, everything.
That I have paid hundreds of thousands of dollars for over the last years in growing my business, just even my experience and growing to

(13:09):
Online businesses and also just in coaching clients.
I mean, I have put everything in here.
And so, one of the things that we talk about in this course, and this is, I think, something that
A lot of new coaches way underutilize is they way underutilize their current network.
And I think a lot of times, and this is something like in this course, before I even get into, okay, now let's grow on social media, I spent a lot of time talking about different ways.

(13:36):
That you can kind of utilize your current network for getting your very first client because your very first client can and should come from somebody that already
Knows you and trusts you, or maybe an acquaintance.
And I think what stops people from like utilizing that network
This is because they're like, oh my gosh, but I don't want to be, what will people think of me?

(13:59):
They're afraid of putting themselves out there.
What will people think of me?
Or I don't want to bother them.
They kind of have this idea of like,
A door-to-door salesman, you know, something like that.
And they just don't want to do it.
But in reality, I mean, really, you really kind of relying on your network.
Maybe it's your just the your
social media page of your friends and family.
It's people that you work with or whatever, and just people that you meet at the gym.

(14:23):
I teach you in this course how to talk about your offer in a way
That just feels natural and authentic, and is like, hey, basically, like, this is what I'm doing.
Like, and in a very easy and organic way that doesn't feel so salesy.
I think a lot of people are afraid.
to talk about their offer because they're afraid they are going to be salesy.
And so you kind of miss out, especially in the beginning of being able to work with somebody kind of like a warm lead that already kind of knows you.

(14:49):
So yeah, I go back to again, this fully backs up my
Statement of like being able to get your first client in the first three to four months, absolute freaking lootly, because the first three to four months is all about really
defining your niche, getting more clear on that, defining your ideal client, mapping out like your, like I said, signature method or framework or process.

(15:12):
Really thinking about your offer and what that looks like.
And now it's like once you've got all that, well, you've got what you need to make a client to get a client.
Bottom line.
Yeah.
I love that perspective of leverage the people who you know who are following you already, your friends, your family, your acquaintances.
It's so interesting because I feel like
What what the hesitation would be potentially I'm just extrapolating, so hear me out, but oh, you know, I'm embarrassed or it's a little you know, to tell people that I'm pivoting into this new career path.

(15:42):
And right out the gate, that's not the energy that we need here.
What do you mean, you're embarrassed?
Like, plant the flag in the ground.
Say, I'm now a health coach, friends and family.
Here's who I help.
Here's what I can help you with.
And there's definitely somebody in your acquaintance list who needs that help.
Yeah, and here's what this is what I find.
The reason why they are even like embarrassed sometimes, or like a little bit unsure, are like the lack of confidence.

(16:08):
Is because they themselves are not crystal clear on exactly the problem that they solve and exactly who they're helping.
So they don't even have like a little elevator pitch ready of like if someone would be like, Hey, what are you doing?
Like, you should be able to be like, you know what?
I'm super excited.
I just launched this company.
I'm helping women over 40 and sustainable fat loss.
Like, something, like, some quick little one-liner.

(16:29):
And they don't have that in kind of in their bank to immediately pull.
And so then they freeze.
Yeah.
Right.
They freeze, they don't know what to say.
And especially in the beginning, when you are trying to do it on your own, and you're fumbling a little bit about.
Kind of nailing some of those foundational, fundamental pieces of the business, right?
Who am I helping, and what's the problem I'm solving, and who, and like, how do I do it?

(16:53):
And so then again, they just freeze.
So they miss those opportunities because they're not confident even speaking about their own business because they trip over their own words.
And so then they say nothing.
And so this is why it's so important, even before, well, and then this is what happens.
Let me back it up.
Then that happens, and then they decide that they want to get on social media, and then they wonder why they're not getting eyes on their content.

(17:18):
You were not even confident talking about it to like somebody you know at the gym.
So if you're not confident talking to
If you know about somebody at the gym or talking about somebody you know at the gym, we should not be getting on social media yet.
Like, let's wait, let's hammer some things out, then let's do this.
And let me also say one thing about that, though.
I'm not saying, don't read between the lines, listeners, and think that I'm saying that you have to have everything perfect before you get on social media.

