Speaker 2 (00:14):
De what's going on? Everybody? Welcome back to Heart and
Soul Melodies. Here in studio AKA and my house. I
had a cool studio like you do. This is a
cool room.
Speaker 3 (00:29):
No, like like those professional podcasters have right now. Yeah,
I know I'm not quite of the profession. I'm just funzies.
Speaker 2 (00:37):
Sometimes that's too.
Speaker 3 (00:38):
Much though, it gets too professional that. Yeah, we're so authentic,
the authenticity.
Speaker 2 (00:43):
We're just we're all. We're real. Long time no see you.
Speaker 1 (00:46):
We were just together this morning, yes, and we're back
together this afternoon. For those listening on Wednesday when this
comes out, we're recording this the day before, so we're
going to talk pop culture.
Speaker 2 (00:57):
But if something happened between then and now, good disclimber,
good disclaimer. I love a disclamor how you doing. I'm good.
Speaker 3 (01:07):
I'm doing great, that's great. Yeah, it's good to be here. Yeah,
I'm feeling calm.
Speaker 1 (01:12):
Really Yeah, this time last week I was not calm.
Let me just tell you that. Yeah, yeah, I had
a stressful week, and like I was telling you this morning,
we got our hormones check this morning together. My luteal
phase is not okay for me these days. Yes, the
week before my period, I've been experiencing lots of like anxiety, rage,
(01:34):
like mood, epic mood swings.
Speaker 2 (01:38):
And last week was that week for me.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
Yeah, So I was just like, that's rough, feeling off
and then like circumstantially, things were hard in life, and.
Speaker 3 (01:44):
So I feel like this it was all coming at
you all at once. So I feel like this week's
a lot better.
Speaker 2 (01:50):
The calm after the storm. Calm after the storm. Yeah
for sure, I love that for you. Yeah, thank you. Well,
we've got stuff to talk about.
Speaker 1 (01:56):
It's been a minute since we've done anything reality TV, anything.
Speaker 3 (02:00):
Pop culture brow. So it has been a while. It's
been a lot has happened. I mean it's at least
been a month. I think it's been more month because
I don't think we even talked about Love Island ever.
Speaker 2 (02:12):
No, And I didn't watch lot. You didn't watch it,
And what is your reasoning for that?
Speaker 3 (02:17):
Well? You know me, trash Davy, Uh huh yeah, yep, yeah, okay,
I love it.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
I think I know where you're going with this. Well, no,
there's two routes that I'll go.
Speaker 1 (02:27):
One is I tried to start Love Island last summer
as well, same thing happened where it's like that first
episode is so bad.
Speaker 3 (02:35):
I just think it's horrible. What do you mean, Like
what about stupid intros?
Speaker 2 (02:40):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (02:40):
I know it is just like literally putting their bare
butts up to a camera and like quirking.
Speaker 2 (02:46):
That's like all it is, for sure? For sure, No,
it is soft porn. It's soft porn.
Speaker 3 (02:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
So that always makes me feel uncomfy. And I'm not one.
I'm not like a prude when it comes to television.
Speaker 3 (02:58):
No, we watch enough trash. You won't be truths. We're
not pludes. It is another level. It's another level.
Speaker 2 (03:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (03:05):
And it's another level when I'm like trying to catch
up on shows on my phone while also trying to
be a stay at home mom, and like that's on my.
Speaker 2 (03:13):
Phone, you know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (03:14):
Yeah, and Will's is like what's up, mom? Yeah, and
You're like, I don't know, I'm just watching a working contest. Yeah,
it's it's getting getting straight. He's like, oh, I actually
have conviction about that.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
Yeah, exactly. For once in my life, I can know
Mikey doesn't watch this show.
Speaker 3 (03:27):
And there are times where I'm watching and I'm like,
do we feel like I feel I feel like I'd
be really uncomfortable with Mikey walked down the room right
now and saw what I was watching.
Speaker 1 (03:34):
Yes, that's and that's kind of where I this is.
So this season. Watched this season, same thing happened. Like
I watched the first episode and I was like, one, Like,
the way that our house is like set up is
like we have the TV in the living room, as
most do, but like our house is like mid century style,
so there's like really big windows. Yes, and so that
face the street, the face the yeah, so like so
(03:57):
people in the street can see what I'm watching your
self pore and that felt weird.
Speaker 2 (04:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (04:02):
But the other reason, and the main reason I will say,
is it's just so many episodes and I couldn't stay
caught up with two kids.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
No, that's fair. It's at nine o'clock, like your bedtime,
stay late.
Speaker 3 (04:13):
So yeah, you've been asleep for an hour, but with
all the wall you don't sleep.
Speaker 2 (04:17):
But like, you know, you've been in bed for an hour.
I'm on D and D, you know what I mean?
And always, like, you're always on D and D right now?
Always D you are I text you? Is that annoying? No,
not at all. But I'm just like I know that
she may have been.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
I made that decision for my life about a year
and a half ago to be always on it always.
Speaker 3 (04:39):
Well, see, there are people that don't realize that they're
on D and D and I'll be like, oh, that
you're on D and D and they're like, no, I'm not.
I'm like, no, the notification is here that you're on
D and D. And I think that there was like
some weird glitch for a while that like people were
on D and D but they their setting said that
they weren't. But my you know, my thing would show
that it says D and D and I'm like, I
(05:00):
don't know. And then but this is just not the
case for you.
Speaker 2 (05:04):
You've decided that it's constant.
Speaker 1 (05:06):
And I think it's because once I had William, I
was I've gotten really bad at like being able to
respond to text right away for sure, And so this
just lets the person know, like if I'm not responding.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
It's because I'm on D and D right, exactly, you
are not focusing on your phone. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (05:24):
Well, and like also, I was on my phone so
much with D and D and I'm a very anxious person.
Speaker 2 (05:33):
And because my phone's connected to my watch when I'm
on when I'm not on D and.
Speaker 3 (05:37):
D, it dings on it dings on my watch, and
it makes me feel like I got to I've got
to get to my computer right now, or I've got
to do this even like yeah, that's sestion from for
like soul bookings, like every booking would come up with
my watch and I'd be like, oh, I've got to
make sure there's enough.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
Like it would just get me anxious. So I decided
to go off it.
Speaker 3 (05:55):
Now.
Speaker 1 (05:55):
I will take D and D off if I'm expecting
an important phone call or like a doctor's call or
like someone's I don't know, but rarely do I take
it off.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
And that's kind of why I think that's fabulous.
Speaker 1 (06:06):
Michael doesn't ever go off D and D, and then
he didn't know that you could like take certain people off.
So like when Michael calls me, I get it.
Speaker 2 (06:17):
You get it? Yeah, because say exactly.
Speaker 1 (06:21):
He didn't know you could do that, so he very
answered me, oh, like the first six and a half
years of our marriage, because I just changed it on
his phone.
Speaker 3 (06:28):
I just feel like sometimes when you're on D and
D too much, though, it's kind of like The Boy
Who Cried Wolf, where it's like, listen, I texted you.
I know that you got it. Yeah, but you're always
on D and D Like what you never look at
your phone?
Speaker 2 (06:40):
Well, not only is he on D and D all
the time, but he's on his.
Speaker 3 (06:45):
Phone, I bet well, and he has read receipts on
so that little idiot.
Speaker 2 (06:50):
I'll text him and I see.
Speaker 3 (06:51):
He's reads like imdiot. It's like it has your text
thread open.
Speaker 2 (06:54):
It's like, yeah, like.
Speaker 3 (06:59):
Not do technology correct on people, don't put them on.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
I don't want to know that you're ignoring me.
Speaker 1 (07:06):
I don't want anyone to know that I'm ignoring them,
and vice versa.
Speaker 2 (07:09):
I totally agree.
Speaker 1 (07:10):
My toxic trait though, is that I will read a
text on my watch or something while I'm doing something
and I am like, oh, I'll totally respond to that
when I'm done with this, and then I.
