Dès son plus jeune âge, elle a commencé une collection de vinyles country classiques après avoir reçu de nombreux albums country appartenant à sa trisaïeule du coté de sa mère.
En écoutant ces voix légendaires comme Loretta Lynn, Merle Haggard, Emmylou Harris et Don Williams, Bailey Rae a rapidement découvert un amour pour la musique country traditionnelle qui continue d'influencer sa voix et son style musical aujourd'hui.