(17:44):
That's not.
What I'm saying.
In fact, the way that I coach people as we are in those first, especially those first couple months of really thinking through our niche
And our ideal client.
The goal here is to get it about 75 to 80 percent of the way there.
Like, just have a general work and idea, kind of have it.
In fact, this is one of the things that we do in the courses in the beginning.

(18:04):
We talk through like kind of what I call a working I help statement.
And that's just enough to like kind of get us going and get the momentum and start building out our program.
And our process, and then once we've got it there, now it's time to take it to social media, and that will allow us to start testing and refining and get a little bit more solid in some of these foundational pieces.

(18:26):
And so to your point about just feeling like unconfident or embarrassed, I mean, I think that's exactly what holds people up.
100%.
No, that's a good point.
Okay, so you've built up this incredibly robust course that not only teaches but guides and coaches and mentors.
Health coaches to launch their business, get their first client, the health coach client blueprint.

(18:50):
I've got a website here, primalhealthcoach.
com forward slash HCCB, health coach client blueprint.
That's hard for me to say, but we're good.
We're good.
And I would love to just run through this incredibly robust, just really this confidence building product development oriented curriculum that you've created here.
If we can, just module by module, high level, if you're cool with that.

(19:13):
So let's start module one.
Clients are only seeking expert help.
So this is the expert locking in on your expertise.
Yeah, absolutely.

You know, the reason why I wanted to start here before we started diving into a lot of the tactical stuff, and I will say this (19:25):
you know, one thing about this.
This course is, yes, it is a very confident, you know, confidence-building course for sure, but that's because it is a literally a step-by-step.
Strategy-heavy course.
And the one thing that I know about confidence is confidence comes from action, not just from thinking about it, right?

(19:47):
So, I, in this course, we're definitely giving you the, you know, the step-by-step, and that's why I wanted to start.
With Module One about really claiming your expert identity is because before we really get into the tactical stuff, you yourself as the coach need to own
That you are the expert, and you need to start thinking in terms of a specialist or an expert, not just a generalist, right?

(20:10):
Nobody hires a health coach.
Now, hold up, let me explain that.
They hire health coaches, but health coaches who help with very specific problems.
Okay, it's very rare that somebody is going to hire a health coach just for like better health for women.
Like it, people, because that's not what people are Googling.
That's not what people are going to pay money for.

We really have to start getting our head around if we are really going to start getting clients, which is this is what this entire course is about (20:31):
right?
A rinse and repeat system for getting clients and launching your business.
You yourself have to start thinking in terms of an expert.

And so that's where we start (20:43):
how do we start really starting to think big picture about the clear problem that you solve?
Which is really going to be the foundation for your niche and your offer and your marketing.
And that's that first module where we start.
I love that.
I've shared this before to health coaches that I speak to, this idea of you have to declare yourself an expert, and the quote-unquote imposter syndrome comes in.

(21:10):
You know, to be honest with you, I don't necessarily want to talk a ton about imposter syndrome today because I just feel like it's been spoken about so many times.
But the point is,
You have to be an expert.
I get it that you feel shy about that, but literally, no one's hiring you unless you're an expert.
And you are an expert in something.
Yes.
Yes.
Absolutely.
Yeah.

(21:30):
Yeah.

com forward slash HCR today.
The second module is one that
I feel like gets people get hung up on for way too long.
So, this is the niching, niche alignment map, you call it.
This has helped people.
I say niche, maybe you say niche.
We're going to go with all pronunciations, all pronunciations.
I say niche.

(22:11):
We're good.
We can say niche on this one.
Perfect.
So take us through how you help the coach clarify their niche.
You know, when it comes to a niche, because I am really of kind of the belief that listen, if you're going to start your own business, you better love what you do.
You better be excited about what you do.