Speaker 2 (07:19):
Forget okay because it marked it as red and that's
on me. I get sorry. Okay, so where did this
tangent come from? Where? Oh? Love Love Island? Yeah, oh,
I just didn't have the time to put into it.
Totally fine.
Speaker 1 (07:32):
But I do listen to all these the same podcasts
that you do, pop culture podcast and so I feel
like I know who the people are.
Speaker 3 (07:39):
Yeah, and I'm sure you see in all the memes Mamasita,
like all the stuff going on me that was very funny,
you know, am I a papaya gratuli? Like? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (07:47):
No, I know the funny stuff. Yeah? And I know
who won? And you know who won, yeah, which everyone
at this point knows should know why. Yeah, it's been
two days. Am I a papaya? Yeah? Are you happy
she won?
Speaker 3 (07:57):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (07:58):
I love her so Sally.
Speaker 3 (07:59):
I think she's just so She's just such a gracious
and grateful little human being.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
She's adorable. I think it went well. I think it
went great.
Speaker 3 (08:10):
And I think like her guy that she's coupled up with, Brian.
He stood up for her during this this game that
they were playing and people were really like piling on
her and kind of being mean. And I think that's
when like a big shift happened with even America and
they're voting, and Brian stood up for her immediately. He
(08:31):
was like, you, she's misunderstood. It's like their culture, Latina culture,
and like how they speak to each other and they're
very loving with their words. And people were like, it's
too much and it's like you just don't understand, and
I hate will say that someone's too much much.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
Yeah, and so he stood up for her, and then
it just totally.
Speaker 3 (08:51):
Switched, like America was like boom, we are we love Amaya,
we love her for who she is. And so I
really love that Brian didn't hitch his wagon to her
when he knew that.
Speaker 2 (09:01):
America was a fan of her and voting for her.
He did it before. And that's what.
Speaker 3 (09:07):
Makes me feel like it was it's genuine and they
share that same culture. I just think there's just such
a good match. So I'm happy that she won.
Speaker 1 (09:17):
I heard that this season though, there was like some
discourse online about like how no one thinks any of
their relationships are genuine.
Speaker 2 (09:24):
Yeah, I don't think. Yeah, do you think people are
gonna ships are weird?
Speaker 3 (09:28):
I mean there were by the end of it, there
was like one couple that was closed off, and then
all the other couples that closed off.
Speaker 2 (09:35):
One girl just got.
Speaker 3 (09:37):
You know, removed entirely, and then the other two America
voted off.
Speaker 2 (09:41):
So it's just very strange. It was a weird. Yeah,
it was a weird season.
Speaker 3 (09:46):
I feel like everyone was kind of playing the game
too much, of bebopping around to different people and not
really like closing themselves off. I think it really stemmed
from one person in the villa that was like, you
need to be open, you need to be open. It's like, okay,
well you can be open, but if somebody found a
connection and they don't want to, they don't like anyone else,
(10:07):
they can close off with someone. And so I think
that culture kind of got a little infiltrated into everyone's
mind and nobody was closing off.
Speaker 2 (10:17):
It was just the weirdest thing.
Speaker 3 (10:18):
And I feel like even this season, usually there or
in other seasons and UK usually there's way more dates.
Speaker 2 (10:26):
Like people go off on dates more often. And I
really just.
Speaker 3 (10:29):
Feel like producers were like, well, there's so much drama
within the villa and like people are bouncing around that
like why would we take two people out to go
on a date, Like there were no dates. Basically there
were a few, but nobody went to the hideaway. It
was like two people I went to. Like, it was
just a weird season. So I'm happy with who won.
Speaker 1 (10:49):
I think sadly like Love Island aside, that's just kind
of like dating culture these days.
Speaker 2 (10:54):
For sure. No one wants to share back into anyone.
Speaker 1 (10:57):
Nobody wants to commit because there's so it's option overloads.
Speaker 2 (11:00):
It is option over it's option overload.
Speaker 3 (11:02):
But also at the same time, like I have friends
who are single and dating and they are like the
options are zero. Really, yeah, so it's like, well probably
in Wilmington. In Wilmington, I feel like there's so many
gorgeous single women in Queington and not a lot of
men agreed.
Speaker 1 (11:17):
And I think that's tough. Yeah, tough, it's tough out there.
I'm really glad I don't have to die.
Speaker 2 (11:22):
I am right, really glad.
Speaker 3 (11:23):
Yeah, I'm so grateful I don't have to go on
a show like Love Isolin, you know, and I would,
I would to work.
Speaker 2 (11:29):
I ton't.
Speaker 3 (11:29):
I was. I don't have time to watch it, but
i'd have time to do. I got time to go to
Veiji for six weeks. Yeah, that's not a bad place
to be for a month.
Speaker 2 (11:38):
Not bad. Well good.
Speaker 1 (11:39):
I'm glad you enjoyed the season. And I feel like
I did kind of understand who was who.
Speaker 3 (11:44):
I really do wish Iris and Pepe one because they
were a true love story and everyone was trying to
make this other couple a true love story and it
just made no sense.
Speaker 2 (11:56):
Not trying to make vets happen. I'm never going to happen.
Speaker 3 (11:59):
I was like, why are really trying to ship Nickelandria.
I'm like, they are friends.
Speaker 2 (12:03):
I heard I'm sorry that they weren't romantic.
Speaker 3 (12:06):
No, they're not romantic, and everyone's like they're and there's
like friends that blows them to romance and I'm like, no,
it never did. They were always and will forever be
just friends. They're definitely not together outside of the like
that's not a thing. Iris and Pepe came in as
bombshells together and so like when you come in as
a bombshell, you really do like.
Speaker 2 (12:26):
You can't date each other. Yeah, you can't really date
each other. You're you're coming in to stir the pot.
Speaker 3 (12:30):
So they immediately come in together and they get you know, separated,
like they got to go after people in the villa.
So they're just good friends and they're they're they're like
bombshell besties because they came in together, you know whatever,
and they have this rapport and they're like BFFs. And
then Iris's love connection gots voted off and granted love connection.
(12:52):
They were together for like three days, so it's like,
you know, it was fresh, but three days in the villa.
Speaker 2 (12:57):
But three days in the villa is like three weeks. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (13:00):
So so here comes Pepe, sweet Pepe, gorgeous Pepe, and he.
Speaker 2 (13:06):
I gotta see this man. Oh you got to look
up this man. And I don't know what a lot
of them look like, if I'm being honest.
Speaker 3 (13:11):
And they just of course hit it off because they
were BFFs, and then they it turned into a romantic connection.
I'm like, this is what Love Island is about, this
beautiful friendship that then turned into a romantic connection. And
I'm just like, why did they not win? But I
love that Amaya one, Like, yeah, he's cute, he's super
and they're both like very soft spoken, very sweet, very normal,
(13:35):
and I think that's the problem. Kind of looks like
what's her? But from Sarah Cameron from Outer of Rings.
What's her name in real life? Maddie, matt Maddie, Yeah,
Mattie something made Madeline Matisisin. I don't know, having a
heart time remembering things in general, Tart dart.
Speaker 2 (13:52):
But they're cute. Yeah, they're super cute.
Speaker 3 (13:54):
And I think they just didn't get enough screen time
because they truly were.
Speaker 2 (13:57):
Just very normal people.
Speaker 3 (13:59):
They weren'tn't so much drama, they weren't stirring the pot.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
They really were just having a good time in their
own little world and their own little connection.
Speaker 3 (14:06):
Well, but they'll probably ends with everyone else like they
were involved still, so they'll probably make it that perfect.
Speaker 2 (14:12):
I hope they do.
Speaker 3 (14:13):
They both live in La too cute. Yeah, well she's
from Calabasas, he's from.
Speaker 2 (14:19):
Senana, Santana. Whatever.
Speaker 1 (14:23):
You could have said anything inutibility anything. Yeah, I'm like
California so cute.
Speaker 2 (14:28):
I'm like, let's do it.
Speaker 3 (14:29):
You know.
