House of Jordans - Sports Card Podcast

This episode takes the scenic route to revealing a recent Michael Jordan card acquisition.  Along the way I explain the series of events and revelations that led to it.

This episode dives into collecting Brock Purdy.  It starts with a review of his storybook first two seasons and disappointing third.  Then, Purdy's career metrics are reviewed.  Next is a walk through my 8-card Purdy collection.  Finally, I shed light on how I rank Purdy's rookie year cards, and add some thoughts on the process of ranking in general.

This episode has two (lengthy) segments.  The first discusses the acquisition of Christian McCaffrey's 2024 Prizm Black Finite 1/1—which keeps alive the run.  The second takes a Wittgensteinian turn into the language games played when we debate who is the "best" or "greatest" player of all-time, followed with an update of the Total MVP (and Total Total MVP) lists following the 2024-25 NBA season.