And so, kind of the place that I always like to start with new coaches is (22:29):
listen, I always like to ask this kind of million-dollar question, which is like, okay, if you could just dream big.
And think about your dream business.
I don't want you worrying about the how, right?
That's my job.
I teach you the how of how to execute it.
I just want you to think about the what.
Like, if you could think about your dream business and who you would love to help, who would that be?

(22:54):
What would that be about?
And really, starting there.
And so, really in this module, it is a combination of really helping.
New coaches to take their story, their experiences, their expertise, their passions, their interests.
And where is that perfect intersection between that and market demand?

(23:15):
Right.
And that is what we are, you know, really exploring in this
offer or in this module is tapping into what do you want to do and then what's there a need for?
And and where is that intersection?
Now the cool thing about being a health coach is there's pretty much a need for pretty much every niche out there when it comes to health coaching.
Okay.
Like
And if you're not, and you normally, if you're not getting traction, it may be because you're actually too general, right?

(23:41):
We need to even get more specific, right?

So, I think that this is just in this module, this is just a really good, you know, great opportunity to really answer one of the foundational questions of building out your business and launching your business (23:44):
what's the problem you're solving?
Right.
And also, like, who getting really crystal clear on your ideal client and who is it that you want to work with?
And just really starting to think through through that lens of what, you know, what lights you up.

(24:08):
And where does your expertise lie?
And what does the market need?
Cool.
So on the product market fit thing, what do you recommend there?
Is it sort of a market research activity that they're going to do?
Yeah, so it's a little bit of that.
I take them through some different brainstorming exercises, some different tools, exercises that kind of get your wheels turning to really tap into.

(24:28):
Again, like your expertise and experience, and then also then we take that, and then how do we validate it in the market?

In fact, that's a whole lesson in the course (24:34):
is like actually how to, you know, some different, some different
Ways to actually validate that niche in the market just to make sure that it's what people are wanting, it's what people are searching, it's what people are Googling.
Cool.
Oh, amazing.
Gosh, this is so nice and method, like methodological.
You know what I mean?
It's a process, it's a framework.

(24:55):
I think that for folks, a lot of folks, not everybody, having these sort of tasks to complete helps them feel more anchored in the process.
Yes.
Yeah.
We get to module three, which is the core offer framework.
So say more about that.
Oh, yeah.
So, and I love what you said about it.
It's very like methodical because you're right.
Like, I really did, when I sat down to really craft this course, it was like, okay, from start to.

(25:19):
Finish.
Like, if somebody, like, one of my, you know, my, thinking back at me and my business, or new or my, you know, my students that come to me, like, with brand new beginners, like, what is the process that I take them with?
All the way from, like, hey, I've got this idea, or hey, I've got this certification, all the way to getting your first client.
And that, and that's really kind of the flow.
So, really, now that we've got some clarification on, you know, your niche and who it is that you're helping.

Well, now it's time to really dive into building, like answering the question (25:42):
how do you help people, right?
Like, what is your process?
What is your offer?
And this is where we are going to from the ground up in real time.
And this is what I love about this course and the way that we've set this up.
It is a combination.
It's a six-month course.
It's education and implementation.
And so I am there building out the business with you in real time.

(26:06):
And so, this is where we get to build out your first offer, which, as beginner coaches,
It is a your signature.
It is highly recommended to start with a one-on-one offer.
And in fact, I go into a whole lesson about why, why do we do that?
Why do we start with one-on-one and not with group and not with you know some digital courses and things like that?

(26:26):
And so in this, we go step by step for not just how to create your offer, right, and we talk about pricing and we talk about deliverables and we talk about actually how to deliver it, technology and all of that.
But then we also then need to talk about something very, very important from a messaging and marketing standpoint, which is what is how do we take

(26:50):
Your signature coaching offer, and really attach a signature method to it or a signature framework.
Now, having a signature method or a signature framework, like so, my signature method in my personal business when I coach.
People through starting their coaching business, it's the 3C method.
Now, I'm not going to break that down, but I wanted to just share that acronym, the 3C method.

(27:13):
And so, it's a proprietary method.
That I use in my business.
And the reason why I have that is because, number one, having a signature method or a process.
Is the fastest way to build trust with your ideal client?
People want to know that you got a system and it's not just willy-nilly, right?
People want to know
That it's a proven system that works.