Speaker 1 (14:30):
I'm glad that you enjoyed this season. I really wish
that I could.
Speaker 2 (14:34):
I know I could, Yeah, you could? You know?
Speaker 1 (14:37):
Such your boundaries? I got a boundary D and D
and love Island. Those are her two boundaries. Yeah, okay,
moving right along? Are you watching the Valley. Yeah, kind
of dark.
Speaker 2 (14:46):
It's hard to watch.
Speaker 3 (14:47):
I honestly am like not I just needed to be over.
I don't like any of them. Yeah, I like christ
and Dodie.
Speaker 2 (14:55):
That's like a stretch. I'm gonna I like her. Guy.
Speaker 1 (14:58):
I think that they're giving Danny a storyline to project
off of themselves.
Speaker 2 (15:03):
I agree, Like, I don't.
Speaker 3 (15:05):
Understand don't understand the Dan anything and why he's being
targeted villainized. I'm like, the poor guy has apologized a
million times, probably over a silly little thing that happened,
and he probably felt comfortable with you because he probably
also knows that you're not attracted to men. So it's like,
this isn't anything malicious, or this isn't anything two or
three times, genuinely, it wasn't like a willing met with
(15:27):
her separately, He met with her and her girlfriend. It
has been in front of everyone, Like, I mean, he's
just done been on his apology tour for her.
Speaker 1 (15:36):
And I just feel bad for him because he's just
trying to be a good guy and he just messed up.
And now everyone who on this show is taking shots
all the time and drinking and always you know, drunk,
are putting all that on him and like making him
seem like he's the Yeah, he's the villain when they're
all laming him drunk exactly.
Speaker 2 (15:58):
It's like so hypocritical. It is very hypocritical.
Speaker 3 (16:00):
And I'm like, this guy is a seems like a
great husband and also has like three to five hours
and kids and one hundred children under the age of
two and they were all just born, and maybe he
just wants to have a drink and he just needs
by the way.
Speaker 2 (16:18):
I get that, Like would Michael and I have a babysitter.
Speaker 3 (16:21):
I'm having a couple of comment a couple of cocktails,
and I'm like, I don't have to worry right now.
Speaker 2 (16:26):
Right let me not worry about my kid for a second.
I don't want to worry. I don't want to worry.
So I hate that storyline. Janet is like so annoying.
Speaker 3 (16:35):
She just nick says things that I don't think she
realizes you can't take back.
Speaker 2 (16:40):
You can't take that back.
Speaker 1 (16:42):
Also, like Nick Viel said it kind of perfectly, he
was like, we know nothing about her. All she does
is talk about other people and like try and really
good point other storylines, But what do we know about Janet.
Speaker 3 (16:55):
Yeah, that's actually nothing really good point. At most I
learned about her was actually on his podcast when she
when he finally was able to ask her questions about
like where are you from? Like where does your upbringing?
Like I actually don't know anything about her from the show. Yeah,
but just there to stir the pot. She is and
and she stirs it. She does.
Speaker 1 (17:16):
Can't stand her what else I mean, can't stand Jack's
I think he needs to be off our television.
Speaker 2 (17:20):
I think so too.
Speaker 1 (17:21):
I think we're gone too far. What's the word, perpetuating
the problem. Yeah, and like Gable, we are just enabling
this for Brittany. But also Brittany, why would you tell
Jacques that Kristen Dodi got engaged?
Speaker 2 (17:33):
The playing dumb?
Speaker 3 (17:36):
I just.
Speaker 2 (17:38):
So long, I totally forgot. I'm like, I told her
that you're trying to divorce this man. Yeah you know
what he didn't know? Yeah, So yeah, I think it's
just everyone is.
Speaker 3 (17:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (17:50):
I was really proud of Nia though, when she said
to Janet or she goes. Jana was like, I had
to say it, that's what it is. And she's like,
you had to or you chose to.
Speaker 2 (17:59):
Yea.
Speaker 3 (18:00):
She is getting with him, and I'm proud of her.
She is just such a nice She's not going to
be walked all over.
Speaker 2 (18:06):
But she's not. Yeah, don't take her kindness as weakness. Fortunately.
I know Jesse is a terrible human being, but he's
cracking me up. I know he seems like he's the worst.
Speaker 3 (18:16):
Like I would not want to be going through a
divorce with him either, But he is good television, good television.
Speaker 2 (18:21):
Yeah, he's like kind of just in the background.
Speaker 3 (18:23):
He doesn't have a significant other right now, so he's
not like love Birdie with anyone or clinging with anyone
like all.
Speaker 2 (18:28):
The rest of the gross couples are. He's just kind
of like, I'm just here. He's commentary, right he is.
And I think him and Aaron seem to like each other.
Speaker 3 (18:38):
So I don't know what the problem is unless you
think Jesse's like keep your enemies closer.
Speaker 2 (18:42):
Oh for sure he is.
Speaker 3 (18:42):
Okay, Yeah, yeah he's doing Yeah, he knows what he's doing.
But yeah, at least they can get along and Jesse's.
Speaker 2 (18:48):
Not like fighting him. I just think Michelle is so boring.
I do too. It's sad.
Speaker 3 (18:52):
I again, I'm sure she's a great He's probably a
great person, and that's why she's not boring.
Speaker 2 (18:56):
She shouldn't be exactly. We don't need great people, but
we need But.
Speaker 3 (19:01):
Then there's like this mix of like I said, like
it's hard to watch it because I don't like anyone.
There's a difference between being boring because you're just kind
of normal, or being entertaining and funny.
Speaker 2 (19:15):
Look like funny what wippi guy? What's his name? Zach Zach?
Speaker 3 (19:19):
Like he's not necessarily my favorite either, but he at
least is a little comic relief. Yeah, you know, and
he's not super problematic, like he's he's just like kind
of there and he's like spitting funny things here and there.
Speaker 2 (19:32):
But like everyone else, it's just it's just too much
yea drama.
Speaker 1 (19:37):
I hope that it turns around, because I do like
the concept of the television show, you know what I mean? Yeah,
Like I like the concept of like people in our
generation like with and like living life. But it's just
a little too dark to continue down this path. I
think they need a little switch up for sure, Like
(19:57):
Laala coming in I think is actually yeah, what they need,
I think, if I'm being honest. Okay, next, Okay, Miami,
Miami Rapatis of Miami.
Speaker 2 (20:05):
I've always loved Yes, I just love the women. They're fun,
they're fun, they're spunky, and I love the scenery. Sometimes
it's just out of touch. Yeah, and that's why we
watch Housewife exactly. There's so out of touch. Lisa and
Larsa kill me. It's two people who.
Speaker 1 (20:24):
Are so selfish and obsessed with themselves, trying to take
or trying to get the other one to take accountability
when both of them have never done that in their
entire lives.
Speaker 2 (20:35):
It's that's true.
Speaker 1 (20:36):
It's the worst two people to go against each other
for sure.
Speaker 2 (20:41):
And I'm just gonna say it, I don't like Larsa.
I'm not a fan of Larsa either.
Speaker 3 (20:46):
I think like it's really ironic that she is calling
out Jody for being a guy that you know, it's
just kind of trying to hang out with what's his
face for cloud?
Speaker 2 (20:58):
That girl is your emma.
Speaker 1 (21:00):
Literally what she did with the Kardashian exacally, I'm like,
that is, that's what she's doing with Stephanie.
Speaker 2 (21:04):
She just wants to be on that jet.
Speaker 3 (21:05):
So it's so and Lisa is you know, it was
a weird comment but it is funny that she just
kind of says it as it is.
Speaker 2 (21:12):
She's like, I want to be friends with people with
yachts and boats.
Speaker 3 (21:15):
Yes, or he's not jetsmith, and it is very weird
to say.
Speaker 2 (21:19):
And you know, but I can't say I want the
same at least she's not being fake. Can't say I
don't want the same thing. And I can't say I
don't want friends.
Speaker 3 (21:28):
Larsa's just being sneaky about it, and she's like, I'm
going to befriend you because you have all these things.
