Talking Albany, Traveling, and Growth with James H Duncan (Revisited)

This week, Thom Francis reintroduces us to poet, writer, and editor James H Duncan. In their conversation, they talk about traveling and living as a writer all around the country and right here in the Capital Region. James read his poem “Albany” at The Linda, WAMC’s Performing Arts Studio on December 17, 2021. — James H Duncan is the editor of Hobo Camp Review and the author of “We Are All Terminal But This Exit Is Mine,” “Vacancy,” and “Beyond the Wounded Horizon,” among other books of poetry and fiction. His latest collection of poetry is “We Have Waited Long Enough,” a collaboration with poets Gabriel Richard and Kevin Ridgeway. James has been back in the Capital Region for a few years after moving to Texas and spending time out west. After James shares his poem, "Albany," he goes on to talk about Albany, coming back home after time away traveling, and growth as a writer of both poetry and prose.