(27:36):
Also, though, having a signature method is what's going to make you stand out in the marketplace because nobody else has your method.
So, you know, this is where we get to at this module.
This is where not only are we going to create your offer from the ground up, we're then going to look at it through some marketing lens, right?
So some marketing goggles.
And figure out how then we can start.

(27:58):
This is the beginning of starting to work on the messaging and positioning of your offer so that you can start to present it, right?
And start to get it out into the marketplace.
Amazing.
Yeah.
We got to have this tangible thing that we're quote unquote selling so we can talk about it.
Yeah.
And I will say, you know, I'm a weight loss coach.
But if I say, oh, I'm a weight loss coach, that doesn't hold a ton of

(28:21):
interest or quite frankly value 'cause it's like, oh, what?
Like macros.
But if what I if I say, oh, I've developed a weight loss method for women over forty five
Now I've got someone's attention.
A thousand percent.
A thousand percent.
Like I've developed the weight loss method that can, you know, X, Y, and Z or whatever that is, right?
And that's exactly right.

(28:41):
And that's exactly what we're working on in this module.
Cool.
All right, module four, the lead to client blueprint.
Oh, yes.
Okay, so I love this so much because this is exactly where
We I am going to share the framework and the exact steps for how do you start to tap into your existing network to get your first one to five clients.

(29:05):
This is where we're going to talk.
I know we already mentioned that just a little bit ago, but this is the module where I am breaking that down.
And notice, I am teaching this before we go into the next module, which is all about visibility and social media and all of that.
But because, again, going back to what I just said, which is, you know, number one, I think really using your existing network to get clients in the beginning is important because it's going to give you some momentum.

(29:30):
I think number two, it's also going to give you the opportunity to test your offer in a little bit more relaxed space before you start.
Really putting it out there for everybody to see.
It's also going to give you the opportunity to tweak and refine and get some real honest feedback.
From people that you know or acquaintances that you know, it's just a low-pressure way to like beta test the offer, whether or not you charged for that or not.

(29:56):
And so, I do recommend charging for it.
But that's a whole other conversation for a whole other day.
But, yes, so this is where in this lead-to-client blueprint, this is where I break down exactly how to get your first clients without even creating your visibility plan.
Hell yeah.
Love it.
Yeah.
I also, by the way, like that you snuck in there.
Like, yeah, you should be charging for this.
Yeah, you should be charging.
Yeah, we're not doing we're exactly.

(30:17):
That's right.
We're not giving away free.
Module 5, I'm really, really excited about.
I don't know why I'm so excited, but build a business toolkit.
So, this is where you're actually teaching the coaches how to use some of the tech
Tools.
Oh, wait.
So that one is build the toolkit one, that is like Module 7.

So the one Module 5 is the next one (30:31):
Client Visibility System.
So, the client visibility system, I got to tell you, I'm actually super fired up about this one.
Now, this is one of the more longer and more robust
Modules because I am teaching you everything I know and proven systems for growing on social media.

(30:53):
I mean, I'm talking step by steps for how to create a real
How to write a caption, how to sell in your stories, how to use polls in your stories for market research, how to have DM conversations.
I mean,
We are doing it with social media in this module.
And, you know, I got to tell you, there's the exact systems that I have used in my business that I think really were responsible for.

(31:19):
Such massive growth, even when I pivoted this, you know, back in 2024.
I'm teaching it all.
Like, I'm so excited to

To share this module, but that's exactly what module five is about (31:26):
creating your specific visibility plan, specifically how it relates to social media.
Oh my gosh, I'm so excited you're teaching this because I've tried to teach it.
I'm not good.
I'm just going to keep reminding people that I'm not good at this.
That's why we have business coaches in the world.
Like, one of the things that we hear this in our student community a lot, which is, well, I've been posting on Instagram, you know, on social.

(31:51):
and nobody's liking it or commenting, and my audience isn't growing.
And it's like, well, simply posting isn't quite enough to get you there.
There is strategy.
What's interesting, and I I hope everybody listening to this is like on the same level as we are, but like Amber and I both have grown our business, I spe specifically on Instagram.
Yes, there are other platforms, but that one is the one.