Speaker 1 (21:33):
But yeah, that I will say. Lisa's sending that text
of her dad in the casket. That's unhinged behavior, unhinged.
Speaker 2 (21:44):
No, Lisa's unhinged. That's insane behavior.
Speaker 1 (21:48):
Yeah, your dead dad in the casket, that's insane. I
just like can't with them in general. I am liking
the new girl Stephanie.
Speaker 2 (21:57):
Yeah, like her too. I like that she.
Speaker 3 (21:59):
I don't understand how no one has talked to Lisa
about being late before. When Marcia was like.
Speaker 1 (22:05):
Well that it's insane and a half hour called her
out for something that we've all been thinking for fifteen years, Like,
you guys have never in fifteen years told Lisa that
she's late and that it's rude. It's not just like
she's thirty minutes, Like yeah, two and a half hours late,
that is rude.
Speaker 3 (22:20):
I would have literally gotten myself my own cab by then.
I'm like, I'm not waiting for this girl. She needs
to get her own cap exactly. Actually, Stephanie's pet peeve
is my pet.
Speaker 2 (22:27):
Peeve.
Speaker 3 (22:27):
People wasting my time. And that's like if Lisa were
to even like cancel like that, I hate that too,
I'd be like, great, I wasted my time for you
to not show up at all, like you anybody who
thinks again, like she said that their time is more
valuable than mine, like our time is equally as valuable
and we should be utilizing it properly and you just
(22:49):
need to be mindful.
Speaker 1 (22:51):
But did you hear my stomach just then? No, it
was digesting my diet coke. Wow, you're watching on YouTube
if she should be? And it was like literal bubbles.
I was like, yeah, I like the new girl, Stephanie.
I think she is so like rich that that's what
(23:12):
we want to see in our housewives, you know what
I mean? Like we want Yes, I'm not gonna I'm
not gonna be on my private jet going to pick up.
Speaker 2 (23:21):
A dog, yeah, an hour away. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (23:24):
Yeah, I want that. I want unattainable. I want just
like so rich and stupid me too. And that's what
the original recipe of housewives kind of was kind of
like changed over time. Yeah, but I love that they're
going back to the original recipe with the newbie.
Speaker 2 (23:41):
I kind of missed shocked her in Miami. I miss
her too. I liked her. I like her a lot.
Speaker 3 (23:45):
I'm sad that she's not there, but maybe next year
she'll come back, Like now, you know, she's got her
baby and like everything, and maybe she'll feel better. But
I especially think Miami needs to be that, like it
needs to be this ludicrous out of yeh, ludacrous, like
totally out of the realm of you know, reality reality. Yeah, so,
(24:07):
because that's just I feel like that's what Miami is.
Whether whether it's authentic or not, it's probably not, but
like it, you know, everyone is so flashy and everything,
and I'm not looking for.
Speaker 2 (24:19):
Like a down to earth person.
Speaker 1 (24:21):
No, I'm looking for someone that I cannot relate to exactly.
Speaker 2 (24:24):
I'm like, wow, this is wild.
Speaker 1 (24:26):
Yeah, so I that's giving that for me. I, to
be honest, can't stand Julia Mey neither.
Speaker 2 (24:33):
I'm kind of on Gertie's side right in this.
Speaker 1 (24:35):
She's yappy to me like she reminds me on television
at least. I'm sure she's great in real life, but
like a little chihuahua, like she's just like yeah, she just.
Speaker 3 (24:47):
Kind of seems like she's gone through some stuff that
it's not it's unrelated to Gerty, and she's taking it
out on Gerty. And I don't know what the deal
is with this whole You invited her on a to
an event and then Gerty made it about her.
Speaker 2 (25:00):
What, like, you actually go to an event?
Speaker 3 (25:02):
What is she just gonna sit there and like stand
behind you all night? No, she's gonna network with I
bet she knew so many people.
Speaker 2 (25:08):
She does events. She's a celebrity and she does events.
Speaker 3 (25:13):
She's in that space, Like, I'm sure she knew multiple vendors.
I'm sure she knew multiple people that attended the air, Like,
what do you expect from her to.
Speaker 2 (25:21):
Just sit there?
Speaker 3 (25:22):
Don't I don't really understand what's going on, And I
don't know if Julia's feeling a little insecure about that
or what happened. But I hate to call people that,
but I've just something's smelling weird.
Speaker 2 (25:33):
Something's weird.
Speaker 1 (25:34):
And also it seems as if Julia's trying to create
a storyline for herself that's actually not that dramatic, Like
it's not that deep.
Speaker 3 (25:41):
Yeah, it was just interesting that Martina like played along
with it too, like she was she ignored Gertie and
I don't know if she's just doing that to support
her wife, but like, but Martina wasn't.
Speaker 2 (25:51):
That is not a drama girl.
Speaker 1 (25:53):
But if you listen to how Julia was talking to
Martina at that shopping or whatever, she was putting all
the blame on Gerty and taking zero accountability for throwing
a literal drink in her face.
Speaker 2 (26:05):
That is crazy.
Speaker 1 (26:05):
I think he had Martina known or seeing the footage prior,
I think she would have been like, dude, what.
Speaker 2 (26:12):
Yeah, I think you're right, that's true.
Speaker 1 (26:14):
She was now listen. I also can't stand Gerty. I
think she is so dramatic. I think she is very
dramatic too, Like the.
Speaker 3 (26:22):
Way she talks, the way she like, it's beyond just
like cultural.
Speaker 2 (26:25):
I feel like I feel like it is very like
attention seeking. And I love her husband.
Speaker 3 (26:31):
Love her husband. He seems like a gem. He seems
like a gem. I just wish I just don't.
Speaker 1 (26:35):
I think she seems like someone who truly turns it
on for cameras, Like I would like to see what
she's like not on camera.
Speaker 3 (26:42):
Yeah, because that's a good point, like yes, whoa And
it makes you wonder is she like that? And because
me and her husband seems like totally fine with the.
Speaker 2 (26:54):
Way she acts.
Speaker 3 (26:55):
I mean, he obviously loves her, he loves her to death,
but like, I don't know, I feel like it would
be a lot for her to be like that, because
that is that is like that would be totally extreme
ends of the book. If she was different than how
she is again, you know what I mean, Like then
people would really be calling her out and be like,
you are not acting like yourself.
Speaker 2 (27:15):
That's true. So maybe that's just who is like that?
Speaker 1 (27:18):
Yeah, it's just maybe it's just so mind boggling to
me because I've never met anyone like that.
Speaker 3 (27:22):
I know, she's definitely like one of a kind. Yeah
she is one, But yeah, I think she can be dramatic.
But I also just think in that situation with Julia,
it can be it seems like something's just not right. Well,
I'm totally team Gerdy in the situation.
Speaker 2 (27:34):
Love marisolve Ma. She's good comic relief. She's good. She's
not really want to stir up hot.
Speaker 3 (27:40):
Well she stirs upot in a way, but like she's
not she's not trying to ruffle feathers in a rude way.
Speaker 2 (27:46):
Like she's not very direct. She is just.
Speaker 3 (27:49):
Kind of flippant with you know, oh yeah, so and so,
you know whatever. She's she's just there for a good time.
Speaker 1 (27:56):
She plays a good friend of because she knows she's
not right. Yeah, official cast.
Speaker 2 (28:00):
Same with Kiki. Yeah, it's crazy.
Speaker 3 (28:02):
Kek's not an official cast member, but they're both are
my favorites.
Speaker 2 (28:05):
And they're both on it way more than I know
anyone else. Did you hear that? Oh it's the mail?
Oh my god, it scared me.
Speaker 1 (28:11):
I know, was he chatting to me? He might be
like singing or something. Yeah, So I like Miami this season.
I got in grack me too. I feel like, is
there anything else that we're missing? No, just really hope
that Alexi and Todd. No, she's just your classic, like
gonna keep she seeks approvalin and if anytime he gives
(28:32):
her attention, she's gonna take it.