(32:14):
It's the one for coaches.
I'll tell you that.
And I can speak from that from experience because
I first started my coaching business actually on TikTok.
I mean, TikTok's my biggest, I think I have almost 300,000 followers on TikTok, and I haven't posted over there in a year because I realized
Is that it was not as for coaches?
There's no other, there is no other platform like Instagram, just with your ability to DM people with the story, just the whole situation.

(32:39):
So I just want to validate that.
Yeah, so go ahead.
It's a crucial tech tool.
I consider Instagram a crucial tech tool.
And I just, you know, I know that there are coaches listening who really want to do this in an analog fashion.
You hate social media, you hate being on your phone.
To some extent, I also do.
Yeah, no, same, same, yes, same.
But but like it is one of the most crucial business tools, and Instagram has built in incredible business growth tools.

(33:03):
Just as long as you know how to use them, and Amber's going to teach you that.
That's exactly, yeah, that's exactly what we get into in Module 5.

And I got to tell you (33:09):
like, there is no other, in my opinion.
There is no other sales mechanism like Instagram.
There's just not.
Like it once you really start to tap into like some of this strategy and like step into it, like kind of get into your groove, there's just there's no mechanism like that.
So yeah, so we are diving deep.
into social media and module five.

(33:30):
Cool.
All right, what's module six?
Looks like my list is out of order.
Oh, okay.
Okay.
So module six.
This is now that we have really like mapped out our offer or like our niche and our offer and we've
Started really getting visible, and we've hopefully started getting some clients at this point.
Like now, it's really time to go deeper into this sales system.

(33:51):
So, module six is the aligned sales system.
And this is really where I teach you a very specific process of really, of really doing sales, like how to do sales calls, how to pre-qualify your leads, how to understand buyer psychology.
like how to handle objections.
You know, this is really, I think, what really bridges the skills that I'm teaching you in module five about just becoming visible.

(34:18):
It's like, okay, now that we've become visible, now what do we do with these people?
Right, what do we do with these leads?
So, I walk you through my step-by-step process of again, like how to actually run a discovery call.
What are some different strategies you can do for getting people out of the DMs and onto discovery calls?
We go heavy into the sales process in Module 7 or Module 6.

(34:40):
Because I got to tell you, like,
You can be the best coach in the world.
You can have the best programs in the world.
You can have the best Instagram page in the world.
But if you don't know how to sell yourself and you don't know how to do discovery calls, you are not going to have a profitable business.
So sales is another skill that you have to learn.
And I really operate from the mindset of sales is service, right?

(35:04):
Sales isn't slimy or awkward.
It doesn't have to be slimy or it doesn't have to be awkward or any of those things.

And I teach you that step by step (35:09):
like, okay, what is the flow of a discovery call that actually leads to high conversions, but also is a process that like feels comfortable?
and feels authentic.
And this is where having like your signature method that I'm going to teach you and walk you through, this is why this is so important on discovery calls.
All of that, right?

So, yeah, that's what we're doing in module six (35:29):
going deep into sales.
Amazing.
That's awesome.
Just such a crucial skill to learn.
I just want to reflect back to your point, which is imagine getting on a sales call.
With a protective client, you don't even know what you do or how you do it.
That's why you need to know what you do and how you do it, because there's going to be a prescription element to the call once you've done the appropriate discovery.

(35:51):
But I just got to say.
I love doing sales calls and I'm surprised by that because I don't have a sales background.
I'm not a sales person, but it's simply
I'm an expert with a solution, and I'm really excited to see if it's going to work for you, person on the other end of the video.
Same thing.
Same.
Same, same, same.
So.
That's exactly right, right?

(36:11):
Like, I love doing them too because it's basically like, hey, if I've done my job pre-qualifying, which is what I go deep in that in this module.
Than what I, it's exciting for me.
It's almost like it kind of like, I don't want to say like a game because that doesn't sound right, but it's more like I'm excited to like meet you.
I'm excited to hear what's going on with you, and I'm excited to see if I can help you.
Yeah, like and that's it, right?