Speaker 2 (28:34):
That's sad. I really like Alexia.
Speaker 3 (28:37):
Okay, So with Doctor Nicole, she left because she also
I heard it's like she left because she accused mer
Soul of hiring the private investigator to follow her around.
Speaker 2 (28:48):
You know that. No that came out i'd think on
the reunion, but maybe I did. Maybe it's been a
long time. It's been a long time.
Speaker 3 (28:56):
Yeah, but she also had just had her baby, and like, yeah,
I like all of that stuff. But it was also
she accused Mary Soul of hiring a privy in best here,
So I'm curious about that too, Like what happened there?
Speaker 2 (29:09):
I means Mary sool do that Maybe she might have.
Speaker 3 (29:12):
It'd be a weird thing to do accuse someone of
if you didn't know for sure that that's what.
Speaker 1 (29:15):
Nicole seems like a fairly like good head on her shoulders, Yes,
kind of person. Yes, I mean she's a literal doctor,
so you got to be intelligent.
Speaker 2 (29:23):
Yeah, maybe, But she is making a cameo this season.
She's got to be. She is on the previews. Oh
she is. She's making a cameo. So she's in one
of the episodes. Oh, maybe maybe she'll address the p
I thing. I hope so.
Speaker 3 (29:35):
I hope so too. But she said this person followed
her and tried to dig up dirt on her.
Speaker 2 (29:40):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (29:41):
Wow, wow, I'm in Okay, Bachelor in Paradise, your mother
in law's calling you?
Speaker 2 (29:48):
Yeah she is, but I'm on D and D, so
that's weird. Does she are you on DN D?
Speaker 3 (29:53):
Well?
Speaker 2 (29:53):
You know what actually is one?
Speaker 3 (29:55):
I have certain people on favorites, so I think actually
if she's on her favorite, yeah, I think if someone's
on a favorite, they allow it to come through, right.
Speaker 2 (30:03):
Yeah. Oh yeah.
Speaker 3 (30:04):
She only called once, so it wasn't like a multiple
thing where I was like, oh my gosh, she's an emergency.
Speaker 1 (30:09):
Yeah, well, if you need to call her back, we
could you do it on camera. Bachelor in Paradise. It's
fast and I'm excited me too. I love they You
can tell they tired. They tired. They hired a completely
different production team and I love it.
Speaker 2 (30:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (30:27):
It's so much better, so much better the way it's filmed,
the like the confessionals are so much better. Yeah, you
just like I feel like you get to see, it
feels less choppy, like yeah, it feels like you can
really get to know their personalities.
Speaker 2 (30:41):
Where sometimes even though Bachelor and Bachelor and Paradise have
this like unwritten rule of making every episode three hours long,
like we would watch we used to watch three hours,
and I would still be like, what happened? What happened? Yeah,
there was.
Speaker 1 (30:56):
No personality, no plot, no nothing where Like now it
is three hours, and that is still annoying to me.
Speaker 2 (31:02):
That was crazy.
Speaker 3 (31:03):
I didn't expect that for it is always going to
be three hours, I guess, so, I guess so, but
you know what love feel like three hours?
Speaker 2 (31:11):
I will say, like, it feels shorter. It feels shorter,
And I think.
Speaker 3 (31:14):
It's because they actually are packing like so much stuff
into it that you're constantly moving, like we are constantly
on there's constantly something happening, and we're moving along with
the storyline so that it really doesn't feel like you've
been sitting here and watching the same person just stare
at the other person.
Speaker 2 (31:32):
For agree, wait a minute.
Speaker 1 (31:33):
And it's not so like scripted in formulaic where like
you know, they're on dates and like they go through
the pattern of Bachelor formula like oh I really like you,
let's trauma bond and then let's I say I'm falling
for you, and then yeah, you know, it doesn't feel
like that. It feels very more natural, like I'm seeing
their personalities. I'm liking the people too.
Speaker 3 (31:56):
And I think that the switch up with the location
it probably helped because everyone's out of their comfort zone.
Like people who have returned and people who are there
for the first time are like.
Speaker 2 (32:08):
What do we do?
Speaker 3 (32:09):
You know, like people who were maybe never at the
other location but have seen all the seasons and been like, Okay,
this is what I do. And that's kind of like, yeah,
you know the formula, like you said, like it's easy
to kind of get locked in and watch these shows
and then be like, Okay, that's what I got to
do when I go there.
Speaker 2 (32:25):
But for everyone it's like this.
Speaker 3 (32:27):
Is totally new, and I like the new location. I
just really don't want the Olds to come in the way.
I don't want the Olds to come in. Oh, thing's
gonna throw wrench in the whole thing. I'm like, why
are they like? It's good how it is right now?
I don't fully and I until right now.
Speaker 1 (32:44):
That that was gonna happen by the time that this
episode comes out on Wednesday. There is an episode tonight,
and I think that's when they introduced the Olds.
Speaker 2 (32:51):
They might have already come in.
Speaker 3 (32:53):
No, wait, there's an episode tonight. Yeah, they are doing
two this week, Monday and Tuesday. Better gonna be three hours.
They're trying to kill us. It's gonna be three hours, girl.
But you know what if you can commit to what
isn't Love Island like every day? Yeah, and it's like
an hour and a half episodes, yeah, hour hour and
a half.
Speaker 2 (33:07):
Yeah, so really you're equals the times. But what was
I gonna say?
Speaker 1 (33:12):
I don't think that they should mix the Goldens, and
I might like totally change my mind once they come
in and I seem but so true.
Speaker 2 (33:19):
I just love what they do with it.
Speaker 1 (33:20):
I think they can do Goldens in Paradise, but I
think it should be two separate shows. Yeah, Like, I
don't think it should be intermingling. That's weird, confused, it's weird.
Speaker 2 (33:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (33:30):
Plus I think like for Paradise, for the format of Paradise, Like, honestly,
I think that they should make Bachelor Bachelorette only oldens.
Speaker 2 (33:39):
Those are you are ready for marriage.
Speaker 1 (33:41):
I totally agree with you and know what they're looking for.
And I think Bachelor in Paradise needs to.
Speaker 3 (33:47):
Just be ye young yeah, and I and I think
that because the way that this new production style is
going is it seems like they're finally taking a page
out of other people's books when it comes to reality television,
like even the challenges they're adding in and.
Speaker 1 (34:03):
It's a little more like edgy, yeah than it used
to be. And that's good, Like you need to get
with the times.
Speaker 2 (34:09):
Yeah, we're not just going here to propose to somebody. Literally, yeah,
it's like yeah.
Speaker 1 (34:14):
So I think that if they're going to continue down
this route, which I do think they will, it should
just be split. But you know, maybe I'll bite my
tongue and I'll we'll see tonight, we'll say it back.
Speaker 2 (34:25):
We shall see.
Speaker 1 (34:26):
But I did make a list of all the cast members,
oh perfect, because I think that will help.
Speaker 2 (34:30):
So we don't like look at our phone because I
can't with names. I can hardly remember my friend's names.
Speaker 1 (34:36):
So I think we can just go through like each
person or each couple because of you, and like talk.
Speaker 2 (34:43):
About our feels.
Speaker 1 (34:43):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, Okay, Okay, well, first, a new person
is hand around oh God, which yeah, kind of random
random so far I haven't seen you are there. Yeah,
I don't care either. I'm indifferent. I think they just
wanted more viewers. Shah Brown has like two and a
half a million followers on Instagram, So just a vacation
in Kostrica and not a blamer. I would be whatever,
(35:03):
public relations or whatever. She is so true.
Speaker 2 (35:07):
Okay, So we've got Justin and Lexi. I love Justin.
I've always loved Justin. I really love Justin.
Speaker 1 (35:13):
I think he's genuine. I think he's funny. I think
he is who he is on TV, the same person
he is not on TV. And I like that Lexi.
Lexi's boring to me. She's just kind of a square square.
Speaker 3 (35:24):
I don't's what's so weird to me that Justin really
likes her so much when he was with Susie where
they've got along so well because of their sense of humor. Yeah,
and like they were both so funny and they're dry. Like,
I just don't know how you go from that. I'm like,
maybe there must be something that we're missing, yea Flexi
that we're just not seeing.
Speaker 1 (35:41):
I think the Lexi thing, Like I understand where she's
coming from, where she's like if he's not over his
ex and it was a very public relationship, like I
don't really want to go deep with him, but he
seemed to have made his.
Speaker 2 (35:51):
Intentions pretty clear.
Speaker 1 (35:53):
Yeah, And that's where I feel bad for Justin because
I'm like, no, it seems like you're just assuming that
he's not over his when he is not the type
of guy to come in and be and just like
date around, Like he put his eggs all in Lexi's basket. Yeah,
for lack of a better term, and she doesn't trust that,
which makes me sad for him. I No, I agree,
because I think he is a good catch and I
(36:15):
think he is looking I genuinely think he is looking
for like a long term relationship.
Speaker 3 (36:18):
And that's the thing is, like I understand her concerns
with being second choice in her previous relationships, Like I
understand totally concerns at the same time, but what he's
displayed to her, like he said, is what she's looking for. Yeah,
So like he's given her no reason to doubt him, right,
So I totally think both things can be true that
(36:40):
like he can have her concerns, but also he's trying
to show you that, like you can trust him.
Speaker 2 (36:45):
Yeah. So that being said, though, I kind of want
him and Susie to get back together. I know.
Speaker 1 (36:49):
I also don't understand why they broke up. Was that
ever announced or who broke up with who?
Speaker 2 (36:55):
I want to say it was mutual.
Speaker 1 (36:58):
Because they both seemed when they had that one on
one top. Yeah, they both seemed sad. So I couldn't
tell like who had the upper hand in the breakup.
Speaker 3 (37:07):
I know, But I'm just worried right now because Okay,
we need to preface also, like we are.
Speaker 2 (37:12):
We have watched Monday night's episode, but we didn't finish.
Oh yeah, we didn't watch the Rose ceremony, so we
added the road ceremony.
Speaker 3 (37:19):
Don't know who's gone home? And and Jesse did say
four girls are going to go home? Yeah, and predicted.
Speaker 2 (37:25):
I don't, right, I just don't. I don't think that.
I don't know who's gonna choose Susie. Jeremy, No, he's not.
Speaker 3 (37:32):
You don't think so Bailey, Bailey has a hole. There
was like a whole thing with her crying, what if.
Speaker 1 (37:38):
Justin chooses Susie just to keep her on the show
because you know they do that. Yeah, they do that,
where like if someone's not vibing with someone.
Speaker 2 (37:44):
Like because you think that he would, he kind of got.
Speaker 1 (37:46):
Broken up with But I feel like like she genuinely
was like, let's put a pause on this.
Speaker 2 (37:50):
Yeah, that's a really good point.
Speaker 3 (37:52):
Maybe he would, because I truly am like, I don't
know who would pick her at this point.
Speaker 2 (37:56):
I love Jeremy and Bailey together. I do too, but
I can tell he's not into her endo really yeah wait,
I thought that kiss was so passionate.
Speaker 1 (38:04):
They're kissing is great, but yeah, but he can't seem
he keeps saying, I'm keeping my options open, like it's
day four.
Speaker 2 (38:10):
I don't want to be just Bailey. I think that's
fine though.
Speaker 3 (38:13):
I think they really like it. I think they're both
super chill and cool together. Like even now, she was like,
totally fine, go on, I do with Susie. Like, I'm
not gonna be the jealous one over here. Hint hint, Yeah,
what's her name?
Speaker 2 (38:26):
Zoe? Zoe? I can't with Zoe. I can't.
Speaker 3 (38:29):
I'm not gonna be the jealous type. I'm not gonna
tell you what to do again. We're only four days in. Like,
he handled that so well, you know, it's like a queen.
And that also just makes probably him feel so much
more attracted during totally of like.
Speaker 2 (38:41):
Why are you not so open arms? Yeah, like don't
you not want me to go? Because they want he want?
Speaker 1 (38:46):
Yeah, you know when I started a fight a little
bit and she's like, I thought she handled that great.
Speaker 3 (38:51):
Yeah, So I don't know, I really really hope for
that because they both seemed just super chill.
Speaker 1 (38:56):
Yeah, I think they'd be a great couple. I just
don't know that he in. Yeah, they're both not as
in as maybe they aren't both and chill. He seems
to be really into Susie.
Speaker 2 (39:06):
But it almost seems real, like they're chill and it
seems real, you know, other than Jess and.
Speaker 3 (39:13):
Spencer where Jess right, Yeah, I'm like, y'all are way
too locked in. This is like love Bobby, Like it's
just too much.
Speaker 2 (39:19):
But I kind of love them together. I like them together.
I really like Jess.
Speaker 3 (39:23):
I don't know Spencer that well, Like I could care
less about him, but I think she's super fun and
I think she's a big catch too. Like I think
a lot of guys would like her and would go
for her if she wasn't so closed off with Spencer.
Speaker 1 (39:36):
Maybe you are because my stomach he's making noises, but
I don't feel hungry.
Speaker 3 (39:39):
Maybe it's just rejecting your diet coke. Any die code
sip it though, it's like, gir, I.
Speaker 2 (39:44):
Love diet coke. No, it's so good.
Speaker 1 (39:49):
Yeah, I agree that Jess and Spencer kind of did
close off.
Speaker 2 (39:55):
That's always that always happens.
Speaker 1 (39:57):
Think about Joe and Serena, that those couples always make it.
It's kind of like when you know you know, yeah,
it's true, Tanner and Jade, Joe and Serena. Who else
did that? Hannah and Dylan and they're all married now.
I kind of see them long.
Speaker 2 (40:12):
Like I could see them long term, totally, like he's
getting married. The fun part in the relationship. He's a square.
I don't think he's a square. I think he's hilarious.
I don't know. I think he's goofying. He's goofy. He's
quirky and goofy, and that's fun. I guess it's just
not my cup of tea.
Speaker 1 (40:26):
Yeah, he's not your cup of tea. I mean, I
don't know that I date him, but he's fun. Yeah,
and I think they'll be engaged. I'm pretty sure I
think they will too. They get engaged at the end.
They might be the only one engaged, but I do
think they get engaged. Now, let's go to Zoe and Brian.
I don't understand how anyone is attracted to Brian.
Speaker 2 (40:42):
Can I just say that?
Speaker 3 (40:44):
Like?
Speaker 2 (40:44):
Is that so rude? I know it's rude, but like
he's not it? Okay, I agree, I agree.
Speaker 3 (40:51):
I don't think he's that cute, but maybe he has
like a swag in person that we just are missing.
Speaker 2 (40:57):
But I'm confused. I am not team Zoe here, No
she is.
Speaker 3 (41:03):
But the producers were being team Zoey showing their conversation
and then being like.
Speaker 2 (41:10):
Two hours later when they had private time together.
Speaker 3 (41:13):
The producers flashing back trying to make Zoe. But I
I am not team Zoey for it. No, you can't
trick me production.
Speaker 1 (41:20):
I've been watching too many years, that's right, So I okay, listen,
I I gotta.
Speaker 3 (41:27):
Go back to the Brian of it all. No shade,
but he's not my type.
Speaker 1 (41:31):
He seems like sweaty and slimy, and like he seems
I agree, he seems like he gives off. I'm a player,
So all these women who are looking for relationships, why
are you drawn to him?
Speaker 3 (41:43):
It doesn't make me funny? To me, how was he
getting two women? I was collnvinced he was going to
be gone night one.
Speaker 2 (41:49):
Yeah, but Zoe did. Yeah, but Zoe loved him.
Speaker 1 (41:53):
And now Zoe to me, is so the opposite of
how you need to play Paradise as.
Speaker 2 (41:59):
She is clingy ed, he is jealous. Now she's mop.