(36:32):
And so that's why I love them too.
So that's why I say sales is service, okay?
Absolutely.
So, okay, so let's move on then to the, I'll just run through the kind of the last few modules.
So, this is a module seven, is the streamlined coaching toolkit.
Now, this is where I do dive into like what are the essential tools

(36:54):
That you need to really launch your business.
And the reason why I wanted to throw this in here is because, and maybe this is like my own personal experience, but I got to tell you, when I first launched my business,
I knew nothing.
And the amount of money that I spent on all of these systems and platforms, and tons of money on a website that I didn't need at the time, and all of these things, I mean thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars.

(37:15):
And so, I think I'm a really big believer in the beginning, especially like when you're trying to grow your business to keep things really lean and just operate with what you need, takes the pressure off, and there's just no need to invest in all this stuff if you're still figuring it out.
So.
That's what I break down in Module 7.
Exactly, what do you need to launch your business while still looking professional, but not going overboard and spending a ton of money?

(37:38):
I love that.
Yeah, we do need tech tools.
And these tech tools are geared for like quote unquote non-techie online entrepreneurs.
So don't stress.
Like we can you can learn how to do it.
Yeah, absolutely.
You just reminded me that I've been paying for SamCart for a whole year and I still haven't figured out how to use it.
Oh my God.
Okay, well, girl, we got to get to use the SamCart because it's awesome.

(38:00):
Okay, so.
And one thing I want to say before I show the last two modules, I will tell you that the whole way that we created this course is for like the working professional in mind.
So the way that I've created these modules.
They are all and in fact, when you start the program, I break down kind of like the six-month plan on how to really use this course so that you are like learning and implementing in real time.

(38:26):
Because this is not the course where you just like
Learn a bunch of stuff and then you're on your way.
It's like we learn and then we implement.
We learn and we implement.
And there's real like live coaching calls with me, like laser-focused one-on-one coaching calls in a group setting every single week.
Like,
I mean, seriously, the amount of support that you have in building out this business and support in between, you know, we really designed this to where the working professional could.

(38:52):
Really, consume this and do this while working a full-time job, and also be getting the support that they need in real time to be able to build this.
So, at the end of the six months,
It's like, hopefully, our goal for you is that you've got clients on your roster.
Like, you're growing your social media.
You have a plan to keep growing and scaling after that.
I love that.
That's amazing.
Like, really good thinking.

(39:12):
Really good thinking because.
Because, as we touched on earlier, that's realistically how you're all going to do it.
You're going to tiptoe out of your day job.
But please hang on to it.
In the meantime, you can absolutely put this all together.
Yes, yes, absolutely, absolutely.
So the last couple ones that I have is the module eight.
This is what I call the simplified launch.

(39:34):
Path.
And I'm super excited.
I am going to be teaching.
And the reason why I go to launch is because now that we are, you know, we've started building our social media.
Well, eventually you're going to build enough traction to where
You are going to want to launch your offer, and there's different environments and different situations and scenarios of how you actually launch.
An offer, but you're going to want a plan to be able to bring in revenue, right?

(39:59):
And revenue that you can count on.
You know, I'm sure you've talked about this on, you know, on this show, but there's really kind of two models there.
And there's actually three, because you can do a hybrid.
You can either do the launch model where you just
It is like open and close cart launches, you know, multiple times a year, or it is more of an evergreen where you're constantly, you're always offering something.
Or there's sometimes there's a hybrid.

(40:21):
You've got some things that you offer all the time and some things that you open and close.
And so, I am going to be teaching you guys what it's called the simple launch cycle.
This was actually a strategy that was inspired by our business coach, Jill Coleman, and she taught it to me years ago.
And I have since
Then taking it and making it made it my own and adapted it and used it in my own business.

(40:43):
And now I teach it to my clients for getting their you know their system in place.
And now I have actually tweaked it even more.
To make it very specific for health coaches and the way that we do things at Primal.
And so, this is a very, this is a system that is very beginner-friendly, very low overwhelm, and really an easy way to bring money into the business without having to do complicated.