No one wants to be around. He's dramatic. Paradi supposed
to be fun. I actually saw her supposed to be fun.
So we're supposed to be fun. Literally, we're supposed to
be fun, supposed to be fun for that show to
come back.
Speaker 3 (42:13):
But with even on what was her Bachelor Grant season,
I thought she was the same way.
Speaker 1 (42:19):
I thought she was whiny. I agree, I thought she
was kind of moby. I just think she's kind of like, yeah,
so I don't really stand why she's so beloved.
Speaker 2 (42:31):
Yeah, I don't know. I don't get these producers. I
don't know. I think she goes home. Do you be
one of those things where someone gives over your rose there's.
Speaker 3 (42:39):
No way who would who would keep her? That's why,
Like I'm really trying to think of all the men and.
Speaker 2 (42:45):
Who they would pay. There's no way.
Speaker 3 (42:46):
Zoey's definitely going home. Bryan's speaking Parisa, Bryan speaking Parice.
Justin's picking either Lexi or Susie in my opinion, or Jill. Yes,
because Emma Jill are bros. I know she's she is,
but I think he would choose Susie to be here
over over Jill.
Speaker 2 (42:59):
I agree, just for the drama. I think prodicture for
the drama, I know, you know, I don't know, just
to keep the peace. Yeah, but then yeah, I just
can't stand Zoe. I kind of want to gone me too.
I think she'll I think she'll be gone. Yeah. And
then we've got Allie Joe.
Speaker 3 (43:14):
Allie Joe's and like she's kind of hitting it off
with Dale.
Speaker 2 (43:18):
She's being very forward with Dale. Very and good for her,
but I think that Dale is pretty lockdown on cat. Yeah,
and also good for Dale on like turning to Zoe
down that was very smart.
Speaker 3 (43:30):
Yeah, you know, I bet he her overheard Brian to
upbrit Bryan said something to of like she's very clingy,
so like, I'm sure you know word has gone around
to the bulling.
Speaker 2 (43:40):
Oh no, it's not gonna do it. Oh there, it
is so weird, I know. But yeah, so I think he.
Speaker 3 (43:45):
Probably was like, I'm gonna take a page out of
this book Dale's and make sure I cut things off
ahead of time.
Speaker 2 (43:51):
And you know, he was like, oh, kiss her, see
what the vibe is. But no, I but it was hilarious.
The diming, like she said, the timing was ridiculous.
Speaker 3 (43:59):
Yeah, when he's like, oh, I noticed that you've been
like sad or like oh, and by the way, I
don't want to pursue you.
Speaker 2 (44:06):
I'm not in it.
Speaker 1 (44:07):
I kind of liked the This is going to sound
like hypocritical because I don't. I didn't like it on
Love Island because I did watch the part where they
make out with everyone.
Speaker 2 (44:15):
Yeah, but when they.
Speaker 3 (44:15):
Make out, it's grow gross. It's not classy, it's disgusting.
There's always food involved there. Why in each other's Why
is there always food involved? I don't want to see
you make out with ketchup and mustard. I'm disgusted. I
thought the kissing with food. I thought the kissing. I
thought it was cute. I thought it was well done.
Speaker 2 (44:34):
I thought so too.
Speaker 3 (44:35):
I thought the swiping was Yeah, it was cute, it
was great, it was good.
Speaker 2 (44:39):
They did a great job. And those are the kind
of things that Bachelor and Paradise they needed to do exactly.
They don't just need to be hanging out by a pool.
I know they never really did game. They never did games.
That's not saying they taking pages like they have done
one game where it's like around the bomb fire, tell
a Truth. It's like truth or er. Yeah, exactly and stupid.
But this was great. Yeah, great, Yeah, I liked it. Okay,
(44:59):
then who else is there? Who? Oh? Who else is there?
Speaker 3 (45:02):
There?
Speaker 2 (45:03):
There's tons of people.
Speaker 1 (45:04):
Okay, So justin Spencer Endgame, Jeremy and Bailey, we talked
about them.
Speaker 3 (45:08):
Ale and Kat Yeah, I think they're I think Dale's
pretty locked in with her, but but he.
Speaker 2 (45:13):
I think he's exploring.
Speaker 1 (45:15):
He's like one hundred percent locked in, but I think
he's like eighty percent cat.
Speaker 2 (45:18):
Yeah, like I think he'll choose her over Ellie Joe.
Speaker 3 (45:20):
I think Ali Joe's going home for sure, and I
think that Zoe's going home.
Speaker 2 (45:24):
Yeah, Ali Joe and Zoe.
Speaker 1 (45:26):
Yeah, Okay, then there's Alex and Jonathan.
Speaker 3 (45:29):
Okay, so this is where Jonathan is really confusing me
because he's gone on everyone's date, I know, and he
is so sweet, but he's everyone's friend, he's everyone's bro.
And that's where like his his rose is what's really
confusing from me. I could totally see him. Who did
he go on a date with Ali Joe?
Speaker 2 (45:49):
Ali Joe? No, he's not gonna He's not gonna do that.
Speaker 3 (45:52):
And this is where I'm like, who is gonna Like
is he gonna pick Jill or is he gonna pick Taylor?
Speaker 2 (46:00):
Alex Alex Taylor, Taylor? I don't even there's a but.
Speaker 3 (46:05):
Alex and I haven't watched I haven't watched Jonathan State
with Jill yet. But Jill is so funny, and I
just don't think that there's much chemistry with Alex and Jonathan.
Speaker 2 (46:15):
I don't think they're showing much chemistry.
Speaker 1 (46:18):
And I think it's because Alex is genuinely awkward in
front of these cameras.
Speaker 3 (46:21):
Yes, but I don't think that's good. Like, if you're
awkward like that in Paradise, you're going to go.
Speaker 2 (46:26):
On I know.
Speaker 3 (46:27):
I kind of love arismatic, like I love her as
a person. But I just don't think Paradise is here.
Speaker 1 (46:31):
Spot then I don't think TV's her, So I don't
think TV is and I that's why I love her,
I know, because I think she's like probably fun, hang
and cool and like totally someone that you could be
friends with on the outside world.
Speaker 3 (46:42):
And that being said, I do think if the cameras
weren't around, her and Jonathan are good that when it hits,
when the cameras are there and she's like having to
put on like she gets awkward. She's like never looking
at him in his face, I know, is never looking
at him, I know, and he's there staring at her
and she's like looking straight ahead.
Speaker 1 (47:01):
Like so I guess my hope is that she kind
of turns it around, because I really do think her
and Jonathan could be a really good and fun and
cute match for Bachelor Nation.
Speaker 2 (47:09):
Yeah, I think so because I love Jonathan.
Speaker 1 (47:11):
Yeah, I've always liked I liked him on gen Z's
in a lot, I think.
Speaker 3 (47:14):
But Jonathan Jill, like, I think both of them are
very similar Alex and Jill.
Speaker 2 (47:18):
They are. They're very perky, funny, like cool girl like cute.
Speaker 3 (47:23):
He likes he does like that, and so I'm like either,
I like both of them for Jonathan, so hopefully he
chooses one of them.
Speaker 2 (47:31):
He did say he loved kissing Alex in the Kissing
Booth exactly, but Alex said that it was awkward as hell.
But I think she's awkward as hell.
Speaker 3 (47:38):
Yeah yeah, yeah. But then she did say that he's
a good kisser. Yeah yeah, So I think it was
probably good. I think it's awkward because she's making it awkward.
I wish you would kind of let.
Speaker 2 (47:47):
Loose a little bit. I agree, But I do love Jill,
and I think Jill is so freaking funny, funny. All
of her little like ism.
Speaker 3 (47:55):
Home because she's so funny, her itms are iconic.
Speaker 2 (47:59):
I agree.
Speaker 1 (48:00):
Her and Justin I think would be a great match.
Oh that would be cute because they when they like split.
Speaker 2 (48:05):
Off because they knew each other.