(41:06):
Funnels and run ads and do all kinds of massive email blasts, and like you know, all kinds of like the heavy lifting activities that can come with like a formal launch.
I am teaching you this brand new process that I have developed for Primal, and I'm so excited for that.
It is, I got to tell you, it is the system.

(41:28):
Like it is the fastest way to make consistent money in your business as a brand new coach, hands down.
I will stand behind that statement all day, every day.
So.
That's what I'm teaching in Module 8.
I'm going to take this course.
Girl, right?
Okay.
And then wrapping it up, like what we're going to, what we'll get to in Module 9 is, let's talk about client delivery and retention.

(41:49):
Like now that we've gotten these clients, right?
Like how do we deliver an exceptional client experience that really keeps people coming back and keeps people, you know.
Sending you referrals, right?
We also are going to talk about what are some different ways that you can refine your program over time and your process over time.
We'll talk about the referral process, getting testimonials.

(42:11):
And just kind of the next steps.
What are some, what's kind of the natural progression of scaling your business once you launch it?
Amazing.
Wow.
You covered everything.
There's really literally not one gap in this curriculum.
Right?
That's why I'm so on fire about it.
I'm serious.
I'm like, this is like start that.
Like, if I've had this when I first started, seriously, because this is.

(42:34):
Compiled over years of mentors, years of experience, two online businesses, coaching other coaches.
And now I finally created a proprietary system just for Primal that walks you through all of it.
Yeah.
I would say, you know, just to kind of to reflect back on something we kind of touched on earlier, which is like maybe ten years ago was the best you know, not the best.

(42:56):
Maybe 10 years ago starting an online business was different because it wasn't quite as big of a marketplace.
And that seems really enticing.
But what we have available to us now is now people like yourself that have a decade or so of experience online.
And have worked out all the kinks and now have systems.
Yes.
Now there's a system to follow.

(43:18):
And coaches, listen, you don't know what it is.
Why would you?
But Amber knows what it is and will teach it to you.
In this really personalized
Coaching relationship, too, because you mentioned earlier, there's coaching calls with you weekly to get questions answered.
So they lean in for support.
How's that looking?
Yeah.
So, you know, as I mentioned, like, when you know, at the beginning of the course, I walk you through, like, okay, here's kind of the roadmap, here's a six-month.

(43:40):
Month roadmap, and it is a combination of education and implementation.
And I'm guiding you all along the way.
And the way I love it, I really, when I said that we've developed this for like working professionals, it's just
Because the way that we've kind of spaced everything out.
So, with each module, the idea is each module will take about two weeks.
And so, the first week is like really just consuming the module, which again, I've created these in like bite-sized videos.

(44:05):
Every module may have maybe three to seven lessons, and the lessons could be anywhere from seven minutes to.
You know, on average, like 15 minutes.
Some of the ones are a little bit more robust and a little bit longer, but that's on average.
So you could really kind of like binge this, consume it, work through it, like that one module, then come to the coaching call that week.

(44:27):
Like, let's run through, let's talk through some things.
And then, let's spend the second week, then, really, like, implementing it and really, you know, kind of
Creating everything and then kind of the coaching call for feedback.
And then we move on to the next module.
And then we've got some additional implementation weeks worked in there to just give some.
Longer, you know, to give some more time to some of the longer modules.

(44:47):
But yeah, I mean, it really is designed again.
This is like a build, launch your business, like in real time as we go type of a course.
Yeah.
Absolutely.
Yeah, because you know, otherwise, there's a lot of wheel spinning that can happen.
So amazing.
You've got this incredible robust curriculum.
They get to lean in for support with you.
We're getting this done in six months.
Zero to launch in six months.

(45:08):
Zero to launch.
Well, first client in three to four.
I mean, yeah, yeah, a thousand percent.
Amazing.
Okay, cool.

So the website again, I just want to repeat it (45:14):
is primalhealthcoach.

Have this available to them so they can get out there and start helping people.
It's awesome.