Speaker 1 (48:06):
They were cracking me up, cracking me up too, Like
they have very similar personalities.
Speaker 2 (48:11):
I just think he's she's a friend zone to him.
Speaker 1 (48:14):
Yeah, and I think it's yeah, I know it's ever
gonna be interested in Justin.
Speaker 2 (48:19):
I don't. I think they'd be a cute match.
Speaker 1 (48:21):
Yeah, I kind of hope she stays for like the fun,
but I do want to see if Alex and Jonathan
could make it.
Speaker 2 (48:26):
Yeah. I don't want Alex to go home either, I know,
but she's just kind of awkward she is onward. Yeah,
I just want more jillisms all.
Speaker 1 (48:33):
In all, though, I think, like prior to this season airing,
I was like, I don't really know if I'm gonna
vibe with this cast.
Speaker 2 (48:39):
I really like the cast we too, like. I think
they have a good kid. They're pulling in some good people.
Speaker 3 (48:43):
Pulling in good peeps, and I think it's making us
get to know people who have been on our screens
for a while that we never really even knew. Yeah,
we don't really get to know people that well when
they're on the Bachelor and The Bachelor and.
Speaker 2 (48:56):
People just kind of slip between the cracks and yeah, yeah,
I like that.
Speaker 1 (49:00):
I love Parisa. I want her to not like Brian
so bad, you despise.
Speaker 2 (49:06):
I can't stand Brian, understandable.
Speaker 1 (49:08):
It would be difficuent if he looked like Dale, do
you know what I mean? Like, and that's so horrible
and like shallow to say, but he just doesn't look
like Dale or Jonathan like Jeremy.
Speaker 2 (49:20):
They're hot. Yeah, and he's so. It's not like he has.
Speaker 3 (49:23):
This great person or he has this bad personality and
he's so fine.
Speaker 2 (49:27):
I think both suck. He is obsessed with Parson. Is
that that's not your That's night?
Speaker 1 (49:32):
That was my literal stomach. That was so loud it
probably picked up on the mic. Maybe it was a
pigeon outside. I don't feel that hungry, but I haven't
had lunch.
Speaker 2 (49:39):
Oh you got to eat?
Speaker 1 (49:40):
Yeah, well, it's an awkward time. I ate so hard
when we got back from that blood work. We had
to do fasted labs this morning.
Speaker 3 (49:47):
You were when you're deprived of your coffee, there's nothing
more you want than your coffee. Like I'm starving. I
want a burrito, I want everything.
Speaker 1 (49:55):
No, I literally went Starbucks and got breakfast and coffee
on the way home. Everything too so good Anyways, All
in all, I'm really excited for Bachelor in Paradise with
the youngins. We haven't seen the oldens yet. But did
you hear the drama about the new Golden Bachelor. They've
got to fire him right or are they already filming? No,
apparently they haven't sorted filming.
Speaker 2 (50:16):
I think they should fire him. I think so too.
Speaker 1 (50:18):
It's too much controversy, very much, and I think it
would look better on them if they made a move
and fire them.
Speaker 2 (50:23):
I think so too.
Speaker 1 (50:24):
I honestly think it would bring Bachelor Nation up. Bachelor
Nation has just gone so downhill, and like, listen, I
will never leave.
Speaker 2 (50:31):
I know. I don't.
Speaker 3 (50:33):
I am.
Speaker 2 (50:33):
I'm too tried and true and loyal. We've been in
it for too long. But this might be the flip
and production that we needed to like really bring Bachelor
Nation back.
Speaker 3 (50:41):
And if you're listening to your people and you haven't
even started filming it, listen to them and fire him.
I think that it would rally everyone together.
Speaker 1 (50:49):
Just want d anyone over sixty And he's literally on
Golden Bachelor. Yeah, the whole point is people falling in love.
Speaker 3 (50:56):
He's trying to be like, this isn't silber Bachelor, this
is old Bachelor. So he's trying to make it a
point of like I'm not almost like eedy.
Speaker 1 (51:06):
And dead, but neither are they either, are they? Yeah,
it's like saying that women over sixty are dead basically,
and he's just saying it looks of what he wants
and a woman.
Speaker 2 (51:16):
How did he get hired? I don't understand. Don't they
do background checks? Like? I don't know.
Speaker 3 (51:21):
I just think they need to spend at least an
hour with this person and notice how they talk, yeah,
and how they're talking about women and how he's which.
Speaker 1 (51:30):
Goes back to how I feel about Brian. Have you
not spoken to this man? Where is the charm? I
don't see the charm.
Speaker 2 (51:36):
I don't either. He is obsessed with.
Speaker 1 (51:38):
He is, but but he's also the type where a
new Parisa walks in and he's gonna be obsessed with her.
Speaker 2 (51:45):
That is a really good point. I'm curious what. I
don't want to know what, or one woman man, But.
Speaker 3 (51:49):
You know what, I think he'll really hitch his wagon
at her now, because then the Rose will be in.
Speaker 2 (51:55):
Her court for sure next week. I love Parisa, me too.
I don't get why she like. I don't either. I
don't give it. Do you think that tonight that it's
another Rose ceremony? There's a Row ceremony to night, Oh
the one we haven't watched. Yeah, yeah yet.
Speaker 1 (52:09):
I don't know, because every episode has been a ROAs ceremony.
Maybe it's the Golden's robe. Oh lord, so speaking of
since we haven't seen it, we might be totally wrong.
But who are you predicting?
Speaker 2 (52:20):
Goes?
Speaker 3 (52:20):
So?
Speaker 2 (52:20):
Who do we have? Who? What are the men?
Speaker 1 (52:23):
Justin Okay, Spencer okay, Jeremy. So Justin's gonna pick either
Lexi or Susie. In my opinion, I think Alexi's going home.
I kind of hope Lexi goes home. Susie's better television.
Susie is so fun we love Susie. Spencer's picking jess
or Jeremy is picking Bailey. Yeah, yeah, Dale's picking Katy,
(52:47):
Brian's picking Parisa.
Speaker 2 (52:49):
Yep.
Speaker 1 (52:50):
Jonathan, I think he's gonna pick Alex. But I haven't
seen Jill say yet.
Speaker 2 (52:55):
I know, I think you're right.
Speaker 3 (52:56):
Unfortunately, I think Jill, Zoe, Ali, Joe, Ali, Joe and
and uh what's her name?
Speaker 2 (53:04):
Lexi go home? Yeah, I think you're right. I think
i'm right too.
Speaker 1 (53:08):
What.
Speaker 2 (53:08):
I love Joe, She's so funny. I know I want
Jill to stay, and maybe they do too.
Speaker 1 (53:13):
So maybe they'll bring a guy in, or maybe they'll
ask Justin to just like keep Jill around.
Speaker 2 (53:17):
Yeah, but then Susie goes home. There's no way so true,
we lose either way, we lose either way. Jill and
swuzzire great, maybe they'll bring in a guy. But he
did say four women go home. Yeah, four women. I
wish that they would bring in a guy last minute.
Speaker 1 (53:29):
But Zoe bye, Ali, Joe bye bye, don't care y bye. Honestly,
Lexi bye, Lexi is not meant for this world.
Speaker 3 (53:36):
We we need somebody.
Speaker 2 (53:39):
To come in.
Speaker 1 (53:40):
Who do you think is going to come in? But
because they're going to bring boys in next, you know
who comes in?
Speaker 2 (53:44):
I know who comes in a teast.
Speaker 1 (53:46):
I think there might have been a tease about it.
Oh Andrew Andrew comes in, he comes in. I love Andrew, Yeah, yeah, yeah,
he comes in.
Speaker 2 (53:55):
Who would vibe with him? Alex, Jill, Jill.
Speaker 1 (54:01):
Needs to come in right, ceremony and save Jill, Andrew
and sail. All that to say so, based on this conversation,
I think it's gonna be a great season.
Speaker 2 (54:09):
I think so too because of us, because you've heard
it here first. It feels good to be back with you.
I know you too, in my studio, in your lovely
